Taste of Randolph Organizers in Hot Water Over Suggested Donations | Eater Chicago

"Run by David Choi, the vendor/operator has been active in assembling food lineups for festivals and believes the West Loop festival has diminished since the pandemic; Choi has experience bringing prominent local names to events (including Kasama, Harold’s Chicken, and Claudio Velez, the city’s well-known tamale vendor), and his perspective reflects concerns from local restaurateurs about vendor selection and the festival’s community value." - Ashok Selvam

Google
I’ve don’t think I’ve tried a Korean taco before trying Seoul Taco, but I’m definitely intrigued now. This location is tucked into a nice Schnucks in Rock Hill, and appears to be mostly aimed towards takeout. The staff were very friendly and the food was actually really good! I got two Seoul Tacos, one with Bulgogi Steak and one with Spicy Pork. They were really flavorful, especially the steak one. I also liked the Kimchi Slaw I ordered, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. I would try this place again for sure! Not bad for a quick and cheap daytime bite.

Google
Seoul taco location located inside the Schnucks grocery store, they have everything that a regular standalone location would have. Be aware of the hours, as they are only open from Thursday through Monday, closed Tuesday/Wednesday. Ample seating area that’s clean.

Google
Man, this burrito was so good. I'm traveling a lot and I love burritos. And this is by far one of the best burritos I ever had. Definitely coming back 🙌

I have just had the BEST experience at Seoul Taci. I haven’t been in a while and this was a treat! The guy that works at this location is so charming and funny. He did a great job explaining the wasabi sauce, what a genius idea to have Seoul Taco inside Schnucks!

Google
I ordered kimchi fried rice and an egg. Egg was great, but my kimchi had no flavor. Very disappointing. Maybe they can offer the bland and mild version and a more potent/stronger flavor and hotter spice version for people who love traditional Korean foods too?

Google
Located inside Schnucks. Minimal queues on a Friday night. Ordered a gogi bowl with bulgolgi steak (extra $2) and kimchi fried rice (had good amount of heat). Wasn't sure how hot the gogi sauce would be so ordered it on the side in a small container - ended up being fine - kimchi fried rice had more spice. Small seating area available in the corner.

We love Seoul Taco! Get the spicy pork burrito, it's the beeest

The service and food were good, although the food could have used a bit more flavor. It was a neat concept to fuse two different cuisines together.

Yelp
As always seoul taco is an amazing spot. I went to the kirkwood location this time and it is nestled inside a schnucks. Imagine getting a juicy burrito while grocery shopping. Genius. As always, seoul taco delivered. I used to think seoul taco was an amazing drunk treat. But, these burritos need to be consumed sober to truly be appreciated. Every bite is bursting with flavor. The seoul sauce is tangy, and slightly spicy. The bulgogi has just enough sweetness. The steak is tender. No matter the location, you can count on consistency and reliable flavor. Rounds of applause to all seoul tacos, and all their wonderful cooks.

Yelp
Criminally underrated! So easy to plug in an order on their website, pay with Apple Pay, and pick it up while getting a few groceries. I got the bulgogi steak burrito. It was ready in 3 minutes from ordering. The flavor was incredible. If you're picky or looking for traditional Mexican, this is not for you... but I have yet to try anything that I don't like. The Asian flair is awesome. Going to be a staple for me when looking for quick serve. Definitely no reason to go to chipotle when you have better options like this!

Yelp
Amazing staff! Best location for sure. The flavors and portions are outstanding! Highly recommended

Yelp
Don't bother looking at hours online. It's says they open at 11 and as I walked in at 11:45 the worker was also getting out of his car. Then strolls in saying "it'll be a bit before we can get going" as if they shouldn't have already been open and following that with "awh the hours still say we open at 11?" Classless and absurd. At the very least, update your hours so you're not wasting peoples time.

Yelp
I have been eating Seoul Taco for years, and just tried this location for the first time. The service is excellent, and the burrito is phenomenal. Tyler and Nick are great! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Well I tried to order but this guy wouldn't respond even when I said something. The other employee had headphones on and was doing dishes in the back and couldn't hear me either

Yelp
When we went to order we were told the electricity was out. It was an interesting yet bizarre comment as we were standing in a building with no signs of any electric being off in the entire grocery store, overnight head lights, signage or the other side by side restaurants in this food court area. I realized we stopped in this location unknowingly at the time about 30 minute before it closed. It appeared to me that started closing early and stopped taking customers.

Yelp
I love Seoul Taco and I was happy to find a new convenient location to grab lunch while shopping! I ordered a Crunchwrap and waited at the tables for my food. When I got it it had someone's else potstickers so I took them back up to let them know. The Crunchwrap was absolutely delicious! Full of flavor...it definitely didn't last long. The staff were all very young and the restaurant is very open since it's food court style. They were all arguing with each other over whether or not they had tofu and one girl was showing another girl a video on her phone while people were waiting for their orders. It was kind of uncomfortable since customers can see everything. Food was still good but staff need a little more awareness or maybe some supervision.

Yelp
Saw the employee mopped the floor four times during my stay. Egg was slightly undercooked.

Yelp
We love Seoul taco, but the food from this location was disappointing. The quesadillas didn't have much in it. I added meat to them. If I didn't, it would had basically been a greasy tortilla. Also ordered a bowl with beef. It had so much mushy rice and the sauce was a big clump in one corner of the box. Will definitely not return to this location.

Yelp
I came in to grab food at 7:40 - 20 minutes before they closed. I worked in the food & beverage industry and totally get how annoying it is for people to show up before closing. That being said, the employees were rude (even after I asked if it was okay for me to order food so close to when they were closing) and our burritos were half-filled and almost all tortilla. We love Seoul Taco and were really disappointed - we will avoid this location in the future.

Yelp
I tried to call this location. I found three different numbers posted, and none of them worked! Two were Google voice numbers that did not go anywhere. One was supposed to be the actual real number, but never actually could connected to a team member.

Yelp
Inside newly remodeled Schnucks as part of food court of three restaurants. Tasty and convenient with same food as other Seoul Taco locations.

Yelp
Very disappointing. I've heard such great things about Seoul Taco and looked forward to finally trying it. Unfortunately, it will be my last. I ordered the 3 tacos with bulgogi beef and took them home to "enjoy". I left the restaurant and was home within 10 minutes of receiving them. The tacos were cold and I mean like out of the refrigerator cold. They were not even close to being warm, let alone hot. 10 minutes did not do this. Additionally, one of the tacos was half gristle. Ugh!
