Jacob’s Catch Bar & Grill opens at Serene on the Eastside | Eater Vegas

"Since early 2017 this low-profile hotel across from the Hard Rock has operated as a modest resort property that has cycled through several dining concepts. It replaced a boutique hotel and has previously hosted outlets such as RLX Restaurant and Sip N’ Savor, as well as a past concept from local chef Vic Moea. The property now includes an on-site Southern dining option just off the lobby and presents a bright, modern interior for both guests and visitors." - Bradley Martin

Sip N’ Savor Debuts at the Serene Resort | Eater Vegas

"Located at Serene Resort on 455 E. Harmon Ave., I found Sip N’ Savor stepping out of the property's shadows to offer a casual yet engaging dining and lounge experience open to everyone from breakfast to dinner. The compact indoor space expands into an outdoor lounge and includes a 14-seat private dining section, and weekend brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It's situated across from the Hard Rock Hotel and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; the listed phone is 702-620-3322. Menu highlights include a $10 avocado toast, $8 omelets, and an $8 house-made stack of pancakes for breakfast; a $12 black bean burger, $12 chicken and waffles, and the $8 “chop chop” chopped cheeseburger on a hoagie roll for lunch; appetizers such as wings, calamari, pot-stickers, elote, and spinach artichoke dip; dinner entrees like Cornish hen, lamb chops, salmon, and vodka rigatoni; and desserts of deep-fried cheesecake and banana spring rolls." - Bradley Martin

Our stay at the Serene Hotel was made unforgettable thanks to the incredible service provided by Sarah. In a city as fast-paced as Las Vegas, her professional yet warm demeanor was a breath of fresh air. She was efficient, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our visit was perfect. If you’re looking for a seamless and stress-free experience, ask for her! We will definitely be back.

My experience was nice, stayed at the king suite and the room was renovated and pretty spacious. It could have been cleaner to my liking but overall good. Bed was very very comfortable I have to say. They charge $33 resort fee daily however the pool was empty, spa was closed, no bar as advertised and elevater was out of service. They offer $10ish breakfast but didnt get one so I can't advise on that.

Google
Its not the Fanciest Hotel but ot was very comfortable. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was cheap and decent. Nice little gym. It could use some paint touch ups and upgrades, but at the end of the day it was cozy and comfortable for us. It also doesn't break your bank!

The place is lovely, new, fresh and simple. The rooms are big and clean. Good price and nice free and spacious parking. The staff is lovely. You ove 200USD deposit when you go which is refundable. I find it a bit odd to have just 1 microwave in the lobby for all guests but that is how they decided it to be. However a huge no for me was the AC, after I changed the temperature, dust started falling on the bed and I am alergic. It would've been best if they changed the filters of the AC.

Slider door to balcony didn’t work so we never got to use it, lights on balcony didn’t work either so it was dark, toilet water wouldn’t flush unless we hold the latch the whole time, parking was so so to find. We had to walk thru lobby , pass the pool & court yard to get to our room and it was dark. Scary at night, worst of all was the plane flew almost every minutes and they were LOUD. The room itself was nice & decent size. No microwave either. Tv & AC remotes sometimes doesn’t work The only good thing was we can walk across the street to the Virgin hotel casino

Google
There are good things I can say about the hotel and bad. Let's start with the good. The price is good for what you get. It's clean. The bathroom is nice. Towels, sheets, pillows, blankets, a/c was all good. The front desk person working when I arrived was very nice and allowed me to switch from a king bed to a 2 queen room that I requested at check in. The door locked and could not be opened from the outside without a key, which is good, but the security bolt did not work. This is the start of the bad. The bed was soft and caves, the airplane noice is bad, woke me up at 6 am. Also we could hear the TV from the next room which was loud probably because the walls are thin and without proper insulation. So to wrap up, if you understand what you are paying for and it's limitations it's ok to stay here.

Google
I had the best experience in my life there. I flew from Columbus Ohio straight to that hotel next day after getting married in June 2023. My wife and I were so satisfied with the room layout. It was the first time we saw one like that. 10 out of 10.

Lily L.

Google
There's late check in and out if you have a later flight or just don't want to leave as early. The cleaning crew come every other day which can be nice but also sometimes annoying if you want to be left in peace. However there is a do not disturb sign to let them know if you don't want to be disturbed by them whilst in the room, or you can ask reception. They have a pool, gym and spa. I recommend the outside pool although there's sometimes debris floating on the pool. 100% recommend. It's a lovely budget friendly place to stay. It is located just off the strip. You can walk to the strip, but I wouldn't advise if it's really hot and sunny as it took us around 25 minutes to get to MGM Grand. Rooms were clean and simple. Some places in the room had dents and holes. I took pictures in case I was charged for damage.

Yelp
If you don't want to walk through a smoky Casino every time you leave your room, this is the place to stay. It's just off strip so very easy to get to any of the hot spots, but it's quiet, clean, and a great place to kick back and relax. You also don't have to walk far from your room to the front door where Ubers can pick you up, unlike the giant casinos where you have to walk a mile to get to your ride. The staff is super helpful and accommodating. They also have a restaurant on site. The rooms are large, clean with nice showers and comfy beds. There's a large pool in the inner courtyard. It's not fancy, but it's great value for the price. Highly recommended.

Yelp
***Misleading, Unsanitary, and Unsafe - Worst Hotel Experience Review: This hotel was nothing like what their website advertised. The room smelled awful the moment I walked in, and the cleanliness was unacceptable--dirty floors, stained linens, and an unsanitary bathroom. The pool was completely empty, and the jacuzzi water was full of green mold, which was shocking and disgusting. The parking lot was full of homeless individuals and people openly doing drugs, making the entire property feel unsafe. To top it off, I even found a housekeeper tucked away in a closet smoking instead of cleaning rooms. The laundry room smelled like a dump and had a huge hole in the wall where a drain pipe stuck out, with water flowing into a large hole in the ground--completely unacceptable and hazardous. The hallways and walls are completely felthy with God only knows what splattered all over them. Every room door looked like it had not been wiped down or cleaned in years. The smell once you walked inside the room was that like I have never smelled. Our shower door in 2502 was broken off the hinge and basically just hung there. We prayed that it did not fall off and hurt one of us. The staff was rude and dismissive when I asked for help, and nothing about this stay matched the description online. For the price, this was beyond unacceptable. I will never return and strongly recommend avoiding this hotel if you care about hygiene, safety, and basic hospitality. The ONLY positive about this hotel was their security guards and us getting the HELL OUT OF THERE!

Raven R.

Yelp
This hotel has a lot of potential. The rooms and hallways are disgusting. Our room had ants. No microwaves in the room. Gates to the parking lot are wedged open. So dangerous. Do not recommend.

John

Yelp
This place is disgusting. Don't come here. It's cheap and family friendly with a 24/7 security guard that actually walks around (thank you). But other than that it's crap. My room didn't even look like it had room service from prior occupants. There was a half full 2 liter of soda left in there from who knows who. Dust and filth around the whole room. My wife wiped down everything and you can see the dirt. Do better staff.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We arrived super early before check-in and we had our kayaks with us so we wanted to see if the hotel would let is store them whole we were doing other activities. Sarah greeted us and was so pleasant and wonderful. She said we could store our kayaks and helped us get them loaded into the office area and then also got us into a room that was ready early. It was a slightly bigger room but she said she would wave the upgrade fee for us since we werent looking to upgrade. She was super helpful when we were asking about places to take the kayaks and gave great detail when explaining where to park and where our room was located on the property. The room was great, no issues to bring up. They have a $10 breakfast buffet which was pretty good food, better and cheaper than most fast food places now. Highly recommend staying here, thanks Sarah for all your help.

Yelp
Loved my stay at Serene Boutique Hotel! Clean, comfy, and super relaxing--just far enough from the Strip to be peaceful but still close to everything. The pool area was a perfect bonus! The staff exceptionally helpful from check in to check out

Yelp
Interesting vibes, good times. We booked this hotel because of its location, conveniently across the street from the Virgin Hotel for a concert on the 5th. The people working behind the desk were friendly and efficient. Very clean, AC was very nice during 100° weather. TV had excellent channel options. We really only needed a place to eat and sleep. This was great. Some would say ... serene. god bless america #wokeup #alpha

Yelp
Don't ever book this hotel!!!! I would give it 0 stars if i could. NOT FEELING SAFE IS NOT CONSIDERED A REASON FOR A REFUND! Calling this a boutique hotel is false advertisement. This hotel looks like a Motel 6 that they added a coat of paint to. I am a single woman traveling alone; The room they put me in was at the end of the hall next to a door that was propped open and lead to the outside. Not only that the door looked like it had been forced open before i could literally put my hotel key through the side of the door and touch the lock from the outside. The room was not clean i refused to even take my shoes off. As if the room being clean wasn't good enough they had the WiFi box basically chained down and don't even have phones in the room to contact the front desk or anyone. I felt so uncomfortable i didn't even take a picture until i was outside the hotel. I stayed in the room maybe 1hr trying to make it work before calling my job to get find another hotel. Just for me to go put my bags in the car and see the police outside with their lights on. There is nothing safe about this hotel i was literally shaking as i left this place. The customer service is horrible. My job contacted the hotel (response pictured below) just for management to respond that not feeling safe is not a reason for refund. Not feeling safe at a hotel should be the #1 reason for a refund.

Yelp

Yelp
I booked this hotel because it has a wonderful and "serene" looking pool which is closed until April. I would not have booked if I would have been informed that the pool was closed before completing my reservation. During my stay, I wanted a extra blanket and was made to sign for it which I felt was ridiculous and there was no daily room service. When we needed towels we had to turn them in to the front desk for a fresh set. I asked for extra face clothes and was given only one. I am not sharing my face cloth with my husband. This hotel could be something special. The Definition of a boutique hotel:A boutique or lifestyle hotel is typically defined by its intimate and luxurious atmosphere, with a relatively small number of rooms ranging from 10 to 100. These hotels are known for their personalized service " There was NO personalized SERVICE..., where staff are attentive and cater to the unique needs of each guest."FAIL!!!!" I will not be back and would not recommend. Get your act together!

Yelp
I've been here less than 5 minutes in my room (the second room bc we got half of our stuff in and the elevator broke and I have mobility issues. The front desk is rude af, the ac isn't very cold, the lamps flicker and had I not prepaid and been in the car since 8am (and it's almost 7pm) otherwise I'd literally go find a motel 6 for way less. Worst hotel experience that I've had in my adult life.

Yelp
Karen went above and beyond to make our stay the best! Amazing prices amazing rooms and overall 10/10 will be coming every time and bringing all my family!

Yelp
I had a great, timely breakfast with the perfect seasoning and service! After a long night out of drinking fine, crafted cocktails, it was only righteous to have a good meal as a follow-up. IlThe food was so good, I had to pause, take a break and proceed with caution! Go to serene, it is a perfect breakfast with immaculate service-

Yelp
Absolutely One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I've Ever Had Completely Unprofessional I rarely write reviews, but I feel genuinely obligated to warn others about the horrific experience I had at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was an absolute mess. Check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM, yet when we arrived at 3:30, our room still wasn't ready. No apology, no explanation, just an unbothered attitude from the front desk. When we were finally allowed into a room at 4:00, we were sent to the WRONG one. we had booked and paid for a suite with two beds and a living room with a couch. Instead, we were given a regular room with just two beds. We went down to the front desk to politely explain the mistake, and the woman working (Monica) was extremely rude. She stared at us like we were the problem and didn't apologize once. When I asked how long it would take to get the room we actually booked, she snapped back and acted like I was inconveniencing her by even asking. After waiting another 30 minutes, we were told the correct room was finally ready. I asked if it was definitely the right one this time, and Monica's snide response was, "I certainly hope so," in the most sarcastic, dismissive tone imaginable. To top it all off: * She told us the Wi-Fi wasn't working and refused to give us the code (we eventually got it and it kind of worked but just barley). * They were out of blankets. What kind of hotel runs out of basic necessities like blankets??? * Not once did Monica acknowledge the inconvenience, offer any kind of apology, or attempt to make it right. This was hands down one of the most unprofessional, frustrating, and disappointing hotel stays I've ever had. The lack of basic hospitality, especially from Monica at the front desk, was shocking. I would never stay here again and I highly recommend you think twice before booking.

Yelp
WARNING: DO NOT BOOK HERE UNKESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO STAY!!!! I booked a 4 night stay expecting to see what I saw in the booking.com website. On booking.com the room rate was about $50/night with a $43 resort fee for each night plus they asked for a room deposit at the front desk for $200 - now why they wanted a room deposit baffles me since the rooms weren't all that to begin with. There seems to be one way in and one way out of this tragic place through the lobby. All the gate doors around the hotel are wired closed with signs to enter through the lobby. So what happens if there's a fire or an emergency exit needed? Good luck with that! The poor restaurant in the lobby I hope has seen better days. Not a soul to be seen dining there. The space doesn't seem appealing so why would anyone venture to eat there? In general, the unappealing theme describes this hotel. It looks like a war zone that hasn't been put back together again. The one positive thing I can say is there's a black woman with a high top bun behind the front desk that is extremely friendly and provides decent customer service. She assigned me room 1705 which was decent, fairly clean except the sheets had black spots/stains which housekeeping failed to remove from the bed when they cleaned my room. I had to do a Target/Walmart run for some hand soap and toilet paper since the hotel failed to provide any during my entire stay. Oh, two other things, the bed was surprisingly comfy. I didn't dare look under the bedskirt for fear I would see something I'd never forget. Second, room 1705 was very quiet which was a plus. The rooms are mostly positioned away from the busy street in the back of the property so it keeps the street noise to a minimum. I hope they're able to fix up the hotel because it does have quite a bit of potential. I could easily see it as a beachy fun vibe resort if they clean it up/renovate.

Yelp
My room was nice The restaurant food was amazing Customer service was great. The location is a little bit off the strip, but it is walking distance

Jake Y.

Yelp
Great spot! Early Check in and nice service!! I'm glad I booked this place because it was affordable and comfortable from the strip. About a block away which avoided loud noises and traffic but still close enough to party and enjoy the nightlife!

Darin T.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE EVER!! THIS ! This is the worst hotel I have ever visited. It is old, the beds are WORN out, it's filthy. The worst part is non stop techno music from the club across the street. Unbelievably loud! You will not sleep here . The pictures are very deceiving online plus you can't here this crap blasting at you nonstop.
google avatar

Kim S.

Yelp
Wow! Wonderful service from Selena at the front desk! She went above and beyond for 3 days in a row! Thank you Selena!
google avatar

DeNita A.

Yelp
If you want a chill environment with Jazz music away from the strip. This is the place! The blackened catfish with seared shrimp, lump crab , garlic lime butter over a bed of rice is on point!!! The oreo chocolate cake and banana pudding was to die for.

Mark L.

Yelp
It's away from the Strip. Room was clean, very comfortable bed. The pool was nice, the area around the pool was pretty. I ate at the restaurant the food was fantastic. They need to hire more staff , maybe a valet ? The restaurant could use a waitress . The chef / owner was a great guy, delicious food.
google avatar

Yolanda B.

Yelp
This place is horrible! Save yourself time and don't do it! Dirty towels, "security" gates broken. Oh yea they supposedly worked the next day after checkin ‍ but then the room key didn't. TV remote barely worked. Not to mention there a was a whole motorcycle club (I'm guessing) blocking the broke gate and loud as ever. Did I say when we were locked out the room. I heard a whole convo from the room across the hall as if she was talking to me (what the WHAT). Only good thing is they allowed us to cancel the remaining days and our cousin was able to get us a better located room.

Yelp
This would have been a decent stay if several things were not wrong with the room upon check in... Checking in was easy. They do charge an additional $150 deposit fee - which was not mentioned anywhere, but most hotels do this nowadays so I was not surprised. The girl behind the counter was on autopilot during the check in process, and while she did put on a pleasant face, it was lacking in enthusiasm and she did not ever actually engage with us, she just went through the motions. The delux king room was an upgrade from what I originally booked. The upgrade for $30 more than the base price gave us a suite instead of a room. I was under the impression we were getting a room at a resort (as per the resort fee), but this place is, in fact, a renovated apartment. The room concept was cute. And what excited us most was a HUGE tub located next to the bed. The unfortunate part is upon walking in, we noticed the tub was filthy... and had a strange pink stain on the rim. We did not even get a chance to browse the rest of the room because I had to go ask for them to clean the tub. While waiting to speak with the woman at the desk, we were approached by another woman who did not identify herself, but had a walkie talkie so when she approached, we told her the issue with the tub. Her response was, "They don't work anyway. They got no water pressure. They're being taken out with the next renovation so none of them work anymore." She acted put off by the request for it to be cleaned regardless, but conceeded and sent another woman up to clean it. Before this woman walked away, she was speaking to someone on the walkie talkie and said that a guest was complaining because her expensive coat was missing from her room after it had been cleaned. Wow.... (BTW - at no point did anyone offer a discount, a gift or anything for the inconvenience of lack of a tub). Anyway, we finally got back into the room only to find that the tub did not look much better. There was crown molding on mirrors that were attached to the wall behind the tub, of which were coming unhinged... the sink was filthy, and even the tissue dispenser was dirty. The shower was classy looking, but upon further inspection, was also filthy. We cleaned up ourselves because I was not going back down to the desk to discuss it further. There are 2 TV's in the room, of which, we only had a remote for one. This was yet another issue I refused to go back to discuss because we did not plan to do much TV watching anyway. The unfortunate part for us was that the TV in the bedroom was stuck on TLC so My 600lb Life became the background noise for our nights. Last complaint... the ice machine only exists on the far side of the complex. So a quick treck to the ice machine is non-existent if your room is close to the front of the hotel. Overall, I cannot complain about anything else. The room was huge, bed was comfy, parking was a breeze, the place was quiet for the most part, and it was pretty close to the strip (right across from the Hard Rock). There appeared to be life in the lobby during the day. They do have a restaurant and "spa" options but I only know about those because of signs posted around, no other marketing strategies, and definitely no one offering services at all. Probably will not return unless they are offering prices I cannot refuse...

Yelp
This hotel was pretty chill and laid back. You could tell it's under new management and ongoing construction. But it was clean and quiet, the staff was very attentive and informed. The check in process was fairly simple, but beware the charge for incidentals is $100 bucks. I booked directly through the website, so it would have been nice to know that the incidentals were that high. However, I am always prepared so I put the hold on my CC. When you book directly through the website you can pay in full. So those charges can be taken care of before you arrive. Once we were given our keys we were put in a room over looking the pool. Which was nice because we could chill on our balcony and catch a breeze. The inside of our room was very spacious, it had a large balcony window and nice sliding glass doors. Our bed was life! It was so nice and enormous, I think it was a Cal King. The pillows were plush and felt like clouds, I freaking loved the bed. Now the bathroom needs some work, I didn't care for the shower. The floor area didn't seem as clean as it should be. But that's nothing some shower shoes can't fix. Over all, It was a pleasant experience and I would book again. Keep up the great work!

Diana P.

Yelp
If I could give this place a zero, I absolutely would. Let's talk about the nightmare that is that hotel. Our flights kept getting canceled and delayed. We called them to inform them that we were going to be coming in late due to delays but still are confirming that we are coming. Someone with no sense there took it as we were canceling. They canceled our reservation without any warning or notification. They state they did, no emails nor messages through the booking site. Per the booking site our reservation was confirmed and even today the following day says it is confirmed. We get to the hotel, they tell us nothing they can do. We canceled. Again, we called to confirm the reservation, they canceled. They had no other rooms and would not tell us if they would be refunding what we already paid. Next morning, tried to call and speak to someone about what is going to happen. Karen (I'm assuming is what I heard since all she does is yell and hang up on people) at the front desk told us she cannot send us anything. Yet you canceled us. She starts stating that she will not help us if we continue to cuss at her. No one even raised their voice at her. I called twice asking for asking for a manager, she says there isn't one on the weekend, proceeds to yell at me and then hang up. I called again asking again for a manager or supervisor, she yells at me tells me she will not answer any of our calls again and hangs up. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. As frustrated as we are, we never cursed at her or raised our voices. Her name fits perfectly with her personality. It is 12pm the following day, my confirmation still says confirmed and approved. Obviously, they are double booking and keeping the money. Total scam. They will sell your room to anyone willing to pay more and keep your funds while they are at it. Please go elsewhere. And if a manager /owner sees this , please contact your very frustrated customer!

Yelp
Hotel was okay but inside the hotel is a hidden gem of a restaurant. It's called JazzyBlu and not only was the food delicious, the staff were very friendly and insightful. I was recommended the blackened catfish and loved how flavorful it was how much of a story you can learn from one dish. I will be back soon!

Yelp
!!!DO NOT STAY HERE!!! !!!BED BUGS!!! !Dirty sheets had my kids arms and legs itching like chicken pox! !Sticky stained carpets! !Room smelled of musk and mildew! Spend the the extra money and stay some where else! Upon arriving to the room the air conditioning split didn't even blow cold air. The showers did not work proper and lights did not turn on. Called the front desk to have the room switched. Than when getting into the second room tv did not work, bath tub was disgustingly dirty, a panel/tile was out of place and there must've been bed bugs or something in the sheets that made my kids entire back and legs itched. We really wanted to stay but ended up checking out within an hour of being in the room. This hotel is so dirty and customer service is so bad that it ruined our entire trip for us. Not to mention when we got to the front desk and spoke to the hotel manager (Latin Male with long hair) regarding all the issues we encountered in the room about getting a refund his answer was "You had used up two of my rooms.... you refuse to have my maintenance guy fix the problems" There shouldn't be any problems in the first place!!! Both rooms were in unlivable conditions. The hotel manager was very rude and had no concern for us as hotel guests as we are paying customers. Will never come back here and don't recommend anyone to stay here ever!!!

Simone S.

Yelp
Had a layover in Las Vegas The airlines put us up at a hotel name Serene they have a restaurant in the hotel named,Jazzy Blu is the ultimate breakfast destination! The moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a perfect morning. The breakfast spread is incredible, offering everything from fluffy pancakes, sausage to fresh fruit and omelets. Each dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, The jazz music in the background added a delightful touch, creating a relaxing and enjoyable ambiance. While the food at Jazzy Blu Buffet is top-notch, the hotel itself could use some improvements. Despite this, the fantastic breakfast experience makes it worth the visit. Jazzy Blu Buffet is a must-visit for anyone looking to start their day with a delicious and memorable breakfast!

Yelp
Not a 5 star hotel but def 5 star service! Selina at the front desk was super helpful with trying to find my 3rd party booking. Hotel is smart to post signs explaining some of the issues w 3rd party and even posted customer service numbers to call. Very helpful! It's a non gaming hotel but definitely a good, clean reliable property.

Yelp
Huge blood stain on my blanket! I immediately called front desk an asked for my bedding to be changed , I was told yes with a huge apology, 30 mins later i received a knock on the door by security bringing me a throw blanket. It was freezing cold . I asked why wasn't my bedding changed , I was told there was no one available to do it . You get what you pay for . I stayed 1 night . Never again 200 deposit upon arrival also

Yelp
This is what you get when you stay at the Serene .. soiled sheets and a completely rude manager who has no regards for her guests. Told front desk about the sheets and was told to make our own bed and given no blankets. Then Karen the manger "apologizes" and says she will help us out by reimburse us for our resort fee which she didn't do. Pay almost 800 for 3 nights. I was better off sleeping in my car. When calling Karen telling her how unacceptable it is to only refund us $30 she hung up on us

Yelp
This place is a polished turd. The street view is remodelled to hide the utter disaster of what ls inside. The walk to the room found filthy carpets, smell of mold, and poorly painted walls. The room had an overwhelming smell of cleaning products, enough so it made us sick. The room looked like a rent by hour prostitute hotel. It was filthy!!! We left 20 mintutes after arriving. We will be demanding a refund from booking.com.

Yelp
Last October/November, I drove out from Carlsbad, CA to Las Vegas for a Birthday getaway. A friend of mine who lives in Vegas had recommended the Serene, so I booked a stay for a couple of days. FWIW: I booked a newly renovated room, & couldn't be happier with the cleanliness & cool looking vibe of my room. The staff & the cleaning people were very friendly, & did an awesome job, as was security. As I was reading a few of the very negative reviews posted here, it made me stop to reflect on some of the inconsiderate loud rap playing ghetto trash I saw/heard there, who check in just to party, make a mess with no consideration to others enjoyment & peace & quiet & behave like a bunch of complete jackasses. I ended up extending a couple of days & stayed for 4 days total. Other than what I mentioned above (which Security addressed), I had an excellent stay & would stay there again...but the NUMBER 1 reason why I gave this place 5 STARS, was because of ONE PERSON: Mary; an absolutely sweetheart of a person who works at the front desk. The afternoon I checked in, she was the very first person who greeted me & every single day after that, I would see her at least 2-3 times a day and she would ALWAYS greet me with that beautiful smile of hers & had such a cool positive presence about her! To the management at the Serene: Give Mary a raise! :) Thank you for providing me with such a pleasant stay during my Birthday getaway. And to anyone reading this: spend a few extras $$$ & splurge for one of the renovated rooms, you'll be happy you did!

Yelp
The place stunk like smoke as soon as we walked in. We tried to air it out but it never went away. The bathroom floor was super dirty. There was still hair on the floor. The sofa in the room had dirt stains on it. And the shower handle was broken. Would not recommend this hotel at all. Pay a little more and stay at a better location.

Yelp
We arrived last night. It's close to the airport, that's a plus. It's resort style which had some pluses. All suites and second floors have a small balcony. The beds are comfortable and the showers upgraded. Room are of a tourist class. Clean but basis. Good value

Yelp
Honestly I really liked this place! My friend and I were in town for a music festival and all we wanted was something affordable and relatively close to the strip (we are young 20 something's and college students so we were definitely on a budget). It was much better than I was expecting. The staff was really nice, the room was clean, we had daily housekeeping, the amenities were cute, and there was vending machines, water, and coffee in the lobby which were very convenient. Honestly no complaints!

Nice 1.

Yelp
Staff were helpful and were doing the best they could with they policies they have to follow. I was taken aback by the check in process because it was unexpected (e.g., up front resort fee payment and a cash deposit). I likened it to flying with Spirit Airlines for the first time. If you do not know what to expect, then you will think it's the worst ____ ever, but you arrive to your destination at a low rate safely. Manage your expectations. You are staying there for a reason - its low cost. The hotel has extremely affordably priced rooms (i.e., a four night stay for the price of one night on the strip) that was completely rehabbed. The renovations continue and look good. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, dining, and the strip. I can imagine what the past was like at this hotel based on some of the revires, but the future is bright.

Yelp
Paid $600 for a room a month in advance and the next day they tell me my reservation booking can't be processed because someone bought out the whole hotel? Then what's a reservation for? Why'd it let me purchase a room? Unbelievable and never going to bring this place up again.

Yelp
10/10 the staff is amazing! My flight got canceled so I was looking for a room quick I found them on roomstorm from the airport recommendations. I arrived late before 11:30pm and the staff was so welcoming and the room was so nice, modern and clean! I will return here :)

Yelp
This was a very nice place to stay. Right across from the Virgin hotel and casino. This is a smaller place but rooms are big. Nice pool, friendly staff, easy to navigate the property. It's an average $20 cab ride to the strip or Harry Reid airport from the Serene. I would definitely stay again. It's also nice because you can get back at night and decompress from all the sounds and lights and watch a big screen tv on the couch, take a nice hot shower in the big walk in shower and then go to bed in a separate room in a king size bed. Also there is a Dunkin donuts and CVS right there on the corner and a lot of other fast food places and restaurants.

Yelp
This remodeled resort is very convenient to the strips. Accommodations were great, and the staff was amazing. Had breakfast at the on-site restaurant named Jazzyblu. Breakfast was delicious with nice portions. We had awesome service. I highly recommend not only the resort but definitely Jazzyblu!!!

Yelp
You need to get your facts straight. First of all, the $70 was just a refund of the resort fee, the property had no amenities worthy of a resort fee; there were no amenities, it was simply a fee to boost your bottom line. Upon acceptance of the $70 credit, we agreed on getting a refund but you mentioned I had to go through Hotels.com, and when I did couple days later, and then you denied the request. I threatened to leave a transparent review rather than wasting my time and energy if you just did the right thing and refunded my stay. I don't feel I should have to pay for my room I couldn't access that had all my stuff in it. You then try to belittle my experience by saying it was only 7 hours, but imagine returning to your room late at night and not being able to access any of your important items (medication, food, drinks, car keys, etc.). You provided us with another room but it wasn't even the same room type, it had one bed when I had originally paid for two beds. I couldn't access my room 95% of the time and had to wait for several hours on one occasion for the maintenance to replace the locks but it still didn't fix the issue and still had to spend several hours with maintenance after to figure out the issue. I should be invoicing you for my valuable time. I spent more than half of my stay trying to fix your damn locks. I did not mix my keys up, when maintenance came by, I surrendered the old keys and they did whatever they had to do with them. All in all, your technology is outdated and your customer service is crap. Really makes you think.

Yelp
Shady drug dealers live here . Don't trust anyone here, they claim they have no cameras They do . My car got robbed with my pet in it . I asked fir a cart , they said they didn't have one So I needed to do a couple of trips to the car Walked to the car to get my cat and mote luggage Car was gone Parked right out front They didn't want detectives or anyone to go into their cameras , the detective said it's common fir that to happen due to law enforcement bringing heat there . Also they said there were many car thefts there Also safes were broken into on 3 other occasions that I discovered . What's happening in this hotel is pretty scary . Don't put anything in the safes if you stay there and make sure you have a very loud security alarm on your car .

Yelp
I would give NO stars if that was possible. The place was dirty and smelled horrible. The pictures on their website is nothing like what this place actually is. There is only one entrance/exit to this entire "resort" although there are many gates which look like and entrance/exit, it is chained and padlocked. The WiFi didn't work, no matter how many different variations we tried with what they provided to us. The customer service for check-in and check-out was horrible. They are rude and they do not do anything to make your stay pleasant, their motto seems to be, "If you don't like it, you can leave" - seriously, that's what this place is like. This place is a joke.

Yelp
Christmas 2022 - Flights canceled leaving many travellers, to find hotel rooms close to the airport. Thankfully, found one at Serene Vegas Boutique. When I walked in, it smelled like wonderful Christmas. Thank u Mgmt, this was a real boost. Aroma Therapy is real! The ladies on shift as I'm checking out were warm, caring & professional. The room and bed was large and comfortable. Firm but cushy pillows, 2 Large Bath sheets, what's not to love. I usual don't care for the memory foam mattress, however...this mattress was firm underneath, and my back felt good this morning! Again, I feel truly blessed to have 'landed' here at this hotel. Happy New Year!

Yelp
The bed was big and comfy and ambience is nice..BUT our room was NOT AT ALL clean. Hair and toilet paper on bathroom floor. Black mold in shower. Stuff all over carpet. None of the outlets hold a plug. Heater didn't work right. Water was burning hot or ice cold. No in between. Patio had a broken chair and trashed table. The place totally needs a good cleaning more than remodeling. :( there is no excuse for the wads of hair and toilet paper behind the door in the pictures I attached. That was gross...and we were offered no apologies, just a shrug from the desk boy and the comment from manager below.

Yelp
Worth 3 stars but could be better . Huge sized room with two separate areas which was nice . The room decor & set up was cute with a modern hip-style vibe . However it was very disappointing for the tub not to have worked and just be sitting in the middle of the floor as a tease. Also noticed some stains on the bathroom floor and burn marks on the furniture that really brought down the place . Staff were bland and did nothing more or nothing less than their job type of attitude . Overall the hotel was quiet and felt safe . Not bad for one night. Worth a deal .

Yelp
This place is nasty. Don't be fooled by the pictures. This so call resort is outdated and dirty. They had so many problems when you check in. 1st they only take cash deposit which isn't stated nowhere on the website or posted anywhere. The night manager working stayed they not accepting electronic deposits but you have the option to pay cash or card for the resort fee. 2nd if you have a tub it won't work cause they are so call upgrading their building. Mildew and rust throughout the bathroom. I called front desk for new comforter because mines had blood spots on it. Been waiting over 30minutes and had to call again plus it's 3am. After second call and 45min wait finally got a cheap thin comforter. My shower was clogged so I was standing in a mini tub and they have the most smallest tv for a large room. They don't vacuum the floors. My friend room door look like it was broken into and had extra locks on the inside. They only have 1 entrance and exit for the whole resort which is a fire hazard. I will never stay here again and won't recommend this place to my dog (this is the 1st night). Smh 2nd night, people were having loud parties. I had to tell some to lower their voice since they wanted to have a conversation outside of my door. Security is a joke and most of them are young and don't give a damn. The bedsheets are super thin and that's why they put 4 or 5 on your bed. The tv box is behind the tv or hanging from it. Smh. So I have to get close to tv just to change channel. Housekeeping made my bed and put the same dirty comforter back on my bed and opened the blinds where everyone can see what's in my room. Balcony is nasty and dirty. Spiderwebs on the windowsills, chipped paint everywhere even outside. This place isn't a resort. It's a cheap motel. Save your money and pay for quality

Yelp
THE WORST HOTEL AND COSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I don't normally write reviews but this place by far has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed out. The hotel was so old and dirty - it's different from the pictures on website. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional - Specially Jill(picture attached) at front counter and the manger. Accusing me something I didn't do for to get my deposit. I finally left Hotel but they didn't give me fullly refund. They still wants to charge extra days that I wasn't staying and treat horribly because I was leaving the hotel. Ridiculous!!!
