Sergio's Pizzas

A pleasant surprise for a restaurant. Was not expecting the restaurant and food to be this good. The inside atmosphere was very nice and the food was delicious. The aracherra pizza was delicious! A must try. Nice place to have a Roman pizza dinner.

We enjoyed our visit. Our waiter was really sweet and attentive . The food was really good. We ordered a pasta Alfredo sauce with chicken and mushrooms, also a Crepse salad. Thank goodness we shared as the portions were huge But... it's Italian, I assumed they would have a good choice of wine...NO! I asked for red wine, he brought me a small bottle, a mini. I debated not drinking it...but I did...it was mediocre. My mistake was not asking the price. When the bill came it was $238 pesos...the same regular size bottle is only $250 pesos. Lesson learned. I would definitely go back though and try the pizza, just don't order wine...lol.

We had such a great time here. The host was wonderful and the service was impeccable. The food and drink were excellent. We joked with our waiter about winning a prize if we finished our meal and as a humorous and friendly gesture they congratulated with a delicious dessert. We laugh so much when we realized what they had done. A night we will always remember in Chetumal.

The restaurant are clean we try many different things all was good high recommend

Pizza crust tasted like commercial and not hand made, with no tomato sauce. Caesar salad did not have much flavor. A real disappointment after reading all the favorable reviews.

The wait staff was exceptional. Even pulled my chair out for me. The food was delicious. Even got to sing along with 80's love ballads

UPDATE: I received a reply saying that the pizza crust they use is hand made. There is NO WAY the crust on the pizza I got there is hand made, sorry - it is clearly a factory-made crust. The staff are quite nice, and they did give me the courtesy of a reply, for which I am giving Sergio's an extra star on my review. I will go back again soon for another pizza to see if the crust has improved. :) I have eaten more than one meal here, so it's not like I don't know my way around this restaurant. Their breakfast is pretty good, but I ordered eggs over easy, and got eggs sunny-side up with the underneath part burnt. I thought I would get eggs correctly cooked because the waiter assured me that he understood what over easy meant. Unfortunately, the pizza crusts they use are what essential amount to a cookie. It's not a real pizza crust. You would be better off going across the street and ordering a real Pizza that has a real handmade crust.
