The family picanha meal is worth every penny! Delicious and lots of food, plenty for at least two meals or to pack for next day's lunch. I especially liked the boiled plantains which have always been a favorite of mine and I love scooping farofa into my rice. The picanha is flavorful and full of good protein. The entire meal is very filling and satisfying. I used to live in Newark while attending grad school, where the ironbound had plenty of good Brazilian food. This was just as good, if not better. Try it!

My very first time here. My friend's and I decided to dine here after the Car Show. Service was superb. Love the atmosphere. We all enjoyed our food. I personally will come back soon.......Thank You!

Everything is great at Sérgio's but a picture is worth a thousand words... take a look at this Brazilian Coxinha and the Brazilian empanada, both deep fried pastries filled with well seasoned shredded chicken and the brazilian cream cheese called "catupiry"... all of that topped with a homemade herbal green maionese. OMG! I have just one ask, please include the Brazilian Monster Hot Dog in the Riverside menu 🤘😎

Food was absolutely incredible! Service was great! Lower score for atmosphere only because we came earlier in the day and it was only my family in the restaurant so it was very low key and calm. Definitely would recommend and would definitely come back again. Don’t pass up the garlic mayo! It’s the best thing!!

This might be one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Pork chops were so overcooked and dried out I could barely cut them. Same for the sausage. I had maybe one cup of rice and about 7 cups of rice dumped over top so it was not edible. I threw it out. So I wasted 60 dollars with delivery fees. Never again. Definitely don’t order online you’ll be disappointed.

Great place with homemade food cooked with care and great seasoning! We love the portions as well, we went for lunch and took home enough for dinner! Great place you will not regret.

The food is delicious! Best açaí. Bernadete, our server is very nice, extremely polite. We loved her.

We were in the area looking for someplace different to grab a bite. There looks to be so many great options in this area. We decided to try Sergio's. We parked on the street but it looks like they have their own parking lot in the back. We walked in from the street side, but weren't sure where to go since there is also another entrance on the other side of the restaurant, We wandered around until someone asked if we wanted to be seated. We said yes, and they said we could sit wherever. The place was bustling. So many people came in after we did, and there we saw a lot of take out orders being picked up as well. Their menu is pretty extensive. We decided to split the Chicago burger and fries. We saw everyone ordering these pitchers of drinks. We didn't ask and assumed it was Sergio's drink on the menu. We ordered a raspberry lime. It ended up being their version of bottle soda...which was very good. We realized it was the pitcher of smoothies everyone was ordering. We definitely felt like we missed out, but will try next time. We were checking out what everyone was getting. A lot of acai bowls were being delivered to tables. They looked really good. The small one looked like a large size from other places. Someone ordered a large and the bowl was huge!! Our Chicago Burger came out and looked great. The meat was a little different from a traditional burger, but was very tasty. The cheese on it was so good. I took some of it and put it on the fries. The fries were very good too. Almost like a double fry. Looking at the menu there are also two other locations; one in Long Branch, NJ and one in Philly.

Such a wonderful experience. We ordered authentic Brazilian food. Our waiter was so friendly and willing to share his culture with us. He translated for the manager who made it a point to come to the table to greet us after our meal and make sure we enjoyed it. There was plenty on the menu that looked amazing that we want to try in the future. They also specialize in burgers that look stupendous and açaí bowls. When you go, it is seat yourself but they are very quick to come to begin serving. If you are looking for a unique experience and friendly service, check them out!
