"Serious Pizza, the Deep Ellum purveyor of giant 30-inch pies, has opened its second location in Fort Worth’s West 7th district. The new restaurant, at 2728 West 7th Street, opened June 23, and will host a grand opening celebration July 1 complete with pizza delivery on horseback throughout the West 7th district. The pizzeria’s tiny Dallas dining room was renovated earlier this year, reopening in February with much more space. The Fort Worth location includes expansive seating and an outdoor patio." - Brittanie Shey

We love Serious Pizza! It is great for birthday parties and some are comically huge but extra fun for the kids. Highly recommend! The Philly Cheesesteak Pizza was extremely tasty and you can’t go wrong with pepperoni. Enjoy!

Why so serious? Lighten up with a slice! Next time you're in Fort Worth, Texas, don’t miss this pizza spot. The slices are massive—perfect for serious cravings. My favorite? The white slice, loaded with garlic butter—absolutely delicious. Only downside: the fountain drinks were super sweet. Still, worth the visit!

This pizza is so good! If you like New York style pizza you’re going to love this. I have cool T-shirts. If you like bring a sticker and you can add to the atmosphere. All you have to do is give the sticker to the person taking your order and they will add it to their collection. Also, save room for dessert. They have this cinnamon monkey bread that will change your life!

Never been here before. Ordered for pick up. I got the Margherita. But I added pepperonis. Picked it up. It was on time, 7pm. Even though my text told me 7:10 or later. Glad I was early. It was very hot. I opened the box and I was surprised. I re-opened the box again and I looked at it. It looks NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES ONLINE. Or rather- it looks the same if you only put like half of the ingredients. And I started to mention this but I didn’t because I have all these ingredients fresh at home. There might’ve been 4 total basil leaves in thirds (on an 18” pizza), maybe ~10 pepperonis, and ~4 Roma tomato slices. Nothing like the picture. A very small drizzle of balsamic (even less than the pic-and I loveeee balsamic). In the picture, all of these ingredients were covering the pizza, from end to end. Also, my basil was almost brown. I took the pizza home and dressed it up with fresh basil from my garden, and a truffle balsamic glaze. I added my own sauce on the side, and it was delicious. So, the pizza was a good pizza. But I def had to dress it up to make it look like it originally should have looked. They did give me a sauce on the side, which they told me comes with all pizzas. I tried it and it was a little garlicky- good for the crust! The store itself had packs of parm cheese and red pepper, which I took. And also Melinda’s Pizza Hot Sauce as a condiment for dine-in patrons. I tried that too and it was yummy! Got some to-go but didn’t use it yet. All in all, I would go back. But I would make sure they make the pizza look a little more like the picture they’re advertising instead of barely any toppings. Pics I posted are what I took home, versus after I added additional of the same (basil and balsamic).

I picked up a half-and-half pizza from Serious Pizza in Fort Worth—pepperoni and spinach on one side, mushrooms and jalapeños on the other. I’m allergic to mushrooms, so this mix-up was a serious health risk. When I got the pizza, all toppings were on one side, and the other half was plain cheese. I reported the mistake, but the store refused to remake or refund my order and just said “sorry.” It’s unacceptable to pay for a custom order and get it wrong, especially with allergies involved, and then be denied a fix. I won’t be ordering here again. They tell you what to eat and almost kill you with your allergies

Google
I eat here occasion only and absolutely love the pizza so I just decided to bring my kids to let them try it. Their faces were priceless. They absolutely love the pizza and loved the size of each slice of pizza.

Google
It’s a small location so I feel seating is limited but pizza is good! Definitely worth a try for anyone who wants to try their GIANT PIZZA (30 inches for roughly $45) They have a spicy ranch that makes the pizza just that much better. I would suggest! parking also isn’t the best.

Google
Overall great place. Service, food, and atmosphere were outstanding. They do take a minute but it’s expected as the pies are not small nor compare in taste to Pizza Hut and Dominos. The pies are thin like New York style. They have three sizes (18”, 24”, and 30”), sweet and savory braided bread (not photographed).

Yelp
My husband and I are currently on a pizza tour of DFW and Serious Pizza was on our list. I've heard good things, but pizza is just pizza to me. I was pleasantly surprised when we ordered the Philly pizza HOW good it really was! One thing I appreciated - the honesty of how long it'll take to make the pizza. As soon as you walk in, there's a sign at the beginning of the line that says "our pizzas take a minimum of 25 minutes to bake." There's no complaining of your pizza taking a long time, you've been warned! Coming from the hospitality industry, there's always a complainer even when the food is good, so I laughed a little when I saw that sign. The pizza was well worth the wait and my two kids LOVED it. The service was spectacular and the restaurant seemed clean. The lady at the cashier was nice and friendly, too. Oh and the serious sauce was delish! Couldn't ask for more! We'll be back! FYI, restrooms are only single stalls.

Yelp
I've seen a lot of posts on Instagram about this place. So, I thought, this would be a good place to meet up with my cousin. It was definitely an experience. First of all, they have parallel parking on the side of the building. This is a very nice perk. You can just zoom into a spot. There's more parking in the back as well . You can enter on the side or through the back. The doors are really heavy so make sure you do some strength training. Lol. They have large Pizza sizes to choose from but, that doesn't really benefit me. I'm a small eater. I was attracted to their Pizza by the slice. It's 5.75 for a slice. They make their pizza fresh so it takes about 25 minutes. So, bring your patience and don't expect to eat right away. The Cashier was really nice and friendly but, spoke really fast. It was hard to understand what she was saying.. I noticed they have their own brand of Soda and Lemonade. I got a Diet drink and mixed it with Cola to help the flavor of the Diet Coke. Pizza plates and condiments are next to the drink station so you can help yourself. Pizza is brought out to you. As far as, the Pizza, the Cheese was rich and Goey. The Pizza crust was dry. There were minimal Pepperonis on the Pizza and it was a bit charred? Seriously? The Pizza slice was large in size so, large you could fold it like a Taco. They provided a dipping sauce which seemed like Spicy Ranch. It was semi spicy, very tasty. Bring your Jacket and fingerless gloves because, the ac is on Full blast. They have to keep it cool for the workers since they work right next to the oven. So customers be willing to freeze your butts off. There's no space heaters either. Seriously? So, if you like large slices of Pizza and want to freeze your butt off. I would seriously recommend bringing all your family and friends here.

Yelp
Neat concept, poor execution--find better pizza elsewhere! Ambiance & Service: Dark, moody vibe with cool art! Pizzas took a while, but we were warned in advance. Food: My custom huge slice was massive (great for sharing) but sadly undercooked--felt like eating raw dough. Very disappointing! TL;DR: Cool vibe, but the undercooked pizza isn't worth the wait!

David G.

Yelp
Love me some pizza by the slice. Great to have that option when all you want is one gigantic slice. The portion is the only thing it has going for itself. This pizza is what you call drunk pizza. It's open late and the portion is enough to satisfy the hungriest of people. It's just not the tastiest slice. It leaves more to be desired which is why they even give you a complimentary side of chipotle ranch. Good pizza doesn't need ranch.

Lacey G.

Yelp
We have been at this location twice to celebrate our youngest son's birthday. It's great for a large group and we always have leftovers. We sat outside on the patio both times.

Tracey T.

Yelp
With indoor and outdoor seating, this pizza restaurant serves fresh hot pizza with the perfect amount of crispy crust. The crust is between thin and hand tossed. The portion size is huge. The ambiance is low lights and pure pizzeria. While we sat inside, the outdoor seating looks inviting also. Service is order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Drinks and condiments are self serve. Pizza lovers GO TRY IT! You'll love it .

Byron B.

Yelp
I tried serious pizza first time and being in Texas would not imagine pizza would have been so great I think there pizza is all around perfect what more would you want, many pizzas to choose from and practically every topping along with the sauce is not over powering I'll definitely be back again thanks everyone At serious pizza Fort Worth TX

Tracy N.

Yelp
Love this place! Great for a late night snack after going out in Fort Worth. The white pizza is my favorite! Order some for takeout, drizzle hot honey and red pepper flakes onto the pizza, and it's amazing.

Jimme L.

Yelp
The Jerk is probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Sometimes I'll add pepperoni but it's just as good but itself. The dark setting and music they play is really nice but it can get pretty loud especially after people from 7th flock in.

Catherine P.

Yelp
I am lucky enough to live 2 blocks from this location! One of my favorite places on 7th Street to dine. Check out my $9 slice, it's huge!

Erin A.

Yelp
Got two 30 inch pizzas, and let me tell you what a fun experience that was to enjoy with friends. The pizza was very good. We got pepperoni and supreme so nothing crazy, but still yummy.

Franky R.

Yelp
This place has gone down hill!! I've been a loyal customer for years before the ft.worth location. Deep elm location never disappoints but this one might as well make that drive to Dallas. The last time we ordered it was caked with cheese and undercooked. We gave it another chance to be disappointed again. Too much cheese with a burnt crust taste like the oven hasn't been cleaned. So disappointing for playing high dollar for low end result

Jessica C.

Yelp
I ordered online for convenience. This is how it arrived. Very disappointed. And I know they felt it when they left it because as soon as I grabbed it I could feel the pizza all on one side.

Ana M.

Yelp
best pizza in fw hands down also, they're HUGE great for the price they're so quick, we got our pizza within a few minutes of ordering.

Ishara F.

Yelp
Man the pizzas here are seriously huge. Even though they are huge they are very thin crust pizzas so you can easily have a few slices. The Jerk pizza was really tasty. The Margherita would have been better without the balsamic glaze. They have cool sodas they make at the restaurant which were neat to try. The strawberry soda smelled like strawberry jello. The flavor is less sugary than I thought it would be and was enjoyable to drink. Prices are pretty reasonable if you buy a full pizza. Do not bother buying slices as the two slices I bought was equivalent to the price of the 18 inch pizza. This place was featured on a YouTube show that I liked watching and I am really glad I was in Fort Worth to try it out for myself.

Alicia F.

Yelp
Pizza is extremely nostalgic to me. The smell the taste even the greasy fingers after a good slice. That's what Serious does for me, takes me home (missing u NYC). Love the fact when I'm hungry late at nite Serious is Open! What more can I ask for? An enormous slice of pizza for $6 and soo filling... An 18in less than $20 and their spicy ranch which my girls LOVE it the cherry on top. Why with these great words of praise you ask only 4 Well I ordered an extra cheese pie and it wasn't extra and the dough is somewhat chewy. Not sure if it's the water but I'm not fan of rubbery crust BUT I'm still a loyal customer

Jamie T.

Yelp
Loving how you can customize your pizza and add a topping(s) for around a dollar. You can watch football while you're there too. Keep in mind though, the pizza takes a while to cook because it's quality pizza. The pre-set pizza designs are also very good. Bathrooms are great as well, they're one person bathrooms.

Mel N.

Yelp
The pizzas here along with the individual slices are huge and all taste great. I ordered delivery and it was really fast. The sauce they give you which is some type of ranch is also very good; I just wish they gave more.

Kenya J.

Yelp
This is the pizza place worth eating from! Several signs indicated there would be a significant wait due to cooking time, but I don't think we waited long at all. Our BBQ chick pizza smelled and tasted amazing! If I find myself back in Fort Worth, I'll swing by and grab another pizza.

Rep R.

Yelp
There is a smell when you walk through the door. Possible fix: replace the wax ring or plastic ring at the base of your toilets.

Tina B.

Yelp
One seriously large box of pizza can feed my family of 6 for a decent price. That is a win for me. Perfect for game nights. Order ahead for faster service.

Daniel E.

Yelp
Great pizza and seriously huge slices. The pizza by the slice is massive! You only need one slice, so don't let them $8-ish price tag scare you away. The whole pizzas are just as delicious. My favorite being the bbq chicken! The sauce is tangy and sooo nice. I haven't ordered their largest size pizza yet, but it's gigantic! I don't think a family of three could eat it all tbh. You'd have some leftovers. The crust is neutral on this pie, nothing over the top, but tastes good. It had a nice fold to it while having a little bit of crisp on the bottom, but not breaking in half like a cracker when you fold it. They have impossible sausage for you vegetarians/kosher-ish lifestyles too! They also give military/veteran discount, I can't remember how much though, maybe 10%? The staff is always friendly, the place is clean, and easy parking. I do wish it was a little more lit up inside, but nothing I can't live with! 10/10 on the pizza. Great topping selections and tastes phenomenal!

Thomas J.

Yelp
This place has great pizza that comes in three different sizes. The crust was thin enough that I was able to eat four slices and didn't feel stuffed. The service was great and the pizza came out fast.

Mark J.

Yelp
Seriously delicious and seriously big pizza at Serious Pizza in Fort Worth. I was really pleased with the pizza at Serious Pizza. The cheese and pepperoni were very good and the crust was enjoyable. It is not my favorite pizza but it was still very enjoyable. I tend to like a crust that has more chew to it.

Demus H.

Yelp
The pizza here is really good all the different flavors are amazing customer service okay

Christi S.

Yelp
We discovered this place when someone at our hotel came in the lobby with a GIANT pizza box - we decided we had to try it. We got the garlic bread and the 30" pizza (half pepperoni, half "big meat"). The pizza takes a while (25 minutes or so) to bake since it's so big, but the bread was perfect to snack on while we waited. The serious sauce is kind of like a spicy ranch, and it was addicting. The bread was dusted with Parmesan and we all thought it was great. The pizza is thin crust and the kind you eat with a fork & knife. We thought it was great! We couldn't finish it all with our family of 5, so one pizza is more than enough for most small groups. The people working were super friendly, too. We will be back anytime we are in the area, for sure.

Michael S.

Yelp
Ok! I'm a big pizza lover and this place has BIG pizza! It's brand new and just doing a soft open right now, so don't be like Nathan Y and expect to go in and have anything be perfect. Opening a restaurant is tough as hell and i'm speaking from experience. The location is smaller than i expected which isn't ideal with very limited parking available, not sure it's right for this place but we'll see. A friend and I went there today for lunch and each ordered a pepperoni slice $5.75 each and a drink. They do serve bottles and cans of beer but on 7th they'd be better off serving tap local Brees I think. Our food came out quickly and the slices were huge and tasty, a good value for the price too. While we were sitting at our table we could watch them making pizzas including the seriously large pizza which is literally seriously large!!! It's mostly a novelty type place that you wanna get once in awhile just to have that gigantic pizza Lol, the pizza is tasty but there are definitely better pizza spots here in fort worth. I'd say this place was definitely worth checking out and i'm glad we did, we'll be back again later after they are in full swing

India F.

Yelp
Seriously...haha probably the best sliced pizza I've had in forever. The service was great, the pizza was fresh, seriously....will go again!

Lexie E.

Yelp
This is the kinda place you'll wanna take your tribe! Pizza sizes are ginormous and baked to order. The crust is perfect, the pizza's are giant & the jalapeño ranch is where it's at! You won't walk away hungry. If your visiting Ft.Worth or have family/friends coming in town, this is the place to go!

Oso K.

Yelp
Had trouble getting this thing in my car. Usually when I get pizza from this place it last me a couple days. It also re heats pretty well via the oven(mainly cuz the slices won't fit in my microwave. Big fan of this place!

Justin M.

Yelp
If your looking to get the worst slice of pizza in your life the complete polar opposite of being near a New York pizza i would compare eating the pepperoni slice to a tomato soup you can feed about 2 people spaghetti dinner with the amount of sauce they use, not to mention this could probably be the soggiest pizza in DFW Do not come here. Similar to the other location in Dallas it's trash.

Jessie B.

Yelp
Our first try here was during their first week opening. The wait was INSANE for our pizza BUT it was delicious. The second time the wait was average and nothing to be upset with. Pizza was tasty. This most recent visit the wait was short!! The pizza's came out within 10 minutes from ordering. And we all had different slices. Which by the way are HUGE!!!!! The white pizza is my all time favorite PIZZA EVER. I mean it. And you can do gluten free! The ranch dip is yummy for pizza dippin. Their side salads are also a good side to go with your pizza of choice. I think this place is finally leveling out and is doing great. You must try!!!!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
On the way home from Dallas and pizza was sounding amazing. We had yet to try Serious so we dropped in and see what the disgruntled slice was all about. They have a few options for a group size pizza or a massive single slice is also available. I was with my son so we opted for an 18" half and half meat lovers and veggie with pepperoni. This thing was HUGE for 2 people. We needed to adopt a 3rd for it to make more sense but opted to just do some stretches and knee bends to get the rest down. Great toppings! The cheese is rich and stringy! The sauce is a little thinner than I like but it went well with the cheese and toppings. The employees were super nice. We were very prepared to get 2 18's but the cashier suggested we could get a half...SO GLAD we did. I mean pizza for dinner and breakfast is amazing but no need really. The music pumping was chill but not too loud. Only suggestions really are lids for the drinks option and napkins at the bar areas along the windows. Getting up with greasy hands is rough. All in all...Very cool place! Thanks guys!!

Emma B.

Yelp
This place was actually pretty good, we ordered the 30inch and did wait a probably about 40mins for it. We did half and half, only issue was you have to have the same sauce base, no half bbq, half red sauce - which kinda sucks! However one slice is plenty! We were stuffed! It was kind of like eating a calzone as you fold it cause it's soo large, waaay bigger than a NY slice! Another downside was the online menu said they had pitchers of beer, so I was looking forward to a pitcher of beer and pizza - I mean that sounds pretty good!! However, no pitchers, not even any draft beer so don't know why it was on the menu!! Only canned beer. It's order at the counter, and they bring your pizza to you to you. Comes with their own elevated version of ranch which was tasty for dipping your crust in. Good crust too! Leftover pizza reheated nicely in my air fryer too!

Sunny P.

Yelp
Absolutely love the pizza. My boyfriend and I love getting pizza from here because it's huge with so many options. The staff are super helpful too! The premade options are pretty good but the fresh customized ones are amazing. It does suck that they charge extra even if you remove a topping from one of the premade and swap it for a similar one (ie vegetable for vegetable swap). Besides the price (customizing is expensive), the pizza is divine!!!

David B.

Yelp
This is the worst food I have ever had. This place should close down. Serving drunk people undercooked flaccid doughy pizza. Not only was the taste, smell, and look awful, but the attitude of the workers resembled a crew that had no passion behind the product they were delivering. Dear owner, please humble yourself and try your product. Truly and honestly the worst I've ever encountered. Please, don't take this lightly. Take a look in the mirror and figure it out. Sincerely, Disappointed

Sandy S.

Yelp
I finally went in and I wasn't impressed with the pizza. Sure the pizzas are huge but my deluxe pizza had no taste. The crust was good but the sauce and ingredients had no taste, t. The pizzas are overpriced.

Terry J.

Yelp
1st visit. Start by saying bearded guy wasn't overly friendly. We waited to place an order. Phone rings bearded guy puts customer on hold and finished putting away boxes. They have huge pizza's. Smallest 18 inch. $22.00 and an additional $2.00 for topping. Limited toppings for a pizza place, no green olives or anchovies. (I'm unique and get it). One slice $6.00. (Create your own slice) Can't explain it but it's dark on the inside, no pizza smell and overall just didn't feel right. We opted to leave.

Rich S.

Yelp
Oh man! While I've never eaten at this location, I'd had a giant pizza from the Deep Ellum location over 10 years ago. (My sister was visiting, and neither of us could believe how big they made it! We literally had to put it in the trunk!! It was awesome!!) This location i visited about 2 weeks ago, and it was good. I mistakenly didn't read the fine print; $5\topping, so 18" totaled $36! Yep. Including 3 extra toppings. I was hangry. Took 2 days to consume. Allegedly. They have some other options i plan to explore in the coming months; Big Meat, The Philly and The White. The gentleman behind the counter was patient with me, and eventually convinced me to purchase one if their pies. I didn't feel like waiting, and was considering slices, initially. I'm glad he did! I probably WILL do slices next go around, just to try different things. #imsupposedtobequttingpizza

Kate G.

Yelp
Solid pizza, it just takes a minute for it to come out and they don't have plates. Other than that it's pretty good, just super greasy.

Christina T.

Yelp
Seriously (see what I did there) excited to have my favorite Dallas pizza joint in Fort Worth!! Place operates the same as the Deep Ellum location. Order at register where you receive a number when dining in and pizza is brought to you. I haven't ordered to go so not sure exactly how that works. Their pies are HUGE but you can order by the slice. I do recommend that you select tomato based slices though as they don't have the white base ready for slice ordering if that makes since. Ie. Had i ordered a Philly slice it would have come on tomato base & possibly not been as tasty as when a full pie is ordered. Parking is slim as are tables depending on the time of day. We went at 4:30 on a Sunday and it was packed. There is a small patio. Beer and wine is available. No liquor. But the important stuff...this pizza is so darn good that I almost can't control myself. The toppings are super fresh and the crust has just the right amount of crust which can withstand any amount of toppings . It pains me to give them a 4 but they did bring my friend the wrong slice so... - while no one is perfect you really need to be to score 5 stars. Maybe on my next visit.

Stephanie V.

Yelp
They're kinda open but not til July 1st. If you haven't had a chance to experience serious pizza in deep ellum you've gotta try it here in Fort Worth!! The hype is real. Get your pizza large, extra large or seriously large size! They have plenty of outdoor seating available and areas for you to sit solo on a lunch break. You can't miss the sign it's bright orange right off 7th. Let's talk about the pizza!!! To say the slices are huge is an understatement! Bring a group to finish a seriously large sized pie. These boxes barely fit on the table which is comical. The pizza is on the thinner size similar to a NY style slice. They offer OG flavors and specialty slices and pies!

Shawn F.

Yelp
Went there for dinner with my family last night and thought the food was good we ordered medium or 24inch deluxe pizza 1/2 jerk and the other was just onion pepper and pepperoni we ate there and brought home about 4 pieces. when my son was warming up his leftover tonight he found not 2 but 3 pieces of hair in the cheese , I don't remember if they were wearing hairnets while cooking but I definitely think they should be , overall the pizza was very tasty, But getting past the hair to finish the 3 pieces left will be hard to do. I would highly recommend HAIRNETS for employees if my family come back and notice they are not wearing, we will definitely spend pur money somewhere else . Not a great first impression but hopefully it's just an accident and not intentional.

Brad U.

Yelp
Kids and I love their giant 30" round pizza. Doesn't even fit in the truck. Had to drive home with the pizza in the bed of the truck. Love the giant slices.

Sam M.

Yelp
Their processes and people have improved since first opening. Good job And the pizza is really good too.

Therral L.

Yelp
Had a late night craving for pizza and I've been wanting to try the Fort Worth location for awhile now so we went for a slice. I've been to the location in Deep Ellum before but I've never ordered a single slice. I was surprised when my total came up to 12 bucks and the sign said 5.75 for a slice. Well they charge you per topping sheesh no wonder this place was empty. I mean I get being charged per topping for a build your own but I ordered a slice of a signature pizza so why do I have to pay per ingredient when I wouldn't normally pay for it if I ordered it whole. I could get the same slice for less right up the street at Tulane's. Which is probably where I'll end up going because I'm not coming back. The pizza was good though so that's what got the three stars. See ya later Serious Pizza it was nice of you to visit Fort Worth but your home Is in Dallas.

Lady G.

Yelp
Serious Pizza is SERIOUS eating! I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza. It took about 15-minutes to receive my order. The pizza was served hot and fresh with a special sauce on the side. It was mind blowing delicious! I'm taking a few friends along next time!

Kaylei O.

Yelp
I liked the pizza, the environment, and the bread. The people are nice and make you feel comfortable. I would definitely go back!

Kinsey F.

Yelp
The pizza is amazing, and the staff is so cool!! Just go check this place out when you have a chance. Not to mention this is definitely the biggest pizza I've ever had. We went for the "Serious" size or whatever the largest was. Split half and half with pepperoni and the impossible. So good! Thank you for a fun experience!
