Great place for shopping. Great place for shopping there are a variety of stores for all your needs and many food options. The mall is big and the staff are kind I would recommend to shop here instead of Stonestown.

I come here to charge my Tesla. Pretty frequently. I hate that they haven't fixed the elevator in the parking garage. I currently need to use the restroom, which means I need to run down 3 flights of stairs, run into Macy's, and hope that the bathroom is open. If not, find an escalator that's running or run to find a elevator in Macy's before my bladder explodes. I think I'm going to keep posting reviews about how the elevator never works. Oh, and some of you need to chill driving in the parking garage. Drive to the side of the ramps and not the middle. You don't own the ramps. And another thing.... what's with all the empty fire extinguisher boxes. How does this parking garage pass inspections for EHS and ADA. Someone is getting paid under the table

Google
This mall has changed a lot. Their stores, and their food court has changed a lot. They have modernized it and have a lot of cool shops.. I love buy Uncle Tetsu tart, Auntie Annie’s pretzels or getting some boba drink from Quickly. Now I am also curious about the new Korea market that just opened but waiting to check it out when all the hype dies down.

Google
I recently visited this shopping center for a much-needed shopping spree, and it exceeded my expectations. The customer service was top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff eager to assist. The variety of stores offered high-quality products across different price ranges, ensuring great value for both budget shoppers and those looking for premium items. Whether you're after fashion, tech, or home goods, this center has it all. Cleanliness and safety were also well-maintained, making my experience stress-free and enjoyable.

Google
It’s a mall I was working but all the stores were very nice and friendly. They remembered me and said hello each day I worked. Clean and nice. Gets busy around 3-4pm. Check it out

Google
This shopping center is attractive indeed. It is next to Hwy 280, has more than 100 wonderful stores, and every Thursday and Saturday from 9am till 1pm all year around a Certified Farmer's market is available. Many stores offer great discounts. A food court is opened for takeout. Seats and tables in the food court are temporarily closed. Parking is available just about everywhere except in the north area where a new construction is taking place. Farmer's market is behind Macy's. Location is very convenient to make the last gift purchase before arriving to the airport. Recomend!

Google
Nice new relocated shops: tj maxx, Ross, Nordstrom rack. Bad parking. The tj maxx men's section was sorely lacking & quite small. Omigod! The parking in the new section is horrendous! Long waits. Twisty & blocked roads. Horrible. Please add a Tonymoly store, an Aritaum store , & a The Face Shop. 5/16/21: The Macy's is great. The food court is not so great. There's a lack of food choices for me. They should put in a few high end stores too.

Google
A great, family mall that is undergoing a welcome freshening up. Lots of new stores and food options. Lots of new places to sit and relax (with outlets to charge your devices!)

Yelp
Why is this mall so poorly rated? It's a fine mall! Yes, the parking situation is ABSOLUTELY abysmal, but compared to some of the other malls in Bay Area, actually frankly, some of the malls in SoCal, too, this is a very nice mall! There's an ALIVE and full food court with a good variety of dining choices as well as other eateries throughout the shopping center as well as a good variety of stores (an attached Target too!, Sekaido anime shop, a Miniso coming in, and so much more). The decor is nice for the Christmas season and there's lots of photo opportunities too. Wish that the restrooms were a bit more plentiful and clean but that's a bit more understandable with how hectic everything was. I don't mind coming back here in the future especially seeing more developments they'll have in the future too.

Yelp
In terms of malls in the Peninsula, Serramonte is fine if you are looking for shoes, hats, and some food and clothes. In the shopping center area as a whole, it's pretty much a one stop shop. Target, Nordstrom Rack, Jolibee, Super Duper, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dave and Busters, chick fil an and Panda Express. It's home to one of the only Dick's sporting goods on this part of the Bay Area as well. The local sneaker spot sells hats that I've only seen online, and it's been a go to spot for me to pick up higher end hats to add to my collection. They also got a pretty big shoe palace, JD sports, and Footlocker for your sneaker needs. The best part is that there's always parking available. The Macys side is usually empty and access to the mall is easy. This isn't the mall for designer stuff but they got the basics covered which is sometimes all I'm looking for. Definitely looking forward to the new Korean super market coming in, that will be a huge addition to the mall for sure.

Yelp
Really nice area with tons of stores and super clean. Lots of surrounding stores and food as well. Nice place to walk around and spend time with family and friends.

Yelp
A few of the more unique or appealing businesses at this mall include As Seen On TV, Art of Massage, Dave & Buster's, and Slime Kitchen (for kids). But on my recent visit, I did my shopping at Victoria's Secret and World Market. Then grabbed a sandwich at the Great Steak, which was delish! Some of my preferred food options here would be California Fish Grill or Hawaiian King BBQ, but they offer a good range of eateries for all kinds of tastes, from ramen and sushi to mochi donuts. Haven't been here in years, but the place still looks modern and inviting, not too upscale, but not run down or a ghost town, steady crowds and business even on a Monday evening. Parking was easy too.

Yelp
They have revitalized this mall. We went shopping there twice within a couple of months because my tween likes shopping here!
google avatar

James H.

Yelp
Some big box stores-Target, Dick's Sporting, Macy's, Daiso. Starbucks and Chick Fil A on one side. Serramonte Center is always busy. Parking sucks pretty much all the time. Close to freeway. Easy access from 280.
google avatar

Yelp
Good mall, great mall even. But now their digital directory boards is now used for advertisement. I only get 2 seconds to look at the map, then 5 minutes worth of advertisements, then occasionally 10 seconds for a QR code where I can see their map online (whether the website map is up to date or not). Not even a stagnant little QR code I could use in the corner or a physical stand somewhere I could scan. Not customer friendly.

Yelp
Its 8am I came out of the Crunch Gym and as im walking to my car I see a guy in his car throwing a bag of trash through the window, I told him "hey you drop that, please pick it up and put it in the trash can" to what he responded, I can do whatever I want because I work here, he said he is a Serramonte Mall Employee and because of that he can trow trash anywhere he wants including the mall parking floor...I THOUGHT LITTERING WAS ILLEGAL... I sincerely hope the mall does something about it!!!

Yelp
I had some time to waste, having dropped off my car being serviced. It became clear, the path to this shopping center isn't made for walkers. If you're driving there's a big parking lot on both sides. More on that later. Inside I felt safe, a real plus, and the place is clean & spacious. There's only one floor, so you're not going to get an extensive collection of stores. Macys & Target are the anchors, with an H&M, and other familiar retail. I thought the large open space could use some more seating, and definitely more signage. Here's my issue. Whenever I go to the center I get completely disoriented, the layout has hallways off the main drag, then, wait, is this another main drag, have I been here already? So confusing? Is my car outside this entrance, or where? I resort to jotting down what store I'm parked near, & use gps to find my way out. On to the "food court". I asked a clerk who pointed me in the direction of Target. Turns out i had walked right past. It's about 3 take-out places, sellers of fried chicken, a dessert place, & a third shuttered establishment. There was some tables outside to eat your fast food. By contrast, the stores were well laid out. At Target I bought a small item after some retail entertainment in the toy department. Anyway, I had a good time, left hungry, but eventually found my way out of the maze.

Yelp
A long-time feature of the area. A wide selection of stores and eating establishments, and generally a good value for money / time. Individual store services can be hit or miss. Parking is tough, and unfortunately, it's been subject to some high-profile smash and grabs, but there has definitely been an increase in Police presence to attempt to combat this.

Yelp
Everything is broken in this mall from multiple doors, bathroom stalls, every single water fountain in this mall is broken and many more things. Bathrooms by the foodcourt are always a mess smells like straight up ass the air and humidity literally changes once you walk in, and the stores are so basic and expensive for no reason
google avatar

Yelp
This is what a mall should be. Hundreds of stores with lots of variety (unlike Stonestown which lost its way long ago). The Dave & busters sports bar/arcade is fantastic with great energy open till 2am plus the Dick's sporting goods is top notch. A massive Target store and Macy's are also on site. The food court here is newly renovated and has great offerings. They still have a Disney store for the kids and have expanded the mall with more stores located outside on the parking lot. Since Tanforan is closing hopefully Serramonte picks up Spencer's and Barnes & Noble. Overall though I love this mall.
google avatar

Yelp
This mall is surprisingly multi faceted and interesting compared to some other malls in the peninsula. Pretty underrated imo.

Yelp
I went to The Shoe Palace in the Serramonte Mall near the Macy's to purchase some shoes. From the time I entered the store not one employee spoke or offered to assist me as I observed them greet other customers that entered the store. I had to go and find someone that worked there to ask for assistance to try on a shoe. The manager(the lady with the ponytail) literally ran past me as I was approaching her to ask for help, did not ask if I needed assistance but I've observed her asking other customers did they need help. Upon checking out, the manager is talking to her co worker as she is ringing me up. She puts my tennis shoes in the bag, places the receipt in the bag, and she aggressively pushes the bag towards me and walks away. I said have a good evening and she didn't respond as she continued to carry on her conversation with her co-worker. This is not my first interaction with the manager at this store. She is always rude to me. The best words to describe that store is" high school behavior"; you have a bunch of adults acting like high school kids. I will not be returning to that location. Al Bundy from the show Married with Children has better customer service than these young adults.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spots when I am in SF. Love their food court and this mall offers various shops. Pretty sad that couple of my favorite stores were closed but overall this mall offers enough variety where I still stop by to this day. I highly recommend Naan-N-Curry located in the food court and don't forget to refresh your palate with nice milk tea @ 85C degrees cafe.

Elena A.

Yelp
The cinnamon and Auntie Anne's is the worst customer service ever, not going back to this store.the one next to target

Yelp
What a transformation! I was here recently, and mini stores like The Rack, TJ Max and Party City came out of nowhere, located where Daiso used to be. Speaking off, does anyone know where Daiso went? Hahaha.... Has it been that long since I was here last? I guess so because new stores are everywhere. They have really fixed up this mall. Cleaner aisles, more places to eat, and their buffet court have healthier eats too! That's fantastic. Even 85 Degree Bakery invested a new store here so really glad to see things are going well. With the rise of ecommerce, we will see a trend of more big box stores closing. Toys R Us will soon be history. However, I think Seramonte Mall have found a niche to slow this trend down by opening smaller versions, of big box stores by focusing on seamless experience, personal service and guaranteeing efficient and quick checkout which I think, will save the retail stores. PS- best time to shop here is from 2-5pm weekdays. The rest of the time, it's packed and parking can be a challenge. Cheers!

Yelp
One of the worst strip mall shopping centers in the Bay area. Parking is inadequate. Layout is horrible. Difficult to access and to get out of. You're better off trying to shop on market Street in San Francisco.
google avatar

Lizzie G.

Yelp
What can you say about a shopping center stores stores stores shop shop shop til you drop! HaHa!!!! They always have some good bargains they have the food court which is mediocre Teens hang out here just don't shop during the holidays cuz you know it gets kind of cray cray, and now that they have Dicks next door its hella packed and crazy.
google avatar

Yelp
I like the Asian themed decoration and the recent upgrades. Macy's is the cornerstone and the Target Store seems to be the busiest. You have your usual stores geared towards teenagers in-between. Among the aforementioned stores, the Giant's Dugout and Hat Club are the ones I frequent the most. However, the Elephant Bar Restaurant was a nice addition. Saying that, it is what it is. You get what you pay for. Take it or leave it. Like every other mall, it has some positives and negatives. But it will suffice none the less. And one more thing: it has plenty of parking spaces, you just have to know where.
google avatar

Yelp
This mall is not too bad. I go there ever so often with my son. He enjoys visiting the fountain and looking at the fish and turtles. We went there over the weekend on 6/16/19, to visit the fountain to see the fish and we no longer see turtles. He cried because the only fish was dying. Obvious neglect by not cleaning the water. I would suggest if you're going to put animals in your water, please keep it CLEAN.

Yelp
It's big and was in joe ko Easter Sunday definitely worth the watch. Beautiful please more

Yelp
If you arrived via Tesla you're either lost or you stole it. Serramonte is a value/mid-market mall, the Woolly Mammoth of covered shopping experiences; trudging forward as skies darken and the tundra thaws...err.. not so fast, el dicto simpliciter - Serramonte is expanding to be "more" - to rejuvenate the shopping experience. Even so, you'll only come here if you're are local or 5.0 is on your tail and you need to lay low. WHAT'S THE BUZZ: - $109M Re-Development Plan - 2018 Expansion - 247K Sq Ft - Coming: Nordstrom Rack, Cost Plus, Dave & Busters SHOPPING EXPERIENCE: Decent marketplace-vibe, reasonable collection of youthful-esque shops - Cap Club (hats), Kids Foot Locker, Hollister, Forever XXI, Disney, Oui Oui Macoron and 85 Degree Bakery...both Uniglo and H&M provide nouveau appeal. There's a Crunch Fitness which is seems odd but I can see how getting in and out works well. ANCHOR STORES: JC Penny and Macy's - investing heavily to reinvigorate their shopping experience Dick's Sporting Goods - everything you need from baseball to wife-carrying Target - .perhaps its Darwinism, but adding Target to a mall is like adding lunch to dinner Full store directory here: http://www.serramontecenter.com/directory RESTAURANTS: Elephant Bar, Barracuda Sushi, Buffalo Wild Wings, Home of Chicken and Waffles...simple math - Macy's 1-Day sale has you all tuckered out and you need to eat.... or you have a hankering for chicken and waffles (I've been, I like my chicken and waffles!). FOOD COURT: Hand reaches teeth, teeth pull pin, hand tosses grenade. I'd avoid this part of the mall entirely, just bring a Charleston Chew. SUMMARY Crib nearby? you'll visit for convenience; little further out? it's DSG you are after (worth the trek, hands down).

Yelp
Serramonte has definitely improved SO much over its time. I remember thinking this place was not all that crackin' 10 years ago or so, but it definitely gained its popularity (at least in my friend circle/generation) when I knew a lot of my friends going there for the only Forever21 nearby or finding teeny bopper style at Nina's (Both of those stores now are blown up into huge versions of what they used to be!) Now there's an addition of a Uniqlo and H&M, Hollister remodeled, Mervyn's closed, the Disney store is more grand, 85C just opened and now Dave and Buster's is on its way! There are some stores such as Macy's and JC Penny's that still have their classic look since the very beginning, and they're still in business. Oh and, I love the target here. They usually have everything I need and want. There's also a lot of parking and spots to eat like Buffalo Wild Wings and Elephant Bar. And you usually can find what you want here if you can't find it in SF.
google avatar

Yelp
I like coming here to Serramonte Center is because they host Sports Card Show about two times a year and also to get free autographs from some ex 49ers players like Guy Mcintyre & Wendell Tyler who made appearences to Serramonte and to sign free autographs... Sometimes there could be other ex 49er players that would make a appearence to Serramonte Sports Card Show and sign free autographs... On other times that, I like coming here is the Giants Dugout or Sports City two of my favorite shopping stores that they have here!!! I also like the eating places that they have here at Serramonte places like Burger King, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Muscle Beach Hot Dog On A Stick, Auntie Anne's Pretzels, Star Bucks, Marie Callender's...
google avatar

Ramona G.

Yelp
Mmmmm yummy! This is the place to go when you're looking for Filipino eye candy! It's a smaller size mall and there aren't many stores. They have a Bench store here, one of the only few in the U.S. This mall conveniently has a Target and it also has a Quickly's in their food court. It would be nice to see an expansion of this mall. Get ready ladies if you're lucky you'll see fione a$$ pinoy boys left and right! Tee hee giggles! Aka Derek Ramsay type of guys...
google avatar

Patrick S.

Yelp
The mall isn't to bad except for the older folks who came just to hang out all day, taking up the center of the mall and seats within the separate wings. The Security doesn't do anything, even though they post signs. Oh well, SF, what can you do....
google avatar

Jenny S.

Yelp
Simple small mall. I hate shopping at malls because I don't like people but I had to stop by Daiso since they closed the huge store across from it! WHY!!! the store is so small now and I am claustrophobic but helps with my spendings. Anywho cute fashion stores there; should probably go into them next time for days I need to dress like a "girl." Stopped by finish line to check if they had all the hyped up new Adidas Kicks. I wanted the NMDS but since it's so hyped up its been out for awhile so I tried the ALPHABOUNCE in kids size! There's a white NMD the same size in kids.... Should I????? Anyways great service at finish line too bad I didn't check into there instead of the mall. Ha

Yelp
Good ol' Serramonte... Spent many days/nights here when I was growing up in SF and for a time, living right in Daly City. Though Serramonte has never been a hotbed of fashion, I take it for what it is and what they have now. It's definitely a place of nostalgia for me. But on my recent visit to the mall, I saw some cool shops and bought some good stuff. I like the Adapt store. I got some nice shirts from there. Hidden Hype has some good stuff including rare sneakers. Shoe Palace has lots of footwear and some apparel. The staff I met at these shops were all super cool and helpful. I definitely recommend those stores. Serramonte was always the super Filipino mall growing up being that it's in Daly City. That hasnt changed. In fact, in the center of the mall was a lady who was selling chicharron, spicy vinegar and fish sauce from her cart. It was an established vendor cart in the mall! Hahaha... Only in Daly City. It was both awesome and awkward to see. LOL. The mall can use some updating for sure. And an infusion of more current stores would be nice. There is plenty of parking usually. Be back soon Serramonte...

Yelp
I grew up in Daly City so this place has always been the PLACE to go for all shopping needs. This place has gone through remodeling and upgrades over the past 20 years. I remember Montgomery Wards used to be here and that is where I got my first GAME BOY! I also bought my first musical keyboard there and my family got our old washing machine from there as well. There used to be a Nintendo Station in this mall back in the 90's which was AWESOME! I would play on the nintendo for hours while the RENTS walked around the mall and shopped. The cool thing back then was that all the kids use to just hang out here, those were the days!!! Today, the mall is very DIFFERENT but there are some things that remain the same. The food court has been remodeled which is nice. But, Sbarro was the longest stapled restaurant here at Serramonte. I am so surprised by that but it made sense! Everyone love PIZZA! The Walgreens that use to be here is now a Gym and the nasty Burger King is gone as well! Side note, when the Burger King was here it was so GROSS! I would find the most strangest and weirdest bodily particles in my food, YUCK! Back to the mall, it has come along and progressed with the times. With new paint and shops this mall is still a cemented, in my mind, as a landmark of Daly City. Oh, all the asian folks that use to hang out here and play chess and walk around the mall are no longer here. I don't know what happened but I never see them anymore in the mornings. They always had their seats opposite Sbarro! I get the feeling that they were kicked out for some reason, that's a bummer! I like the upgrades and additions that have been here. Dick's Sporting Goods, Target, Finishline, Elephant Bar, and Barracuda are just some of the recent additions that have been brought to Serramonte over the past 15 years. While tourists and people from out of town may not get this place it is still my locally trusted shopping mall! I never go wrong when I come here. #throwacoininthefountainandmakeawish

Yelp
Definitely not the best mall out there! The kids area is so small compared to the one in tanforan. It's always crowded in the weekends and there's not enough space for our children to run. The food selection is also poor, they only have a few fast food places. The elephant bar is there but the food doesn't have a flavor and the drinks suck! They only have one bathroom in the whole mall unless you go to target you will be able to find another one. As for the stores they don't have the widest selection. They don't have a place to get your nails done either. This mall definitely needs improvement and a few places for kids to run while the parents do the shopping.
google avatar

Ron C.

Yelp
Used to work at one of the stores and was much smaller. After i relocated jobs back in July of 2015, they soon started building new stores and restaurants. Memorable times coming here before, and also glad of there expansion project.
google avatar

Ming C.

Yelp
A Filipino community center mixed with a bunch of shops. There are so many Filipinos each day just sitting at the benches using it as a gathering area, eating some food bought from another place. Later in the day, they use these benches as beds. The individual stores has nothing special, especially the food court.
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
Used to come here often when I lived in Daly City. Pretty good stores. Likes: Sanrio, Forever 21, Wet Seal, Hot Topic, Target, Elephant Bar, Jamba Juice Dislikes: Sometimes parking is tough in parking lot. Lori's Diner (I think that's what it's called) gave me food poisoning whenever I ate there once.

Yelp
Awh, I don't believe it. This place is getting to be a big flop. Even after renovations it still won't cut it. During my college years this was the mall that I always went to whether or not I worked in San Francisco. Now as I make it here it's gotten ugly. Either this is due to the pandemic or I have been away from this place way too long. I was in the food court and a great majority of food prices have risen at least 80%. I am still broke and it's not making my shopping experience any better. There is also a lack of security here because some psychotic J E R Ks think they can jack a store. Back when I was here there were real cops stationed nearby patrolling the place from baddies. Parking is terrible on the Weekends and the parking lots are full of trash left behind by people who are too hyperactive or just want to treat their SamTrans ride like it's an amusement park. However there are still things I still like here such as a Jollibees. It's really addictive. On some happy days there will be special events for the people such as a political meet and greet. One time I was here, there was a Filipino health fair and it made me super happy. Got a free pen. Every time I step in here it feels like I am in the Philippines AKA the culture is very welcoming and homely. For a small mall it's really diverse. I love their bus station because service is a lot frequent here than at VFL in San Jose and Hillsdale Mall in SM county.

Yelp
Nice shopping center in Daly City Easy to maneuver and lots of shops!!! Also has a food court that I think could be approved by adding a Mcdonald's or Taco bell. New places to visit are the Daiso and Dave and Buster's located outside of the food court. It also has big stores like: Target, Macy's, and Jcpenney's. Always has alot of people even in the morning with older people doing morning walks. Very busy on the weekends.

Sharon F.

Yelp
ugh! This was MY shopping center in the 1970's. It was amazing in every way with great stores, a wonderful center lighted rain fountain, just amazing in every way. Fast forward to today: what happened????????????? I don't know who actually owns this mall now, but it has been taken so far away from it's original inception that it is almost unrecognizable except for the iconic Macy's wing. If something ain't broke, WHY "FIX" IT?????? Parking is nearly impossible, there's ten billion shoppers, just trying to get through the Target store is beyond exhausting. Gone is the beautiful rain fountain, there is NEVER any available seating ANYWHERE, people are unfriendly (and this includes the staff at practically every store I have been in). What happened? I used to walk to Serramonte seriously every single day for 12 years and enjoyed every moment of my shopping experience there. Every time I go now, its to a specific store to purchase a specific item and then leave immediately. I repeat UGH!!!
google avatar

Sean B.

Yelp
It's big and sprawling; which, if you live in San Francisco, I'm not going to lie, you sort of miss. Plenty of good stores. Uniqlo. H&M. Lots of decent food. Ooh ooh ooh, and Off The Grid meets in the parking lot sometimes (I think Tuesdays at the time of this review), so you can get AWESOME food truck noms fifty feet out the exterior doors. Senor Sisig makes any shopping experience better.

Yelp
CONVENIENT (3 stars) Back in the days when I was once in my teens, traveling from Seattle to kick it with BayArea Filipinos who took us to this mall to hang out was "cool". Key phrase: when I was once in my teens. It's not a place I do my typical shopping but it is a place Daly City locals frequent often. 1) gym 2) target 3) farmers market 4) franchise eats 5) dugout store 6) adapt store 7) off the grid DC are all in proximity (just to name a few positives). If a quick purchase needs to be made for whatever occasion it is usually done here. It is a convenient suburb mall. What I do like, it's no longer an overly crowded mall because other neighboring malls have better stores - which gives me an advantage to score some items available. Recently I scored Air Jordan 1's here to match my 49er fits. Usually my size is not available. It is still a teenie bopper hangout or a family hangout. Do avoid holiday weekends such as thanksgiving weekend, Or else pay the price of getting trampled by Lolos and Lolas hustling to get a deal!!!!!
google avatar

Theresa L.

Yelp
Not bad at all for the day after x*mas. Did a lot of window shopping more than anything but, I did happen to score some super cool super spar-ka-lee nail polish and knocked out the target run as well. It's A-Ok to me, will go back .

Yelp
I got a Subaru Crosstrek here. We talked to Steven Wu on the phone and he was very patient on every questions. He also very knowledgeable about the features of the car. He reached out to us to make sure everything is good. We are very happy with the experience with Steven and with our car too.

Yelp
This place is a huge complex with a large variety of stores, but it was insanely hard to find parking and super packed with people on a windy and rainy Saturday afternoon! I was definitely expecting a smaller crowd due to the wind and rain! We ended up window shopping and admiring the Christmas decorations as nothing was of particular interest to us.

Yelp
Decent mall, urban stores, good food court. They have many clothing and shoe stores, including True Religion and Hidden Hype. This is a very good mall for teens and young adults.

Yelp
Serramonte Center is an okay mall. The food court has definitely improved over the years. Overall I think the mall is a decent mall. Just wish the directories were placed in more locations. Or better yet, and app (Android and IOS) with an interactive floor map and directory like some other malls have. The other maps I have used also have links to store web sites as well as the store specials and discounts. Even with an app propping up the mall experience I really get the feeling Serramonte is on the knife or going better, or going much worse. Unless they get some kind of differentiation and personality other than the turtle pond. Who would love to see a dollar theater open up in this mall? Or some other kind of event place? I would. The activity area would help to define Serramonte as more than just a strip mall with a roof.

Yelp
Serramonte is a solid mall, and with the addition of the Target ('tho there's another one located at the lower shopping area too, where the old Gemco used to be). It's a standard mall with all of the typical chain retailers, and only one specialty boutique, The Giants Dugout, which I know of to be something you don't find outside of SF/Bay Area and isn't that common. It's a bit more urban, but still somewhat family friendly however has its share of kids and teens, and frequented more by the local Filipino community, thus the Little Manila moniker It's an indoor mall with a decent amount of parking. The food court is okay. As a mall, it's on par with Tanforan and Stonestown, both within 20 minutes of Serramonte. It's pretty much a no-frills mall by design and decor, and hasn't really changed in the last 30 years much.

Yelp
Endless selection of sweat pants, small selection of fitness gear. Sparsely staffed so you are on your own. Good luck getting help with shoes.

Yelp
I probably would never come here again. Came on a Saturday and they had a tiny farmer's market in the parking lot which was kinda cool. Not too many shops and nothing really stand out here. I went to Daiso, Uniqlo and the Disney Store and that's pretty much it. Just go to Westfield in SF and don't waste your time here.

Yelp
Scareamonte, while admittedly not the best mall, is clearly better than: 1. A flea infested dog. 2. Traffic in Manila 3. An elevator ride with a drunk 4. Holding flatulence in church. At a funeral service. While you're seated in the front pew. It is, however, worse than: 1. Mayo sold in clear plastic bags. In an open air market. In a 3rd world country. 2. Daly City weather in the summer. 3. You've just come from the gym and you run into your ex and his/her new SO. 4. Los Angeles Now that I think about it, Scareamonte is probably at par with all of the above.
