The bread was really good ,soft inside, a nice crust outside, and it felt homemade (which is always a win). For the protein, I went all in: chicken breast, thighs, and sausage. They were well-seasoned, and the homemade sauce tied them together nicely. The toppings, though, were pretty basic ...salad, tomatoes, coleslaw, and more of that homemade sauce. They tasted good, but nothing that really stood out. During summer it's way too hot to eat inside . Overall 8/10

ROMADOS IS BETTER(8$ Bigger Sandwich). 12$ For tiny Sandwich 🥪They keep your change and Very Rude Sometimes. The old guy with grey hair told there are no wings meanwhile there’s plenty of it.

Serrano Bar-B-Q has been a Mile End institution for 40 years, and for good reason. They are best-known for their roasted chicken sandwiches, but the sausage sandwich and the roasted pork ribs/belly are my personal favorites. The food isn't fancy or trendy, but it's delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff are very welcoming. If that sounds good to you, then I highly suggest stopping by!

This place is really great! I’ve had both the chicken breast and thigh sandwiches, and neither were dry. Definitely get it all dressed, it helps to cut through the heaviness of all the meat and bread. I recommend asking for the (demi-glace?) sauce they have for the chicken. Their prices are amazing, especially for the area. The sausage sandwich is also super great. Obviously not too many options for vegetarians, but they do offer a sandwich made with their roast potatoes- however, I think the potatoes might be cooked in chicken fat.

The best sandwich of your life! they serve chicken OR pork sandwiches. They prepare it like - pollo a la barbacoa - Peruvian style. A must try in the Mile end.

just what you expect, could be slightly dry to some with the amount of chicken for the breast chicken they put in but can’t complain because it’s filling and satisfying. recommend putting all toppings with mayo and hot sauce. make sure to get the sauce on your chicken,

This is the best chicken sandwich !! I have been coming back every year for the last 7 years and I always come back to Serrano for some potatoes and a chicken sandwich. Amazing

It was my first time here after hearing for years from my husband how good it is. Definitely wasn't disappointed. Had their standard chicken sandwich. It was very good, overfilled with chicken. I was only able to eat half, and kept the rest for later. Next time I'll try the potatoes. When we went, there was no lineup, but I've heard there are lineups at lunchtime (pre-COVID, not sure how it is now). I will definitely go back when I'm in the area!
