Nashville’s 15 Most Underrated Restaurants | Eater Nashville

"Nashville’s southern suburbs house some excellent dining options outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. Serrato’s stacks right up there with the best of them. The Franklin location opened in 2021, and its growing popularity has fueled a second location soon to open in Brentwood. Enjoy a hand-cut steak or spring for surf and turf, either of which pairs well with Serrato’s Midtown Manhattan." - Kellie Walton

The Fillet mignon with the stuffed crab and shrimp was a mouth watering culinary delight, the flavors exquisite, sending my taste buds into a realm of dancing. I never knew Mac and Cheese could taste divine. Their sourdough bread one for the Gods. The chocolate flour less tort made me want to lick the plate. Their service top notch and the atmosphere calming and alluring.

Oh my goodness!! The filet was perfectly cooked, and the rosemary garlic butter was the divine. We shared a truffle mac-n-cheese....YUMMY! The desserts were delightful and the best way to end this divine meal!

Google
I know steakhouse is in the name but please don't deny the pork chop. One the best I've had for sure. Cooked to perfection which is very hard to do with such a thick cut. The candied bacon on top was phenomenal. Crab bisque before my entree was exceptional with very healthy chunks of real crab (even the side charred garlic bread was perfectly prepared). The double shrimp cocktail w ceviche was delicious. My wife's salmon was also fantastic and wonderfully prepared. The attention to detail with every dish was apparent both in presentation and flavor. Kudos to the chef(s)! Service was also fantastic. Never had to ask for anything as our server was attentive. We found our new favorite restaurant. If you haven't ate here yet, you're missing out!

Google
Serrato’s in Franklin did not disappoint! 🥩 We had the steak, mac & cheese, Brussels sprouts, and mashed potatoes—and every bite was incredible. The steak was tender, sides were flavorful, and the atmosphere made it perfect for date night. Definitely adding this to our go-to spots! 🍽️

Google
We have eaten at Serrato’s more times than I can count because we love the place. The food is fantastic - we’ve never had a bad meal. They have the best truffle Mac and cheese in town (better than Bourbon Steak) and their steak salad is the best I’ve ever had. Prices are reasonable, service is good. I recently learned that they’re big supporters of My Friends House, too (an amazing nonprofit). Knowing that this local business is actively involved in our community makes me love eating there even more. Tip: go on a weeknight if you don’t want to wait for a table

Google
My boyfriend and I went here for a date and they were able to accommodate my vegetarian eating habit. It was amazing what they were able to make! Pic below. It was delicious. I ate it all lol

Google
We recently celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday at this wonderful restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The filet was absolutely amazing—cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. Every single one of us was delighted with our meals, and the service was outstanding. Our server was attentive and friendly, making the celebration even more special. To top it all off, the dessert was out of this world—an incredible end to a fantastic meal. We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience! Highly recommend.

Google
Visiting from Florida, had dinner at Serratos’s with our friends who currently live in Fairview. Had an amazing experience. Food was delicious…steaks were perfect . Everything we ordered was outstanding. Service was excellent, Rachel was our waitress. She was friendly, attentive and pleasant. Not a long wait for the food or cocktails. I definitely recommend it and if ever in town again, we will for sure eat there.

Yelp
Found this place with rave reviews on Yelp and I had to give it a try. It's always encouraging when the owner respond to reviews. To me that shows a level of humility and a willingness to make improvements. The place is very welcoming and ok for casual dining or for a dressier occassion. I sat at the bar and I started with a Gerst Yazoo draft to drink with a bowl of crab bisque soup. The crab bisque was thick with an incredible taste and was complimented by the house made garlic bread. Great start to my meal. For an entree I ordered Chicken Piccata with mash potatoes. I ordered a side of garlic mushrooms and a half order of the house garlic bread. The garlic shrooms made for an excellent side with the mash and chicken piccata. What a meal and the bartender provided excellent service. Even swapped tv for the hockey game as requested. Highly recommend this gem for anyone near Franklin. Thanks!

Yelp
If you haven't tried Serrato's Steakhouse - it's a hidden gem! It opened about a year ago and has delicious food, great service, and ambience and best of all, it's not packed! We saw the reviews and tried it for our anniversary dinner in June, and it was a great choice! Great steaks, crab bisque sensational & crème brûlée was so creamy. Went back again with the whole fam & perfect again. So accommodating. Jackie is a lovely manager & Julien was our waiter twice now. He's sweetest guy & right there if you need anything l.My new fav place! (Gave 5 star) I left my first review above. Been there a few more times & have to say it has gotten progressively worse. First, if you don't have a reservation they treat you like you have the plague. It was a Monday night, they were almost totally empty.! Please get a better attitude! Say something like "no problem we have plenty of tables!" Unfortunately that's not the way they act. This happened to my daughter too - at 3pm they had a large group after a basketball game. There was one table of people & the hostess told them they should have called first (not in a nice way). So on Monday we ordered the fish special & half of it was so undercooked that it was transparent & you couldn't cut it. Left half and showed the waiter and he offered no apology or credit. This was about $35 meal. (I heard that chef can't cook fish very well and isn't allowed to use a thermometer) What a shame, otherwise it would have been a good meal. I had steak sandwich and it was supposed to come with some type of sauce and it was just steak cheese, and some peppers, no sauce I had to ask for it. The sauce definitely added flavor. Not going back.

Yelp
Stepping into this steakhouse was like stumbling upon a culinary wonderland, and truth be told, I hesitated to share this hidden gem because it's just that special. From the warm welcome of Jose, the owner and head chef, whose heart for his clients is as impressive as his culinary prowess, to the impeccable service delivered by Dennis. Each course was a symphony of flavors, plated with an artistic touch that made us almost hesitant to dig in - almost. The quality and caliber of ingredients used in every dish speak volumes about the dedication to excellence. This isn't just a meal; it's a journey through Tennessee's finest flavors. Consider us forever loyal patrons after this extraordinary experience. Trust me, this is a must-try spot that you'll want to keep to yourself, but the world deserves to know about this hidden gem. Cheers to Jose, Dennis, and the entire team for creating one of the best experiences in all of Tennessee!

Yelp
Tucked away in a strip mall setting is this owned restaurant. Definitely recommend reservations. I started with a maple old fashion, and it did not disappoint with the flavor of maple in each sip. I had the daily special, which was the featured steak on garlic mashed potatoes. You didn't need a knife to cut the steak it was so tender. The mashed potatoes were awesome and had a lobster sauce on it. Highly recommend this place, and Dennis did a fantastic job of taking care of us.

Yelp
This was my first time to try this place for lunch. The food was delicious. The ambiance was clean, crisp and very inviting. As soon as you walk in, you feel welcomed. Our service was very good. They do have a full bar. There is plenty of parking. The price point is above moderate, but you pay a little more for fresh ingredients. We are definitely going back when we are in the area.

Scott P.

Yelp
Service was outstanding. Food was good- lobsters could have been cooked just a bit more but steaks and fish special were cooked to perfection.

Yelp
I was actually surprised that this place was decent for this area. We had the crispy calamari and shrimp. We both had steaks and they were cooked to our liking. The roasted Brussel sprouts were just okay...a little too chewy for me and we have had better at other similar restaurants. Asparagus was also just okay. Steaks and appetizers were great but sides could have been much better. Wine list pretty good too and atmosphere / service was very pleasant also.

Yelp
Serrato's is on the corner of strip shopping in the parking lot of a Kroger. That location is forgotten the moment you walk in the door. It's a cozy, warm, very attractive, nicely designed space. It's a nice touch that you can specify table or booth (or patio) when making a reservation, and do make a reservation, the place was hopping quite early on a Saturday evening. Love a steakhouse that has draft beers, and though their selection is small, it's well thought out local selections. Excellent. Wife and I each enjoyed a dirty martini. They were served with a layer of ice crystals floating on top, a perfect (and unusual) finishing touch to a great martini. Kudos to the pigtailed bartender who knows how to shake a mean martini. We shared a double shrimp cocktail - 4 shrimp topping a good sized scoop of shrimp ceviche. The shrimp were ok, not particularly large or memorable, and the cocktail sauce average. The ceviche had an excellent kick to it, particularly enjoyable. We ordered the app with garlic bread and it came out roaring hot and delicious. Skip the crackery toasts that come with the shrimp cocktail and get some garlic bread instead. We split a house salad, separated on two plates by the kitchen. It was fresh, with delicious jalapeno honey dressing (not at all spicy), and a good portion of greens on each plate. Ribeye steak was cooked properly, a little under seasoned (quickly rectified with a pass of salt). Wife thought her filet perfect as well. I had the mushrooms as a side. Sliced, I much prefer whole, not particularly tasty, I'd not order again. Wife loved her brussel sprouts. We saw lots of good looking burger and fry orders coming out of the kitchen, and, frankly, I can't wait for a chance to sit at the bar with a draft and order for myself. The service was impeccable. Timing was great, very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, great teamwork. All the love and support for a local business that is doing an excellent job. Very much look forward to being among the many regulars.

Yelp
You come here to eat a good meal and feel like family! The owner goes out of his way to greet you if he's working and the service is amazing. We had a sweet server, Payton, who was very attentive and made sure we had the best experience. If you go, make sure to sit in her section, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Service was very good, food was excellent, and nice restaurant overall. I would recommend reservations which are easily made online through their website.

Yelp
first time here for out fam and everyone LOVED it. Met my husbands desire to go out and eat a nice dinner, and my desire to keep it laid back and non pretentious. The food, service, hospitality were all great! Calamari, filet and lobster tail, shrimp scampi, bone in ribeye, roasted Brussels sprouts...loved it all!

Pam P.

Yelp
Came for Father's Day, nice atmosphere the staff was very pleasant our waiter was very nice. When the food came mine was very good I got the bourbon glazed pork chops, and ate my husband salad while he ate my asparagus. His steak and shrimp was sent back to be redone still came back not dead. What I can assume was the owner came and was generous to comp my husband's meal.

Yelp
Good service Good food Wonderful restaurant Everyone is alway polite, friendly and respectful Food - I order the calamari and shrimp and surf and turf ordered medium and my waitress even ask me to cut into it just to make sure it was to my liking. Only thing I did not like was I was cold but that not their fault ... I'm always cold and I was under the air conditioning- I could've moved but didn't

Don R.

Yelp
Visited on a weekend trip to Franklin. The food was excellent with the right amount of variety. Staff was attentive and friendly! I cannot wait to go back someday and try something different.

Yelp
Amazing service and good food always! Such a great place to go for dinner and drinks!

Yelp
Like many of my reviews, this will be wordy but for a reason. Yes this is about Serrato's Steak House. LOL We moved to TN in 2022 from California. We moved to Kingston, TN. Well one thing we didn't take into consideration was our bank. We bank with Chase and the closest is in Nashville (2.5 Hour drive) at least until mid 2024. So every now and then when we have larger transactions we drive down to Nashville. Since we had never seen Franklin, we decided to make a day and look around. We researched some places to eat and Serrato's popped up and we decided to try it. I am glad we did. We were there relatively early for a dinner, around 4 pm but we wanted to get an early start back. We were with my wife's elderly disabled parents one of which needs a wheelchair. Serrato's is handicap accessible and we were sat with no issues. That is always a good thing considering many restaurants we have been to are not as disabled friendly as they claim. The waitress was a young girl I believe named Maddy. She was very friendly and also knowledgeable of the menu. this is very good considering my wife is somewhat picky. My wife asked for the wine list and after some time and some back and forths, she finally picked a wine. The waitress was very accommodating and never once gave any indication of being irritated. If anything, she was more apologetic and understanding. When it came time to order the food, my In-laws are not the easiest to wait on, but Maddy was a champ and handled my mother-in-law very well. We ended talking and told her why we were down there and where we moved from. She in turn told us about where she used to live. The service experience was a perfect score. Time to move on to the food. Oh yeah, I forgot another person, i am assuming one of the owners, came over to ask how everything was going. She asked about the service and I told her everything was great. Turns out that was the mother of our waitress. Fairly certain this is a family run business. :) Ok the FOOD part. Our order was 2 Filet Mignons, 1 Alaskan Halibut, 1 African Lobster Tail with a Filet. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing the food was. I ordered the Halibut. I love Halibut and this was simply excellent, albeit a tad bit over done and probably because I asked for pan seared. But, the flavor was still unbelievable. I ordered the vegetable medley because Maddy our server said it was really good with the sauce on the fish. She was right. My wife ordered the African Lobster of which we were told it would be a little sweet. Now being from California and having Lobster from all over the west coast including Alaska Lobster and East Coast from Maine, we have never had African Lobster. She was right again. The lobster has a sweet taste to it. It was a pleasant surprise. Now the filet. I am not going to lie. It wasn't the best filet I have ever had. However, there were no complaints and it was still amazing. The filet had a nice crust and solid flavors. The only issue was that the temperature was a little off. Not a huge deal and by no means a deal breaker. I completely forgot about their crab bisque. It was I think tomato based, but super creamy and very tasty. Yum yum yum. There is much more, like the garlic bread, and the mixed cocktails. However, I will simply say, Serrato's is well worth a try and even a return visit when we go back down. Super friendly place.

Yelp
Service friendly and outstanding. Food was good. Ordered the garlic bread appetizer great texture but not much garlic flavor. Had a ribeye, cooked great just as ordered, and garlic mashed potatoes, again great. Wife had a salad, was very pleased.

Yelp
We traveled from out of town to celebrate a birthday with family. This restaurant is very small and a bit cramped. We were seated in the middle, and several wait staff ran into our chairs as they moved through. Our server was kind, helpful, and funny. He provided excellent service and gave good recommendations for their menu, as well as other things to do in the area. Drinks were ok, not well mixed for the cocktails and the wine was cheaper by the glass than by the bottle. Steaks were very good. The asparagus was huge and tough so we ended up not even eating it. One of the servers was very rude as we were waiting to be seated, telling us we couldn't block the door (but there was nowhere else to wait, and had she asked us to move we would have gladly done so).

Yelp
Great people and service. Always have great cocktails and food here. Especially the steak sandwich

Yelp
What a wonderful find! This place is tucked away in a strip mall and it is a gem! Parking is super easy, we were welcomed and seated promptly. We enjoyed some delicious, well priced wine while looking over the menu. I eat gluten free and love that there are designations on the menu about which items are ok for me. I chose a Caesar salad (no croutons) with salmon and hubby had a steak. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced, we will return
google avatar

Mari B.

Yelp
Serrato's staff and food are consistently good! We stopped in for a quick bit at the bar and did not disappoint. Their martinis are still one of the best in town! Calamari was a great choice! Also they split their house salad for us and their dressing is fantastic! I could really have that salad every day! We did try the flatbread and that was a bit underwhelming for us, I wasn't a fan. Beside the flatbread, everything else was fantastic and so was the service! Packed house (Fri night) when we went so get that reservation, if you're dining there.

Yelp
Excellent food, drinks, and service. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the experience. Highly recommend! #garlicbread #steaksandwich!!!

Yelp
Stopped in for a late lunch with my husband on a Friday afternoon. Tucked into a strip mall, this quiet restaurant was a really nice place to spend an hour. We decided to enjoy the air conditioning & were seated in a booth. The restaurant is a little darker indoors, but felt cozy. They have a limited lunch menu, but I still felt like there were plenty of options. I enjoyed my cup of crab bisque, though I do wish it was a tad warmer when it was served (please note, I chose to have this come out with the main course, not as an appetizer). The house salad was served with a delicious tangy jalapeño honey vinaigrette that wasn't spicy & really added a nice level of flavor to the salad. My husband also felt the adobo pork burger was excellent, as were the fries. I'd definitely go back to try dinner another time.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Great steak and ambiance. Over the service and the drinks. My steak was cooked to perfection and could be cut with a butter knife

Yelp
Ambiance - Nice place. Tables up the middle with booths along one wall. The booths are set for 4 but are much better suited for 2 people. The tables in the middle are much bette for parties of 4. There is a small bar with one tv (that I noticed) which had football on it. No matter how good a restaurant is, if the bathrooms are gross, I rarely return. The bathrooms at Serrato's Steakhouse are wonderful and clean. Phew! Much appreciated. Service - Our server (Christine) was a delight. Super attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. I also love it when servers have an opinion on menu items. Food - There were so many items on the menu that we wanted to try. We ended up not getting mains and instead got two appetizers (fried calamari/shrimp and a mushroom flatbread) and two salads (wedge and Caesar). The calamari/shrimp was cooked perfectly and were tender. Not overcooked which often happens with fried calamari. The flatbread was good and had fresh mushrooms. Both salads were made with fresh and snappy produce. Sadly, a good salad is hard to find in TN. ‍ Coming back again soon to explore more of the menu. Keep up the good work Serrato's!

Yelp
Tried this spot with friends. It presents as an upscale steak place located in the Target shopping center south of Franklin. Presentation of everything was quite lovely and overall a good experience. I had a salmon dish with a shrimp atop. The shrimp was actually a bit over cooked, I guess not surprising in a steak place. Friends who went steak route were very pleased.

Yelp
I'm stingy with bestowing five stars on any restaurant. And I figured there was no way I was going higher than four stars for an establishment at the end of a strip mall. Could it be that good? But as always, I give every business an equal opportunity no matter their location, because hidden gems can literally occupy any space. With a 4.5 on Yelp, a 4.8 on Open Table, and a 4.9 on Google, Serrato's is burning up the charts! However, we've been burned with countless restaurants in Franklin that aren't worth more than three stars, only to have Franklinites distribute perfect ratings like it's candy on Halloween. Would this be another letdown? The deck was stacked against them as Serrato's early acclaim gave us high expectations. And WOW, they absolutely met them! In a very modest kitchen in this unassuming establishment, Chef José Serrato and his assistants are working magic back there! After decades in the hospitality business, José opened his own restaurant in late 2021 in the old Fulin's space in Parkway Commins. And they deserve any and all accolades they receive! Coming from a family of professional chefs, I noticed that every dish was expertly prepared, and that Serrato's can hang with some of the best steakhouses in Middle Tennessee in this ultra-competitive market! What a find! Thank heavens for Yelpers who locate even the most obscure gems! The filet mignon is so tender, so perfectly prepared that it's better than any other beef within a 20-mile radius (it nearly matches the Wagyu beef at Nashville's Kayne Prime and Bourbon Steak, two of the best in the business). The crab and lobster butter on top was superb, and the scallops I added to this marvelous duo of filets were of very high quality with incredible texture and preparation. The flaky sea bass (the special of the night) and the tender airline chicken were also perfectly textured and spectacularly prepared. The charcuterie board is a fabulous starter with a great combination of meats and cheeses, and even some REALLY good olives and grapes! As a gourmet cook, one of my greatest pet peeves is that so many restaurants butcher mac and cheese. The sauce isn't right, there isn't real cheese, the quality of pasta is insufficient, or the flavor is just off. Thank heavens Serrato's executes a perfect truffle mac! The cheese is real and gooey and flavorful, the pasta shells are al dente, the truffle flavor is noticeable but not overwhelming, and the sauce is wonderful. Wow! Order that side! The fries are also amazing, perhaps cooked in duck fat for an incredible outer texture and inner tenderness. José, I am hard to impress. But you have impressed me to the max! We will return many times!

Yelp
Service, A+. Being "local", A+. Reasonable prices, A+. I so badly wanted to give this place 5-Stars, and it was pretty close. Here is the rub, and I think part fell on the kitchen, and the other was "luck of the draw" on what ribeye was selected. My son and I each got ribeye's. His was cooked perfect, and literally had no fat on. Here was the problem, I ordered mine medium/well. It was rare at best. but because it so dark in our booth, I couldn't really see this until we left/I brought it home, dark red/rare. The bigger problem, not necessarily the fault of the kitchen, was my particular ribeye was actually really fatty. Kind of disappointing to eat about 1/4 of the steak. All that said, I definitely give it another try.

Steve M.

Yelp
Really good spot tucked away in Franklin. Always accommodating and friendly with great service. Family owned steakhouse. Very nice on the inside and even offer patio dining. Great steaks and great pricing for a great quality dinner.

Pat V.

Yelp
This little hole in the wall is the best kept secret in williamson co. Service is professional and personable. And the food is world class. Not to mention the exceptional wine list.

Yelp
Great place to dine and relax. Delicious food and sweet desserts. Very friendly staff.

Yelp
We went tonight for my birthday. The service was incredible. Kaden was our waitress and she was awesome!. She describe everything perfectly, made some great suggestions, was very attentive and kept the meal flowing in a good way. The food was spot on with the service. Hands down the best steak I've had in town. Their Old Fashioned is a top tier cocktail and will rival award winning ones that I've tried. 10 for 10, would recommend. We will be back soon!
google avatar

Yelp
We had a steak, OMG, it was delicious. One of the best steaks I've had in a very long time and I eat a lot of steak. The service is really attentive, and the ambiance is nice. The prices, however, reflect the excellence :(.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
This is a nicer steakhouse vibe restaurant in a shopping strip center in front of a Kroger. Odd, I know. This is to my knowledge the third restaurant to occupy this space. We enjoyed some apps of theirs at an event awhile back, so stopped in to try them in person for a full dinner. Our reservation was for outside seating, but when we arrived five minutes early, the patio was full so we opted for inside, not a problem. Service was fine, food was fine, sorry to say I don't remember what all we enjoyed a few weeks later - but no complaints lingered in my brain so there's that.
google avatar

Cecilia P.

Yelp
The food was good, perhaps good enough to make a return visit. However, it was rather pricey. Among the dishes, the calamari stood out as my favorite. We waited at our table for 10 minutes for our water, and we were all thirsty. They brought us our cocktails before the water. When I inquired about the water, the owner seemed to roll her eyes and assured us it was coming soon, even though we were the only customers there at the time. It shouldn't take that long to bring out water. Also, it's beyond disrespectful to roll your eyes at a customer. On a positive note, our server, Jackson, was outstanding. Nevertheless, the overall service was disappointingly slow, especially given the empty establishment.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place! The staff was very friendly. Our waitress was super helpful with choosing menu items. Our food came out quickly and was very tasty. Will definitely be going back!

Yelp
Posting an update! Our party of 9 ate at Serrato's last night. We had a great experience. Our server, Gretchen, was very friendly, fun, and attentive. We had a difficult time choosing from many appealing menu items, but started with a very good Maple Ild Fashioned, and addictive garlic bread. I had "Duo" - two 4.5 oz filets with bran and lobster sauce. It was delicious. Do yourself a favor and also have the truffle Mac! So good. Brussels we're ok... I'd like them a bit crispier. But a very good experience and good food.

Yelp
Found this place on our way back from Nashville to our home near Huntsville. It was Father's Day weekend and they only had reservations so we sat at the bar. We enjoyed a couple of drinks. I had a bay breeze while hubby had a mascot mule. For dinner we both had the prime rib which was delicious. The bartender was very attentive while we sat at the bar. Food came fast and cooked to our liking. It was a little noisy but other than that I was a nice place for steak.

Yelp
Excellent food. Spouse and I had lunch at this very charming restaurant. We loved our experience.

Yelp
We live nearby and I'm embarrassed to admit we had not tried Serrato's yet. My wife and I had dinner tonight to celebrate her birthday. We had a great meal, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere is great - elegant inside but welcoming and comfortable. Every dish we saw looked very very good - we had the bbq shrimp appetizer, split a salad and I had the twin filets: my wife had the Grouper special. Definitely worth noting: not only was the food excellent, the presentation of each dish was as good as I've ever seen anywhere! Plates looked almost too beautiful to eat but we did anyway . We finished by splitting a crème brûlée and an Irish coffee. The owner even popped by our table and we had a nice conversation with him as well. What a nice guy. We will DEFINITELY go back and I highly recommend giving it a try!!!

Yelp
Great experience! We had a steak, burger, Mac n chz, Brussels, garlic bread!! and wine. Yumm! The service was friendly and atmosphere was great. We will be back!

Yelp
If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Great from the beginning to the end. Upscale restaurant in the right way. Everything we ate was delicious. Drinks, appetizers entrees and desert. The service all around was fantastic! Also, what really pushed them over the edge... I got a phone call from them when we left. Sir, you left your card here and you can come get it at your convenience. Will happily come back :)

Yelp
Impeccable service. I wanted to take my man out for a fancy dinner but I still have bills to pay (living anywherev within 1 hour of Nashville is ridiculously expensive). I researched best steakhouses and found this gem. The reviews sparked my curiosity so we made the drive from MJ to Franklin. We arrived at a small, inconspicuous place in a shipping center. I had made reservations for two. They looked at us and seen we were overwhelmed by the crowd and immediately offered a table outside where no one was. It wasn't too chilly and they had a fire table and propane heater. They even turned it up and scooted it closer to us. The staff was the most attentive staff I've ever had. They ensured it was as fancy as possible and treated as if we were high-profile guests. I mean the staff was even more kind than Flemming's (which were also incredible but very spendy). The manager, who was well-dressed in a suit and tie, checked on us more than once.

Yelp
Omg, one of the best steaks, if not, the best I ever put in my mouth... I've eaten at a lot of steakhouses, and this one will definitely be my go-to in Franklin... I ordered the hand-cut Ribeye MR, and it was cooked to perfection... No need for any steak sauce because it had such a delectable flavor... It came with one side, so I chose the house salad with jalapeño honey vinaigrette... Oh my, it was so good... I will return, just to order that, on a day that I'm not wanting a huge meal...My husband & I shared the shrimp fondue as an appetizer, and it was so good, we'll order it every time we come... The lemon cream cake topped off the meal in all its yumminess... I highly recommend anything on the menu at Serrato's, from drinks to appetizer, entrees, and deserts!

Yelp
2 Medium well steaks was the order. One was well done no pink or hint of pink. The other was medium rare. At 50 dollars a cut I should not have to point this out. Good luck on medium well order.

Yelp
Fantastic service at the bar, every darn thing was amazing. Really I'd eat it all again. The steak n lobster were sooooo tender and perfectly cooked. The flavors and textures were spot on.

Yelp
First time at Serrato's and all in our part we're pleased Menu has diverse choices and beyond steak there are several dishes that were appealing. Pork chops were excellent My wife was disappointed that there is no baked potato on the menu but the garlic mashed were very good. Someone in our party has the pearled couscous flavored with turmeric we're not a good choice FYI salads are huge. We split one and it was excellent. House dressing is a bit hot with jalapeño flavor Parker was our server and was excellent The restaurant is not large and was very comfortable

Yelp
If you're looking for perfectly seasoned food then come check them out. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the truffle pasta is a must! The drinks were also delicious in particular the maple old fashioned made me think of Christmas the sweet maple syrup complimented the whiskey so well. Come any time, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion. Our server and the entire staff at the restaurant was so attentive and polite. It was definitely worth the drive from Nashville! We will be back
