A perfect hole-in-the-wall type of burger join 👍🏻👍🏻 Pros: -burger patties and the dill pickles 🤌🏻 -Options for sliders instead of whole, as well as so many different meat options -Fries have delicious seasoning! -Parking was plenty and good Cons: homeless man lounging out in their patio area with his stuff on the tables and music blasting and Flies kept landing on our food indoors 🙂‍↔️

Google
Literally the best place to go for a burger. This hole in the wall restaurant has a flavor portfolio out of this world, Rachael was amazing and the bourbon pecan milkshake was such a fun experience

Google
So much more than just burgers! What a find this place was. They offer sandwiches, salads and create your own milkshakes. I can honestly say the best onion rings I have ever tasted. Thick, beer batter dipped, crispy and flavorful. We ordered the club sandwich with onions rings and a burger with fries. Though the onion ring order is only 3, they are massive.

Good delicious burger, a good spent for lunch. Portion size quite reasonable with the price, good service, spacious, looks OK for family or group seating.

Google
The restaurant was easy to find, parking was aplenty and close to the entrance. I loved the physical appearance, very inviting and friendly, there was a cute patio with plenty of outside seating - in AND out of the shade for your preference. Inside was cool - but not cold and that was a bonus because we had just walked around down town viewing an event so we were pretty hot. Once inside the music was loud enough to hear but not loud enough to drown out any conversation you might want to have. Very family friendly with larger tables for those with multiple diners as well as high chairs for young children and smaller tables for a party of two as well. The bathroom was well kept, clean and smelled great. The tables were clean, we were seated right away with menus and drinks. The menu was easily read, plenty of options and variety! The prices were very reasonable for a lunch or a fun dinner. We didn't have to wait long for our food, it was phenomenal, the favors were just great, everything was cooked amazingly!! I even ordered a to go box for a friend to try.... the reason I am giving two stars is due to the wait staff.... it was probably one of the rudest wait staff I've ever encountered and my husband and I have tried upwards of 75% of Charleston's and the surrounding cities restaurants. NY daughter is 15 months old, she is a loud toddler, she says "Hi" pretty loudly to everyone she sees, she is super friendly and she wants to babble to everyone including us, her parents, and we encourage it. She has a very big personality, she's aggressive and energetic. The staff (specifically the two blonde women) were annoyed by this immediately. 😒 The first thing my daughter did was accidentally knock a cup of soda over, this is the first time in all of the restaurants she's ever been to that she has done this. My husband and I immediately backed away so we didn't get splashed and wet, they were annoyed that we didn't immediately start cleaning it up and gave us dirty looks without saying anything to us at all, we were apologizing every couple seconds for it, my husband and I both were helping to clean it up even though my husband was also holding our toddler, the whole time neither of them said anything at all to us, just came over and haphazardly cleaned the mess up. The table was left with soda still spilled on half of it,my husbamd had to ask if it could be wiped down again because we wouldn't have been able to eat on that table with it the way it was. They didn't say anything in response, just came up and wiped it down. The whole experience we had there they never smiled once, no eye contact and VERY little interaction, very monotone almost an attitude really. My daughter said "HI" several times and they refused to acknowledge there was a little human with us. All in all, I would eat here again for the food, it was that great but the service was the worst

Google
we love this place! great vegetarian options, can’t go wrong with the black bean burger and sweet potato fries. the service is great, too. my family and i are covid-conscious and our amazing server, AB, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in the space. it was totally unexpected, out of the norm, and a breath of fresh air. we will be making it a point to come back more! we love you sesame and AB!

Google
We have been excited to try this restaurant. The service was very good and it was not too crowded like everything else in North Charleston. My wife had a wrap and enjoyed it. I got the burger with an egg on it. It could have been good but the egg was already broken leaving the bottom bun soggy 😮‍💨. And then I ordered medium well and it came out medium rare. I actually did not even eat but half due to this. We are not ones to complain but I do give very unbiased reviews. I think this place has a lot of potential and I am chalking up my burger as a mistake. Maybe try them out.

Regina L.

Google
This restaurant is a hidden gem! It’s always spotless, the service is warm and attentive, and the food—especially the nachos—is out of this world. I typically opt for beef nachos when I go out, but Sesame’s chicken nachos completely won me over. The juicy chicken, flavorful sauce, and perfectly balanced toppings create a combo that makes my taste buds sing. The burgers are solid, too, but let’s be real—once you try the nachos, there’s no turning back. They’re hands down the best I’ve ever had. I keep coming back for them, and I’m never disappointed.

Yelp
Parking isn't the best, but we were lucky enough to find a spot. Once we got inside, we were seated right away and greeted by a friendly waiter who made us feel welcome. The atmosphere and decor were warm and inviting. I loved it! I ordered a burger that was so good I literally dreamed about it that night. I even wanted to go back the next day for another one! My company wasn't as impressed, but honestly, I think they just ordered the wrong thing. This place is clearly all about the burgers, and that's what you should go for! The shakes were delicious too... creamy, flavorful, and the perfect match with the burger. If you're ever in Charleston, SC, do yourself a favor and stop by Burger Delicioso. It's worth the visit!

Yelp
Came here with my two younger kids, my daughter is a big burger fan. We started with the fried pickles which were outstanding. They clearly used a craft pickle and the breading was fresh and poofy, these weren't from a bag and reheated. The ranch dressing was good too. I had the hangover burger and it was a real treat. Patty was thick, cooked medium rare as requested, the smoked bacon flavor truly shined through which I loved, usually bacon is just more calories and nothing more than extra salty flavor. I am usually really cautious about burgers like this, because fancy burger places tend to overdo it and make these monstrosity burgers that you can barely fit into your mouth. Sesame Burger rode the line perfectly, giving me a thick patty and lots of stuff on top but not so much that none of the flavors were distinct or the burger was "too much". The onion rings were fantastic but huge and I just didn't have room for more than a few bites. Really happy with the meal I had here. My server was totally fine and very friendly. Place is like a typical burger and beer bar on the inside and actually has ample parking, unlike many other places on Spruill Avenue. J.Ja

Yelp
This was my first time trying out Sesame Burgers. I was very pleased. I came for lunch midweek and it was not crowded and the service was very quick. I was seated at one of the tables right near the entry so there was a lot happening around me. The music was good. My server was new but very attentive and she made sure to find out the answers to any questions that I had, if she didn't know already. Since I had never been here before, I liked the option to try different burger styles in a slider size. I had the Napa burger and I was very pleased. It had fig and bacon jam, red wine reduction and blue cheese. Also I tried the Patty Melt - it had just enough beer mustard. I also had the southwest and it was also good. Corn, black beans, jalapeños (not spicy) and cheese. I think they might used a larger grain salt to season the burgers with. It gives it a really nice flavor. And the burgers were juicy. I would have liked to have a better idea of the size of the burger to know what I would like to get. And it would be nice to have a side included with the burger, instead of having an up charge to get a full meal. But on the whole I was pleased with everything. I think I would commit to a full sized of either the Napa or the patty melt. And I would like to come back and try more of the options here.

Yelp
Great place! Had an awesome lunch with my son and husband. My family knows I love a good patty melt. My husband had eaten here once and said you've gotta try their patty melt. So I finally made it in and he was right! This is one of two of my favorite patty melts! Melts in your mouth... yeah and my son said everything else is good too as he's sampled a plenty there... good drinks... great, friendly, quick service. Awesome casual experience that I hope to come back too!

Yelp
$8.00 burger night. What a deal. Courtney was Most Excellent! Always checking on to make we were enjoying our meal. I had clam chowder and onion rings to make my buger salad complete. Perfect. Parking available but tight because they were very crowded. A little loud. But It was worth the wait.
google avatar

Cindy S.

Yelp
I brought my grandchildren here for lunch and it was great! Food was delicious. I had the blackened mahi tacos that were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Grandkids both had the mini cheeseburger slider and fries and they really loved it! Service was great too. Friendly and professional! It's a cute little pub atmosphere. Very comfortable!
google avatar

Krystal G.

Yelp
The variety for different types of food variations is nice. Some of the concoctions are tasty. I really like the ability to try the different burgers by way of slider! Service is pretty good, staff is friendly. Usually always busy here. Atmosphere is good. Outdoor & indoor seating. Eaten here a couple of times.
google avatar

Lonnie J.

Yelp
I was in the area with a group of coworkers and decided to stop here for lunch. I'm so glad we did! The service was great and the food was phenomenal. The inside was decorated well with an outdoor tables in the front. Even though they were pretty busy and there were 6 of us, we did not have to wait long for our food. I would say the fries were a bit underdone for my taste, however but that's a personal preference. I could have done with a softer inside with a crispier outside. The adult shake and burger more than made up for it. I was able to take half my burger with me in a to go box and was just as delicious the second day. I live about 2 hours away but want to come back up just to try more items!

Yelp
Easy parking, fast and friendly service. Cute little dive burger place with a full bar and adult milkshakes. Tuesday night 8.00 hamburgers night. They offer a variety of different hamburgers, toppings and buns. They also serve salads for those who are watching what they eat. Very filling for a great price. Not the best burger I have ever had but not the worst. Could have had a little more flavor. I was not a fan of the homemade pickles. They had a bit of spiciness to them. The adult milkshake are really delicious and worth the $12.00. Overall I did enjoy the meal and definitely went home with a satisfied fans Full belly. I would recommend you to give it a try.

Our server A.B. was so sweet and very efficient. The restaurant was worn but clean. I always check bathrooms and their bathroom was clean and I love the decor.

Yelp
Love Sesame!! Our evening had great service and hospitality by Erin too!! So friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I've been to Sesame before but never got around to writing a review so let it be known if you're either in a position to go with the flow or choose your own burger adventure, this spot provides the answer. I got the Hangover burger bc I'm a sucker for egg, bacon, and ham but chose the black bean burger to which was thick and filling!! My bae got I wanna say the patty melt!? 'Twas very tasty with the beef patty! Juicy and satisfying!! When I saw milkshakes on the menu my heart went for the classic strawberry with whipped cream on top - I downed that thing like I've never seen a milkshake before in my life lol it was that toothsome!! As Kelis once said: my milkshake brings all the boys to ~yard and they're like~ it's betta than yours I can teach u, but I haz to charge..la la la la laaaa

Yelp
We did a takeout order and it was on time and hot when we picked it up. Husband said the staff was very friendly too! We had a couple of the sliders so we could try four different kinds. I had the mushroom burger and the down south burger with sweet potato fries. It tasted pretty good overall. The burger seemed to be on the dryer side with not enough sauce (but I personally love a lot of sauce) but still good. My husband had the cowboy burger and hangover burger as sliders and he devoured his. He said the cowboy burger was indeed spicy but he still enjoyed his. The sweet potato fries and the regular fries were very tasty. My kids had the chicken tenders which were very good and they enjoyed them as well. It was a great place we definitely recommend it if you're by the park!

Yelp
Came out to eat with my family and we had a wonderful time. I'm gluten free and their menu does offer a decent number of GF items. We ended up getting the wings as our appetizer and they were delicious. For main entree we got burgers with a GF bun. I've been here before and loved the gluten free bun, but this time is crumbled and fell apart on me. I'm not sure what was going on but the bun was not that good. Also at our table we had 3 burgers all ordered to the same temp and some came out under cooked while others were overcooked. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us this evening. The ambiance was wonderful and we had a great time.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Looking for a restaurant to please a crowd and with Gluten Free Options? This is the place! We were a large group and were able to enjoy a table in the refreshing outdoors and enjoy an excellent (varied) meal as the sun set. My huge salad was great and the waiter was able to keep up with all the orders - with a smile on his face!
google avatar

Yelp
What an amazing burger! I loved this spot in Park Circle. The Napa Valley burger was excellent. I ordered mine without lettuce. The jam and blue cheese combo was out of this world. My friend loved their turkey burger. She said it was juicy and so happy because they tend to get dry (she said). Her pecans were a welcome addition to the side salad. Emily was an excellent waitress. Very friendly and offered her expertise on the menu. There is a private parking lot. Bar seating as well as tables. Music was coming from the speakers so there was background noise but nothing too loud.
google avatar

Ted K.

Yelp
Overall sesame burgers is a good local spot to grab a bite to eat. They have a different patty options: beef, chicken, turkey, or black bean. They have gluten free buns available for an extra charge. The milkshakes are delicious though a bit pricey. Both the regular and sweet potato fries are solid side options. Overall it's a relaxed place, generally pretty quiet, with friendly service and good food.
google avatar

Teresa F.

Yelp
When we want a fun casual night out this Park Circle spot is always a winner. Fair prices, good local products, friendly service and both gluten-free or vegetarian options. Hubby can get a bacon burger and onion rings while mom can enjoy a salad and glass of wine. Kids have a menu while tweens can get creative with sides and sliders. We always we leave happy. All dressings are made in house too! Fried pickles are large spears and a unique and tasty spin on this southern classic.
google avatar

Julia R.

Yelp
Sent it the North Charleston Sesame for the first time yesterday. We came with kids and we had the best experience. The special hush puppies (poblano pepper) were out of this world good. I had the chicken chili with grilled cheese. The grilled cheese had more cheese than I like, but it was good. The kids meals offered big portions (chicken quesadilla and chicken tenders) our server was super patient with the kids and we all left happy. I will definitely return to this location!
google avatar

Jeremy W.

Yelp
Fantastic!! We went here because we were craving some BURGER! We each had some Burger, except for Sawyer Murphy , who had chicken tenders and fries. We then had milkshakes. They were good! Our sever was very nice, got our food quick, and the place looked pleasing to look at!! 10:10 would come AGAIN!!!!!

Lois H.

Yelp
Excellent food. Great service. We love their onion rings!! Sad that West Ashley closed
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
Casual setting, almost a diner set up with dimmer lighting. Bar seating and table seating. Kids menu, High chairs available and baby changing table in bathroom making it family friendly. I got the black bean burger on the Brie and apple salad with a side of sweet potato fries with Parmesan cheese. The burger was large and crumbling which made me think it was definitely made on site and not store bought. Salad was great, nice crisp apple and they did not skimp on Brie slices. My husband had a regular hamburger that he said was great and my son was happy with his chicken fingers and fries. My husband tasted the chicken and said it was actually delicious quality chicken, definitely not frozen nuggets. The sweet potato fries were outstanding, I didn't try the regular fries but they were HUGE. Lots of local beers available. I had the local Tradesman Hazy IPA and it was fantastic. Over all a nice spot, dated with some dents in the walls and ripped seats but good food. They have a parking lot!!!
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
The chicken sandwich - the down south- was so good! The service was great. It's a dive-vibes spot with good parking.
google avatar

Northern Dork X.

Yelp
This place has a peanut butter and banana burger with bacon on it! It's unreal! The waitress was brand new and did an amazing job! One thing I'd say that would have made this 5 stars would be to not only offer your happy hour appetizers during that time. They should be available at regular prices off-hours.
google avatar

Christian C.

Yelp
Came here with some friends on a Saturday for lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal. I got the Napa valley burger with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger was cooked well and the fries came out hot. Definitely want to come back to try the other burgers. Only complaint was that the service was pretty slow.
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
Great place to sit with friends and enjoy a burger. My friend and I stopped by for lunch on Easter weekend. I had their cowboy burger and sweet potato fries, which was absolutely delicious. The burger names are also intriguing and whimsical. Meal size portions are appropriate for the price. Great service. We will go again!
google avatar

Frankye J.

Yelp
I like this place because everything is freshly cooked and served. So today I had a chicken wrap with a side salad and Gingerale. My best friend had a hamburger fries and a drink. The total was over$40. We were not happy about the 3% surcharge if you use a credit card.
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
The new fries are terrible! Bring back the steak fries! You can't be a good burger spot with terrible fries and these new fries are ass!
google avatar

Emilee P.

Yelp
Food was amazing and service was fast. Nice spot in park circle for a casual meal and drinks!
google avatar

Henry J M.

Yelp
Their Hangover Hamburger & Milk Shake. Easy to get plenty of parking at least the times I went. ‍

Shyra P.

Yelp
Burger and onion rings were amazing server was super sweet. Cute little spot for a great burger or milkshake
google avatar

James W.

Yelp
This is our go to spot for nachos. They are loaded with delicious meat, cheese and sauce with the perfect ratio to chip and topping. Unfortunately, the cuban was a little lacking in flavor and when we ordered it, the meats were on separate sides like two different sandwiches which is easy to remedy, but details matter. The homemade pickles were delicious, but missing the punch that the cuban needed. Are servers there have always been kind and welcoming. The restaurant has a rustic and layback vibe, but punctual and we haven't had to wait super long when we been.
google avatar

Kara W.

Yelp
I know this is a burger place (and I love that the beef is 100% grass fed) but don't sleep on the pulled pork nachos! They are so so delicious. There is the perfect amount of sauce to toppings so you don't end up with a bunch of plain chips at the bottom. We've ordered this on 2 different occasions and it was amazing both times. In general their pulled pork is very good. We ordered the Cuban and it was ok. The pulled pork was very good on it and the pickles are nice and fresh since they are made in house. The staff was friendly and the wait time for getting our good was typical.

Yelp
t's a win. Great combo of awesome food and drink selection. Went on a Friday night, got there a little early before the crowd, and was glad we did, because this place started to get packed. Understandably so though, they do make some mean burgers, which is exactly what I was craving. Of course, I couldn't decide so I went with the sliders deal where you can pick 3..great way to try a few different things and still have a great meal. I went with the South Carolina (awesome, slightly spicy pimento cheese, probably my favorite), the Napa Valley (really good combo of ingredients that went well with some delicious beef), and the Gourmet (my least favorite of the 3, but not bad at all). What impressed me the most was that I asked for Med. Rare, and even though they are fairly small sliders, that's how they came, compliments to the grill cook. Sweet potato fries and hush puppies were also on point. Delicious. The beer selection is great. Lots of local and craft brews. Went with a delicious pumpkin-flavored ale since it's about that time of the year. They also have liquor milkshakes, may have to try one of those next time, which there will be for sure.
google avatar

Ralph F.

Yelp
OMG probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. I had the Brunch burger with onion rings. The onion rings were amazing definitely would go back.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
Very tasty burger and fries. I had a strawberry milkshake too and that was delish. Finished every bit of my meal!
google avatar

Annabelle K.

Yelp
Absolutely stellar! A great selection of combinations that felt unique, great spins on classic burgers. Service was great for a casual restaurant.
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
We stopped in on our way from the airport to Isle of Palms. It was a bit out of the way but definitely worth it! We sat at the bar and the service was excellent. The bartender was attentive and efficient without making us feel rushed. The food arrived quickly and was good. The burger was so hot, it was steaming when I bit in. The fries were hot, crispy and seasoned well. I would definitely recommend stopping at Sesame Burgers for a great burger.
google avatar

Alexandra D.

Yelp
THIS is the burger & milkshake spot. With locations in both Park Circle and Mt. Pleasant, Sesame is serving up beef/elk/chicken/turkey/black bean burgers and sandwiches, plus salads, wraps and hearty sides. (Check out those huge onion rings!) Don't forget to check out the desserts including adult milkshakes! Friendly service, casual spot, indoor and outdoor dining.

Lori G.

Yelp
just fantastic! The young lady running bar was attentive (even with the phone ringing endlessly). burger was great! highly recommend!
google avatar

Jeff H.

Yelp
I've been eating here off and on since 2012 and they provide a delicious menu that's local, sustainable, and offering choice meats like elk. That's my go-to burger there and it's been amazing every time with various toppings to change it up. They're consistently delicious, but the service can get backed up because of location and popularity. However, if you've not been, I recommend checking em out.
google avatar

Aida C.

Yelp
Great burgers, huge beer selection and great quality food. Just know there's no Apple Pay and fries are separate. Despite that I will definitely be back for an adult milkshake and a Patty Melt!
google avatar

Torwah N.

Yelp
Awesome burger spot in North Charleston. The outdoor vibes when it's 80 degrees hits differently since moving from Chicago. I've had the turkey burgers and regular burgers, and both are excellent. Old fashioned drink was 7/10 solid.
google avatar

Gee L.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Our waitress was super polite and checked on us throughout the meal. I got the Swiss mushroom burger and cocktail. Bathroom was clean and place was as well. Definitely would visit again
google avatar

Kayla P.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Lord of burger options for all. I had the crab cake Sammie and it was delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. We were seated right away. The location is well lit and though the tables are a smidge close it is not crowded.
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
If your wanting a burger look no further. The options are endless at Sesame. They have signature burgers which you can do it with beef, elk, chicken, turkey, or black bean. I did the beef and added Brie and Bacon. I love Brie and was excited to be able to add that to my burger! You pick your bun and toppings as well. The cheese curds were a great starter! Definitely recommend those! Tons of local brews to choose from as well as a full bar. I even saw boozy milkshakes on the menu but I was stuffed!
google avatar

Shelli Q.

Yelp
Consistently good food. Of course, the burger choices are abundant -- some of our faves are the Memphis, Napa, and Charleston. An easy way to try new flavors is their two sliders. The side salad is delish. The greens are always fresh, and we love the addition of the toasted pecans. Their made-from-scratch dressings are yummy, but we're partial to the ranch. For the salad. And the fries. And the onion rings, which we love too. If you're not a burger person, no worries. Their other sandwiches are equally good, as are the wings. There isn't anything we've tried that we didn't love. They do have regular and adult milkshakes which always sound great but we're too stuffed to have ever tried any of them.

Ken P.

Yelp
Amazing home made cookies! Great food and service. Burgers are some of the best around.
google avatar

Ben B.

Yelp
Everything a great burger should be. Tasty ingredients, well crafted, and most importantly really messy. Extra points for providing big napkins.
google avatar

Robert T.

Yelp
A real fun place to go, great beer selection. Easy parking and clean restrooms. Good place for families and groups.
