Very Dog friendly. The covered outdoor patio had 6 dogs today. Love that they accept dogs there. The staff was attentive and friendly. They were diligent in making sure that the list of allergies I gave them was triple checked and they reassured me when delivering my food to the table. It was very much appreciated. The food and coffee was delicious. Highly recommend the Pork Belly Benedict. It was served on sourdough toast instead of English muffins which I loved.

The food was amazing! I got the steak frites for my entree. The steak was cooked to perfection and the fries were nice and crispy. The sourdough bread was very fresh and the truffle butter added a nice earthy buttery touch. The eggs were good too, but I am not a fan of caviar. The service was great but the host was a little stand offish. Not a problem as they weren't rude just noting they may not have been a talkative person. Overall I would come here again as the food, service, and overall ambiance were good. I enjoyed that we had a good amount of space between the tables around us so it didn't feel like we were on top of each other and our party could enjoy ourselves.

Very large and stylish restaurant. We had a late lunch (3pm) so the restaurant was relatively empty. We ordered a big and fried chicken breast sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed them. The fries were warm and crispy, just how we like them. Restrooms were very clean. There’s also a large bar area in the middle of the restaurant. We definitely recommend this place.

Amazing brunch place in SF. Probably one of my favorites in the city. The egg Benedict is top notch! 🍳 And the Sunday pork belly is out of this world! Highly recommend sitting outside in the patio during a warm sunny day, maybe in the September SF summer 🌁 Espresso coffee is Lavazza Italian approved ✅ And the beignets for desserts are the best ending for a merry weekend brunch! 😋 Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ May the Brunch be with you ✨

Lunch on the patio allows your fur family members. Our wait staff was attentive and friendly. Checked in us periodically giving a nice balance of uninterrupted conversation. Beautiful views of the park when you dine outside

This was the second time I went to this place and I can affirm food is consistently good; this was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Quality meat, soft caramelized onions and a great pepper mayonnaise. Drinks are amazing, specially the beer with orange. They should have a digital menu (QR) and it wold be nice if they implement a web page paying system. They don’t accept Apple pay using your cellphone so you need your give them your card number and expiration. They should accept it and have terminals, but this is a minor problem that is super easy to solve. Recommended overall.

Came for a "brunch" at 2:30pm on a Sunday. Greeted by amicable staff, plenty of seating available, and quick service. A good selection of food and wine, decided on the polenta with mushrooms and brussel sprouts as well as the the carrot and ginger soup. Both were good but the brussel sprouts were a bit too salty and interfered with the complementary taste of the dish. The hamburger beef was also a bit too salty, and chilaquiles were great. Kids menu had ample choices. The price for food quality and portions seems accurate. Great ambiance and outdoor dining experience with the exception of the frequent, abrupt barking of several dogs from patrons (didn't expect this otherwise would have preferred to be seated inside).

Came in for a late lunch after hiking around the Presidio and was pleasantly surprised with everything. The oysters had to be my favorite dish, but the beef waygyu meatballs were also very good. The staff was very friendly and fast to check on us and get refills. The cucumber cocktail was such a nice refreshing drink. Very pleasant experience, would come back again.

A great lunch spot during Fleet Week. Lots of great options on the brunch menu. Grilled sourdough bread starter was delish & was devoured. Sessions burger, fried chicken sandwich and chilaquiles were all top notch & large portions (particularly with the fries!). Only point off is for the tempo of the meal. Service & food delivery was a bit slower than it should have been. The bus staff did a good job of keeping drinks filled & plates cleared. Wait time for check was too long. $5 validated parking is nice. We'll definitely return next time we're at The Presidio.

I came here for brunch on a rainy day with one of my friends who was visiting from NYC. We didn't have reservations but we're accommodated pretty easily as this is a large restaurant with many seating areas. I had the salmon Benedict which comes with a side salad & it was pretty good. My friend had the crispy polenta cake & I had a little bite. It was delicious too. We shared warm beignets with vanilla creme anglaise for dessert. Yum! Service was warm & helpful. Street parking wasn't too bad.

Sessions at the Presidio is a great restaurant just inside the Presidio boundary with a lot going for it: creative seasonal menu, nice ambiance, covered heated patio that is dog friendly overlooking the Presidio park, and easy parking (underground). Our server was very nice and attentive, the food was very good, and the ability to let our dog join us for dinner was great.

Prices were surprisingly reasonable. I'm not a huge fan of the industrial style of the restaurant, but the surrounding grounds are lovely.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and had a very meh experience - I would probably not come back. Good: location, staff (bussers specifically), speed food came out Bad: SERVICE - waitress completely ignored us aside from taking our order, but she was super attentive to a table about 10 feet away from us the entire duration of our time at the restaurant. The bussers had to get her attention to bring us the bill and to get our card when we put it on the bill about 20 seconds after she dropped it off. Meh: FOOD - I didn't realize the chilaquiles was going to be a plate of salsa drenched chips and a couple of eggs, it was definitely disappointing. Also the patio was supposedly heated but the heat lamps were so far away you could barely feel anything so it was a bit chilly

Amazing service and food! The location is great too. They validate parking in the garage and that felt like a safe spot to park while seeing a show at the palace of fine arts.

I love this place for their food and ambiance. The location is beautiful which makes it quite the spot to dine at. We have always had wonderful servers and the menu is extensive. They can also accommodate kids with their crayons and coloring. Thank you for making our meals so memorable.

My coworker and I stopped into Sessions at the Presidio to enjoy a nice beer and some oysters after a holiday party event. We had a couple minutes to stop and enjoy ourselves, so we did. This place is really nice and situated just on the edge of the Presidio. There is indoor and outdoor seating, with a pretty nice view. We decided to sit inside at the bar. We thought that this was a brewery, but it is not. They do have a complete bar and beer/wine on tap. We ordered a couple hazy IPAs and a half dozen oysters, the champagne mignonette sauce was great with the oysters.

I thought it was very quality lunch in a beautiful location. Seating inside and outside, wonderful food and drinks menu, attentive service. My summer truffle risotto was absolutely delicious! The portions are very generous so I definitely think you get a good value for the price. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good place to meet with friends or colleagues for a nice meal and great drinks!

Yelp review - Sessions at the Presidio Sessions has the appearance of a casual dining venue. While it is clear no certain attire is required and each defined area should be considered either casual or potentially well-kept, the bar, wine list and food are exceptional in quality, therefore, not inexpensive. The staff are attentive and pleasant, however there is a sense of distance, probably, as the diners may appear causal but likely quite affluent, simply reserved, and comfortable. Sessions is a destination dining experience. No doubt from those attending when we dined, it is in various traveler review and on touring sites, as each party who entered during a weekday lunch had a starry-eyed look and feel about them. It is not lost on many who know the significance of the location as one of the most revered cinematic and gaming studios on the planet, as a former George Lucas now Disney office complex, inside the esteemed Presidio, a converted US Army base, now, the largest - and stunningly breathtaking - (Urban) National Park - The Nation. Outdoor seating, unfortunately, does not include heating: we arrived in a rather usual balmy Samuel Clemens's characterized San Francisco summer day, with a reservation for outside dining, yet, the host pivoted quickly and offered us inside options at our discretion. I suspect Sessions is a dinner option with an exciting menu; a full bar and seemingly extensive wine list - three different wineries - one in California and one each in France and Italy featuring a large medallion, hanging from the entrance wall, I have no doubt each winery is owned and operated as affiliate of Sessions' (corporate?) ownership group. One issue: the location of the restrooms is too far from the entrance. No doubt, as a feature of the architected office building in which Sessions is housed, and understanding the implications of such a request: ideally, the restrooms would be closer to the Eastern half of the restaurant: it is a long passage from the entrance to the restrooms. I feel that Sessions could become a more calibrated dining opportunity. The prices seem to be discouraging of patrons passing by for a quick bite. I don't understand the Restaurant business well enough to be declarative on this point. However: Sessions could become an action-packed sensation if it dialed down the high level menu and expansive dining opportunity. Yet, the special, intimate group opportunities could be lost to chaos and frantic staff trying to keep up with a steady flow of famished visitors: in its current rendition, Sessions represents our distinguished metropolis in a manner fitting the Presidio and all it brings to the general public. Also, quite close to Sessions, on Chestnut Street and Lombard Boulevard, many affordable and delicious dining options prevail. While parking is not entirely easy to come by, there are nearby options in short walking distance. One more thing: A short walk down the hill from Sessions is a most breathtaking cultivated park area, with water feature: as if entering an Italian villa or French chateau, from where you can take in The Golden Gate Bridge in the near distance.

First of all I felt the atmosphere was quite sterile and not inviting. The wait staff was great but hostess was rather aloof. The corn "risotto " was unimaginative and not tasty. My friend had the fried polenta which was good, but skimpy for the price. Our other table mate, had the steak which was rather tough. Fries were good and the bread was great. Not enough though 4 pieces for 6 bucks. Unfortunately I think Sessions is overrated for the price. Not what I expected. George Lucas should stick to films, he's great at that

I don't go into SF very often, but I'm so happy a friend joined me for lunch at Sessions. Getting to the restaurant was easy and they offer validated parking. It's a large open restaurant with fresh flowers on the tables. The service was excellent, even the manager stopped by to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We started with the bread and truffle butter and deviled egg (with caviar on top) appetizers. Then we split the burrata heirloom tomato salad and shrimp tortellini...everything was delicious! We can't wait to come back again for another delicious meal!!

The Skywalker Chardonnay was very aromatic and soft. My only regret is that I didn't try the Pinot noir when I ordered the bolognese Overall, it was a lovely experience to sit outdoors. The oysters of the day were a highlight that we would love to share with friends next time we visit.

Yesterday after church we visited Sessions at the spur of the moments while driving inside Presidio to Tunnel Tops. I told my friend that my family & I had good experience eating lunch at the restaurant. She wanted to try. We were greeted by the host and because of the weather she told us it was cold eating outside even there was the heater. So we ended up eating indoor. Again I liked the open dining room. For drink my friend ordered the regular margarita without the passion fruit syrup since she was avoiding the sweets for which the server recommended. I got the Arnold Palmer drink. This was 2nd time I ordered the Steamed Mussels that I liked a lot. My friend said they had good presentation & portion of mussels for which I hope the chef will not change the serving size down the road. We ordered the Corn Bisque soup and it tasted good with the spice on it and creamy. And lastly we ordered the Grilled Spanish Octopus. We were disappointed with the serving because we did not really eaten the octopus. It had a lot of garnishes mixed with fingerling potatoes, shishito peppers, green apple relish, walnut romesco sauce. Our server stopped by to check on us while eating. We ordered more toasted bread for the Mussells broth. We did not have dessert. Overall I don't mind coming back as long as I am not ordering their octopus.

Food was excellent - burger cooked to perfection to my request for medium rare. room was a bit noisy due to large table in the room but was able to move upon request. Nice atmosphere.

The food was good, but the waiter forgot to validate my ticket after I left. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed by the time I got to my car and drove to the ticket station, so I decided to call the next day. On the phone they said there was nothing they can do and gave me an email account to contact. Having to go through all this for the extra $18 charge is frustrating and disappointing.

The interiors were very comforting like a cafe at a Silicon Valley tech business. The service from front door to table had passive aggressive attitude. They weren't impolite but it always seemed like they were thinking about something else. After mostly nondescript interaction overall we got the food. I had the Polenta, Soup, and Bread. The bread said it had truffle butter, there was nothing truffle about it. The soup looked cute but we could've just picked up some Gerber if we wanted that taste. The Polenta was beautifully prepared and the sauce was tasty and could even taste the truffle. Most of the fixings were overpowering the dish and could've used restraint and care. Espresso Martini was drinkable but tasted like it would from 7/11 if they made them. Not likely to ever go back except in a pinch. Pictures not required.

Decided to come here while our car was charging. It's a very nice place with a great view. We ordered some cocktails and a couple of appetizers. All was very delicious and presented nicely. I will definitely come back again to try their dinner menu.

Our group of 11 came for lunch and made a reservation beforehand. They had a nice long table set up outside which was well covered on the patio from the rain. 20% service charge was auto added to bill because of the size and the bill came to over $500. Our server was very nice, giving us plenty of time to order refreshments and chat to catch up. We started with 3 charcuterie platters with fruit, cheese and cold cuts. It was very good but was busy talking so missed most of it. I started with the squash soup, a hefty serving and delish. My main was the Caesar salad with anchovy mixed into it and lots of bacon bits. It was a large salad and I ended up taking the rest home. Ny friend had the burger with fries and said it was delish. The patio is very large and inside dining is roomy too. I plan to be back with family for a meal one day.

Perfect service from the greeting at the door, to the final fair well. Fantastic food, and our server Brandon was amazing.

Came here on Sunday for a celebration lunch and we were seated quickly. We both opted for the burger and it was really good. The Brie cheese really makes it something special! The server made sure to acknowledge our celebration and throw some things in to make our meal that much more special. We will absolutely be back in the future! They also DO NOT have any additional junk fees on their bill, which is running rampant in the bay these days!

A Hidden Gem. My wife and I came here for brunch while visiting Chrissy Field for the Sail GP race. The surroundings are great (with a great view of a park-like area that's part of the Industrial Light & Magic campus) if you sit outside. The patio is dog friendly. We saw at least 6 different groups with dogs. I had the scrambled eggs with cheese biscuits. My wife had the beet salad and sourdough bread. Really awesome food!! The staff is sincere and provided incredible service. I would definitely come back for lunch or dinner. The Yelp directions sent us to the wrong place (Yoda fountain). It's closer to the Starbucks.

We have loved Sessions in the past: the place, the food, the service. No more. Today was profoundly disappointing and depressing in almost every way. The place remains a delight--beautifully conceived and executed--but our table was so wobbly that water spilled when we leaned on it. The promise of a fix was not taken up (why wait for the food, while a mechanic was summoned?) The food? A changed, reduced menu vs. the previous one. We had to wait, anyway, 15-20 minutes. I mean, they're busy, but c'mon. When it came, it was mediocre. Or maybe not that good--my cold $28 hamburger was just one of the disappointments. I like my hot food hot--silly me. The service? The buss person was more attentive than the waitperson. We won't be back. We can't come back to Sessions, anyway. They're changing their name under new owners to (I think) Pachinko, with an Italian menu. New management, they say, but keeping the staff. Seems to this diner they're cutting their losses and leaving town. What a sad denouement.

Came on a weekend without reservation, 20 min wait, not bad. Mom had the fried chicken sandwich (a little too thick so hard to eat), dad had the tuna salad (which he loved) and i had the cheeseburger. Overall enjoyable environment, decent service and food was decent. We enjoyed the stroll around the park right outside before and after the meal.

The cheese appetizer was ok ( if you like pickled veggies- choose this), the drinks were strong, and the atmosphere had a pleasant vibe. Flat screen at the bar with a few guests watching. Bartender wasn't very interactive so I wouldn't suggest going alone if you're looking for small talk. Had a reservation down the street so didn't stay for dinner.

We really enjoyed our Brunch here, yesterday. Everything tasted great, and it really helps to have great service. It was a birthday brunch, and it felt special. We started with 2 orders of deviled eggs, as it comes with 3 servings and we had 6 total. Very tasty, and different than the ones I make. More of a whipped filling with the yummy toppings. I chose the scrambled eggs, which were delicious with lots of veggies and a pourable mushroom sauce. The cheddar biscuits come with this dish & I think would have been even better with a whipped butter side.

I ate Skywalker beef! We were staying at the Lodge at the Presidio, so eating at Sessions was extremely convenient as it was a short walk (sparing us the agony of finding parking in SF). Unfortunately since it was so cold, the patio wasn't open but our group had an area to ourselves inside. Happy Hour runs 2-5pm with $6 beer, $8 wine and $10 cocktails (Moscow Mule or a spritz) and a half dozen oysters for $9. We got beers and Moscow Mules (at those prices, how could we not). Sessions partners with Skywalker Ranch so they serve wine from Skywalker Vineyards and Skywalker Ranch wagyu beef, as well as fruits, vegetables and herbs from the ranch. My daughter is a Star Wars fan and was able to enjoy a plate of fettuccine bolognese with a hearty sauce made from the Skywalker beef. In an attempt to eat healthy, I got the pan roasted salmon, cooked perfectly, and accompanied by potatoes, leeks and bacon (so much for eating healthy), spinach and a cauliflower puree. My non-meat eating husband got the Impossible Burger and fries, which came with a tomato jam and thick cut fries. Overall, the food isn't worth making a special trip to the Presidio for, but if you're looking for a restaurant on this side of town that's not cramped and won't pressure you to finish your meal so that they can turn the table, consider Sessions as an option. If you're a Star Wars fan, stop by the Yoda Fountain for a pic or two!

Came here for brunch because ive been before and enjoyed it. It had been a long time so it was time to return. We had reserved outside but it was freezing and they had already moved us inside which was nice. The room inside was ok, had wood tables and booths. Looked a little cabin like to me so not my favorite style but works for their spot since they are in the presidio. The windows are nice because there is a lot of green. The waiter was the best. Its rare to see that good of a waiter. He was attentive! : - When he saw only two dishes on table instead of three he stopped to ask and even remembered i didnt want pickled onions and he said "oh no, did they put the onions?" (Which was not the case but he remembered!) - he noticed my dad was eyeing desserts and eager to see the menu - as a result of photos on yelp, so he brought out the dessert menu in advance so we could take our time while brunching to decide The food was ok. Nothing amazing. The menu for brunch is actually pretty basic. We ordered a cheese plate. It was good, some fruit jam, three TiNY cheeses and fruit sparkled throughout. You have to really want cheese to order this: its $19 and priced way high for the quality/quantity of cheese. There was one goat (small), one gouda (small) and another thick pasted cheese (extra small). I would not order again. We were three and could not really cut two of the cheeses in three. It looked pretty yes but quantity for food: meh and cheese type: basic (im an expert in cheese lol) Mom ordered a green garlic soup of the day. It was very good. Mom ordered the nicoise salad. It was good and the tuna steak was huge. Unfortunately no one asked how we wanted it cooked so it came out almost raw. They redid it once she asked but still i feel best practice would have been to ask. My dad and i both ordered chilaquiles. They were good in taste (i think). He didnt like them but thats because he is nit a fam of chilaquiles and should not have ordered them. Ha. I do like chilaquiles always. I was disappointed that it said fried egg but came out where if you poke it, its super runny. I should have specified to avoid that. i asked them to fix the egg because i can not stand runny eggs. The taste of the chilaquiles was very good though! We shared the beignets. They were very good and the custard also. I dare to say better than in new orleans at cafe du monde. Coffee was normal. Cappuchino not good.

Ambiance - stellar Service. - stellar Food and Drink- stellar Be preparered to spend a bit on food & drink -- so worth it! The atmosphere is modern set at the edge of Presidio Park. Outdoor dining and gorgeous tall windows indoors. Hand crafted drinks: we had lavender vodka something's and exquisite wines. Our group had oysters, risotto, wagyu burger and crispy polenta with pomegranate seeds , affogato and chocolate mousse desserts. OMG we were happy!! Plus plenty of underground parking. Go here, without hesitation

Lovely outdoor seating. Excellent, attentive staff. The Octopus and Cuvee pairing was PERFECT! We enjoyed every bite.

The food was delicious, I ordered the Chicken sandwich, I enjoyed it very much! Our server is very friendly , but the front desk person and the person bring customers to the table weren't friendly, I saw a lady pushed the baby in the stroller wanted to come in, but nobody helped her to open the door, that's it's not a good customer service at all!!!

Came here for a company event and they had nice cocktails and appetizers. We had a set menu so might be different for regular diners. Salad - decent with good chunks of cheese and persimmons Wagyu - prefer a bit more marbling in steaks usually but it was alright. I liked the fries. Crème brûlée - maybe with a larger group it is hard to get out warm but good otherwise It's a nice spot within Presidio with good decor.

Hidden Gem waiting to be discovered... They have nice brunch menu .. Their Pork Belly a worth to try meal same with the Steak Fries.. There's a lot of parking .. a stone throw away from the Palace of Fine arts .. more local vibes . Walking your dog buddies is worthy as the surrounding park are less visited .. they have outdoor seating

First time here, way out of my way but the chef must know what he's doing. The steak was fantastic, made to perfection. The mussels had such a great flavor and the service was wonderful! I will be coming back again! Happy Sunday

incredible location! all the windows make it feel like you're eating in a garden. Will absolutely come back - it's such a beautiful location and a post-meal stroll in the Presidio is perfect. highly recommend

The service was very amazing, we went for brunch and the food was super delicious. We made reservation super fast and they even offered something special for our anniversary. It was amazing would visit again in the future.

Came here a few times - once back in April when I had some friends visiting and another time in July when my brother came to visit. Right off the bat, this restaurant has a great view and is very nice. The interior of the restaurant is very well put together and the outdoors seating provides a nice view of the small pond in the Presidio. Food wise, I've gotten a few things here before. The first time I came I got the fried chicken sandwich, and split the cheese board with my friends. The second time around I got the impossible/ beyond burger which was solid. While the food was good, there was nothing super special about the it. With that being said- I had a great time during both of my visits, the drinks were great, and the staff were very friendly. Will be sure to swing by here again when I find myself by the Palace of the Fine Arts or the Presidio

There's a nice view. Great food and service. I ordered soup, salad spaghetti and the salmon which was cooked perfectly and served very hot which is always appreciated. I would go back.

A disturbing thing about this restaurant is how I was treated radicially differently on 2 back to back visits. 1st visit (Tuesday) Attending a conference at Palace of Fine Arts, I suggested having dinner afterward, and we found this place. We called and asked if we could walk over. Were told yes. Went there had a good meal, multiple appetizers, wine, et cetera. Bill was hundreds of dollars, no worries as we enjoyed it. The service was hospitable and kind, although i noticed they kept giving the bill to my coworker and addressing him first when speaking. I was paying, as its my budget but figured it was no biggie 2nd visit (Wednesday - the next day) Coworker was elsewhere but still needed dinner. Called and asked to walk over. Was told I could be seated. When I got there, the brunette hostess told me to sit at the bar. I said Id prefer a table and she retorted "we dont have tables" I mentioned I had just called and she snottily said "you didnt say that" and then told me she would seat me. I wasnt apprised of specials, no one checked on how my food was. It was like night and day. I was shocked. The only difference I can really think of is that I didnt have my GenX male coworker with me . In both cases we made a quick reservation. In both cases it took about 10 minutes for us to walk over. Both times it was a weeknight. The experience of the second night really wiped out the great memories I had of the first night. I should have quit while I was ahead.

Just had brunch here with family members including 2 kids. The staff were attentive and accommodating. Ordered the Spanish Fritata- it was delicious w/crisp salad greens. We purchased a bottle of Skywalker wine and enjoyed the wine tasting. Parking was easy and the overall experience was great.

We had a weekend in the city for our friends birthday and made reservations couple months out not realizing Sunday when we visited was Easter! Had no bearing on the restaurants it being a holiday it was just everyone was in pastels and spring colors and me in my black lol. we were able to enjoy the surrounding area/ park because it was an actual sunny morning. Food was delicious. There was four of us, and between the four of us with appetizers and our main courses, I think we had a little bit of everything. The restaurant sources farm to fork, quality foods, and products, which really come across in the end. Steven Spielberg owns an operates this restaurant so you will see lots of movie, and Star Wars memorabilia appropriately placed throughout the restaurant. A subtle nod outside of the skywalker wines that are available. Would definitely come back to try again. Parking was easy. We use the parking garage below the restaurant. They charge a five dollar flat fee and had multiple areas for charging if you have an electric vehicle.

I used to come to this restaurant often when I worked in the Presidio area. It was our top pick for company-paid lunches and dinners. The restaurant is situated in a gorgeous location in the Presidio, and you can sit outside to enjoy the view while you eat. What's really great about this place is that the food and drinks have always been fantastic. I've never had a bad experience in terms of quality. Plus, if you're with a big group, there's plenty of room to sit comfortably. I highly recommend Sessions!

We were in town for Valentine's Day, and happened upon this marvelous restaurant. The service was top-notch. The food was lovely and delicious. The wine was delicious. I must eat gluten-free and Team was very accommodating. We started with a savory panna cotta. Then a delicious Ahi tuna tartar. The next course was caviar, which they served on slices of fresh pear for me. I had very tender and flavorful Braised beef short ribs with a creamy leak spinach. My beloved had the Crab risotto. Desert was a Milk Chocolate Mousse for my beloved and house-made sorbet for me. I had a wine pairing with a different glass of wine for each course. Champagne for the Caviar and dessert courses.
