Great beer choices and friendly staff. From the pictures, it looks like it might be more popular on weekends. We came on a weeknight, and there were not as many people. We found the furniture to be uncomfortable (metal high chairs with no back, and an unusually tall table with regular wooden chairs around it- it was awkward to sit at). It felt pretty bare, as far as decor and ambiance go. But we DID like the beer! (They are on the Untappd app!) You can walk down the street 1 block to Promised Land Brewery from here. That one has equally good beers and more ambiance (& comfortable chairs), but is much smaller.

Wonderful local brewery. I recently got a "hard slushy" from them on a hot day & it hit the spot!

This is my first time coming here! Nice to have a brewery in Gilroy! Finally!! Now, I can enjoy going to downtown Gilroy as a local. The picture shown is the killer clown( cotton candy hard seltzer) --it is really good.

This is a brewery. Major difference vs a pour room or a tap room that just resells beer as they are brew masters that BREW THEIR OWN BEER. I've had the honor of witnessing these guys start from brewing out of their garage to what it is today and I have to say that the passion to get new and good beer out there is inspiring. The beers themselves are fantastic, just pick your poison. Fun atmosphere, games to play, family friendly as well. If you love beer, you'll love it here.

The space has a welcoming hops aroma. The owner was very friendly and this was a truly enjoyable experience. The beers were very delicious as well

Loved our time here! Beer was awesome (we had 4 different styles and every one was a bullseye), beertenders were super welcoming and friendly, AND the place is dog friendly (kid friendly, too). Self serve snacks, water, and dog bowls - the latter two were especially appreciated as our pupper was as thirsty as we were ;) We were just passing through but if we lived in Gilroy, we'd absolutely be regulars.

Another Brewery in Gilroy!! So nice to see this in downtown!! We didn’t get to try a lot of beers because we were hoping around but what we did have we really enjoyed!! Staff was friendly and attentive!

Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. On Wednesdays the beers are $2 off. The system looked clean and well maintained. Nice to see Gilroy growing.

I don't often give five-star reviews but this spot hands down deserves it. Each time I come in, it gets better and better! It's a small family-run business, Robert and Giovanni have been brewing beers together for over a decade and have finally made their dream of opening up a spot many can enjoy. There is seating at the bar top, high top tables, low tables and a small patio standing bar so there is plenty of space. They do special events so it can get packed, but there's down times as well where everyone can have a seat. They also have crowlers available for purchase once you find a favorite beer, and merch like sweatshirts, tshirts, beanies, etc. I will be coming back again, and again, and again, and again! New brewery in downtown Gilroy with a great selection! I had the Barley Pop, Poison Apple, and Red Ryeding Hood. My favorite was definitely the Red Ryeding Hood... Barley Pop is great for you hazy IPA lovers and Poison Apple is a strong sour. The atmosphere of the brewery is super welcoming. They even have free popcorn and a board games section, along with foozball. They'll usually have a food vendor outside and you can bring the food in to eat. Make sure to check them out, they have their grand opening May 20th!

Settle Down Beer is a casual brewery taproom that has a decent varied list of brews with a handful of sours that's nice on a sunny day. Service is very nice and indulged me to sample a few brews before settling on my selection. There's also popcorn and such on the side for nibbles and various bar board games. Some indoor and outdoor seating. When we were there, quite a lot of fruit flies by the entrance but manageable.

Amazing rotating list of house made craft brews on tap and also in-can if you want to take some to-go (I did). Very friendly service with an intimate level of knowledge about each brew if you're looking for recommendations. They have some fun games like Jenga and often have food trucks show for tasty eats.

Had an incredible time there! Lovely addition to downtown Gilroy. The owners are very hospitable and welcoming. When friends come into town this is always the first stop. The ambiance is great as well, awesome vibes.

Great new place in downtown Gilroy. I took off a star because it's not open very many days a week right now. However, I'll gladly increase to five stars as soon as that is corrected. No food but there's often a food truck nearby. Right across the street is Tempo Kitchen ... see my other review. The beer is great! The menu changes constantly ... they're making the beer in the back and it's delicious. Don't miss this one. Cute patio area and good seating inside.

Don't be fooled, the beer may be called settle down, but it's very much, set it up. Everything here is good, wide varieties of flavors and beer types for all you beer mongers. Be savvy and settle down at settle down brew.

Dope ambience! Super helpful employees who know where to steer you if you're looking for any recommendations for what to drink. Tried a few varieties of beers and every one of them delicious. Place was lively on a Friday night with lots of Jenga and other games being played. Crowd was also super friendly and great place to hang out!

Rob makes some of the most creative and quality beers. The space is so well-decorated. I come all the way from San Jose for the best brewery in the valley.

Definitely a homey vibe. Love the snacks provide and the beer quality!! You can just tell with every sip these guys put their all into it. Have a passion for beer and know how to share it with the world. Can't wait to try more from them and very hopeful for the future.. Expansion??? :D Don't miss this spot if you want some amazing local Craft beers.

Great cold beer. The back has a cool setting for a quieter hangout spot. The flights are also nice try if you're in the mood for a small amount of different flavors

Awesome place! Unlike other places, these people actually make their own beer and serve it. The service is spectacular and the beer is always excellent. For a small brewery, they have a very large selection of beers. They have everything from IPAs to stouts to reds. They even make awesome sour beers. I highly suggest if you like beer and you're in Gilroy drop by this place and have a beer!!

If you are looking for amazing beer, this is the spot ! Not only are they family owned and operated - they produce a variety of beers / seltzer's for everyone to enjoy. Definitely recommended for locals & if your visiting !

I've been able to attend a couple of private events at Settle Down. The owners are a great group of people that brew all of their own beers and ciders. It's always a great time when we are there. Great drinks, Fun games, and Better people! Can't wait for them to open full time! Also, got to love helping out local self owned self managed businesses.

AMAZING BREWERY in Downtown Gilroy! They have been building it for a couple of years and I am so excited for it to be open! They've had a few private events and their craft beer/seltzer selection can't be beat! Super creative with beer/seltzers name, and it stems from their unmatched, creative, ingredients they add to their brew. Robert and Gio are the owners/brewers and they were behind the bar pouring drinks and answering any questions I had! Both are super knowledgeable! A great family friendly place to spend an afternoon! Don't have to worry about missing the big game, they have big TVs mounted and a great outdoor area for those days you want to catch that fresh air. Overall, loved the look and the ambiance!!!!! Next time you are looking for a great brewery, I urge you to try them out! You won't be disappointed!

Christian , Robert and Gino are great bartenders. The beer is top shelf and the atmosphere is just what gilroy needed . 10/10
