"Seven Restaurant’s cocktail bar is where you want to be at sunset. (Make a reservation in advance, because so does everyone else.) Located on the top floor of the on Palermo’s main avenue between the train station and Quattro Canti, this series of rooftop terraces has one of the most beautiful panoramic views in town.  Show off by pointing out the famous city sites to your date, even if you have to use the restaurant’s easy online map linked with the menu. Cocktails run you about €10-15, which are higher than you’ll find in other parts of town, but you’re buying the view—and of course, the photos you’ll take from the rooftop." - Linda Sarris

We had dinner and appetizers at this rooftop restaurant and it’s really a lovely place for a view of the city, particularly at sunset when the town is just lighting up. It’s expensive by Palermo standards and the food and service is fine but really nothing special. Limited menu and not friendly to vegans or vegetarians. In our opinion, it’s a great place for a drink but you might want to skip it for dinner. We give it three clams (four Google stars) on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

✨Stunning Views, Memorable Sunset, but Service Falls Short ✨ Seven Restaurant in Palermo is one of the city's most renowned skybars, offering a rare chance to enjoy breathtaking views from above. Since Palermo isn’t known for its tall buildings, this spot provides a unique opportunity to admire the city’s rooftops, churches with their iconic domes, and the sprawling cityscape. It’s the perfect setting for an unforgettable experience, especially if you’re lucky enough to catch a sunset as stunning as the one we saw—truly the most beautiful of my life. However, there are a few things to be mindful of. First, make sure to book a table in advance. It’s important to note that if you reserve a table for dinner, you are expected to order a full meal. We were disappointed to learn that simply ordering desserts was not an option, even though we had booked for dinner time. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by some issues with the service. Although it was raining during our visit, the staff seemed indifferent to the weather conditions. They didn’t offer us the option to move inside or provide umbrellas, and when I asked for something to dry off the wet chairs and table, I received strange looks instead of assistance. While the ambiance and views are undoubtedly special, the prices reflect the exclusivity of the venue. Both the food and drinks are on the expensive side, but if you’re looking to create a memorable moment with someone you love, this place could be worth the splurge. Overall, Seven Restaurant offers a one-of-a-kind experience with its panoramic views and romantic setting, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

The waitress was unpleasant and with terrible face. When I ordered tartar, she asked if I am sure, because my husband ordered steak and we came for a dinner and maybe she wanted me to order something like pasta or steak (I didn’t wanted). Tartar had zero seasoning, zero salt and zero pepper. For the dinner 100€ it’s not worth it. But the view is amazing! The best part of the evening. The guy who helped us with desserts was better and more kind.

First of all, you must visit this place for its incredible view on Palermo! You’ll be mind-blown! Second, the food isn’t the greatest, to be honest! It’s beautifully presented obviously but might lack of taste. A basic pasta dish would cost you 30 euros. The cocktails are really well made though! Prices are higher than in other restaurants. You must book a table on their site if you want to get there!

Such an amazing, magical place in the middle of historic centre. Rooftop is split for more levels, the biggest one is for dinner and than smaller one just for aperitivo. The views are amazing. And you feel so luxury, sitting at the table with white tablecloth, with most amazing sunset, pleasant music, elegant waiters and seagulls flying above your head. It is a must when you are in Palermo. We had just aperitivo, so I cannot review the food, but the atmosphere of that place was breathtaking. Remember to book, its very popular.

Sunset views 10/10. Not going to lie parking in the city and it’s location seemed a little sketchy. Service was so good and fast. The oysters were incredibly fresh but our fish and pasta was a little over done presentation was beautiful but food not quite there. Would absolutely go back though !

Atmosphere and service of this restaurant are amazing. All the staff were very thorough and made sure we were well looked after. The view is amazing during sunset and provides a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle seven floors below. The only negative of our experience was that the food wasn’t the most amazing (mostly due to personal preferences) - I found the cuttlefish entree quite “fishy” more so than usual.

Our experience in the restaurant was interesting, the food was well cooked and delicious, however, be aware that it’s priced significantly higher than your standard restaurant (but you’re paying for the view). The service on the other hand was not the greatest, our waitress made us feel awkward - we wanted to share a pasta as a starter and order mains, but she insisted that you can’t share a pasta (odd) and that you HAD to order one dish per person. However, she changed her tone very quickly when she realised we were ordering more food - and then ‘insisted’ we have the pasta as a starter. Overall, our experience wasn’t terrible, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere, but the customer service skills need improving to be more customer focus, and based on other reviews it’s a consistent issue.
