Seven Seas Crab House

TikTok made me do it!!! so I finally went to seven seas near downtown of Jacksonville, Florida and it met my expectations! They give you a lot of paying for your book! The crab legs were exceptional! And season two perfection I got mine extra spicy and it was so good! For those who are EBT they take that too! There was no wait they got me in and out fast! The only thing, though I do wish that they do offer to steam it, but that’s just me being greedy! Just keep that part in mind that you do have to take it home and heat it up yourself. Will be returning again when I’m on that side of town!

The seafood was good. The sauce wasn't too salty or spicy. The wait time was excellent. In and out, all about prep work! I would add few more shrimp for the price.

I've been coming here for years! This is the only place I recommend when someone asks for a seafood place.

Guys at the counter explained all the prices, how to heat up, and that's after knowing we found them on tik tok. 100% highly recommend!

Amazing people and delicious seafood. I normally order the large seafood combo (mild) and substitute the potato with another corn or egg. My husband gets the large snow crabs tray (spicy) and sometimes he also orders a shrimp tray (spicy). We would share a mussels tray as well on times we really want to pig out. Seasoning is on point (chef kiss). You do have to warm it up yourself and they normally tell you for how long for each tray. Sorry no pics because of course it’s all in the belly now 😋. Will try to post pics next time we go.

Have been passing this place and checking them out on Google for so long! Today I decided to try them And let me tell you, my daughter and I were not disappointed! Absolutely amazing

Quick, easy, friendly, delicious. Best way I can sum up my experience with Seven Seas. I enjoy the flavor of their seafood plates. You can order the plates cold or hot and adjust the spice level. No seating, so don't expect to dine-in. Price is affordable, plus they always have specials going on if you sign up for their text alerts. Definitely worth checking out.

For the record...Seven seas was once recognized as a must try in the area and I myself have called this seafood spot my #1 choice for about a decade. Pros: I received good customer service while resolving my problem. Prices appear reasonable Cons: prices have a great deal of ambiguity *Price was posted as $10.99 but while calculating the total I saw a charge for 1.00 that wasn't tax and questioned it. My given response was "the $1.00 is for the garlic butter on the garlic shrimp tray." I explained i had never been charged this and the price should be 11.99 if they want to increase the price. Not say they're charging for a part of a meal that makes it so. Cons: Asked for mild and it was extremely hot. Cons: The seasoning wasn't garlic ( maybe that was a fee too) It was butter and cayenne pepper.

This place came highly recommended from family. So i added this place to my list of places to visit once I visited Jacksonville. I decided to stop by here on my way back home to Orlando . It was perfect that the plates come cold and they bag the seafood in microwave safe bags. The seafood was pretty cheap in price compared to some other places I've visited. The seafood is seasoned very well & topped in their AMAZING butter. You can also buy a side of extra butter if you want more. I decided on the Snow Crab platter, which came with 2 large snow crab clusters, potatoes, corn and an egg. I popped the platter in the microwave in the microwave bag for 2 minutes. The crabs were so good the seasoning/butter was delicious. The crabs had a slight sweet taste to them. They cracked easily and it was so much meat. The customer service was great and the locals come here so it got busy while we were there. The ambiance looked standard for a seafood spot. This is a grab and go spot. I will definitely recommend this place & actually can't wait to go back.

i eat at Seven Seas crab house every time we come to Jacksonville and it has NEVER disappointed us! The owner is always so friendly and accommodating, makes us feel add if we are at home! The restaurant is always clean and inviting. I'll be back there this Friday June 14th and I cannot even wait!!

Love getting text messages birthday discounts and discounts for seafood plates. Service is decent and pretty consistent. Worth going to if you live close to the location. I always get a garlic crab tray. The flavor doesn't stand out as signature or anything, but it does hit the spot.

Sold me old crabs and they have the nerve to be expensive. Couldn't eat it . The crabs smelled so I know they knew they was expired before giving them to me

I rarely do garlic trays, so the experience is always new. I'm a fan of the egg and shrimp more than anything because I never eat the sausage. This place was PACKED!! My friend drove from the southside to the north just to come here. The service was good, but it was very slow since there were so many ppl. I think most of them taste the same and this place was really no different. I wanted a couple of things that they were out of, and them not having garlic toast really hurt my food spirits. Their fried food looked good, I should've went with that and if I ever go back That's what I'll get.

FISH, SHRIMP, FRIES AND BREAD So, yeah this is what happens when you drive down the street with no destination in mind and you are sitting at the traffic light and see a bunch of cars coming from a place you've never seen before. I walked in not knowing what to expect but as soon as I opened the door, o was hit with the sound of Miles Davis playing softly and a smiling gentleman who helped me pick out what I wanted to eat and chatted with me a bit about the business and his family. And as I waited for my food he happily greeted every customer with the same warm customer service that he greeted me with. The food is tasty and not over seasoned. Even though the food is fried it wasn't greasy and it was so much for the price that you can either share with someone or have it for lunch and dinner for yourself. I will so be back for the fried crab and for the steamed crawfish and other delicious looking items that I saw.

Absolute favorite seafood place when coming through Jax Fl. Seafood is always delicious with plenty of flavor and garlic butter.

I ordered once through door dash and the food was great and it was warm. I decided to give it a 2nd go today because the price is good and the food was the last time I had it. I ordered once again through doordash and then called the store to ask for a cup of melted butter on the side. I get my food and the bag feels ice cold. I open the bag and the container and there's no seasoning, no sauce, nothing. The sausage literally looked uncooked, so I picked it up to feel it and it felt like ice. I then feel the rest and it's just as cold. I know for a fact that this plate was sitting in a fridge. I called the store and they said "We don't send out cooked food for doordash". What?! I ordered a month ago and it was cooked. They literally sent me food "fresh" out of the refrigerator. I called doordash and got my money back and ordered from Juicy Crab. Disappointing restaurant with the worst customer service I have ever received. This place is a joke.

Seafood was good crab cakes were not the best and extremely salty. Was expecting to eat but you have to heat your own food up.

One of the best seafood places in Jacksonville. They offer you cold or steam seafood boils and the sauce is to die for. This is not sit down restaurant more of a grab and go.

So on Saturday I decided to venture out and try new places and came across Seven Seas Crab House. The pictures present for the business was definitely a deciding factor of me giving this place a try as it just made the food look magnificently delicious. When I arrived the business had a good amount of customers waiting but wasn't too packed and it seemed as though they were on it with getting people their orders in a timely manner. After order I would say probably waited for about 10 or 15 minutes. Not too bad a wait and plus I was super excited to try the Snow Crab Combo everyone had been raving about. Upon getting my food I didn't realize that they served it to you cold with instructions of heating it up for about 2minutes 30seconds. While I was expecting to just be able to dig right in, I had to wait until I got back home. After warming the food and digging in it didn't give me that blast of flavor that I was looking for. It wasn't as saucy as I expected it to be either but it wasn't bad. I'd probably come back and give them another try but I'm not sure it would be anytime soon

Came in and it was pretty empty however, no one even acknowledged me. And yes, they saw me. After waiting about 5 min. Another customer walked in and they helped that person immediately. I didn't say a word just walked out. I'll never ever return and will tell my friends and family not to do business here.

This food was so Bomb!! I got the combo with mussels shrimp and crawfish... visiting home from LA I was craving garlic seafood and they def delivered.

I paid $15 for a garlic crab tray. Definitely not worth it. It did taste good. The staff isn't too friendly. Don't think I will be returning. Sn: you have to tell them you want your food heated up, weird...

I absolutely love this place. The service was amazing and the food was even better. My parents want to come back here every time they visit from NC. They said they have never had seafood that was this delicious and I definitely agree!

Perfect! The seasoning is to-die-for!! My husband and I went in tonight, to try something different than our normal go-to place for crab legs and they did not disappoint! Great food, great prices, great service! We will definitely be back again.

So the place i usually go to was out of Jumbo crabs. Gave this place a second try...sure enough. The jumbo crabs that i paid 57 bucks for were switched out by the same kid. When i got them home they were all smalls. I was wondering why he went to the back. Now i know im not loosing my mind!! Its the kid that spices the crabs everytime...lesson FINALLY LEARNED!!

I don't see what all the big hoopla is about this place it's just like every other place you can go to get steamed crab that's already seasoned hell Publix and Winn-Dixie will do it for free yes pay the standard price for the seafood

...They may not get your order right but whatever you get: is gonna be delicious!!! If you fail to check your order b/4 leaving you might be in for a "surprise."

I had bad experience with this business yesterday. The food was not good. The French fries was burned and too much salt. Fish smelled and taste bad, crabs were old. They cook with dirty grease. Buyers beware of his business.

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. I was visiting Jacksonville and wanted seafood, so I decided upon this place due to the ratings online. Maybe it was the young kid there, but he tried to serve my food cold (crab leg platter with eggs, corn potatoes) and when i has him reheat it he popped it a microwave and melted the container and all the juices from the garlic butter and seafood spilled out in my bag. And he didn't care. So as you can guess I'm beyond angry and will Be reporting this to the owner. Worst experience

Best seafood/crab shack i ever been to. We had a large platter with: 2 crab shrimp, crawfish, scallops, corn, potato etc - pointless to say it was damn delicious! The food was prepared very quick after ordering, it was really good price for what we got. The food was fresh, and the sauce was very unique a bit spicy though. The owner local turkish guy was super friendly and with extra ordinary customer service spirit. We were there a few months ago on our honeymoon trip on the eastern coast on the US. This was a stopping point on our way to Orlando, FL. We had some great time there ! Go to this place if you are in Jax, highly recommended !

Went in a little before closing and ordered a shrimp leg combo tray...they literally served it to me cold. I didn't know and they didn't say anything either when I left. I won't be coming back and I'll let everybody know how they do business

On a whim and due to them being the only game in town open after 9 we decided to drop in on our way to the hotel on the south side of JAX. Let me tell you this was the best Blue Crap I have ever had! Their sauce is the BOMB! The place was packed but carry out only, but we made it work and gosh am I glad we did! Super friendly staff and awesome food to boot is a rarity these days.

We went and were really looking forward to eating here but there were only two outside tables. One was occupied by customers and the other by high school students who weren't eating. Left is no choice but to leave

This was our first time here, and we were standing around trying to figure out what to buy when the owner came over and gave us recommendations. We were a group of 8, so we did order a lot. We got the Black tray, We also ordered a shrimp tray, a snow crab tray, sides. And we tried the sweet potato pie which was delicious as well. They do put a lot of sauce over everything, but when we got back, we just microwaved the trays for 30 seconds, and the sauce just melted over everything. We like spicy, so the sauce was just right. If you don't like spicy, just let them know. We wanted to go back again before we left town. Maybe next time!

The food looked great and the service was good but it only tasted average. I was super hyped after seeing my shrimp platter and just knew it would blow my mind. I thought anything smothered in butter was good but this was not the case. My preference is still the seafood spots I'm Savannah, GA. I will definitely give them another try the next time I'm Jacksonville, but with the blue crab platter instead. Fingers crossed....i really want to like this place.

The place to go when you want a crab tray to take home. Service is great. Always a smiling face. I haven't tried the hot food yet, but people are ordering it to go. Prices are a tab bit higher than other places in the area, but the crabs are fresh and full, it's worth the price.

Was my first time being at this place and loved it!! I ordered a lobster tray and it was AMAZING . The mussels were good and everything. I will be going back to this crab house most definitely

O.M.G!!!! The crabs were so freaking good, meaty, and juicy!! I am from Jax but I've been away for almost 11yrs with the Air Force...brought my bf home to meet my family and I hyped up garlic crabs so much I had to take him to get some! This place was bomb!

Went there for the first time. The owner was great. Customer service was excellent and the seafood.... There are no words that can describe it.... It was delicious and will definitely be a weekly customer

This was a good stop for local fish and shrimp. We had the whiting and shrimp plates they were good but the ambiance is more ghetto than I'd recommend for the feint at heart.

Recently moved to Jacksonville. Seven Seas has become a favorite place for jumbo garlic crabs. The staff is friendly and will answer any questions you may have. Try the seven seas gum. This is 5 stars for me!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. They were friendly, happy to explain the menu and made sure I had what I needed. We tried the fried shrimp and fries, steamed shrimp and crab cake. The crab cake is the reason for 4 stars. It was ...weird. Waaaayyyyy too much garlic and breading. Other than that it was great! Their shrimp seasoning was awesome and I really liked the homemade sauce. We will definitely be back.

They need 10stars. I can't begin to tell yall how AMAZING their food was. My family and I were driving to Orlando so I stopped for some seafood since I saw alot of pics of their food on IG. It was well worth the stop. I only wish they had tables and chairs to sit and eat. Remember to ask them to heat it up a lil before giving it to u. Oh and make sure you try the sweet potatoe pie. Yum yum yum.

I saw this sandwich on Facebook or something and it looked really good. Wrong answer. The fish was cooked well I guess but it still had the skin on it. That is so wrong in many many ways. I did hear a ding and then my food came out. So if you like fish skin and all this is your place it's just not mine.

It's nicer than a lot of crab shacks I've seen. Well... ok this is my second attempt to eat here in one day. I picked up and it was over cooked and cold. The crab cakes are like sponges. Don't get! I'll letting them retry it so we will see.

Was out of town and didn't know what to expect as far as the food but didn't realize my order was wrong until I got back to the hotel. Also, the food was cold and not warm. Beware that most of the plate come smothered in butter and seasoning. So just ask for them to go light or put it on the side.

Great food. I like it here. My wife liked the shrimp and crab legs. The garlic sauce on the boiled egg and potato is what I liked. I would eat here again. I would suggest this place to my friends

First time visiting and ordered a crab cake. It was so horrible. It tasted really old like it was leftover for the day before. The shrimp I ordered were cooked too long. My s.o didn't care for the crab tray. I won't be visiting again.

Omg the snow crab combo is GREAT!!! Seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. The meat came out in whole pieces, without breaking up. The shrimp were nice and big. Mmmm mm good!

This place was suggested to me so I visited it last night. Wow! This little gem is amazing. The interior is clean and filled with the smell of fresh cooked seafood. It is a take out place only. The menu is split with seafood prepared with garlic and fried seafood on the other half. I decided on the garlic snow crab leg tray. It was already cooked but just needed to be heated. I chose to heat it at home as opposed to the restaurant heating it. The legs were well seasoned and made for a delicious dinner. I will definitely order this again and visit this restaurant again. The staff was very cordial and aimed to please. Please check this place out. Thank you.
