I had an excellent experience at Seven Spice! The walnut shrimp, tofu and vegetables, and sizzling beef were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy, making it a great spot for a family dinner or casual hangout. Everything from the service to the quality of food exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!

I've been visiting Seven Spice in Austin for years now, and it consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience. I recently celebrated Lunar New Year with my friends there, and once again, we were blown away by the delicious food and warm hospitality. We ordered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was perfectly seasoned and presented. The flavors were bold and vibrant, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. The owners are incredibly welcoming and passionate about their food, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. This was my third visit to Seven Spice, and it hasn't disappointed once. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is inviting, and the service is impeccable. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a delicious meal, I highly recommend Seven Spice. It's a true gem in Austin's culinary scene.

Google
This place completely blew me away. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful, and beautifully cooked Chinese food, look no further.

Google
This place is truly the real deal. You know a Chinese restaurant is good when many many Chinese people eat there. My favorite dish is their pork lo mein dish. Man, it is not a dish, they serve it to you on a platter! Large proportions, the thickness and size of the pork also increased since our last visit. Overall five stars for this place. Highly recommend.

Google
My favorite go-to place for delicious authentic Chinese food! The portions are very generous, the food is always served fresh and hot, and the waitresses are both really friendly and accommodating.

We have been visiting the restaurant at this location for several years. It recently changed from China Cafe to Seven Spice. When we arrived, we were the only patrons not waiting for take away. We were seated and ordered dumplings and 4 entrees to share. Everything was delicious. The kitchen was a little slow, but everything was fresh and hot. Before we left, there were several more tables seated.

This place is consistently good and flavorful! Great service and the friendliest owners! I have FINALLY found my favorite orange chicken dish in Austin!

Yelp
One of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in town! No-frills environment, extensive menu, prices are not too bad. It's pretty empty inside so great if you need an impromptu spot for a large group. My favorite was the pork belly dish. Eggplant and string bean dishes were both good. Dishes come out as they're prepared, not all at once.

Yelp
Kind of a hidden spot, but Seven Spice definitely deserves more recognition! We went on a Sunday afternoon and there were barely any people inside. But the food was delicious! It was pretty authentic in my opinion, and the spicy dishes weren't too spicy which was one of my concerns. The workers were so friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that for some dishes, I wish the serving size was bigger (especially for the honey walnut shrimp). The stand out dishes for me were the fish and the twice cooked pork. But although the chicken fried rice was good, it wasn't anything too special. Plus white rice comes with the other dishes. And it's no charge to refill. So not too worth it.

Yelp
Love Seven Spice! I was immediately greeted by a nice waitress as I entered the building. They have great lunch specials. You get a main dish plus rice and an egg roll, egg drop soup or hot and sour soup. Great portion size too for lunch. I ordered the chicken with mixed vegetables along with egg roll and hot and sour soup. Really great meal all around. They have roughly 10 parking spots out front. The decor won't overly impress anyone, but you don't come here for what's on the walls, more so what's going to fill your stomach.

Yelp
My friend found this place tucked in a quiet neighborhood and we decided to give it a try. It wasn't busy when we arrived on a Sunday evening, but I'm guessing the air conditioning wasn't working as it was considerably hot walking in. We ordered a few different dishes to split among the 4 of us. The green beans were spicy, too oily, and lacked the crispiness I was looking for. The fish filet with mustard came recommended by one of the staff and it hit the spot. This soup was ginger heavy and right up my flavor palate. The dan dan noodles were spicy, the cumin lamb was a little tough, but had strong cumin flavor, and the walnut shrimp was crispy and sweet. The service was great; they were very attentive. Overall, the food is just ok, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again.

Yelp
I ordered online here for delivery as I was apprehensive about the dining experience from some reviews. Delivery came on time through the third-party delivery apps. I kept it simple and ordered the egg with minced beef soup and sauteed beef with onions. The egg with minced beef soup was nice and had more of soupy texture (i have had this in other restaurants and they go crazy with corn starch so it was nice to have a light soup). Other places also add tofu and this one didn't so it was just as described. The egg was just like in egg drop soup but more with egg whites. It was refreshing and light for a sunday meal. The other dish the sauteed beef with onions seemed to be popular in most of the reviews so i went with that. Just as you would expect it to be and the meat was very tender and the sauce was chef kiss; definitely had that taste you'd expect from Chinese cuisine. The rice that came with it was adequate and was plenty. I sopped all the sauce with it and was very satisfied. Will try more dishes in the future.

Yelp
Another family dinner takeout experience, this time my Mom requested Seven Spice, because she enjoyed it the last time she went with friends. We ordered a few dishes: Vegetable Lo Mein - pretty standard Chinese dish, not much to say here. Tofu in Crab Sauce - this was my mom's and sister's favorite. I enjoyed it, apparently not something you can find in other restaurants. On Choy (water spinach) - one of my favorite vegetable dishes to order at any Chinese restaurant and it did not disappoint Jinsha Fried Pumpkin - I haven't had this anywhere else, I thought it was nice. It was slightly fried pumpkin, so you could still really taste the pumpkin, which I like. Sauteed Eggplant with Basil - Pretty good eggplant dish, I think I like the flavor in the garlic eggplant variation more than this one. Steamed fish filet & Tofu with red pickled pepper - This was my favorite dish, I've had this sort of fish filet at other Chinese restaurants and always enjoy it. Definitely one of my go-to dishes, this was slightly different because you get tofu with it as well. I think the fish was slightly overcooked, but surprisingly wasn't tough at all. The food overall was very tasty, and the menu had way more options than most quality Chinese restaurants here in Austin. I also liked that nothing tasted overly salty, it didn't feel like the dishes had used an overwhelming amount of MSG to make it flavorful.

Yelp
A friend highly recommended for us to come here so we came and ordered many dishes. I don't remember all the names of the dishes. The location is very hard to find. It's in the middle of two one-way streets and hidden next to a bank. Inside, the restaurant smells good, of course, because of all the spices. No straws are provided to drink water, but that is fine because the cups are clean. The food itself was not good. I love meat but all the meat were very salty. You must get a lot of rice. Rice does not cost extra so that helps a bit. The food that were alright were the food that had less spice such as the green beans. Sadly, I did not enjoy the food.

Yelp
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town. Pretty much every dish is well prepared here, as in not too salty, not too oily, not over or under cooked. The Hunan stir fried pork and dry sautéed green beans are my go-to order.

C S.

Yelp
All Sichuan dishes we ordered were spicy, tasty and authentic. The waitress was friendly and helpful too.
google avatar

Yelp
Veggie lo mein was just a pile of greasy noodles. Hardly a veggie in sight. Tofu was no better.

Yelp
Was driving around looking for a place to eat, and stumbled across here. We came in right when they opened for dinner service, and were seated quickly and given our drinks. Lovely service and fantastic food! Very hospitable, better than Olive Garden at making you feel like family.

Y'all I'm so happy I found this place food is absolutely delicious love you guys I'll definitely be ordering again .

Kaylie G.

Yelp
WOW!!! This place is incredible. We were a little nervous because it was quiet when we arrived. The food was fantastic. We ordered just the best egg rolls we've ever had. The walnut shrimp was so fresh and just perfect-also very fairly priced. Don't miss it.

Yelp
Authentic Chinese food that's reasonably priced. The tofu in crab sauce has been missing in Austin since Mandarin House closed down

Yelp
My first impressions upon arrival of this fairly new restaurant: friendly, accommodating service. I was able to see the daily specials on a chalkboard near the entrance, then instructed to sit wherever I wanted. Since they had strategically placed an artistic screen between the seating area and the entrance to the kitchen where the serving station was, I chose a cozy table behind the screen. I was given both a lunch and all-day menu, and my server was more than happy to describe dishes in detail , offer suggestions, and help me with my choices. She did not rush me, which I appreciated, but nonetheless checked on me periodically. Knowing I would end up with leftovers to take home, I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and the Sautéed Eggplant with Basil. I LOVED the fact that on the lunches they allow you to choose 2 of 3 options as your "sides": egg roll, hot &sour soup, or egg drop soup. As I'm a soup-a-holic I chose both soups. Unfortunately they do not give you a rice option so all lunch specials come with STEAMED rice, not fried. I'm sure there's some sort of an up charge for fried if you'd like, but I overlooked that until too late. The Kung Pao was delicious and had all the veggies I like, beautiful and glistening in chunk form with white meat chicken. Carrots, green bell pepper, celery, peanuts...It was delicately balanced so it needed no soy sauce, and obviously served with love in both preparation and gorgeous presentation, plus (after discussion with my server) they gave me a side of chili oil in case I wanted to make it spicier. I saw some Yelp reviews complaining about the dishes being too mild, but the other side of the story is, the chef here is Cantonese so is expert at those types of dishes; hence, the delicate, mild flavors. So...if you are more of a Sichuan or Hunan fan, just ask for that chili oil on the side and you can make your dish as spicy as you wish! But they do, however, get high marks for their fish in hot chili oil, which I'd like to try next. My eggplant (Asian type) was to die for--perfectly stir fried, not mushy, delicious fresh basil leaves--I would definitely recommend and I will order it again. The soups I got were good renditions and were good portions so I took them home as well. I guess my only petty complaint would be that (maybe due to Covid concerns?) they had their sweet 'n sour and hot mustard in packets on the table instead of house-made versions. With the quality of ingredients in their dishes I feel that they should rethink this strategy, along with the practice of closing mid-afternoon, because I guarantee that's the time that I finally get around to ordering lunch! Please stay open, at least for take-out and delivery orders! I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you are looking for traditional Chinese dishes (think intestines, pickled mustard greens, pigs' feet, etc.) and not just the Americanized versions that we see everywhere. In this regard I think that they could give Asia Cafe a good run for their money, although their menu is not as extensive nor portions quite as giant. But the quality of ingredients, delicate balance of flavors, and care of both preparation and presentation are obvious in each dish that they serve.

Yelp
This restaurant is a gem for authentic Chinese food. Be sure to look at the chef specialties section. We had the Hunan stir fried pork and the chopped fish with mustard greens and both were excellent. The staff are very nice and the service was really good. We had a lovely meal and will definitely be going back.

Yelp
This is not your typical orange chicken type Chinese restaurant. This place serves up really good authentic Szechuan style Chinese food. We tried the fish in oil dish, pork with pickled bean, Dan Dan Mien. Everything was amazing! The fish in oil was a 10/10 with just the right amount of numbing peppercorns. They also don't skimp on ingredients or portion. Will definitely come back and try their cumin beef.
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
A nice mom and pop spot for some authentic Chinese food. The food came out fresh and they do deliveries as well. Highly recommend the snow pea leaves and boiled spicy fish.

Yelp
This is an unexpected gem in an unusual place... I originally expected a subpar Chinese-food take-out at a location like this, but they offer many uncommon dishes that are surprisingly good. In order to get the most of what they can offer, you need to dine-in and try out some of them more uncommon dishes. For the spicy, Couple's delight and steamed chicken with chili oil are both good appetizers. For main dishes, fish filet in chili oil and steamed fish filet & tofu with red pickled pepper are both good choices.

Yelp
This food is legit! I love that they don't shy away from making things spicy. We tried a couple of chef specials that were the best things ever, and now I want to try all the chef specials. * Griddle cooked cauliflower with smoked pork? If I had one meal to eat for the rest of my life, this might be it. Definitely a contender. * Steamed fish filet & tofu with red pickled pepper: spicy, warming, and nutritive. *Probably* cures covid? More research is needed. We also ate a couple of less-spicy dishes, including the eggplant garlic and the shrimp broccoli. Both were crowd pleasers and would be nice on their own or as additions to a family-style meal. The eggplants were fresh and cooked to silky perfection. The shrimp dish was well-balanced and mild, perfect for kids or people with sensitive palates. Steamed dumplings were on point with nice dough-y wrappers that felt handmade. This place is not mailing it in, people! One last honorable mention, the minced chicken corn soup. Divine. It only comes in a big size, and that is OK. You can eat it all. I won't judge. It all felt very authentic, freshly prepared, and more in the realm of cuisine than just food. This was a very good family dinner choice. Northwest Hills is lucky to have this little hidden gem. One tip though, if you're not already familiar with all the various driveways, lane changes, and turnarounds of this particular section of Spicewood Springs Road, do yourself a favor and study the map first. I'm really rooting for this establishment to stay in business in such a tucked-away location that GPS may or may not accurately send you to.

Yelp
We finally tried 7 Spice this week and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the dishes! I had the chicken with garlic sauce and hot sour soup. We also ordered some vegetarian dishes with tofu. Everything was very well prepared and tasty. They have quite an extensive menu as well. We are so happy to have a great Chinese restaurant close to our house. I highly recommend them in the NW Hills area.

Yelp
The newly opened Seven Spice is not your typical strip mall Chinese food restaurant with shovel ready, heavy sauce, and pre-cooked, deep pan served in a minute by the pound. The menu offers a recognizable lunch menu, a traditional "american" style and very special, authentic specialty items. The food is served fresh, hot and clearly, right out of the wok and served and nurtured to your table. The sauces and light, tasty and perfectly compliment the ingredients. Be careful when ordering for the table, the serving sizes are rather large. If you are in the mood for authentic, unique, fresh and tasty in friendly environment, this is your place. Especially if you are a large group.

Yelp
OMG Have been coming to Se7en Spice for over a year. Should have left a review sooner. Absolutely love this place and their food. This is a traditional Chinese restaurant so dishes come out as they are done. My suggestion is to share family style. Staff is very friendly they greet you with a smile. When busy be patient they seem to have only a couple of wait staff but they hustle to get everyone taken care of. Our favorites are well to be honest almost the whole menu: Appetizers A4 Steamed Dumplings A5 Hot & Sour Shredded Potato Soups T1,2 these are the best Egg Drop, Hot and Sour soups I've had in a long time. Chef Specials : there are 36 items. I have tried most all are delicious but I tend to order these the most: H9 Griddle Cooked Cauliflower with Smoked Pork H13 Dried Spicy Pork Rib H30 Steamed Fish Filet & Tofu w Red Pickled Pepper Vegetables: V3 Eggplant with Garlic Sauce V5 Mapo Tofu V6 Dried Sautéed Green Beans If they have it on the special you HAVE to have the Jasmine Roast Duck. ABSOLUTELY the best duck I've ever had. It was smoky crispy skin and lean tender meat. Really EVERYTHING here is delicious! I WILL BE BACK!!
google avatar

Yelp
Authentic, big portions. Not greasy or overly spicy. Much healthier than most Chinese restaurants in the US. Friendly service, clean.
google avatar

Eric F.

Yelp
Friendly staff, large, tasty servings of food, and ready within minutes of calling in an order. Not much to say, but this is a great option for Chinese food in Northwest Hills.
google avatar

Jill B.

Yelp
I love that they have the real Chinese dishes here instead of what you typically see on every menu across the state. I tried the pumpkin with a salted egg yolk sauce and the double cooked spicy pork belly. They were both delicious and generous portions to eat the next day as well. My friend had the typical Chinese food fare. It was good, but not interesting. I need to go back and try many other dishes from the "Chinese" side of the menu. It was a welcome find in this area!
google avatar

Robert A.

Yelp
Awesome business. Great food every time we go! So good I took my parents here when they were in town!

Erika S.

Yelp
The first time I came here the place was new and the food was good. Fast forward, prices are high but dishes were small and flavorless. The lo mein was nothing but greasy noodles and some celery with a few broccoli bits thrown in. The other dish was taste free. Not coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
New place in an area that I wouldn't think would have good food, but I was very pleasantly surprised by Seven Spice. The place is clean and open for dine in and take out and has a very authentic looking menu. Portion sizes are generous, which is good given the price. I do think for take out they could give a bit more rice though. I highly vouch for the eggplant with basil. It's one of the best eggplant dishes that I've had in a long time. Not too greasy, really well flavored, not mushy either. If you aren't an eggplant fan, this will definitely make you one. The green beans are also really good if you like that wok hei flavor. Spicy fish in chili oil is a classic sichuan dish and the version they have here is silky poached fish in an aromatic broth, a not too frightening amount of chilis/heat and some bean sprouts. It's one of the cleanest variants I've had in town. We also tried Griddle Cooked Chicken, which is bone in tiny chunks of chicken and potato which are seasoned with some chili peppers. The flavor is good, but the chicken is really dry and it's a pain to eat around all the bone. I've definitely had better than that but flavor wise it is on point. Salt and pepper ribs are also good. I expected them to be deep fried because, typically salt and pepper items are fried and then tossed in the seasoning after. They might be deep fried too, but there's no breading so it's just straight up as is with the seasoning. A bit on the salty side, but it's flavorful for sure. Overall, definitely want to come back to try more of the menu.

Yelp
The food here is fantastic and I believe they do not use MSG when cooking. I cannot taste the typical MSG with their cooking. No RLS for me tonight :-). I highly recommend their Lo Mein dishes. I had the pork lo mein and it was very flavorful. I started with the most fresh steamed dumplings, wonton soup and bok choy. My fiancé had the egg drop soup and she doesn't ever eat steamed dumplings but this time... yes and she loved them! She had the Mongolian beef and it had just the right spice. She likes her Chinese food spicy. Do not come for the ambiance. Come for the food.

Yelp
I have been exploring different Asian restaurants since moving to Austin, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the casual atmosphere at this new Chinese restaurant. The menu presents a good balance of traditional dishes and more westernized ones, so there's something for everyone. The food was fresh, served hot and the tea fragrant. I explored a few dishes from the Chef's Choice part of the menu, and will be coming back to try the other flavors. Good service, friendly owners.

Yelp
First of all Let me just say I am a RIDE OR DIE CHINA TOWN FAN BECAUSE Ronald and his Staff are so courteous and his families recipes are THE BEST. However I still like trying new Asian restaurants. With that being said I went in excited to try this new restaurant 7 Spices in my neighborhood because it SOOO close WITHIN walking distance to my house. Unfortunately, I left very disappointed and WILL NOT RETURN. I ordered the egg roll I was told I HAD to order 2 because 2 to an order. Now most places are flexible and will let you order half but I was told NO! GOOD thing I got 2 because they are mini and the only flavor came from the chili oil I drizzled over them. Next I ordered a cup of Hot & Sour soup with crispy noodles aka fried wontons and was told they don't have either. Soup was good and very HOT. I burned my tongue. After asking lots of questions about their large plates because their menu is very vague I decided to order H27 Dried Fried Spicy Shrimp Prawns with white Rice. First of all the shrimp were not Prawns maybe large shrimp. Covered with BAZILLIONS of THE REALLY SPICY RED . Right away I noticed the Shrimp still had the tail on them which was ok & It was fried with a lite batter. So far so good. Time to dig in. It was spicy and crunchy. A little TOO crunchy. Then I had all these pieces of shell in mouth and I got some with the pepper flakes stuck in my throat. NOT GOOD!!! HELP!!! We have a situation here people!!!! ‍ When I called my waiter over and he said everything alright I almost jumped up Hoping he knew the Heimlich. But instead after a big drink of H20 I said the shrimp still has the shell on it. He said very rudely AND??? I said you didn't tell me it would fried in the shell he very sarcastically said you didn't ask me. I replied oh yes I did . Because your menu is so vague I asked extensive questions about the dishes and how it was prepared. He's curtly said do you want it or not? I, of course replied , no I do not. In a very put out manner put he asked if I wanted something else & I only because I WAS STARVING , after asking many questions ordered the shrimp Lo Mein. Obviously, I was in a shrimp mood and a glutton for punishment. The dish was HOT with heat shrimp were a nice size, it came with some mix vegetables like carrots, onion, in the flat Lo Meir noodles. However, it just didn't have much flavor. With the pandemic and all the restaurants that are trying to stay in business this Asian restaurant will never make it unless they 1. Serve adult beverages 2. Acquire customer service skills. Remember the customer is ALWAYS right! 3. Improve their menu by adding more descriptions under the dishes. 4. I don't see how the flimsy plastic covers on table Are Covid compliant. They are very hard to eat on because they slide all over the table. Reuse not good. Normally I would consider going back to A new restaurant after they have been open for a while but not after the wait staff was so rude. In closing as for this Austin Blondie CHINA TOWN here I come!

Yelp
I ordered the braised pork belly to go and it was pretty good. The jasmine rice was moist and fluffy and the pork belly was perfectly seasoned with anise. I liked the baby bok choy in the braised pork belly. Portions were large. It definitely tasted better than the braised pork belly at 101 Teahaus as it wasn't overcooked.

Darren C.

Yelp
Recently opened Sichuan Chinese restaurant. Clean and small dining area. Came here with family members to try it out. Had my favorite vegetable, snow pea leaves. Cooked perfectly with a bit of crunch in it. Very much enjoyed the Shanghai fried rice cakes. Good snack. Sautéed egg plants were pretty good. Reminded me that eggplants tend to be mushy. I like it a bit more fried. Jinsha Prawns are probably my favorite dish here. Kind of like Walnut Shrimp at other restaurants but a salty instead of sweet flavor. Definitely recommending this one. Loved munching on the fried pork intestines. I typically prefer them not so fried for more flavor but these were a good crunch. Beef in Chili Oil was interesting. Not as spicy as It looks, more of a bumbling flavor. Beef was soft and good. For soup we had the Chinese Yam with Chicken Soup. Kind of tasted like coconut soup but overall a warm pleasant feeling. Would come again, good for sharing plates with friends and family.

Yelp
Welcome to the neighborhood, Seven Spice! I found this spot while browsing Asian delivery options by my place, and I'm so glad I did. The food is solid, authentic Chinese with some of your typical American-Chinese dishes. Here's what we got and what we thought: -Crab Rangoons: least fave bite of the night. The wonton wrapper seemed to have soaked up the grease, and there just wasn't enough filling. Will skip next time. +Hot and Sour soup: Yum! Plenty of tofu and other goodies in this cup. +Wonton soup: love that it came with plenty of greens, and the wontons were silky. +Spicy chicken: Lil fried chicken bits that remained tender loaded with chilies to bring that nice numbing feeling you get with Szechuan dishes. Wasn't really spicy though but still delicious. +Mongolian beef: Quality beef used for this dish because the meat was nice and tender. Sauce was tasty too! +Fried rice with chicken: pretty good! Again, the chicken was of good quality. Nice and tender. Right amount of egg. Yum yum. One odd thing (maybe a mistake) was that no white rice came with our order. We made some for our leftovers. Also wish the sauces like spicy mustard were homemade and not packets. Looking forward to trying something else on their menu!

Yelp
This place in a new restaurant conveniently located in my neighborhood. Unfortunately our immediate neighborhood doesn't have many great food options, but Seven Spice is certainly an exception! We ordered takeout last night and were thoroughly impressed. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Our order was ready very quickly and was super fresh. We will be coming back here regularly I am sure of it. Welcome to the neighborhood Seven Spice!

Yelp
This was our first time to visit this place since they changed ownership. The food was pretty good. Two of us split an entree and it was more than enough food.

Yelp
Came here with my family, we all enjoyed the food here very much. Menu has so much to choose from, my absolute favorite is the Salted Pepper Pork Rib... best I've had at any Chinese restaurant! Another dish I particularly liked was the Texas Okra. Overall great flavors, friendly staff, and nice ambiance. Will definitely return to try more tasty dishes!

Yelp
My meal consisted of General Tao's chicken, an egg roll, and egg drop soup. The entire meal was underwhelming. The egg roll was mushy and almost as flavorless as the egg drop soup. The chicken was bland and I found a couple of pieces that were undercooked. The heat wanted to be there, but just didn't quite make it. Even the fortune cookie was missing something...the fortune inside. The best part of the meal was the rice. I asked for spicy mustard and sweet and sour sauce, I was given a packet of duck sauce and one of "hot" mustard. The best part of the experience was the lady working the counter, she was sweet. This was my second attempt, because I always give places two chances, and I feel my lesson has been learned. It's too bad, they are in a great location and at noon the restaurant was empty with the exception of a single couple and myself. I think it's time to revamp the menu.

Yelp
I am from Szechuan province. The two dishes we ordered from this restaurant, braised pork belly and spicy beef stripe were EXCELLENT! Much better than other Chinese restaurants that are rated higher on Chowbus, and much less expensive. Very high quality and authentic food for a good price. Will order again or eat at this new restaurant.

Yelp
I just bought a lunch special with vegetables and steamed rice with veggie egg roll and hot &s our soup. This meal was totally disgusting. The vegetables seemed to be barely heated and tasted gross. The vegetables tasted like they were cooked??? In an old dirty pan. I eat vegetables and rice in various restaurants and this tasted gross. The hot & sour soup tasted watered down with no flavor. The sweet & sour sauce was watered and sugar was put in it. I will never eat at this place again.

Yelp
Ordered on line and showed up at the time indicated on the order but they hadn't even seen the order. They started it when I showed up. The food may be good but don't order online. I waited in the restaurant for over 30 minutes.

Yelp
they take forever. don't expect to get your food in a timely manner. people walking out because the waits are so long, with not even half the tables full.

Yelp
Singapore noodles are the best I've ever had. Food is top notch- authentic. Beatrice is from Sam Francisco. She's no poser

Yelp
Had dinner there for the first time last night. I live in the area and didn't know it existed. Not pretentious at all, a neighborhood place. We had king pau chicken, beef with peppers, and a sautéed vegetarian eggplant dish. I thought it was the best Chinese we've had in Austin.
