Seven Sushi & Robata

We had an excellent meal here. They had a wide variety of menu items and each one was amazing. Our server Maggie was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us perfectly. We would definitely come back again!

I really enjoyed this place. We did the $57 menu and were very pleased it was definitely worth it for what we ate. The quality of the fish was excellent, and the sushi pieces were the perfect bite size, which made it easy to try a wide variety from the all-you-can-eat menu. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Only downside was that they didn’t have some of the premium items like salmon belly, but overall it was a great experience and I’d happily come back. Also our server Kong or Hong was great.

The food and staff were both top notch! I can see why this place has such high reviews. Shout out to our server Ben for his outstanding service! We will be back soon to try the second tier items.

Unbeatable value. Not the best sushi I had, but for that deal - it’s great! Great atmosphere. good AYCE selection. Wouldn’t recommend the “premium” package. Our server Samantha was really friendly and answered all our questions! The food was delicious and came out really quickly - portion sizes were great (not too much rice w/ the nigiri and the sashimi wasn’t too small/thin. Everything was fresh and tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

We visited here some time ago. I’m usually not a fan of all-you-can-eat sushi because it’s often not fresh and the quality can be disappointing. But I decided to give Seven Sushi a try, and for the price, it’s definitely worth it. The sushi was fresh and the variety of options was pretty good. Our server, Trey, provided outstanding service—he was attentive and made the whole experience exceptional. We would definitely return for the food and would request Trey again if he’s available.

Place is very clean and nice. Food was good and fresh, everything came out pretty fast. Our Server Hoang was attentive and great! Very friendly and fast services. We was able to have a nice meal with the little kiddies. There was something for everyone on the menu. Recommend to others and we will definitely be back with friends and family!

The food and service were both really great. $57 AYCE was definitely worth a try. I recommend BlueFin Tuna, Salmon/ Salmon Belly, Cajun Shrimp, and LA Galbi! These are my favorites are would definitely go back for it.

Came in to eat the $57 and it was very worth it. They serve fresh fish and nothing is frozen, salmon belly was very buttery and delicious. Surprisingly their robata was really good, their food items were all very solid. Service was great, the server was very attentive!! Overall the restaurant was very nice inside. For AYCE it was very good quality fish a service. Definitely coming back!!

Had such a fun time here at Seven sushi, the food was great but my sever made it even better!! My server hoang was the definition of above and beyond, exceptional service, one of the best Ive had in a while. Would come back and bring more close ones next time. I would have to say their interior design blew me away as well, 10/10 ambiance, 10/10 service, 10/10 food.

Two my friends and I came here for Christmas dinner. This is all I can eat with the basic price at $37 and the premium of $57. The drinks are not included. Of the drinks, we had tiny dancer, purple rain, and geisha 101. Our waitress said that Thai dance was really sweet, but it's not it tasted like cough medicine to me. The other two was really good. The purple rain was a slow drink type so I was able to tie that throughout my whole meal. What I would re-order: beef belly (3) with Waygu fried rice (2), salmon (lost count), shrimps tempuras. There were a few others, I ordered that only once but honestly, it was a treat. A few of the skewers, but don't get the chicken skin. It's not as crispy as I would like it to be. Udon soup, it's like a kids size bowl that's the size of the palm of a hand. I would not order: Tuna (something was off) Chicken skin (very squishy. Not crispy at all) Yellowtail (bit sour?) Fried chicken What to keep in mind: Every time your waitress comes by, make sure to double check on what's pending and what's been delivered . We had a situation where we had a second order of something we only asked for one order and we were missing four orders. But that was OK because by that time we were so stuffed and struggling to finish our food. There is a penalty if you don't finish all your food so don't overorder . Our waitress really, really amazing, but our hostess was kind of off and some of the other waitresses I was helping our waitress was kinda off too . Our hostess didn't give us enough menus, and the other waitresses were more in a rush, which makes us because it was Christmas evening. The decor was minimalistic and there's free parking out front but because it was Christmas Day we actually parked on the rooftop on one of the garage is nearby . The garage is also free parking.

It was nice that they had "fancier" cuts of fish (Toro, Salmon Belly, Sweet Shrimp, etc) for AYCE but the fish was just alright. Honestly enjoyed eating the sides dishes more (LA Galbi, Miso Beef Belly) than the sushi itself. Rolls were ehh. I didn't like any of them. Hand roll selection was also very limited and the seaweed was very soft. Ambiance and vibes were nice. I enjoyed it. Service was also good. Waiter was very attentive and checked in often.

Pros: Hawaiian rib-eye, grilled shrimp, octopus were flavorful and delicious. Waitress Hanna was friendly and helpful! Also the male servers were friendly and nice! Cons: With all of the emphasis this place made on "presentation" and the quality of the fish, we had high and hopeful expectations! Most fish cuts looked as though it was cut with a butter knife -- extremely uneven, jagged edges, not in slices but in an amorphous blob? For the $57 paid, the meat was also incredibly lackluster. Couldn't believe when they put charred thin pieces of meat you use at kbbq and called it miso beef? Definitely not worth the price tag!!! Really disappointed given all the hype! Other AYCE grill and sushi have the same tasting fish but $20 cheaper.

Great sushi spot with a really nice, modern feel. I came in during a slower part of the day, so the wait was not long. The menu has a good mix of sushi and robata, so there's plenty to choose from. They even have a premium menu! The nigiri was the highlight for me, especially the salmon and tuna. Super fresh and very tasty. The premium options such as toro and sweet shrimp were perfection additions. I also tried a few robata items such as galbi and garlic shrimp, which were very flavorful. Service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out at a good pace. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back!

Went for lunch and were the first ones there. They are still in soft opening but running very smoothly. Service was very attentive and dishes came out quickly. We opted for the $37 AYCE (higher level is $57), good value for variety and quality. Our server Trey and a couple managers checked on us often. By the time we left it was pretty busy. Sleeper hits - agedashi tofu and takoyaki Overall sashimi was good except the shrimp which was super overcooked and dry. Inconsistent cooking on the chicken part skewers. Some good, some over, some under. Mochi ice cream is an extra charge. Typical Dunhuang parking.

Service to order a bit slow bc they were understaffed. Food came out decent timing. Decent sized menu. There's a tier where u can order anything. Wish the hand roll taco sushi came out faster bc the seaweed was soft by the time I got them. I prefer crispy. Other than that, would return. But their waitlist never texted me so I'm glad I went to check if we were up.

An Elite Experience! Finally visited Seven, and it absolutely lives up to the hype! The atmosphere is chic--a perfect blend of modern elegance and intimate dining. As an Elite member, I demand excellence, and the service here is top-tier; attentive without hovering. The ribeye (robata) were a melt-in-your-mouth revelation, perfectly charred and savory. Their toro is so fresh and was impeccably fresh and expertly balanced. This spot is a definite must-try for any serious foodie. Five stars, hands down!

The concept is interesting, and the pricing layout could be worth the time. However, we found chopped plastic on our sashimi, not once but three times. Then when I had ordered oyster mushroom, I was given shiitake mushrooms. The galbi was good from the cooked items. But it's quite serious to not be careful and serve pieces of plastic with the food. A first for us to experience.

We were recommended this place by a friend and were so glad we went there. The place is clean, the service is quick and the staff is nice and friendly. We tried quite a few different types of sushi, nigiri and sashimi - everything was fresh and tasted great. The salmon nigiri was my favorite! The only thing is that there is no dessert. They said they had ice cream but ran out of it and no one's had a chance to go get some. However, they were considering adding more desserts to their menu.

Had a chance to try Seven Sushi & Robata this evening for the first time. They appeared to have changed their menu to where now there is only a $37 and $57 option. We ended up opting for the $37 option as we were interested in trying the $57 option for the toro but didn't think it was worth it for a maximum of 2 pieces. (If you want more, pay $2/piece). Honestly I'm glad that we stuck with the $37 option as I wasn't that impressed with the options available. The rice for all of the sushi dishes was undercooked and "mushy". The rolls were not that impressive and I feel like each of them were lacking an element, or overall very basic for a $37 AYCE sushi price tag. The fried food batter was undercooked at times so items such as the shrimp tempura had raw clumps of batter and lacked seasoning. I will say, the salmon crudos were good, and probably my favorite for the night. I definitely feel like there are other AYCE restaurants that are cheaper and better tasting. I didn't feel like there was a noticeable difference in fish quality, which I was really hoping for at Seven Sushi with the higher price tag. The service was great, and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice. The food came out quick, but just wished the taste and quality was better. Overall okay to try, but will probably not be back.

AYCE - two menu price point $37, $57 2 hour dining period, food waste policy $10 per person for wasted food, 18% goat for parties of 5 or more, kids 5 and under eat free, ages 6-12 half price. every table must be same tier. Toro and sweet shrimp limit 2 per person then $2 per piece The $57 is worth it, especially if you know what you are doing, you'll get well worth your value. We had a great time, here's some things I would recommend and would not recommend: Handrolls: tempting I know, I would advise to order against, OR order last because these are fillers, and the nori gets soggy fast. I ordered one of each, and was not crazy about it, but its not bad, its just makes me full fast. I would not order again: wagyu fried rice - sounds appetizing right? there's not a ton of beef chunks in there, you're literally just eating FR and you're gonna have rice in the nirigi and rolls. Rolls : I only ordered chirashi and seven roll - be careful ordering cream cheese, bc that will weigh you down, UNLESS you have fast metabolism and under the age of 30 and can eat as much cream cheese and spicy mayo as you want, im jealous. HUGE PLUS PRO TIP: they can sear salmon belly, toro, and scallop, all ya gotta do is ask. Great service, lots of people came to check in on us, we came at 6:30p on Saturday and easily got a seat. My personal fav was scallop- it was delicate. Some nigiri pieces were smaller, so you can definitely order up, we ordered in waves because we want to eat everything we ordered which we left no crumbs! also, your welcome! enjoy!

Saw this place on TikTok and thought why not give it a try. It was heavily promoted as a premium, three-tier AYCE sushi experience. We arrived at 7:30 on a Friday, and the wait time was about an hour. Upon receiving the menu, we found out they had changed it to a two-tier menu. We opted for the $57 option. You are only allowed a maximum of 2 pieces of the toro. If you wanted more, you would've had to pay additional money per piece. We tried a lot of items on the menu. The most memorable things are the wagyu fried rice and the truffle salmon. Whenever I was ordering the bluefin tuna, I noticed that I was getting the regular tuna like the other AYCE places. I only received the bluefin tuna in the first round of ordering. Service was not terrible at all. Our server, Trey, was amazing despite it being packed. While the service was fantastic and a couple of dishes were exceptional, I don't really see myself coming back, considering the price and the menu options.

We went here for a birthday party. The environment was super pretty. The service was so nonexistent for a not so packed restaurant. Water refills took forever. We had to flag them down for almost everything. Even when it came out our orders were mixed around and missing. The sushi was looking really nice and tasted fine. But for some reason when I came home I had the runs. I was definitely ill right after eating. My stomach did not feel good at all. I'm not sure what it was but that was all I ate all day. The price point was super expensive but there wasn't anything super special for that price.

Heard there was a new ayce sushi spot with toro on the menu so we decided to go check it out. Seeing how the ayce scene in Houston is elevating we did go in with high expectations. We decided to do the $77 tier with ayce toro nigiri to get the full experience. To start, I do want to say you are getting your moneys worth as you literally make your moneys worth by just eating 7-10 pieces of toro as toro can be pricey at your regular sushi restaurant. We also got several other side dishes like ribs, Brussels sprouts, toro tartare, and your basic selection of nigiri's. My favorite surprisingly was the white fishes including the yellow tail nigiri as well as the scallop dishes. Unfortunately seeing how it is an ayce place the toro quality is a bit on the lower end and we personally did not enjoy the uni and sent it back. The Wagyu fried rice also was probably just rice cooked in regular beef fat. They also did not have salmon belly :(. I would definitely recommend everyone to come try and overall service was good but food overall was just a bit underwhelming. However seeing how it's just a soft opening i have high hopes they will improve and will be back to try in the future !!

Such a great sushi spot! The fish was incredibly fresh, the rolls were beautifully made, and the presentation was perfect. The restaurant was clean and had a nice vibe too. Ben is doing so great - he was so kind, patient, and checked in on us at the perfect times. Honestly made our experience 10/10. Can't wait to come back!

Food good Service bad. Placed our first order with about 6 different plates and twenty minutes later only got a roll. Our Waitress somehow couldn't bring a plate 3 seperate times and brought some of the wrong things. We were waiting 10 min in between plates and we were ordering multiple things at a time because of how long it was taking. I saw other reviews of stuff like that happening maybe this server needs to lock in. I wish the service was better because the food was bomb.

The ambiance of this place is nice and well designed. The service was great but we also went at 3:30pm so it wasn't as packed. It started getting busy around 4:30-5pm but the waiters seemed very attentive. Food was prepared fresh and made to order. We tried the $37 tier of AYCE and we enjoyed it. I was originally super excited to go here because I was really craving ikura nigiri. However after my visit I can say that I won't be back. The service was okay and the restaurant itself was nice but the food was just meh. The interior of the restaurant was nice and they served everything on cute plates but I was disappointed to find out that the premium items on the menu are NOT all you can eat. For the premium items each person only gets 1 order. So if you go with two people, each person can only get 1 order of the premium item. This was not listed on their menu, and I was not told this until I tried ordering more ikura nigiri. Honestly, I would suggest saving your money and going to another AYCE sushi restaurant instead or dropping the money at a regular sushi restaurant and eating your fill of premium sushi there. All I could say at the end was..at least we gave it a try. I wish I could give this a lower rating but their miso pork belly and crudos were nice. Not worth going back.

The ambiance and restaurant front were really cool, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the food just didn't match the setting. The sushi rice was mushy, the fish didn't taste very fresh, and the miso soup was watery with almost no flavor. The shrimp tempura in the hand rolls were stale, and the fried rice was too oily/salty. I also ended up with an upset stomach afterward which really added to the disappointment. The best dishes we tried were the beef belly and the black pepper tuna appetizer. service was also quick and friendly, which I appreciated.

AYCE -- we usually don't dine at these types of places, but honestly we had no idea when we first walked in. Turns out the food was surprisingly delicious and fresh. Recommendations: the chopped scallop sushi, toro jalapeño, rib-eye (surprisingly big portion), oyster mushrooms, and the bluefin toro (2 pieces, limit one order per person). We'll definitely be coming back with the kids!

It's an AYCE place and they offer a three tier price system of $37,$57, & $77. We opted for the $77 because of all the social media ads stating they have all you can eat toro. Let's start with the toro. We did not get that until the end of our meal which was about an hour later. They were busy so it was somewhat understandable but the quality of the toro was poor. My partner literally spit it out. As for everything else it was just mid. The uni wasn't fresh either but a notch better than the toro. You could make a case for coming here if you opt for the $37 tier. I just feel like there's other AYCE sushi places that are much better ( Sushi Masa). Absolutely DO NOT waste your money on the $77 tier. The premium items were not premium at all. A total rip off The place is nicely decorated.

First time at this place with my girl and without a doubt a must come back spot. Fresh sushi with so many options. Price is well worth it and the service is on point. Normally I don't remember the server name but Hoang our server was really great! The food he suggested and his enthusiasm makes me feel like it's a well worth experience. Very fancy ambiance but the wait time was not too fun. Recommend to come on a weekday for a good experience! Will be back!

The food and service were amazing!! It was our 1st time. We had teenagers and they loved it. The food was super fresh. I would definitely go back again.

Second time here and both were great experiences! I know most people come for the fish, but the cooked foods are great too! Hoang was our server tonight and was very helpful and fast! Would recommend.

This would be my second time here, and the food is as satisfying as it was the first time. Loved how friendly the servers are, especially Trey and Meggie. Would definitely recommend, we enjoyed everything on the menu.

We decided to go despite the mixed reviews and it turned out pretty good! The inside was nice and clean and the sushi tasted fresh. Our server was Allison and she was amazing! Her attention to her customers and her job is definitely a highlight. Will be coming back again soon.

Limited menu compared to other places like Sushi Masa and Taizzi. There are no desserts on the menu. Also, no soft drinks included in the price. Service is good and plenty of space inside. The fish is good but not worth it for the price.

I dined at this ACE Restaurant recently, and I couldn't shake the feeling that their "strategy" is to slow down service so you can't order more. I ordered sashimi--something that normally comes out quickly--and it took three hours. Three hours for raw fish. By the time it arrived (or should have arrived), I had already given up. It honestly felt intentional. When a restaurant delays your food this long, you're stuck at the table, too hungry to leave, but also unable to order anything else. It's like they want to keep you waiting so you won't add to your order or ask for more. This isn't just slow service--it's poor strategy and terrible customer experience. If this is how ACE operates, I can't recommend it to anyone. I left frustrated, still hungry, and very disappointed and lost 75$.

We went for lunch, nice ambiance, clean and spacious with friendly wait staff. The food was definitely higher quality than most ayce. I would recommend it. We did the mid tier and it was well worth it

The concept of the restaurant is nice. We opted for the $57 tier that gave us a good AYCE selection. Our server was excellent and friendly. The food came out quickly but some of the sashimi was not fresh at all. Later that night, I become seriously ill and got food poisoning from Seven Sushi.

I loved the environment and the decor was so pretty! Their La Galbi was absolutely delicious! Our server Trey was also phenomenal!! I would come here again and request to have him because of how great he was!

the AYCE was so good! I love the salmon belly! I usually don't get rolls at AYCE but the rolls here were great!

Service was great for being so hectic! Ambiance was pretty loud, great vibes. The kitchen food was ok and the sushi was very disappointing. Rice was over done, so it was like eating thick glue! Chopped spicy scallop was horrible, I think I got sick from it. Scallop was not drained so it was so Fishy.

If I could give a zero for this place, that'll make my day. I ordered nigiri salmon 5 pieces and EACH of them had small bones! The volcano roll was tasted like bottom of the barrel sand paper & chicken skin skewer was all oiled up with grease like a diddy party. beer was the only good thing there. waste of money, but good service tho :)

The food was amazing and our server Trey was so accommodating! The store's vibe and music were also very good. I highly recommend the crunchy roll and the truffle fries! Those were the best items I ordered, the miso soup was really good too.

I'm not usually the type to write reviews but my family and I had such an amazing time at seven sushi that I had to show some love to my server, Hoang. One of the best server I've ever had yet, the food was great but he made it 10x better. Attentive, friendly, warm, fast, everything you want in a sever, he has. I would highly recommend getting their cold appetizers, so so good, their robata was addicting as well, but when you do come in, do yourself a favor and request for hoang, for a pleasant time guaranteed!

We tried it for the first time and the food was great! Definitely a little bit on the pricier side, but it was money worth spent.
