Seven Ten Social

Been coming here for a while and I typically enjoy my experience in full, that said, I am begging that these guys get rid of Jumbo wings and pivot back to normal sized wings. Jumbo wings SUCK! They are massive , tough , way too fatty and you basically have to cook them like a roast to have them cook all the way through. There is absolutely no appreciable gains for the customer with having jumbo wings. Please pivot back to sourcing chickens that were actually hatched from eggs instead of these damn leviathans you guys call chicken !

My daughter made reservations to bowl for her birthday. Upon arrival, her and her brothers were racially profiled. The employee insinuated that she would be responsible “If something happened” He stated that the kitchen was closed early due to it being Sunday. Nothing he stated coincided with the information from the website. My daughter canceled the reservation and was told that she would receive a refund within 5 days. This occurred on 9/7. Today is 9/16. She has yet to receive her money. We have made numerous attempts to contact this establishment but they never answer the phone. Horrible customer service experience! We will never attempt to patronize this establishment ever again! Where is the refund??? Steve, you are the owner and was not present. I stand corrected. Ever Perez is the person who stated that he was the owner and everything I stated regarding his bias, discriminating behavior towards my children is indeed true. I was present. Perhaps a DEI training should take place to ensure that ALL patrons receive the same treatment. We were not late for the reservation and Ever Perez offered her a refund after he claimed he couldn’t accommodate her reservation. Today is 9/24/25 and she has NOT received any refund. Ever Perez stated that she would receive a refund within 5 days. I have recently spoken with Manny and he is working to resolve this issue. He has demonstrated professional and effective communication.

This is a place you want to go to have some good food and some bowling fun! Let’s talk food. We walk in and got bar seats, but there are also are some booths available. We ordered crinkle cut fries and smash burgers—both were DELISH!!! Good selection of various local brews on tap. Glasses are cold and I would recommend the Dovetail Vienna Lager. Staff is nice, good service, nice clean bathrooms, food came pretty fast. Recommended!!! 10/10

Wonderful local establishment! It's a great bar with excellent and dynamic beer list. But they also have wonderful pub food options, and plenty of healthy stuff, too! I love the avocado-mango salad! But best of all, the service is fabulous and it is rarely crowded. The bowling is fun, too!

The price to bowl was like $60 bucks and the wings were over cooked and dry the drinks were very average and they don’t play any diverse music it was Rock all night so if you’re looking for a boring time this is the place to go their lanes were made in the 1800 the pins have strings on the so good luck

Bartender was nice and professional. We were served our drinks. As soon as we were considering ordering food, we found this cockroach at the bar and changed our minds. I, personally felt sick to my stomach. The pricings for bowling was too high on certain days and weekends. When finished bowling, we were under the impression that somebody would take and clean the bowling shoes at the end of the bowling session. Turns out attendees are expected to put them in a bucket and spray the shoes down with disinfected spray. I, personally, won’t consider coming back.

This was a very disappointing time for Class of 1974 trying to enjoy our meet and greet. Friday July 26, 2024. Our committee had paid and sign a contact to rent this venue out from 6:30 - 8:30 for us. Upon arrival 5:30 - 6:30 notice another group in the area. The manager Antonio assured us they would be rapping up by 6:30. Well 6:30 came they began giving out awards or what ever and taking pictures. They moved out the area where the bowling lanes where but not the area where the tables and shoes where. Also, the took several group pics (at least 30 people) in front of the bowling shoes so we couldn’t even get our shoes. After pictures they continued in that area we rented socialize and talking very loud. We all came to the conclusion that this was a deliberate act of disrespect. We can even say honestly it was a case of racial profiling. Yes the bowling team were white individuals and we were older senior citizens black individuals. We believed the manager was afraid to enforce to them they had to leave the area because it has been rent to another party. So needless to say we were very disappointed and will never plan any social gathering here again. We also took to social media about this incident.

It's a nice place it have an restaurant,bar and it's very reasonable $30 for 6 including da shoe's..u can't beat that with a bat.. LOL.. didn't eat anything so I can't say what da food is like..

It's been over 10 years since I've been here, so I was really excited to be back and see what changed and what stayed the same. Overall, it's a pretty good place to go bowling. They charge by time instead of game, which I can't really decide if I prefer or not. They charge $1 per minute, so it's $60 for an hour. With just two people, we got through like 3.5 games, which I think is pretty decent. The pins do kinda take a lot of time to reset. I like that on the screen they have how fast your ball went, which pins you knocked down, and how many. They also have the timer up on the screen, so you never have to guess how much time you have left. It was a very intimate and cute atmosphere. Didn't get to try the food, but their menu looked really good! My only gripe would be for the staff to be a bit more attentive/readily available. The bumpers were still up on our lane, we wanted them down, and we couldn't find the guy who helped set us up until like 35 minutes into the game. Very kind staff, though!

Son's friends mom takes kids here to bowl (not at night) and mom and dad can enjoy a drink before picking up :) My son always has a good experience. They have a decent seating area. They can accommodate a small birthday party. Friendly staff. Kid friendly obviously.

You really can't beat a bowling alley in the neighborhood, so just for location I highly recommend checking it out. I only bowled so I can't review food or drinks. My only gripe is that the lanes are charged $1 per minute and it takes a while for the pins to reset between turns, so if you're in a group this will get expensive. But overall nice vibes and friendly staff.

Me and a couple of friends met there just to eat. The food is pretty good and worth the price. We got chicken wings & burgers and drinks. Unfortunately, fries are separate, but it is a huge size. Easily able to split with 2-3 people. The staff is very friendly. We came on a Sunday afternoon, for a better chance of parking out front. The front area, is for those who choose to dine in & the back area is where the bowling alley is located. It's kinda noisy, but you can still hear your conversations.

We haven't been back yet--we plan to--but updating my review simply because the manager reached out to me. It means a lot that somebody cares.

One of those: "I can't believe I've lived in Hyde Park for XX years without coming here," kind of experiences. Eight bowling lanes that rent by the our, creditable bar food that you order from a kiosk, plenty of beers on tap. If you take your kids, as we did, try to snag one of the lanes where they can put up the gutter bumpers, and one of the chrome ball ramps. Also try to go on the early side: by the time we left around 8 on a Saturday night this was turning into quite a raucous scene. The automatic pin setter was buggy, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. (If you are coming for grown-up bowling, I assume you want to take the opposite of all of my advice, but I'll leave that as an exercise for those younger and cooler than me.)

I loved that this bowling alley was well lighted! I feel like most bowling alleys are dark and dank, this one wasn't. I also like the pricing, its by the lane with free shoes and no added fees. That feels pretty fair. As far as food, we have a caeser salad, sliders, chicken tenders and fries and all was very good. Service was friendly and attentive. Not so crowded and a great family friendly vibe on a friday at 7pm. Will def go back

Let me take back my previous review. This place has stepped up their game. With the signage about ordering your food at the bar in a prime location, my experience was very positive. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about pairing beers with my food order. I ordered poutine which you don't see on any menus on the Southside. So good I ordered a second serving to go.

Bowling was reasonably priced for a big group during the week. The service was ok, but workers seem to close the lanes at their discretion and only let us play for 1 hr. They preferred to close down early (by 9:30pm). The place was nice and clean, and there is a bar and grill connected to the bowling alley.

I'm super excited for whatever comes to this spot next. Seven Ten used to be one of my favorite spots on the Southside. Pool, good beer choices, and pretty good bar food. The wings were always a favorite, so I was thrilled to see that the now far too limited menu includes wings and tenders. (I will miss the pizza and the nachos). I had been craving wings all week, and decided I'd grab a beer and check this place out. Walking in was bittersweet; I immediately wanted to play pool and wondered about some of the wait staff who had worked at the old spot. I got my beer-- not very good, but all my old faves are no longer on tap-- and ordered the Buffalo wings. I took one bite and thought a mistake had been made. I asked the bartender if they were the Buffalo wings. He looked sheepish as he said they were indeed, and asked if they weren't spicy enough. I said they were spicy enough but disgusting. His response says it all: "I know, I'm sorry." Turns out he usually tells people to order the tenders instead, and with no sauce. He says the chicken itself is good, it's just the sauces that are terrible. I asked about the burger and he said that's pretty good as well. After that single bite of the wing-- and despite not having eaten anything in almost 24 hours-- I couldn't stand the thought of trying something else and being disappointed. I said next time I'd try the plain tenders or the burger. He was really nice, which is the sole reason for the single star being accurate. I will give this place 2 more tries-- one for the burger and one for the tenders-- but right now I'm anticipating disappointment. And I'm starving.

I'm disappointed in the service. I've never been asked to buss my own table. The attendant was nice but lazy as hell. My gf literally had to bring the bus tub over to our table.

This place is incredible, especially for events. We rented the whole back area for bowling for a company party. It was SO adorable. Manny was absolutely AMAZING to work with as an event coordinator (honestly he's a lot of what made this experience so over the top good). The food was good, we had a lot of options for what to provide, the wait staff was attentive and friendly, the bar staff were SO friendly and fast. Everyone loved the event. 10/10. Such good vibes. Literally don't know why this place has bad reviews.

Took a big group here without calling ahead. It was not peak business times, but even so, all of the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Small but good selection of beer. Really liked the Nashville hot wings and fries!

Stopped in for the first time since covid and the remodel. Son had the chicken sandwich, liked it. Wife and I split the wings, dry. They had some type of glaze that was sweet and good. Fries were tasty too. Liked the old layout more but look forward to enjoying the patio next spring.
