These Are the Twin Cities Restaurants That Have Closed in 2019 So Far | Eater Twin Cities

"I noted that Seventh Street Social will close after nearly six years on St. Paul's West 7th to become an event center; the family-owned restaurant overcame tepid early reviews to serve burgers, a broad array of beer taps, and comfortable service and will remain open through September 29 for farewell visits." - Eater Staff

Our experience at Seventh South Waterfront was truly exceptional. The food exceeded every expectation. The golden beet salad was a standout—served with the dressing on the side, allowing just the right balance of flavor, and the hint of grapefruit added a refreshing, elegant touch. My husband enjoyed the Branzino, beautifully presented and even more delightful in taste. I had the red snapper accompanied by lobster risotto, and both were so memorable that I would gladly order them again. My husband also savored a glass of the house red wine, which paired wonderfully with the meal. A sincere thank you to the team for such a wonderful dining experience!

This place is a gem. Deep, full flavors. We loved everything we tried, and we'll definitely be back! The entire staff was friendly and attentive. Chef Mike & his kitchen are flavor masterminds, and Jorge was a great server.

Great experience at Seventh South Waterfront. Small place with a great view and a nice atmosphere. Very kind personnel and a warm place. Amazing service. A little bit expensive but still OK. The food was in small portions but very tasty. Strongly recommend the calamari and the octopus. The salads were also good. In summer time it is too hot to sit outside but the view is great even from the inside.

I took my wife and daughter for their birthday dinner here. Our server Mike did a fantastic job suggesting meals and drinks to make the evening special. My steak was perfect, and they had these potatoes that had cheese layered into them. They were so tasty!! We will be going back to enjoy the waterfront and enjoy the delicious food!! Thank you Mike and team for making that evening beyond perfect for all of us!!

Seventh South was on our must try list - so we did. The service was great and the food was wonderful. We all tried different dishes and appetizers. All the food was well presented, cooked perfectly, and tasted even better.

Starting from the Old Fashioned (Basil Hayden) the Octopus, the Beet salad to the Red Snapper, it’s been an amazing experience. WOW! A must in Naples. And our server Jorge was excellent!

My wife and I had an unplanned weekend getaway to Naples, FL, back in September. We visited the Seventh South Waterfront for lunch, and it was a fantastic dining experience. Located just over a mile from the Naples Botanical Gardens, the restaurant boasts an incredible view that sets the stage for a leisurely meal. As we walked towards the restaurant shortly after parking, we noticed they had outdoor seating right along the canal, which really enhanced our experience by allowing us to enjoy the lovely Florida weather. The service was attentive and friendly. Lauren, our server, provided excellent recommendations for our appetites at the moment and ensured a smooth experience from start to finish. For my meal, I had the tuna poke bowl, which was it was flavorful. It came with sushi rice, cucumber, avocado, wasabi mayo, unagi sauce, furikake, and fried shallots. My wife had the grilled red snapper, which came with preserved lemon risotto, sautéed baby spinach, tomato relish, and lemon beurre blanc. Both dishes were the perfect fit for the time of the day. Overall, our lunch at Seventh South Waterfront exceeded our expectations. With its delicious food, stunning view of the waterfront, and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
