"The restaurant at the luxurious little hotel The Alpine Retreat has a rather intimate and private feel to it. In a chic setting that combines modern design and Alpine charm, diners choose two, three or four courses from a short menu. The dishes, such as two kinds of ravioli in a nut butter foam with brassato and mascarpone, and sautéed spinach, are made with predominantly regional ingredients. Tip: Don't miss out on your chance to try the Austrian speciality Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake)! The good food is complemented by very friendly, attentive and professional service and an excellent selection of wines." - Michelin Inspector

Absolutely divine! We loved our cozy and well appointed room with views for miles. Most of all, we loved the food - thank you Marius. Each course was planned to perfection - we looked forward to each meal so much. Also the homemade chocolates after dinner were perfection. Walking into town on the forest path was sublime. Amazing stay - thanks to all the staff who couldn't do enough to take care of us.

Disappointing experience for the price (1700 euros per night). Within the first 30 seconds of entering our room, we found what appeared to be an ecstasy pill on the floor, which was alarming. Five days later, the staff informed us it was actually a sleeping pill, but this was still unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. On the positive side, the restaurant was nice, and the food was excellent. However, some bottles of wine and champagne were heavily overpriced—three times their real value. This is a tiny hotel, not a nightclub. The staff seemed stressed and unable to resolve simple issues like non-functional speakers or Netflix, both advertised amenities. They never worked actually. The room was overly warm with no temperature control, and cleanliness was below standard for the price (dust on the headboard and gym floor seems to be clean once a month). While the location is lovely, the value for money was significantly lacking compared to other luxury hotels we’ve stayed at. Would not return.

We stayed 5 nights at this amazing place. And from the minute we arrived it was a great experience. The hotel itself is cozy and beautifully furnished. The rooms are very big and well appointed and the spa and pool are great after a day on ski. An the food is exquisite. But what makes the stay extra memorable is the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that the entire team creates around you and the impeccable service they provide - they are truly great hosts.

This hotel is perfect. We loved every moment; from the beautiful location in the mountains (with spectacular views) to the well appointed and spacious rooms, complete with log fire and huge bathtub. The sound system also deserves a mention, with speakers throughout. |All staff were so polite and spoke amazing English. They could not be more helpful. The ski lockers are slick and they pick you up straight from there and take you to the lift in their fancy cars ;) |The restaurant was incredible. We LOVED all the dishes that came out. We are 3x nights in the restaurant and never got bored of it. |Can’t wait to come back!!

Severin*s is the exactly as it says a luxury alpine retreat, a boutique hybrid chalet hotel that basically has the best of both worlds. The intimacy of a chalet but the services of a luxury 5 star hotel. With only nine suites and a 4 bedroom residence it is small with a strong team so you are really well looked after. The suites are huge so real feeling of space all with their own living room as well as bedroom. At times we felt like we were the only guests. The food is incredible and real experience and dinner is included in the rates (just like a chalet)

We stayed a full week here in a junior suite. The room was immaculate and service exceptional. Dinner each night was unique and varied in the menu choices. The chef came from the Omnia in Zermatt. I would say the only negative is the somewhat remote location in Stubenbach, which is about 2km from Lech, which is quiet itself compared to other ski towns. However, they run a complimentary shuttle anytime you ask. Lech is a very quiet sophisticated ski area. As idyllic as anywhere I’ve ever been. Severin’s, along with a couple of other local hotels, is the cream of the cream, and really takes care of you.

We just came back from a family skiing holiday spent in Lech, and we can’t stop thinking about a wonderful experience we had at Severin’s Hotel. The hotel is more of a luxury chalet, offering 9 top notch designer suites, with cutting edge technology, immaculate service and alpine refined dining. ||Our family suite was just wonderful, with an amazing bunk bed for kids, spacious lounge and bedroom, beautifully designed bathroom and a terrace. Our lounge area was had a lovely fireplace and had classy Minotti furniture, and our suite had 4 (!!!!) Loewe TVs (each kid’s bunk bed had its own tv). The room is fully equipped with cutting-edge technology, each room had its own music system with 4 channels and option to connect it to Bluetooth. Out suite was always immaculately clean and well organized, thanks to professionalism of Elena and her team. ||Severin’s Hotel is located In Stubenbach, just a couple of minutes drive away from Lech, its numerous skiing slopes and fancy apres-ski vibe. The hotel shuttle team drives you anytime anywhere and takes care of your equipment, so that was absolutely not an issue for us. Nicely equipped heated skiing room located in the garage area makes it very easy to get on and off the shuttle. We found it also handy that the shuttle was taking us to different locations, so we were able to drop off the kids in one place and go skiing in a different place, as the area has many lifts and pistes to offer. With a ski in-ski out imho you are definitely more dependent on the place you stay. Thank you to Mirko and his colleagues (sorry we don’t remember all names) for always being there for us, professional, helpful and friendly.||The minibar was included in the room rate, so we always had soft drinks and snacks, coffee and selection of teas available for us.||The food and beverage was impressive and makes Severin’s Hotel a destination of its own! The breakfast and dinner are included in the rate, as well as a welcome glass of champagne and a bottle of chilled Bollinger in the room upon arrival. The dining room is beautiful, very cosy and warm, making it always enjoyable to have dining experience there. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they knew and respected our preferences and were always able to cater to any requests in a very professional and understanding way. The breakfast was served a la carte, with the menu changing every second day, and included such refined dishes as poached eggs with black truffles, chia protein bowl, avocado-salmon plate, etc. The dinners were served also from a la carte menu and were prepared by an award-winning Chef, every night it was a wow experience. Not to forget to mention the vast wine selection and sommelier Anton, always there to assist you and help with your choice. During the stay we had as well 1 fondue dinner, 1 gourmet-menu dinner and 1 Austrian-themed dinner, so it never got boring and we always had something new to try and indulge in.||The hotel has a very nice and spacious spa area, with a swimming pool, 3 saunas (including infrared sauna), steam bath and experience showers, just perfect after a busy skiing day! ||We would like to say one more time thank you to Cecily, Mark and all the team of Severin’s Hotel for their friendliness and commitment to create memorable guest experience, we are definitely looking forward to be back next year and enjoy all the luxury experiences this lovely and secluded alpine hotel has to offer! :)

The hotel is very fine, lovely rooms, great food and good facilities - But the price you pay is to high and the service you get when book this hotel does not meet our expectations of a top class hotel. The staff is trying to do their best, but it is not yet good enough. An example: There was rotten fruit on the table in our room upon arrival.
