Excellent burgers! I had the “Pony Up” burger and it was fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Fries were just okay, but the burger more than made up for it. We sat outside, which was a nice vibe, though there were a lot of gnats that evening. Zackary was our server and he was great—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Went for dinner with my wife, sister, and brother-in-law, and we all enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere, great service, and definitely worth checking out.

We had the Patriot burger and the buffalo chicken rangoons. The burgers were well cooked and the rangoons were the best thing I've had in forever. There was plenty of seating inside and out. All the staff was very friendly and the wait was short. Would definitely recommend and would go back.

It's a good burger. So if you are looking for a not fast food burger, this definitely is a solid option. Could it be better.....? Yes, let's talk about that. I got the Chili burger. It was a decent burger, but either the Chili wasn't fresh or they used leftover burger patties. I'm not sure which, but something had that refrigerator taste. It was still good, but .. eh. Could have used a little more kick, I kinda feel they used a Chili starter or just a generic recipe. Throw some bell peppers, jalapeños, smoked paprika, something to add a kick. The burger was cooked as ordered, so 0 complaints. The fries were crispy and salty, no complaints there. Cheese Sticks, were really good and actually the start of the show. Service was good, everyone was friendly and it was clean. 10☆ 😆 Limited seating, though, so don't plan that wedding party here. Pros: Good burgers, friendly staff, clean, good selection Cons: Chili was meh, seats are a little tall if your wife is only 4', limited parking, limited seating.

The atmosphere was very laid back and open seating outside with plenty of elbow room away from the other tables. Friendly staff. I had the hangover burger with fries and a side salad with the strawberry vinaigrette. Everything tasted phenomenal and fresh! Will be back again. Sister got the Patriot burger with gluten free bun and she said the bun tasted good and didn't taste like the generic gluten free bun.

We loved this place. My husband heard about it on Knoxville Foodies. It didn’t disappoint. Sat outside and so pleasant and seating was actually comfortable and lots of it. Hand made mozzarella sticks were divine and the hamburgers were hand patted and also delicious. I tried the Ice Pick drink which was smooth and fantastic and my husband had a Sevierly old fashioned and he thoroughly enjoyed them. All around a great visit to a new venue

Sevier Avenue Beer Company offers a pleasant experience. The food was good, and the service was notably quick. The staff were friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Outside, there are games available, which can be a nice addition. Overall, it's a solid spot with good vibes.

Been a few times now.. and it’s become an area favorite. Great burgers! That Nashville Hot chicken sandwich though is phenomenal.

My best friend and I rode our motorcycles up here from Chattanooga to check out this place. OMG it is really good food,atmosphere and our server was Natalie she was amazing reminded me of my daughter. I forgot what burger I got, but it had barbecue sauce on it bacon tomatoes, and it has a really nice bun on it although I did tell Natalie that for me the bun is too much and she suggested next time do a lettuce wrap, which is perfect for me. Anyway, it was well worth the two hr ride . If you want a really great burger come visit them. They've got outside seating so it's dog friendly. Just a really great place.

We stopped here for burgers. Hopped on Yelp and saw the reviews and knew we had to try it out. We were very lucky to catch them between lunch and dinner so it was on the calmer side to order and enjoy our meals. I can see this place being a hot spot because it started to fill up quick. The waitress was amazing. We had an amazing conversation with her. She made it feel like we were going to a friends restaurant and having some of the best burgers. Everything is made pretty fresh and you can tell the details are there. The burger is very well priced for the amazing burger you get honestly It was worth way more than the price indicates. I do appreciate the deal though. The chef even makes his own pickles.. that's attention to detail. Note the burger is huge.. I could have easily split it with someone else and walk away pleasantly full. The restaurant has a bar, dining room and another room next to the bar area. It is very clean and they played tvs with the sports games on but they weren't too loud like most other places we have been which is nice.

Food was okay this time. The Classic Chicken Sandwich was lacking flavor in the batter. The burger and grilled chicken sandwich were just okay. Service was really slow for what seemed like a pretty chill crowd. Ambiance was good but lacked shaded area for a really hot, sunny day! Maybe this was just an off visit, because we've had good visits in the past, but thought I'd share!

Wish they were consistent. Catch them early in the day foods good. Burgers come out fresh, same with fries. Wouldn't recommend going there after 7:30. Every time I have it's either messed up orders, cold fries or mediocre burgers.

A great spot with great burgers! My fiancée and I dined here last night and really enjoyed it. It's connected to the brewery, Alliance, so it's a perfect place to grab a beer and burger. I ordered the "Definitely Not Kosher" and my fiancée got the "Pony Up." Each burger is around $14 dollars including fries so the prices are reasonable as well. Both burgers were delicious! The meat was juicy and flavorful and the buns were perfectly soft. The service was fantastic as well. We will for sure return!

We love Sevier Ave. Burger Co. The food is always so delicious! The service is always top notch. Love that they have a nice outdoor dining experience as well.

I stopped by for a quick bite and ordered a cheeseburger for the kids. I also had the opportunity to try the Patriot burger. While the place is small and the service was a bit slow, the burger itself was fantastic. I loved the style, flavors, and unique toppings. Unfortunately, the bun was holding it back. It was too thick and did not complement the burger as well as it could have. If they could improve the bun, the burger would be one of the best I have had in the eastern United States. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area.

Tried this spot while out thrifting. My wife and I are huge burger lovers. I got the hangover burger and my wife got the Swiss country burger. We upgraded our fries to specialty fries for an extra $2 charge. I chose the poutine fries and she got the classic American loaded. Service was good and food came out within 5 minutes. My burger didn't come with lettuce or tomato but I added it. Mine was good. Just wish the egg had been runny. The poutine fries were so so. Just had brown gravy and large chunks of cheese. Not bad just not anything special. My wife said she really enjoyed her burger. I tried her fries and I wasn't impressed. The cheese that was melted in them was like a shredded cheddar but it wasn't stretchy. They were served with sour cream and they had bacon bits on them. Pretty basic. The meal was about $34 and that was with me getting a water. Would I go back? Probably but there's a few other burger spots around the area I would go to. It's in a nest area with a lot going on and definitely has the hipster vibe.

The chicken tenders were over cooked. The Mac and cheese was dry. The chicken sandwich did not taste like real chicken - more processed than I thought for the price. The fries were good and the bacon jam on my burger was good. The service was good. The chairs are small for people with medium sized bottoms

Had the Patriot burger. Service was good and the attendant was helpful. Burger was unremarkable. Had no distinctive flavor. Rather bland. Five Guys or Sonic have much better burgers. Fries were fries; nothing outstanding but portion was generous. The restaurant itself is small. Nice patio but maybe not so good in bad weather. For a tasty burger, I'll go elsewhere next time.

We have been here three times now and the food is always amazing!! The aesthetic is really cool. We love the service, the staff is always friendly and attentive. I got the gluten free bun on my burger and it was still 10/10!!

First of all Judy the server was amazing. She was kind and so sweet. My kids wanted to adopt her as their grandma. We are from Az and there were some good burger places out there. In and Out was probably the best but man this place blows that out the water and into space. I had the Pony I believe it was called and it was amazing. I live when burgers have even amount of toppings to meat and this was one of those occasions. The kids had cheeseburgers from the kids menu and they weren't kid size. You definitely get more than what you pay for here. The place has an option for inside/outside seating. We went in October and it was perfect weather to sit outside. We had mozzarella sticks and they were good as well. Over all a fantastic place to eat and we will definitely make this our burger place to go

Amazing burgers, good drinks and I love the location. They have quite a few different burgers to chose from, along with starters. Their mac & cheese and the fries are also awesome. Being on Sevier avenue, there's lots of other breweries and bars to stop by with only a short walk. The servers/bartenders here are always very kind, welcoming and quick. The place has an overall very chill vibe.

I ordered the Pony Up with truffle parm fries and it's gotta be one of the best meals I've ever had. I was still hungry afterwards so went ahead and ordered the Buffalo chicken Rangoon and oh my goodness, I've never had something so delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Drinks were amazing! Deviled Eggs were trash. The bacon on top of the deviled eggs were saltier than your grandma's grits. I don't recommend them. Left such a terrible aftertaste, I'm not getting food there and just going to better bars around the area. Service was ok. and the strawberry salad was mid. Those deviled eggs were so bad, they've lost a customer sheesh

I don't usually post things like this, but I feel like it's important to share my recent experience. I visitSevier Ave Burger Co.Co. as a paying customer, simply trying to enjoy a meal and support a local business. Unfortunately, I was treated with complete disrespect by an employee(manager) named Holly. All I did was politely ask for the bill and then Holly started talking to me-and out of nowhere, she began verbally harassing me. Holly told me that she was very drunk, on the job. She was kind at first until I told her what I did for work. I told her that I work in sales and she proceded to yell in the restaurant "you like to scam people for a living" and "youre just so pretty you can sell anything. She cursed at me and insulted me personally for what I do for a living. I was stunned. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially not while dining out and minding their own business. I'm truly disappointed and hope the management takes this seriously. Customers should never be subject to verbal abuse, no matter the situation. There's no excuse for that kind of behavior. Sevier Ave Burger Company, please do better. Your staff reflects your values, and this kind of treatment is unacceptable

The food was to die for it was so good!! I enjoyed the food and the vibe of the place is super cute! Great for pictures! The blonde bartender/server was amazing and helped us out whenever we needed! Definitely recommend!!!

First off, loved the vibe and that they were playing Bobs Burgers! Second, our food was delicious! Already craving another burger from there! Service was good- waitress was super sweet! 10/10 in quality of food

I called to place an order to go. They let me know over the phone that they couldn't do that. So I tried to find their website, which took me to Facebook and yelp. I called back to ask (since I was driving very far out of my way to try this restaurant). How to place it to go order online and after telling me, I asked was there no way she could take my order over the phone and when she said no, it's against our policy ?!?!! When I TRIED to proceeded to say this really makes me not want to purchase with you all at all. She hung up on me before I even got a chance to finish what I was saying. Definitely will never be eating here if this is how rude their employees are over the phone and what their policies like. It looks like people would want business?

Loved this place! I had The Hangover, my husband had the Rim Reaper, and we shared some buffalo chicken rangoons and it was all fantastic. Overall the restaurant seemed clean, staff was fairly friendly, and bathrooms were clean. Couldn't give 5 stars because our server was not the friendliest or most attentive but she may have just been having a bad day. Would absolutely go back though.

Yo! I was craving a burger and I'm a guy who likes to find interesting places to eat. This place is great! I got a mushroom swiss burger. They have their version forgot the name, my bad. It's flipping deliciousness! I didn't have the luxury to stay and eat there but let me tell you what I think is the most impressive part of all this. CLASS! They ponderosa the bun my friends! Stopped in for dinner. They have a nice patio that is dog friendly as well as a cute indoor dining area. We had the pups with us, so we opted for the patio. Service was very efficient and friendly, and we were quickly presented with our food and drinks. They have a nice range of beers and cocktails here as well as soft drinks. Their smashburgers are tasty and a good size and come with fries. A great value. You can also upgrade your fries to one of the fancier versions, I had the truffle fries and they were so crisp and tasty. The dogs loved being outside with us, and also the tasty tidbits were shared from our burgers and fries. The vibe is super laid back and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my visit to Sevier Ave Burger Co. I ordered the chicken sandwich. It was a large fried chicken breast that was tender and juicy - perfectly cooked. I ordered both the mac and cheese side, as well as the loaded potato salad, both of which were tasty. Our server, Terrance, took great care of us. He was very attentive and communicated great (i.e. making sure we knew there was a small upcharge for the side I chose, when the food was coming, etc.) All in all, I enjoyed the experience and will be back soon. Highly recommend!

I stopped in to check the burger menu and saw that, like the classic SNL skit with John Belushi, you could only order a cheeseburger here. No hamburgers. But it wasn't a joke here, that's all they offered. Though I LOVE cheese, like 70% of the world population I can't eat it. I asked the young female server if they offered burgers without cheese and she went on about salads, fries, and other things that I lost track of. So I said, "so you don't have a burger without cheese?" She said she didn't know because she can't remember everything the menu lists, and that this wasn't McDonalds. Really? So I guess she was saying that a cheap fast food restaurant was more obliging to their customers than this specialty burger restaurant was. She did say that I could order any burger without cheese so I asked what the price was for that. She said it was the same price and that that's just the way they did things. It's estimated that 15-25% of whites are lactose intolerant and that Asians and blacks are around 90%, and about 50% for Mexicans. Of course Sevier Burger knows this, so it's hard not to see that these lactose intolerant people are essentially subsidizing the burgers with cheese that the whites are eating, since they have to pay for this cheese even without getting it. And of course this restaurant is profiting and that's their plan. I walked 2 minutes down the street and ate at the Landing House. They have many cheese free dishes where you won't be forced to pay for cheese you won't get. I ordered a great sous vide beef brisket pho that came with several fresh vegetables and house made hot sauce, for the same $13 that half of the burgers at Sevier Burger sell for. It was a full meal and the service was good. When I went back to my car I found it was tampered with. Sevier burger has tables outside in front of the restaurant. My car was parked directly in front of that. My mirror was folded in and my wipers were pulled out. It was dark and there could be more issues. Great place!

We came for dinner, as we've been here once before and had a great experience and raved about it to a friend. So we decided to meet our friend here for a nice dinner. We went inside and asked to sit out. So, they just told us to grab menus and sit outside. We waited about 20 minutes, seeing the server walk past us multiple times. One of our party went inside and asked if they could just put our order in, and were told the server was outside taking orders. We watched her take another group's order that came in and sat AFTER we had been sitting. Going on over 40 minutes, we finally got the server's attention and all they said was they're sorry. By the time drinks and food were ordered, it was over an hour and a half before food even was brought. Extremely disappointed in this establishment, as we were raving about how good it was. Because of this, we will definitely not be back and friends will be told not to come here. How sad. Should've went to Angry Dumpling instead, great service and food there!

We get takeout from Sevier Ave Burger Co. a few times a month! Best burgers around, and the bartender Mazie, she is a SLAY!!! Kind, quick and amazing at her Job! definitely coming back to see her!

Restaurant is still fairly new but it seems like they have it figured out! The burgers are absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. The Pony Up is personal favorite. Food comes out fast and accurate. Staff was very nice and helped me since it was my first time. Nice and clean inside with a fun outdoor area in a cool neighborhood. I would definitely suggest visiting and will be back myself!

Sevier Avenue Burger Company....... This is a hidden gem in Knoxville! Fresh, perfect textured burger meat! I had the Swiss Come True Burger, and my wife had The Patriot. Both were spectacular! The meat is from Indiana and a known farm. They had excellent flavor and perfect texture, i.e., great chew and mouth feel! Oh, and all burgers come as doubles...so be ready to eat! As a point of note, I read a review that the truffle and loaded fries were not good. As always, I took that as a data point, but I had to be sure so.... We ordered both...Wow was that review WRONG!! The fries were GREAT!! The fries were hot, crisp, and well-seasoned! The loaded fries had cheese, bacon, and a side of sour cream. Quite nice! My wife ordered the truffle fries, and they were also crisp, hot, and well-seasoned. The bread was the perfect vessel for conveying the burger. It held up well but was NOT the star of the show...that was the job of those fantastic burgers! If you have not stopped by, YOU NEED TO GO!! Food will definitely get better with time. The apps are not great as you can see here with the "loaded" fries which are very sad looking. I've also tried the Parmesan truffle fries and all I can taste is the blowtorch they used to melt the cheese with.
