SGC Chicken & Seafood

I’ve been seeing SGC Chicken and Seafood all over my timeline for a long time and finally decided to try it. I’m honestly mad it took me this long. Everything we ordered was full of flavor. The oysters were seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. The salmon egg rolls were made with real salmon and you could taste the quality immediately. No shortcuts at all. The jalapeño cream corn deserves its own shoutout. That side alone is a 10 out of 10. Creamy, flavorful, and balanced with just the right amount of heat. Customer service was top tier and it's enough room in the lobby to sit down and eat. It's not big but cozy Overall, the food was fresh, well seasoned, and clearly made with care. If you’re in Atlanta and looking for a solid seafood spot that actually lives up to the hype, this place is worth pulling up to.

They have delicious food here! We ordered the charbroiled oysters, a buttered lobster roll and the brussels sprouts. The lobster and oysters were cooked perfectly. The Brussels sprouts were fabulous and had a delicious sauce on them. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant. It was clean too.

Every time I have orderedmy food is hot,fresh and flavorful. You will not be disappointed. My go to is the fried shrimp with loaded Brussel sprouts OR the crab cake blt with garlic butter crab fries.

This was my first time visiting after seeing their turkey smashburger all over social media. I came specifically to try it, but when I got to the counter, I was told it’s only available on Wednesdays. A little disappointing, but I decided to go with the hot honey chicken sandwich instead. The flavor was excellent fresh, hot, and made to order but it was definitely messy to eat. The fries were really tasty and some of the bed I have had in a while. The atmosphere inside was just okay, though it could use some improvement. The tables felt a bit dirty, and the condiments (salt, pepper, ketchup, hot sauce) on the table felt so unclean. Honestly, the shakers were kind of gross to touch. Switching to glass salt and pepper shakers might make it easier to keep things wiped down and sanitary. I'll come back for the turkey smash burger. 🙂

Spent $150 was still hungry. Garlic crab fries had no flavor. $44 for a dozen oysters and half the oysters were nonexistent. The lobster roll was smaller than the palm of my hand for over $20 but it was the best thing we ordered. I was super excited for oyster after seeing them all on tik toc

The owner and staff very friendly and attentive . Atmosphere very pleasant and the food is totally fresh and delicious alone with the mango lemonade! Them lemon pepper wings crispy and well seasoned This place is 10/10

After countless visits I’m still amazed and HOOKED! Every item I’ve tried is delicious. Shrimp, lobster, fries, you name it. It’s become a staple in my Powder Springs dining choices. If you don’t come try them you’re missing out! (Pic of fried lobster roll and lemon pepper ranch shrimp basket)

I’ve been wanting to try this place forever, and I’m so glad I finally did! The garlic butter lobster rolls were amazing, so flavorful and cooked just right. The lemonade was super refreshing, definitely a 10/10. Shoutout to Austin for the awesome customer service! He was super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

The service from the staff was great (you don't really run into that anymore.) but the food was even better! My first time I visited was with my sister and It's my second time back today and it was just as great as the first time! I'll put a photo for each visit. In the first pic it's garlic butter crab fries, two oyster Rockefeller and a lobster and crab oyster! Second photo is garlic butter crab fries and 5 wings with oyster rockerfeller. The restaurant's ambiance was nice and it was clean!

My visit to SGC Chicken and Seafood was amazing. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. The service was perfect, and my order didn't take too long to cook. I tried the salmon egg rolls and jumbo shrimp, and they were so good that I regretted finishing them because I wanted more. I also had the most amazing turkey smash burger and it was soooo good!! I'm already looking forward to returning to try everything else on the menu. Highly recommended!!

First time diners but won't be our last. We ordered fried shrimp with jalapeño creamed corn and blackened salmon cakes with onion rings. Everything was delicious; however the salmon cakes were slightly greasy. I also got the mango peach lemonade (delish!). The portion sizes were just right. Our bellies were happy. The staff was delightful. The one thing I should add is the cashier was welcoming but didn't know the menu. We assumed she was new. The kitchen staff made up for it by coming forward to answer our questions. The restaurant is in a perfect location open to a brewery next door. There is inside and outside dining. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and were glad we had driven the distance to check them out. We're rooting for this small black-owned business. We will be back.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted. Ordering was easy and, who I assumed was the owner, was very pleasant. The storefront is nice with seating, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. The food!!! The food!! I ordered the salmon eggrolls, catfish sandwich and Philly salmon fries! I was not disappointed by anything! The bottom bun on the fish sandwich did soak up the grease from the fish, but it was fresh! The salmon eggrolls were my favorite and I would absolutely be back to order more of them and try other items. Would recommend even if you have to take a field trip (I did).

Can't recommend enough!!! The food is exceptional we had the lobster roll, Cajun salmon cakes, bang bang shrimp roll, fried cat fish and onion rings and everything was wonderful. The owner waited on us and made some recommendations which we followed and wasn't disappointed, everyone who works there is friendly and smiling which is such a change today! The appearance is clean, roomy and perfect for a family meal.

What a wonderful spot. I am not a seafood eater, but I love a good beer and this place connects to a brewery!!! The salmon egg rolls were great and the Brussel sprouts were perfect. My hubby loved everything he ordered and ate it all. It is a small place. But the vibe is good. They do a lot of carry out and serve the food in to go containers. Great prices for what you get and EVERYTHING is made to order! It is a walk up self service, but they give you a buzzer for pickup. You can eat there. From the looks of it you can get food from here and grab a beer from the Skint Chestnut brewery and eat on either side. The brewery has outdoor seating and they both have indoor seating! They are not open every day- so check the website.

This place was fantastic! A little expensive, but what did I expect with lobster and crab rolls on the menu? The food was amazing and the owner was really nice and fun to talk to. What was also great was that my friend, who is allergic to shellfish, was able to eat here as they use different fryers for the shellfish and the chicken. % recommend this place.

Customer service is great. The wait time not long. The food is fantastic. The lobster roll is not overcooked. The fish was fried to perfection. The truffle fries were the perfect crunch. The onion rings, the perfect cotton the oysters grilled to perfection not overpowering the lemonades. Not too sweet just right10 out of 10

Fantastic veteran owned and operated seafood/chicken joint in historic downtown Powder Springs! Had their fried lobster roll and crab topped cheese fries!!! Amazing! This venue is also right door to the local brewery which allows outside food to be consumed there. Order your food, have a beer, and you are remotely buzzed when it's ready. Highly recommended!

A little friendliness and warm customer service can go a long way. Unfortunately, that was not my experience as my first time here. First things first: The atmosphere of this restaurant is very modern. I love the setup, the arrangement, and the decor. This restaurant opens up to a brewery next door. That was the reason I smelled beer as I entered the seafood establishment. Back to the service: There was none. There was no greeting at all when we entered. There was one worker who was near the cash register. She did not acknowledge our presence until we were ready to order. She continued to place the little papers on the silver trays. There was another worker who was a little farther back. No greeting from her either. The only sense of warmth and genuineness I felt was from a gentleman who appeared to be on his lunch/dinner break. As he got up from his table, I noticed that he was wearing an apron. He spoke to us as he returned to the kitchen. We live a few minutes away from the restaurant so we got our food to go. I guess if we felt more welcomed then we probably would have stayed. The food here is very pricey in my opinion. Our dinner for two was a price for a dinner for four, so I prayed that I would be blown away by the taste of the food. I ordered a 2pc Whiting Basket with Cajun Fries. My husband ordered a Grilled Shrimp Roll with Cajun Fries. I also got a mix of their Strawberry Lemonade with Sweet Tea. My husband got the Mango Peach Lemonade. The food was pretty good. The tartar sauce for my fish was a little runny, but the heat of the food could have melted it, or that may be the way they do it. I don't know. I got full from one piece of fish so I would have fared better with a 1pc meal instead of a 2pc. My husband said that he would give his food a 7out of 10. Would I return to this place? Maybe. I'm not a big seafood person, but there are other things on the menu that I would be willing to try. However, customer service goes a long way with me, and if I feel like I have inconvenienced you by my presence in your establishment, then I probably won't return.

The food was made to order quick and so delicious! The fries were crispy and the seafood was fresh. I would've preferred the brussels a bit crisper, but the taste was on point. Highly recommend! They accidentally gave us a wrong side and let us keep that one and made the correct one. Excellent service and worth the price! It was quiet because we went straight over from the brewery when they opened!

So, I went to this place last week and ordered a few items to go. The cashier behind the counter wasn't welcoming or friendly considering it's a new establishment. It's nice in the inside! Even though the food was way over priced, I still wanted to support this Black owned business because I understand why the prices are higher than normal in our community. My order was ready in a timely manner but when the man showed me my food before handing it over to me, it wasn't completely what I ordered. When I told him that's not what I ordered, he looked at the receipt and said," well that's what's on the receipt" and handed me my food and walked away. Not wanting to argue with these people, I just left and said "I tried". I don't think I'll be going back. The food was a little too salty but still good.

I have been coming to this spot since it was just the food truck. I have gotten a number of things from the menu and I have not been disappointed yet. When I saw on IG that they had Lobster Mac & Cheese, I knew I had to stop. The food is cooked fresh. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always friendly. They don't serve alcohol, but its adjacent to a brewery. Parking can be tricky, especially if you're not familiar with the area, but even if you have to park next door or across the street, it's definitely worth it.

Smith's Gourmet Creations! Finally! I found you. I've been trying to find this entry on Yelp for a while. I found about them via Skint Chestnut Brewing Yelp reviews. The first TWO times we tried to visit, they were closed even though the hours online indicated that they were open. Disappointed, but didn't hold it against 'em like one of the Google reviewers. I know sometimes small business owners have a lot going on & they really don't seem to have the time to update their hours on vmail, websites & social media pages. I called last week & confirmed that their hours, so imagine my surprise when J & I dropped by Wednesday only to discover they were closed because the of the Powder Springs Seafood Festival. Doh! There was a sign taped to the door letting customers know they'd be back Thu & Fri. The next day, 4th attempt - J couldn't make it until that night & I didn't want to deal with crowds later - so I ventured in by myself. I can't have shellfish (allergies) but I LOOOVE fish. I grew up within 1/2 mile of the Darien & Altamaha rivers and less than 7 miles from the ocean. I had been 'stalking' Chef Antoine Smith's IG photos for weeks & salivating over his foodgasm-inducing photos. I was NOT going to be deterred. Interior / Exterior Broad Street is a 1-way street with limited parking. There were cars parked along Hotel Ave as well. I'm not sure if you're allowed to park in the Bookworm parking lot or at that lot on Murray Avenue. They went with that industrial warehouse aesthetic and the floors were so clean and highly polished that it looked like you could eat off of them! There were a few tables with metal chairs and their dining room opens directly into Skint Chestnut Brewing's brewery space. There's a nice outdoor deck at Skint Chestnut, not much of a view, but the fresh air is nice & you can bring your doggy. They're doing construction overhead, on Hotel Ave, so there was a bit of noisy hammering going on that particular day. I'm sure after 5pm - it's a non-issue. Customer Service Upon entering, there were 3 people waiting on orders. The cashier glanced up, then looked down at her phone. As I stood there, she continued texting. I continued to stand there. She eventually glanced up, then back down & said, "I'll take your order whenever you're ready." I said, "I'm ready now ... or actually, I have some questions." She looks up again & for some reason, she seems annoyed. She told me to go ahead with my questions with quite a 'tone.' I asked her what the difference in price was on the whiting sandwich - $7 versus $10. She explained that it was the basket versus just the sandwich. Then I asked her if the cajun fries were battered or if they were just some sort of cajun seasoning? She cut me off & said, 'It's SEASONED SALT.' I said, 'Ok - so can I just get them plain?' She said yes. When I was typing in my email address for my receipt, she got impatient & printed it so I got both. The cook was very friendly & animated. Cashier did seem to get over her initial irritation because she was fairly pleasant when handing off my food. I asked about menu's omission of the jerk salmon roll & she told me to check the WEBSITE - not social media for the most current menu. To ignore IG & FB because a lot of those are old photos and that it 'confuses everybody.' Food Ultimately, I decided to get a whiting basket, plain fries, no seasoned salt - with the blackened salmon cake eggroll. The cashier did also warn me that the $7 price was one single eggroll and the item in the photo was 2 eggrolls. I told her that was fine. I've had GBS, so I still can't eat big portions of food in 1 sitting but I also didn't want to purchase 2, in case I didn't like them. The eggrolls were delicious. The filling wasn't blackened so the description seems slightly odd. The whiting basket was a swing & a miss. The fries were not 'plain.' They were battered. I specifically asked about this because I don't really like battered fries & I'd noticed in some photos, the fries looked like regular fries sprinkled w/ seasoning & other photos, they looked slightly battered. Plus they were soggy. *They did NOT get soggy during my drive home. I tried 2 fries before I left. The fish looked beautiful, but when I broke off a piece, it was grey & had a super fishy odor - like it was old - which was probably a supplier issue. It happens occasionally. See photos. I wound up having to trash the entire meal. Price / Value I saw the other review about the small portions. Seafood is pretty expensive so I don't think they're overpriced. I did think it was odd that I was charged a 4% convenience fee without being warned about it - but I've noticed a lot of black-owned businesses are doing this now. Overall This visit didn't go as well as I'd hoped, but as a new business AND a small business, I can't conscionably give them less than 3 stars. I think they still have some bugs to work out, but I wish them success and I think they'll do well.

It's Lent, so that means no meat on Fridays. My husband stopped by SGC chicken and seafood for me. I originally wanted to order the jerk, salmon roll and the mac & cheese but they didn't have any mac & cheese left so he ordered me the crab fries instead. My husband ordered the catfish sandwich and lobster fries. Honestly, the food would have been best eaten at the restaurant but unfortunately we had takeout. Overall, the food was really delicious. The jerks sauce was interesting -- it had some heat to it but the base was honey. It was good, but not what I was expecting. The crab fries were really good and I really wish I would've had them fresh instead of 30 minutes later because I feel like I missed the "wow" on those. my husband and I will definitely be back hopefully to dine in. We loved the food and we're always here to support black businesses especially when the food is so good! I will definitely be back to update my review.

I sat here for 30 min to watch customer after customer walk in and get food and never csll me so I walk up to ask and the person behind the counter said its not mu fault ur order wasnt put in never would I go here again rude is not the word I want to use so I say just refund me if u cant get it out he stated ima just refund u this place is new to this area so to have this type of experience on a 1st visit

First the Customer Service was AMAZING! The Uncle running the register treated us like family. He even came to the table and spoke to my sons. Got my 16 year old (today is his birthday) to smile. We ordered the crab fries and salmon roll jerk style. My 8 year old said "This food is too good" as he inhaled the meal. He ate it as if it was the best thing he's ever had in his life. $32 was our total for the 2 plates. If it wasn't just a bday appetizer and we were eating our own meals you will want to multiply that price by 3. The only thing I didn't see were beverages.

One word, three letters: YUM! It was worth the 50 minute commute from the south side. I arrived on a Saturday at around 4pm. It wasn't busy and the wait was no more than 10 minutes. I dined inside and enjoyed my garlic butter grab fries while listening to some throwback jams. The fries were so delicious. I never had a reason to visit Powder Springs but I do now! Honorable mention: the restroom was clean and the coat/purse hook on the back of the door meant a lot to me. I've been to so many establishments that don't have hooks in the restroom. It's the little things.

New favorite place in Powder Springs! Location: it can be hard to spot if you're not paying attention due to it being on like a side street.. Inside: Clean and Organized. Service: I was greeted immediately by the owner and he answered any questions I had about the menu. His uncle was the star for sure! He checked on us consistently and made sure we were okay and made small talk throughout the visit. Wait Time: maybe 10 minutes but everything came out hot and fresh. Food:We ordered a Lobster Roll with Fries, Catfish Basket, and Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. We LOVED everything! Fries automatically come with Cajun seasoning so if you're not a fan make sure to ask for it without. They are also connected to a brewery for those that are beer drinkers!

Sensational Seafood on a Saturday . The true test of a restaurants character is what they do when know one is looking. Or when they don't know someone's looking. Although that remixed quote is attributed to the famous coach John Wooden. Based on the high level quality customer service I witnessed on my visit, I'd imagine that it's the way SGC's owner Antoine Smith encourages his team to be. While I was waiting for my family's salmon sandwich, fish and fries and chicken wing basket I noticed the gentlemen working at the counter mindfully paying attention to the needs of each and every customer in the building. He went from clearing a case of water from a table for a family's comfort to offering new tasting to some diners from the brewery who were ecstatic about their just cleaned plates and shortly after leaving him, he made a b- line to my table- ensuring us that our food was on the way while encouraging us to refill our drinks while we waited. You can't pay and rarely can you teach customer service this great. Mr. Smith you have a done remarkable job at teaching your staff the huge importance of customer service. I didn't even eat and I will be a repeat customer and staunch supporter of SGC's establishment. Listening to my wife constantly rave about their food and seeing the presentation I expected the food to be on point. Based on the demeanor change by my sleepy son and phone distracted daughter after they bit into their food, I knew it was as good as advertised. After taking her time with each bite of her crispy seasoned fries and her crispy wings. In my mind I knew she was saying "What phone?" My son woke up immediately after smelling the lingering aroma of freshly grilled salmon over what seem to be brioche buns. Needless to say the food was wife, daughter and son approved. The atmosphere and outstanding customer service is dad approve. I love to see a restaurant of quality in this quaint oasis of Powder Springs. I'm imploring as many people to patronize this establishment as possible because this is not only beautiful for our area but for the greater Atlanta dining ecosystem. We need these type of institutions to thrive and be successful. SGC please keep putting customer service and quality food first. You have a dedicated patron in me.

I heard about this place and decided to try it since my husband loves seafood. We were so disappointed. Took an hour to get our food, and it was packed to go. So we left. The chicken was dry and hard to eat. After 1 bite, I couldn't eat more of the ckicken. It was nasty. The Brussel sprouts were good. The corn was good. Husband was up most of the night from the fish. Doubt I will try it ever again. Waste of $50 for 2 meals.

Food was great, ambiance great, service great, everything was fantastic!! Definitely a hidden gem of Powder Springs. Good prices too. I want to eat this again please!

I love seafood, especially good seasoned. This was my first time trying this place and I left most of my food. I did not enjoy it at all. Nice area but the seasoning for the shrimp and fish could be much better. Brussel sprouts had too much sauce.

I give this rating after visiting the restaurant this past weekend. The food had a lot of great flavors I love, a great plus, and this will keep the business booming. The only problem I have is the portion size of the meal. The food is overpriced and described as a MEAL only given to you in lunch sizes, the wings are cornish hen size, and the shrimp is large and not jumbo. Come on now!!! I don't have a problem paying for what I'm asking, but please give us enough to enjoy ourselves. I was truly hungry the day I went and my mouth was watering anticipating this newly found world. I got home and was disappointed with the size of the meals and what I was charged for, and to add (at the time the price wasn't an issue and still isn't, because in my mind I'm thinking yesssss great food) Please believe it doesn't matter who owns the businesses, I'm only sharing my opinion to what happened during my visit to SGC.

Food was delicious And a great ambience coupled with the joint venture of Skint Chestnut brewery. highly recommend.

The food was very delicious. The ambience was laid back . The restaurant is connected to the brewery next door so we were able to grab a beer while we waited for our food . This is definitely a place that I will be returning to !

First visit and ordered a variety of items to try. Wish there was an option in ratings as 3.5. Closer to that than a 4, The fried whiting platter was the best item purchased. Seasoned to perfection, the perfect crunchy coating, and inside flaky. When I bite into an egg roll, I want to hear a crunch. The Philly steak egg roll wrapping was too soggy to eat and we ate half of the filling which was nothing to brag about. The best thing about the egg roll is the delicious sauce. Whiting sandwich was sad. You would think that the fish on the sandwich would be cooked the same as the platter. Not sure what happened but the fish was greasy and limp from being soggy. So greasy that the toasted bun was wet from soaking up the grease; therefore, it made its way to the trash can with half of the egg roll. Portion of fish provided on sandwich was good but not eatable. Lastly, what I couldn't wait to try - loaded brussel sprouts. I wanted to cry as what I was expecting was not delivered. Fried too hard and another item soaked in grease. One bite and in the trash they went to commune with the sandwich and half of an egg roll. I didn't even think to take pictures because of the disappointment. Customer service is great. Everyone was friendly. Have patience as the food is cooked when ordered. Hoping it was just an off day in cooking. We will give them another try and order other items to see if they hit the mark.

Great place to go if you're looking for delicious seafood! I had the salmon BLT and Debi had the fried shrimp basket. Both were very tasty and delicious! The salmon portion was generous as well as the shrimp! Everything tasted fresh, fresh, fresh! We will definitely return to try the fried oysters and blackened salmon.

Two stars is generous. First time going here because my husband is a big supporter of the businesses in downtown Powder Springs. The pictures looked nice. I ordered the Philly egg roll, Brussels, and the corn. The Brussels sprout were an immediate No. They looked horrible, greasy,and completely burned. The egg rolls had potential, but they were salty. With something sweet on the bottom of the container. I had hope for the corn, but at the first taste, I felt like if I ate more than a few spoonfuls. I would be in the bathroom all night. We will try it again maybe and just order the seafood, but I hope they get it together(like how you mess up corn)

It was my first time, but it won't be my last. The service was great and my wait wasn't long. The person placing my order was kind and patient while I figured out what I wanted. The restaurant isn't very big but there is some seating and everything looked really clean. Now the food...amazing! I ate a fry on the drive home and even that was perfectly crisp and seasoned. lol I ordered the salmon egg rolls, the Cajun garlic butter salmon roll with Brussels, and the honey jerk chicken grilled cheese with fries. I tasted some of everything and I wasn't disappointed. The grilled cheese was my favorite followed by the egg rolls. Not too much cheese on the grilled cheese but it was filled with chicken with a flavor that was *chef's kiss*. The salmon roll was ok. I think that I would've enjoyed it more if there were more sauce. I'm a fan of a good sauce but if I try it again maybe I'll ask for extra. The Brussels were so good. I got mine with bacon but I was given the option to have it without. Now that egg roll was straight salmon no frills, which I appreciated. The flavor of the salmon and the sauce drizzled on top were a dynamic duo. Overall great experience and I'll be back for sure.

This was my first time visiting SGC and I will definitely be returning. The philly cheesesteak egg roll was the best one that I've ever had for starters. The wings were crispy and flavorful as were the loaded fries in the wing basket. To add that the service was great and it was very welcome inside I will definitely be back.

The shrimp and fish we always order is cooked to perfection. They are very nice people as well. They could use some help as they are fett6 very popular. I never get enough shrimp to have leftovers but here I do. My go to for fries shrimp and fish.

My walking buddy posted them on IG, I looked at their page and was determined to find them. They are a food truck that changes location, right now they're only licensed in the Cobb area I believe so I had a long drive ahead of me but it was well worth it. I ordered the fried lobster bites dinner with dirty rice as the side, the other side choice was Cajun fries. It came with a slice of lemon and a sauce dipping sauce. I've had fried lobster before but never has it been perfectly golden fried like this before, it was seasoned perfectly as well and that dirty rice was some of the best I've ever had. The dirty rice was seasoned well, had a good number of bell peppers, onions and meat in it! The sauce was a little on the salty side to me but I'm used to more of a sweeter sauce when it comes to seafood. The drive was well worth it and I can't wait to go back to try something else.

Recently had the chance to try out Smith's Gourmet Creations. The food truck was located at Reformation Brewing in Smyrna. They were serving from 12 pm to 4 pm and promptly started taking orders at noon. The line was forming but it took about 20 minutes or so for my sister and I to order. We ordered a few things to get a taste of everything but I would like to highlight the Garlic Butter Crab Fries and the Spicy Honey Wings. It didn't take long after ordering for the food to come out. It was piping hot (could barely eat it) so that was great and you know that the food was fresh. The Spicy Honey Wings had a really good flavor to them. They were crispy as well as sauced. Well seasoned too. They came with a side so we got fries. The Garlic Butter Crab Fries were unlike anything I've tasted and I know my seafood. There was a healthy portion of crab meat on top. I'm a sauce person so I would have liked a little more sauce so that every fry had it but it was good nonetheless. All in all, great experience at this food truck. It was super hot outside so they set up tents for us to wait under and gave away free waters. Will definitely try other items at their next pop up.

Had the salmon slider and fish was very fresh and flavorful, got the crab fries on the side. Crab fries were yummy as well, nice buttery and garlic flavor. Also tastes some of my sisters brussel sprouts which could've been crispier and sauce on top tasted a little funny, was yogurt-based I believe. Nonetheless had lots of menu items I want to try, will be back again!

We ordered the fried shrimp roll with bang bang sauce and that was yummy. The shrimp was fried well and the roll was nice and warm and soft. We also ordered the crab fries but they forgot to put the crab meat on the fries so that was a bummer since we paid for it. The cheesesteak egg rolls were yummy too. I really like the cheese sauce they drizzle on the egg rolls with a hint of spicy sauce on top of the cheese sauce. I really wish they had the fried craw fish to order that day. My husband ordered the whiting and he said it was good but wish it was fried a little longer but tasty. The service was friendly and the food was cooked fast. The ambience was a little plain but it was clean and small inside but if they aren't crowded, you can eat inside.

Salmon croquettes and catfish was amazing. Grits were very creamy and staff very friendly.

I've been supporting SGC since they had a food truck. The restaurant is small. There are a few tables inside for indoor dining and it's clean. Everything I've had was delicious... the catfish, salmon egg roll, salmon but, wings, salmon roll, lobster roll, shrimp, crab fries... you really can't go wrong. This is my husband and I's go-to spot. We've probably tried everything on the menu, lol. The owner and employees are nice, personable people.

No lie, some of the BEST food in Atlanta. Instagram introduced me to SGC but their food has kept me coming back each time! 5/5 Stars -- Here's Why: I stumbled across the SGC IG page a while back, even before they started the food truck! Once they began to do pre orders through their website, I was instantly hooked. Vibe/Customer Service: A1. Every time I go, it feels like family. The food is always fresh, the staff is always so inviting and I'm never disappointed. Location: They are currently only operating on their food truck and through catering orders. Although I would pay them to create a brick and mortar - we have to work with what we currently have! Haha. For updated locations, just check their IG page @smithsgourmetcreations to stay up to date! Food: They offer a variety of food options! From fried seafood, to fried chicken, to blackened salmon cakes all the way down to lemon bundt cakes! I'll admit, we've tried everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend checking them out, and getting there early!

I have never had a less than stellar meal from their food truck. I first ate at their truck at the 2020 Brunch Festival but I've visited them several times since. Today I had their dinner plate that included fried lobster bites, spicy honey fried jumbo shrimp and garlic butter crab fries all hot, fresh and cooked to order. My only minor dislikes were that the lobster bites were a bit too salty for my taste and the portions seemed small for the price ($30+) but that is possibly just a preference. However, they never disappoint.

Food is well prepared and tasty! Really good shrimp basket ! Try the honey lemon pepper sauce. Yum!

This food truck is a must try if you're near by. I recommend following them on Instagram for their schedule/locations. The food was amazing and worth it and they have so many good options. I would recommend this place and will be back!!

Oh my gosh! Came across SGC on IG. I live in Boston but have family in GA. I convinced my family to take an hour and a half trip to Powder Springs to taste the food and we were all blown away. The food tastes amazing and is also super fresh. Quality and flavor is unmatched. This will be a go to every time I fly down to GA. Super excited for the restaurant opening. Will be recommending to all my GA friends. Garlic butter crab fries, must have! The Cajun seasoning on the fries topped with the garlic sauce and a good portion of crab was a winning combo. The fried shrimp and chicken wings were also super flavorful. The shrimp tasted freshly caught and the bang bang sauce I added was delicious. The chicken wings were crispy yet not dried out, perfection. My mom loved her fried lobster roll. Wish I had taken pictures. Priority unfortunately was downing the food lol. I may just have to move back to I can have more SGC in my life!

I've been waiting to try SGC, and today I finally have the opportunity to visit the food truck. Amazing flavor; the fries were delicious and the shrimp was so tasty! I also had a pineapple lemonade, which acted almost as dessert. I can't wait for their location in Powder Springs to open.

I am their biggest fan. This food is so phenomenal, I only wish they visited the southside of Atlanta every once in a while but they are so worth the trip up to North Atlanta every once in a while. Only thing I did not like was the fried crawfish - it was pretty salty the day we went. Other than that, the food is to die for. You just have to try for yourself. The crab fries and the wings that we had... Unreal. The menu changes so there are so many other options to try that I haven't even gotten to enjoy, plus they're usually switching between a couple different breweries so it's a cool atmosphere for a food truck. And their lemonade? *chef's kiss*

This was my first visit...I will surely go back. I ordered the Fried Lobster Roll and Dirty Rice. They were both delicious. The lemon-butter garlic sauce...AMAZING!!
