The Best Cider in Philly | Eater Philly

"Apple picking, wagon rides, live music, and wine festivals are just a few of the fall activities at this farm and orchard in Yardley. While apple cider is available for purchase in their market, one of the most treasured fall treats is the Uncle Dave’s Apple Cider Donut Sandwich—a vanilla ice cream sandwich made with two apple cider donuts and topped with a generous coating of cinnamon sugar. For hard cider lovers, visit Stone’s Throw Pub (located on-site), where you can sample ciders from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including offerings from Atomic Dog, Rose Bank Winery, and Ship Bottom Brewery." - George Banks-Weston

I typically always go to the light show every year but never would I ever pay for it. It is not worth $60. Especially anytime you go close to Christmas you better be prepared to wait. Bring some games. Play the abc game because it’s slow going. Sat an hour 3 days before Christmas. But go right after thanksgiving and it’s pretty good and you don’t have to wait. Moral of the story is bring your own food and go way before Christmas. I do think they had new things this year so that’s good because it’s been awhile since I have seen anything new. The store itself is great and has so many cool things. Also the summer u pick is so expensive. Just go to a farm in Jersey. I would say do the light show at least once in your life though.

We had a good time. Our kids are a bit older now and visiting here kept them all busy. From the slide to the games all fun. Food can be pricey and long lines. Make sure you don’t wear fancy shoes because there is a lot of dust. The hay ride is nice and cart is really big. The only downside of it was that we were more than 16 and $60 can add up -_-

My wife and I visited the Fall Festival with my two year old grandson and had a wonderful time. We went early so there wasn't a line to enter. He enjoyed the playgrounds, wagon ride, cow ride, corn maze, and pumpkin patch. The food we purchased was high quality (chicken sandwich, tenders, fries, apple cider donuts) and we enjoyed lunch in front of the band. It was a wonderful day!

Google
These folks here are super nice. They assisted me with parking over night. Their facility is amazing to.cisit with a nice variety of homemade foods, novelties and the ice cream shop is amazing. I wish I had been able to see the Christmas lights though. If your around this place you must visit them.

Google
Farm was great. I went with a group of 12 something to do for everyone. The kids had a blast, and I enjoyed the slide. The lights ride was amazing, the apple picking OMG everything was great, plus the apple cider donuts were super good. We be back.

Google
they did such a great job with the light show ! We enjoy walking around this beautiful farm, shopping in their stores, and enjoying signature drinks by the fire. my favorite place is near the goats. they are so cute. absolute love

Google
Fun for smaller children with plenty of activities. The wagon ride is fun, especially during their light show. It appears they are transferring to digital only ticket base system, so tickets are best bought online or advance purchase. Overall, the experience was great and family had fun. I was also able to pick up a few pumpkins just in time for Halloween fun!

Google

Yelp
I take my family every year for the drive through Christmas Light show. This year, we tried out the Fall festival. Weather was beautiful and a lot of people. You need to make reservations, no walk-ins. We did the wagon ride and corn maze. I wanted to go down the slide but the line was pretty long. We also did some of the Halloween activities and my son got on the bike (track). He enjoyed it. We ordered food, line was long and the wait time was long too but food was good and staff were friendly.

Yelp
I came here over the weekend to go to the pumpkin patch and got to experience so much more! For $25 per person, we were able to access the pumpkin patch, corn maze, two haunted/fun houses, live music, and food & drink vendors. The bar area within the farm market serves up local drafts and wines and is a great spot to warm up from being outside. The activities are catered for kids and families, but it was a fun date-night activity too! Although it was a Friday night, we didn't have to wait in many lines and if so, they were short and quick. The staff and local vendors were super friendly. We grabbed snacks like chicken fingers and homemade perogies, but the warm apple cider and apple cider donuts were the highlights of our night! They also have stands that offer the donuts, cider, and other fall treats to bring home too. This was a super fun way to get out of the city and enjoy some fall fun!

Yelp
I came here last weekend and was so incredibly happy with my experience. To begin the farm is beautiful, I can only imagine it in the summertime but it was completely decked out for christmas and it looked amazing! This place is absolutely perfect for families. there's activities for kids and adult beverages for the parents. I had the spiked hot chocolate and i LOVED it. it had peppermint vodka in it and it was a deliciously perfect combo. The main event is this really cute drive through light show that is 2 miles long. each section had a little theme like sea animals, 7 wonders, 12 days of christmas, etc. They're really awesome displays and you could tune into a radio station to listen to the music as you drive through the lights. if you didn't want to take your car in, there are wagon rides which was what I did and it was such a fun experience. They have walk through lights displays as well like candy cane lane and assorted activities throughout. Including photos with Santa for the kids! They also had a few shops on site as well selling goods like yummy pies and cakes. There were also fire pits that you can reserve to warm up to and make s'mores! There is a barn to rent out which was my case as we were having a holiday party and it's a pretty decent size you could probably fit a bunch of people in there. Everyone who was working was super friendly and made sure we had a great experience. Overall, I had absolutely no complaints. I look forward to going again soon with my nephew I know he'll have a blast!

Yelp
Great fun night for the holiday light show. Walk, drive your own car, or enjoy a tractor ride with music. Very well organized. Fire pits, snacks, hot and cold drinks. Fun family destination.

William F.

Yelp
Went for the Christmas show, which is fabulous every year. Went to the farmers market a lot of great choices, especially of items. She may not normally see in a regular supermarket. Really nice time.

Yelp
Here to see the seasonal stuff! Autumn is here!! It's super busy today. They have a light show they're preparing for this evening. There is also a band here today !! Wow! Of course, I'm very happy to see their freshly made. Ice cream section had pumpkin flavor! They all sorts of premade food, and I was really happy to see the variety of pumpkins they had .
google avatar

Yelp
I came here for the drive through holiday light show and it was a lot of fun! Grab some hot chocolate (or bring your own like I did), turn on the Christmas radio station, and enjoy some beautiful light displays from the comfort of your car. It was really cold the night I went so I appreciated the drive-thru experience. Once you're done driving around you can actually park at the market and do some shopping. They had groceries and a lot of local items that you can't really get elsewhere (like jams, sauces, etc.) they also had a little Christmas decor store to walk around as well. There was also a bar next to the grocery shop if you wanted to grab a drink and some food. There were fire pits everywhere and you can make s'mores which I thought was so cute. There's also more light displays that you can walk around and check out, with plenty of opportunities for taking pictures. Overall I think this is a really cute idea for a family, date night, or even just something to do with friends, especially if you don't wanna be out in the cold the whole time!

Clay T.

Yelp
Such a cute night with my family and friends for the drive through light show!! Light displays are amazing! $50 per car is a crazy price though in my opinion. Thankfully we split with another family and took the same car-that's what I would suggest!

Ruby S.

Yelp
Amazing drive through lights set up. It was beautifully designed with themes of disney, 7 wonders, sports, Candyland and many more. Tickets were $50 per car online. Food and other shops available at the end of the show. It has facility of campfire as well. Worth visiting during Christmas time. Loved the light show and most recommended. Just roads need little maintenance rest all good.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. The Xmas light show is amazing!! So much fun. Highly recommend this place too every one

Yelp
Truth be told, the "festivals" that Shady Brook constantly has are kind of a tourist trap. Still, we have a 3-year-old and live nearby, so we've ended up going a few times a year for the past few years. Until today, the experience has always been "fine." I spent $36 on tickets and $15 on a peach bucket at the "Peach and Sunflower Festival" today. That peach bucket should get you a couple dozen peaches if I had to guess. We went up and down the aisles checking every tree. There were, simply put, no peaches. We left with a total of 2 (see picture). Others on the wagon had no better luck. Everyone picked buckets full of bright green peaches, which will never be edible, or left with empty buckets like us. To add insult to injury, on the way back, the wagon passed by a different, inaccessible field that was visibly (even from a distance) full of peaches. We weren't really there for the sunflowers, which was good, because there were none of those either. The tractor didn't even make a stop for them. I don't know if the crops weren't good this year, or maybe the fields were already picked clean. Frankly, I don't really care which -- you don't get to sell a product that you literally don't have on hand to deliver. And anyway, there were obviously peaches elsewhere, like I said. So I don't know what happened. What I do know is that the $50 I spent today is the last $50 this place will see from me.

Yelp
Shady Brook is by far one of my absolute favorite weekend pastimes. I attended Strawberry Fest for the very first time, 6/4. The event is only two weekends long; which is why I typically miss out. I must say, picking strawberries is quite the task. My back was killing me when I returned home. I took a nap and didn't wake up until the following day. Above all, I had a wonderful time per usual. Initially the berries seemed scarce and I didn't believe I'd be able to fill up my basket purchased at the gate for 8 bucks but once I got to picking; there was plenty. When I tell you the strawberries were out of this world delicious, They were thee absolute sweetest, juiciest berries I've ever tasted in my life. Shady Brook Farm and it's staff always provide excellent customer service and quality produce.

Yelp
It's a family-friendly spot with a nice little playground area for the kids, a seasonal outdoor serving window with the most delicious homemade ice cream. There are prepared cartons of this amazing treat inside the store. Shady Brook has a beautiful Garden Center filled with exceptionally healthy looking plants for purchase along with everything needed to keep your garden growing. There are plenty of picnic style tables for easy seating while they host weekend concerts inside the Garden Center. It's an amazing place to visit while the holidays are in full swing ~ poinsettias, holiday decor, lovely greens, gifts ~ so pretty. The food shop has many delicious choices ~ DiBruno Brothers cheeses, a variety of crackers, produce, jams/jellies/sauces, ready to eat deli options, nuts, candy, gourmet frozen food offerings ~ too many to name here. Plenty of parking, super friendly staff, holiday lights shows, an outdoor seating area to enjoy your Shady Brook Farm treats ~ it's a lovely place to visit in any season.

Yelp
$50 for a car for a 10 minute drive through. (it was fine it was long enough and pretty) BUT what ruined it was there was maybe 5 people on the whole 2 mile trail and so i thought we could go again. they said "nope! happy new year! make a uturn." i was like.. can we pay extra to go again? "nope! you have to buy a new ticket." so another $50 to go around it all again. also had a horrible $5 hot chocolate. there is nowhere on the website that says that it is one time loop around. if there is its extremely hard to find because i have searched everywhere to see if this is an obvious thing... based on the reaction of the employee im assuming people ask them a lot. there was a ton of sponsorship light designs which i thought was cheesy as well. also pretty sure i saw a truck in the exit then swing around into the starting line and go again.

Yelp
Ever since I saw a ad on Facebook about Shady Brook Farm, I always wanted to visit. My daughter's school had given their students and families discount tickets to visit SBF. I decided to take the opportunity now than later. Must be our lucky day, because the weather is nice in the 70s. On another note, free parking too, oh yeah! When we arrived around 10, there are already many other schools at the farm. Shady Brook was bustling and extremely busy, every activities had a long line of kids waiting to participate. The Hayride was good, it took us around the farm, into the pumpkin patch. Each and everyone of us were able to pick-our-own pumpkin to take home. My daughter want to try the huge tube slide, which my hubby didn't want to do. Eventually I send both of them to that big slide line haha. She knew daddy is a no so she turn to mommy for the rescue, and yes mommy does not disappoint lol. She didn't have fun until the kids at the other schools left. There she play on the playground. And fed the barn animals.

Yelp
Everything is truly amazing down to the experience and the food they have to offer. Every time we go we have an amazing time I always suggest coming here for all holidays!!

Yelp
I didn't know we could've just come and gone to the market but whatever we had fun going to both. Market is adorable and the farm was fun for my boy. I'd come here again. Especially the market part! We got such delicious things.

Yelp
The lights are undeniably great but the price has been creeping up over the last few years and it's becoming unsustainable for smaller families. $50 a car is excessive. Especially if you consider families with only 1 child. So if you go be absolutely sure that your seats are filled with young eyeballs. You can either drive yourself or hop on their tracker hay ride. Be sure to bundle up if you're signing up for the hay ride. There are two lanes and people drive fairly slowly, some times around the turns you will be stopped but you'll be moving soon enough. They have some classics like the 12 days of Christmas, some awesome sponsored light segments that are more complex. My favorite is the candy cane trees that are brightly lit up white and red. It's a fun time and we would love to continue coming to Shady Brook Farm, but hopefully they consider some price reduction in the future.

Yelp
We decided to go to the farm last night for their UnWined Friday nights. They sell wine, beer and have live music staring in May through September I believe. You can bring chairs or a blanket to relax on. It's a nice time. You can buy food and drinks there. The weather turned out perfectly last night! It was so hot during the day but it turned into a beautiful night! We enjoyed some chicken fingers, fresh cut fries (incredible!!!) and pierogis! Yum!

Yelp
Love this farm so much. Goes without saying its a Bucks County staple for so many reasons. This 110 year old farm originally known for its produce and greenhouse came into fame for one of the Northeast's best & biggest Christmas Light shows. Now its huge expansion includes a store, a small bar promoting local breweries, an ice cream stand, an outdoor event space with bands, food/drink and fireworks, seasonal pickings like apples, pumpkins or sunflowers and the Fall corn maze. Beyond its abundant fresh produce, the store has homemade pasta, delicious baked goods and sandwiches, as well as Stonewall Kitchen gourmet goods. But oh the ice cream stand is a family summertime hangout. With comfy outdoor seating galore and a swing set, it's the perfect place to try their homemade mouthwatering flavors. Its everchanging unique flavors you won't find elsewhere such as Cannoli, Tiramisu, and Watermelon are served generously at reasonable prices. Enjoy a cone or a can of beer while watching the sun set on the farm then head to the field for a rocknroll evening as low as $12. Heartbreaking to hear after a century the farm must be sold since the offspring arent interested in inheriting it (from what I understand). It's a beloved popular hotspot which will be extremely missed in the community if its not upheld. I send the Fleming family a huge thanks for years of joy, along with well wishes of retirement, as well as luck that passionate buyers could continue this tradition. Spend time on this precious lot while you can.

Yelp
Two adults, no kids. It was past the apple and sunflower picking season. It was interesting to walk around this very flat piece of land seeing people engaging in fall things. They have all the fall things: - food and drinks (long lines though - they could have a separate line just for drinks) - link to alcoholic drinks menu: https://business.untappd.com/prints/72059.pdf - band "The Diskoteks" playing music for hours near the entrance - corn maze (maize maze), which was probably my favorite because I like walking - hayride (no hay, and you can preview the unlit light show - and probably skip it because it doesn't seem worth it) - monster truck and giant firetruck that you can ride (not my thing, so I observed with curiosity) - sliding down a hill on a tube (long line) - animals to feed - panning for gold (I think you have to buy the "gold" first, then put it in the water in a sieve) - games, area for throwing various balls (base, foot, basket) - big bag of fresh kettle corn for $8 (more expensive in the store before you leave, where you pay for the pumpkin you choose) - pumpkin field with lots of pumpkins for $0.75/lb - sunflower field with sunflowers all picked, and some people still picking the few remaining small sunflowers for a photo op, and then immediately discarding it; also a VW bug and a bus in the field - there are stores after you exit the attraction, including grocery store, bar, ice cream stand. This is accessible without paying the $25 entrance fee, so that's a way to partake in fall stuff without paying $25 - bathrooms are mostly portapotties, unlike at Linvilla in 2020 - parking was pretty easy and organized

Lisa ..

Yelp
A variety of seasonal activities for the while family. (It's nice that they didn't sell all of it for development)

Yelp
Shadybrook is welcoming and fun for the whole day! Try the pumpkin patch or the store

Patricia S.

Yelp
Let me start by saying, I never write reviews however, I feel compelled due to my recent experience with Shady brook farm. I scheduled a party event back in August. I had to pay a fee of $225 to reserve the spot... fine. I show up to the farm to check my party in and come to find that it was extremely disheveled & not one person working there knew what they were doing regarding checking my party in. After sitting around for 15 minutes, I was told I needed to wait in line which was practically wrapped around the whole parking lot to check my party in -How embarrassing to know that all of my guests are arriving while I'm still waiting in line. (If you're a paying customer who is paying for a very overpriced event, you should be able to be checked in upon arrival and waiting in line shouldn't be negotiable)When getting to the check in part, I was told the price for the party and I about fell over due to getting misinformation pertaining to admissions on the phone months before. This place is EXPENSIVE. I also would like to mention that a good amount of the staff were very rude to me & my party guests. Was given the wrong amount of tickets after my husband paid... then, the party event planning staff caused a scene due to my party and I being at the wrong pavilion when we were specifically told to go there. Please avoid this place at all costs. They are shady, rude, and money hungry people who do not care about their guests. To think I have given them my business for all these years just makes it worse. I really would like to have people informed and avoid the headache of this place, especially with event planning. I tried contacting management a day after the party and surprise, surprise, ghost. Briefly spoke to several higher ups after contacting them since they didn't have the courtesy to contact me & come to find were dismissive, unprofessional, ignorant, and rude. After all of this, they decided to refund me $225 and that's it. Please avoid this place at all costs!

Yelp
We did the holiday light show. Due to 2020 and small children, we did a LOT of drive through light shows. This is by far the best, hands down. So many displays, so much detail! My one suggestion would be to improve the radio reception -- we wound up just putting on our own music as it was too staticky to bear. But for real, this is the only one I would repeat again -- it really... outshone ...all the others!

Yelp
We celebrated my daughters birthday here in October (actually right on Halloween). It will very organized and the space was great. I rented a private area and it was so worth it! Everyone was spaced out comfortably and the staff ensured our fire pit it was constantly lit. The gentleman at the entrance was so nice and greeted each child with a smile and some candy. I've been wanted to book my daughters party here for a while and so glad that I did.

Yelp
Be warned! Please read before placing any orders with shady brook farms and reconsider doing so! There are dozens of landscape shops around to buy from do not be another one of shady brook farms victims! I've included the letter I wrote to both owners of the company as well as a picture of proof that they have indeed discriminated against me for complaining about this situation. For 12 years I was a loyal customer of shady brook farm and I used them as one of my main sources for material for my contracting business. In those 12 years I spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at shady brook farm. One day shady brook farm and one of their managers decided to screw me over on one of my jobs, in which I had placed a delivery for material with them. Shady brook farm cost me my customer and lost me the job. When I complained to them about this situation and the harm they had caused me, to my shock and horror they told me not to use them again. As if it wasn't bad enough that shady brook lost me one of my long term clients they had the audacity to take no accountability or responsibility for their actions. I was expecting shady brook to be extremely apologetic and offer to come out and make an apology to my customer in person and perhaps offer to do several orders on them to remedy the situation and honor my loyalty to them for over a decade, as most companies would have done. In my 15 years of professional experience I have never encountered anything like the way shady brook conducts themselves. Be warned!! If you order something from shady brook and they screw it up, they will blame it on you, not fix it or remedy it and will not take responsibility for doing so! I have thousands of customers in the area, I have shared my experience with this company with many of them and there are about 40 who have said they will never consider buying a plant from shady brook farm again. These people also have told others, so not only did they lose me as a customer but potentially hundreds of others as the ripple effect unfolds from how they treat their customers. This company does not care who they turn into an enemy. Feel free to inbox me, I'm more than happy to share my experience with whoever is interested in knowing more.

Yelp
Shady Brook is one of the cutest little stops in Bucks County if you are looking to do with the family. We came expecting a huge area space because there are other great farms in the area, but Shady Brook keeps it simple and fun. We came during Sunflower and Peach picking season. We walked through the small playground and let our two year old hang out there until our wagon ride came to take us to the field. The fields are not too large, but the trees were FULL of ripe peaches. The sunflower fields gave for perfect social media pictures to show off your nature loving side. After all that nature, we took the wagon back to get our grub and ice cream on. They have a cute kitchen that makes delicious sandwiches, salads and other small bites. Our son was here for the ice cream - which was AHH-mazing! Mama found the bar and got some wine tasting going. Needless to say, we were all very happy. Except the waitress kept my credit card and I had to drive all the way back after I got home to avoid canceling. I don't give this place 5 stars because it is on the smaller side (I can't imagine if we came during a busy season), and a bit pricey. I do like that they have a light show during Christmas and the rotating pick-your-own fruits rotation. I also like that there are less crowds compared to most places.
google avatar

Tiffany F.

Yelp
We love it here! This place has year round family fun! From their spectacular Christmas drive through lights , the fall festival to summer unwined to just the store, wine shop, etc. there's always something going on here. For the Christmas/holiday light show buying tickets online is cheaper, go through the drive through (either in your car or the wagons) then park and run through their walk through lights (the kids love it-so fun), there's a store, bar, hot cocoa, fire pits, playground. During the summer they have food trucks, bands, ice cream lots of activities during their festivals. Definitely lots to do, always a great time and organized well, friendly staff. We feel lucky to live so close and make it an annual tradition to come by. Highly recommend any time of year!

Yelp
Bought a watermelon that turned out to be rotten inside. Took photos of the inside for reference and then called for refund. The manager told me that the policy was to bring back the entire cut-open messy watermelon. I explained that I am a senior citizen and it was difficult to drive back there with the messy watermelon. I explained that I took photos of the watermelon and he said that did not matter. I asked for the owner or another manager and this person hung up on me. Five minutes later, I called back, asked for the owner and the woman immediately hung up on me. I will NEVER go there again.

Yelp
This is a fairly nice farm produce market that we used to frequent when we lived in Yardley. In addition to being a farm market, there's a garden center, and a range of agritainment duribg the year.  Stony Brook is known locally for its seasonal events like "pick your own" fruits and vegetables, wagon rides, and holiday lights drive-thru.
google avatar

Carol L.

Yelp
Cute little place to grab a pumpkin and other fall essentials in the NorthEast! We enjoyed the hot apple cider that we got from Shady Brook. Ample parking, friendly faces, and definitely not the last time we'll go.

Yelp
My wife and I were driving by as saw the Christmas lights drive through area from the highway. It looked amazing and festive. We decided to drive in, we drove through a bit and there wasn't a gate or anything so we figured that it was free just like one we just went to in Lewes DE called schellville Christmas village. So we were driving and came to a shack (so I guessed that we would have to pay). It was a little wait until we came to the window. A lady stuck her head out and demanded our ticket. I I apologized and said sorry we don't have a ticket. We're new here and saw the lights from the road. The lady rudely said it's $60 to get in. Wow! That's ridiculous. I asked one to get out of here!! She pointed at the side and slammed the window. Kid you not guys, there is a whole separate road for people that refuse their insanely high prices. Trying to get out was horrible. There were cones and abandoned parking lots everywhere. I ran over a few cones to avoid driving in circles. The funny thing was, most of the light displays were advertising for local businesses so why was it so expensive??

Yelp
Such a cute farm with an assortment of things to do from taking the wagon to sunflowers (watch out for bees!), wild flowers, to fruit and vegetables. I went on a Thursday during the day and it was pretty quiet but great for kids and a nice quick getaway for yourself as well. Everyone is so nice and accommodating who work there.

Samantha K.

Yelp
If you're looking to hangout with friends, i'd skip. over the years, they made the farm more and more geared towards kids, so the halloween attractions aren't as good as they used to be, and they keep doing the same thing every year. When i was a teen, it was something to do. now that i'm older, i feel it's a complete waste of money to go.

Yelp
This review is specifically about the drive-thru Holiday Light show. It was my first and last time seeing the light show. $40 for online tickets and $50 for in-person tickets per car is ridiculous. It's upsetting to think how much Shady Brook is probably profiting from this, especially while being in a pandemic and during the holiday season. It doesn't help that some of the lights were advertisements either. Prior to going, I read a lot of reviews saying that there was a long line to get in so I was a bit worried about that. I had tickets for 9 pm on a Sunday and luckily, there was no line to get in. However, I stopped at Wawa beforehand and passed by Shady Brook a little before 8:30 pm and the line was down the street. line. It took about 20-22 minutes to drive through the 2 mile light show which was shorter than I expected. We went with the flow of traffic but since there was no line to get in, I felt like everyone was driving too fast. I enjoyed the light show but it's not worth the price.

Yelp
Shady Brook is one of the highlights of Bucks County! It's a great place for family fun and dates with friends and family! I love that they host seasonal events every year, like their Christmas light show and Haunted Hayride for Halloween! I've been going here for years and really appreciate that they also appeal to adults as well as kids. My favorite part about the farm is being able to pick my own fruit and veg! The food is always so fresh. They have such a large variety, I can't name them all! I usually return every year to pick strawberries, peaches, and blueberries (pre-covid) and they have the BEST blueberries! All the fruit is so juicy, ripe, and sweet! I end up picking way more than I need, but I always make good use of it! They also have a shop that has gorgeous plants for indoors and outdoors, homemade food, jams, jerky, and ice cream. They also have a bar for the adults! Outside is an ice cream shop and a playground for kids. It is a bit pricey, but it's a really lovely place and is worth it if you want to have a good time.

Yelp
This guys do a great business but they have to check their stock. They sold expired product this at 04/16 which is expired more than 2 weeks ago and it's not cheap. And locked reviews on google maps so I can't post it there

Yelp
So expensive. The ice cream sandwich was obnoxiously big, I assume to overcompensate for the lackluster taste. Will not be back

Yelp
Vegetable are not organic or local - ALL veggies in plastic bags or containers!!! Ridiculous. Nothing special.

Yelp
I loved the drive through to see the Christmas lights after Christmas. We bought funnel cake and popcorn and the warm apple cider prior to our lighting adventure. It's better to purchase tickets online to save 10 dollars so instead of 50 it was 40. We even stopped by their farm market store to get a few sweets, pies and strawberry rhubarb jam. Just watch the people in a hurry but still it was very enjoyable.

Yelp
A gorgeous & captivating place! I love the fall & Shady Brooks was decked out in autumn glory to the hilt! Plentiful pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks decorations and more! I didn't know what direction to head first! There is a small fresh market, bar & awesome ice-cream shop on the grounds. We enjoyed the brownie we bought the next day at the movies. Very good ($4.99 for an avg size - glad it was!) In viewing other Yelps, I saw the holiday light show pictures - our excuse to go back!

Yelp
Their name saids it all. Shady. I wouldn't even give this place one star however I couldn't submit the review if I didn't. Here's our experience. We brought tickets for fireworks on the 3rd of July, it was cancelled due to rain. Ok I get that. I sent several emails asking for a refund. No response. When finally contacted customer service (being frustrated that no one responded to my emails) I was met by a woman who let me know that the tickets were non refundable!!! And that she was on vacation and that she had this and that going on....blah blah blah. excuses excuses excuses. Upon clarification they let me know, I could spend the $50 ish some dollars on another venue event they produced in the future, and for me to "adjust my attitude". Certainly this threw gas on the fire for one that is already frustrated. In what customer service manual does it recommend that??? When I asked for the manager, the manager was equally disrespectful going BACK and FORCE auguring with me and now my husband---the customer!!! For all my years in customer service, to be told to "adjust my attitude" when hearing that I had to go to another one of their rinki dink shows and that I'm out 50 ish plus dollars as well as dealing with a customer service representative chastising us for being upset-- ya'll have lost your minds. I give you and this bs place less then zero. You clearly need to review what it is to be in your job and your job description because you and the manager have no clue as to how to deal with your frustrated public at large. On top of it all, they said that we can let our friends have said tickets for a future event--if we didn't want to go--but why would I tell all my friends to patronage this awful place when clearly customer service is sooooooo rude--- such an immature reactionary response from a place of business. Best believe I will be telling everyone about this experience. Thanks Shady!!!! You live up to your name!!!

Yelp
Year round fun!! In Yardley, not too far from Philly. Summer: pick your own fruits and veggies and attend their summer unwined fests on Friday and Saturday nights which include live music, activities for kids, food, drinks and a local winery. Fireworks on select saturdays. They offer a season pass too. Buy tickets online to avoid lines and get their early to get good seats by the music stage! Fall: pick your own pumpkins, haunted house and activities for kids. Live music, food and drinks also available on their outdoor fairground. Gets very crowded on weekends but still a good time. Fun for families or couples/young adults without kids. Winter: Drive through lights display!! Drive through in your own car or ride on their open air hayride. Can get pretty busy on weekend nights. If you go early in the season you can get discounted tickets. They also offer a season pass for those that want to drive through multiple times. Bonfire, s'mores making and hot cocoa available for purchase. In addition to these seasonal activities they have a market inside where they sell ice cream, produce, meat and dairy products, sandwiches, salads and other food items. Pretty good variety. Shadybrook is a great spot for family fun or a daydate! Definitely check it out.

Yelp
The rudest staff I have ever encountered. I witnessed two different employees hang up when my sister called for a refund on an inedible watermelon. This is a local market and relies on this community. It is shocking that any vendor would allow its employees to treat anyone in this manner.
