Shahs of Kabob

We were staying next door and wanted a quick shareable meal. We had the falafel wrap and the Shiraz salad!!! They were both delicious! We also tried to yellow and orange sauce. Yellow was fantastic, orange was too, just had a little kick. - I would highly recommend this place.

This used to be my go to location. I guess they changed the way they make their miami heat sauce, it’s totally different now and it tastes nothing like before. It used to be thick, orange colored now it’s watery vinegar tasting. Never going to this location again.

Outstanding catering and service! We ordered from Shahs of Kabob for our team, and the entire experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared—every dish was seasoned well and arrived at the ideal temperature. Delivery was right on time, and everything was packaged neatly for easy setup. A special mention goes to MoReza, the catering manager, who was exceptional to work with. He was professional, attentive, and proactive in making sure every detail was covered. From helping us select the right menu to confirming delivery logistics, his communication and follow-through made the process completely stress-free. The team couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was, and there wasn’t a single plate left at the end of the day. This was easily one of the smoothest catering experiences we’ve had, and we’ll definitely be ordering again soon.

WOW! Sooo good! The presentation, the taste, 10 out of 10! 😋 I was skeptical at first because it looked more like a fast food place. So glad I didn’t let those thoughts change my mind. The workers are very kind, the food is actually made from scratch and you can see it being grilled and the portion size well worth the price. I got the Koobideh (2 skewers of mixed beef + lamb) and salad. The entire place was full of salad with two huge skewers of meat. It really is made with love. Can feel it in the small space they have with all the inspirational writing they have from customers all over one of their wall spaces. Will definitely be coming back again and inviting friends!

My family and I visited Miami for a few days and tried to find a very delicious Persian food. Finally we found this branch and went there for lunch. CHELO KABAB, Koobideh and Barg both were absolutely delicious. The KABAB had really Iranian taste. They were very polite and friendly and customer service was perfect. We never had like this CHELO KABAB in Vancouver Canada at all. this was the best part of our travel to Miami. We recommend them 100 percent

Just finished my takeout from this place and the Koobideh kebab (beef & lamb mix) was absolutely delicious. I loved everything, the salad, the rice, and the portions were great. On top of that, the customer service is amazing: the couple who runs it is genuinely so sweet and welcoming. Highly recommend, please give them a try and support this local small business. They’re awesome!

We went to one of the many locations, visiting the place closest to our home. During dinner we had the chance to meet the owner and his wife and found them to both be very charming and good people. The food was very tasty, perfectly spiced and cooked. The Persian-styled rice on the platter was light and fluffy and the Kebab was very tasty and flavorful. All portions' sizes were quite generous! Onto the sandwiches. One was a beef/lamb mixture KEBAB, and the other was a white meat chicken (cubes) wrap, also, char-grilled. Both sandwiches were very generous. Similarly, they were both made fresh-to-order were and packed with chopped vegetables. There were four different sauces were available to us, atop the table, on the side. Spicy, Sumac, garlic and cilantro-garlic. All in all. it was a spectacularly good meal and we will go again, and urge others to not miss this place! We loved it.

OK experience eating a ground meat kabob close to our motel. Shahs' of Kabob started in 2017, and has expanded to ten locations. It serves halal Persian cuisine in a fast casual environment. This location in South Miami is quite small, with only seating for 10 or so people. One thing we noticed right away was the delicious smell coming from the indoor grill...pretty much told you that the roasted meats were going to be good. I wasn't too hungry so ordered the small plate of Koobideh ($15). The cashier was nonchalant when asked about what to recommend. Once ready, it was brought over to our table. It came with a large mound of saffron rice, which was quite good. A better choice would have been half and half of a small salad with the rice. The koobideh was very similar (even exactly the same to my untrained palate) to a Turkish adana kebab or an Arabic kefta...made with a combination of beef and lamb ground meat, made flatter vs round. It was warmed/cooked over a grill and had that nice char taste that one gets from grilling. I didn't notice there were condiments in ketchup/mustard squeeze bottles until too late...it gives the place a kind of hot dog joint feel which I don't think was the intention.

Food was good. Not incredible just good. Meat lacked a tiny bit in flavor and price was a bit of a punch. Not sure I would be back. Parking is a bit wonky and the service was meh. Hole in the wall, that's totally ok with me, I was expecting better based on so many positive reviews.

Hands down the best Mediterranean fast food in South Florida. We originally tried Shahs in Miami and craved the delicious kabobs and sauces so when it opened in Boca I was thrilled. Inside has simple decor and seating enough for a party of 2-4. I highly recommend the Kabodeh which is perfectly marinated chicken kabobs that comes with basmati rice, salad and your choice of toppings from feta, cranberries and more. The meat is so tender and juicy and tastes excellent alone but I do love eating it with the Garlic Sauce and the Miami Heat Sauce. Service is fast when dining in and ordering to go!

The food was absolutely amazing here and had so much flavor and so much quantity! The service was really good and it was the café, but I think is a chain in Miami! I absolutely loved it and will definitely be trying to come back here!

Game Night! Another of many catering orders family style! Everything was delicious, plenty of food and perfect delivery! That is why we recommend them!

This is my second visit to the Shahs of Kebab and my first to this location. The first visit was with a group and we ordered a family platter and I got to try a little of everything and really enjoyed it. He probably have with Persian comfort food serve locally is that is over, seasoned and loses the character of authenticity. Not so much at Shahs of Kebab where warm hospitality, excellent service, and great food are what they serve up. On this occasion, I was doing takeout. Takeout can sometimes be a disaster because the food seems to be as good when you get home. But they do some magic as the meat is still hot, moist, and tasty and the sakad is still cool, fresh, and crispy. I chose the Joojeh Sultani which is one skewer of chicken and one skewer of ground beef and lamb. It could not have tasted any better. I chose to have it with salad and I found the salad very enjoyable and the salad dressing they serve very light and tasty. I think my only criticism is the hot sauce was not hot. The food was tasty enough that it didn't eat any sauce, but I have to say I did enjoy it both with and without. Needless to say, I will be back. Very nice meal.

Warmly welcome by all in the restaurant, small space but easy to find seats. Food was superb and freshly made. Our server was amicable and proper. The family platter was perfect for our group. Can't say enough about the food. Will return for sure!!!

We dined in on a Saturday afternoon.. it was a quick stop but was worth it.. place is very nice and kept clean.. service was amazingly good and super fast .. these guys were very nice and helpful and even offered extra rice to us since it was a quick stop and our order was small.. food quality was very good as always no matter which shah of kabob you visit .. Highly recommend

Food was great and service was quick. Perfect spot for quick take out. We ordered a family platter and it came with so much food. The meats were tender and juicy. The only thing I really was not a fan of was the garlic sauce. I had higher hopes for it, but it tasted like just blended garlic and mayo. Otherwise, the the mast khiar (cucumber yogurt sauce) and the shirazi salad was great.

Cool to have this option in Miami area for those who enjoy Persian cuisine. It's a fast food style and your dish is prepared right then in front of you as kabobs are cooked fresh per your order. I liked the taste and the value for the portion and quality. All nice.

This is a great find and if you don't know the area you would miss it. We went for lunch and got the Koobideh Small Plate, the meat was seasoned perfectly and was delicious so was the Joojeh Small Plate, the chicken was so tender. They both came with rice and salad and it was a great meal.

I ordered the small koobideh plate with rice and salad and 3 oz hummus for dinner. It was delicious and fresh- a lot of rice and salad, I could eat maybe half of it. Would try other things from there for sure. Service was quick and pleasant.

Shahs of Kabob is the most amazing Persian restaurant in the world. I've tried Persian food in many cities and nothing compares to shahs of Kabob. They have so many locations to choose from. Every single thing on the menu is amazing and authentic Iranian dishes. All the locations are so kind and treat you like family and the food is always consistent. I could eat here every day. If you've never tried Iranian food this is the restaurant to try great quality ingredients with delicious flavors. The chicken kabob and ground beef meat is so delicious and we order it at least once a week. A must try in Florida in any location. They also offer catering so amazing.

Seriously delicious Persian food. It's a fast food set up, though there are a few tables and they will bring your order to the table if you eat in. We ordered the Koobideh, which is lamb+beef skewers, and a fesenjooh stew, which is chicken with pomegranate and walnut. Overall the food is excellent, tasty and also healthful. While I usually like fesenjooh, this one is a bit too tart for me, and lacking the garnish of arils and parsley, looks a bit drab. We also try the yogurt drink, which is totally different from your average American yogurt drink. It's seasoned with salt rather than sugar, and is rather tart. Definitely an acquired taste. Overall, really pleased with our first experience and will definitely be back!

I've been getting my weekend family meals from Shahz for over a year and the consistency in quality of the food, service and cleanliness is truly above and beyond. I usually get surprise visits and my go to place is Shahs. The meals for 5-7 people are generous, tasty and crafted with delicious flavors. Best place in town for Iranian food.

I've been here a bunch of times and it always tastes amazing. I get the same thing every-time and the staff is so sweet and welcoming! The only only bad thing is the parking but other than that, it's amazing. I get the same thing every time; koobideh platter, half rice half salad with cranberries and walnuts. The best thing about this place is their sauces. I get 4 types of sauces each time and I make sure I eat all 4 with my meal. Their baklava isn't the best but the food is absolutely incredible. It's light but filling at the same time. Definitely recommend and will definitely continue coming back!

Food: Fresh, scrumptious, and tons of food! The quality of every dish is very well deserved and the flavors are all there. Definitely enjoyed every bit of our meal. We ordered two large Koobideh platters with rice. You can choose the choice of salad or rice or half/half for an additional charge. The hummus with unlimited house bread is super fresh honestly the freshest hummus I have tried to this day. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food received (: 5 out of 5! Service: The manager and staff are very kind and give outstanding customer service as soon as you walk through the door! 5 out of 5! I just realized they have their own store (I've been going to their shop inside the Shoma Bazaar in Doral)!! I'll leave a review for the Shoma Bazaar location as it doesn't seem they have a separate Yelp page for that one (I'll leave out anything that's not food, to make this a fair review). I looove their food. Delicious and fresh. We always go for the grilled mixed platter because it comes with a very generous serving of rice and salad that I always crave. It's also a great dish to try out all of their meats. They're tender and Juicy.

Bread is a very thin tortilla that hardens quick so a microwave is suggested to keep it soft (unfortunately not available in the hotel room). Hummus is heavy on something that has a slight taste of onion and garlic with very little, if any, lemon juice. Wrap and salad were tasty. I'd recommend the restaurant if you are close by and just don't have many choices you want to eat, but if you want a wrap or hummus and pita, I would suggest another place.

I follow a Foodie on IG & she posted this place I saw it and decided to come and have dinner with my daughter first the place is super cool it's called Shoma Bazaar they differed places where you can order food but today I choose Shahs of Kabob a Persian food spot , the guy who attended me I think was named Joe super nice , supper attentive he helped me pick out what to eat , my food was delicious , the meat great quality , the shrimp were jumbo and delicious, our salad was loaded with everything it was delicious, I also ordered a hummus which was perfection! I definitely recommend enjoy the pictures! This place has a great Ambiance, nice aesthetics, good music playing in the background even a bar in the middle !

This hidden gem instantly became a favorite. So much so I had it two days in a row! I always appreciate a flavorful & finely chopped salad. Don't forget to add some sauce, they're all great! Went to get dinner since it was rated 5 star on yelp. It was delicious, and definitely worth the 5 star. We ordered the family platter and there were so much food. Definitely enough to feed 3-4 people. The place is small and the workers were a little loud with the cooking appliances, other than that, definitely a nice hidden place in the area.

I wish that I was living in Miami to eat from this place every day. Salad was tasted super fresh with tons of nuts and berries. Fresh cheese made the salad signature of this place. Loved the combination kabob especially the chenjeh ( the cubes of fillet mignons) and beef koobideh. We sat in the airplane that night after the delicious food and for me it was only sadness of not tasting this kabob for the rest of my life anymore .

This is the original location, may be less fancy in terms of ambiance but excellent food flavor! I can eat here every day ... and they have the best service.

There is promise and possibility here. And I really wanted to like this place. Found it by accident, came with my better half who had not tried Persian good before. Did not realize it was a fast casual kind of place as opposed to a sit down order from a waiter kind of place.... I probably did not pay enough attention Jon to their website photos. The eggplant appetizer to start was zesty and yummy -- it just needed a little salt. The mini tortilla grilled pita like fluffy things were on point. The fensenjoon (one of my favorites) was not balanced enough. It was too sweet. The basmati rice was delish. Lots of it. Could have had less. I forgot how heavy and filling Persian food is. We should have ordered less. Coming here filled the craving -- but next time I would order less and have my salt shaker on hand just in case....

This small cute restaurant is in the heart of South Miami. This restaurant you can either take out or has about 2 or 3 tables inside to dine in. The menu is displayed on 2 large screens right in front of the cash register to place your order. The food was delicious. I was able to order a shrimp skewer full meal, which I saved for late because it was a lot of food. My coworkers ordered the chicken and meat, I believe it was beef. Being a pescatarian, I was uber excited that they had shrimp. The humus was also devine with great flavor. The only downside was that the tortillas used for the humus was hard! I did not enjoy them. I wish they used a softer pita or a bread similar to naan or even a pita chip, but that was not good. If my bread was on point, then I would have rated this place 5 stars! All in all, decent prices for the amount of food.

Persian food is one of my favorite cuisines and this place did not disappoint! The koubideh kabobs were so juicy and flavorful. The sauce that came with the dish went perfectly with it.

I had to stay at a hotel for a few days due to my house having a leak and getting it fixed. I chose a place close to UM as it is close to my house... Leading me to this little Persian restaurant which after a long day of work and then working out, it fit into my busy schedule. After three days eating there for dinner, I started to get major stomach pains and ended up going to rest room multiple times a day. A had a hunch so I went back to order again just to make sure it wasn't this place. This time I watched the cook. First of all, the male workers all wearing black gloves were handling the trash and cleaning but then with the same gloves handling the food trays that held food and sauces. I then observed the cook continually take a sip from his water cup and after a while he grabbed that same water cup and throw it on the grill to create some smoke that fed up into my Kabob. The cook was also wearing those same black gloves and during the whole time he was cooking, he picked up a phone that was used by everyone including the guys taking out trash, he then started cleaning the work table with a nasty rag and a bottle of disinfectant. The last straw was when I watched him with those same nasty gloves pick up red peppers and placed into my plate and then started scooping the rice with those same gloves. I kindly brought it up to the waitress, that it was extremely unsanitary and he was cross contaminating everything... that I also wanted my money back. Now I know why I was sick for 3 days. Safe to say I will not be going back there.

Return or not return? RETURN, checks every box. Parking not so easy, place small, but food and service warrants another trip. Cashier guy was polite, friendly, and respectful. Koobideh was solid as wasn't "ground beef" like many other places. Chicken was juicy, tender and flavorful. Only small issue was the amount of rice was great, but could get dry without another tomato or some onions, cucumbers, etc...3 types of sauces was great. Yellow one was the best with a pleasant, zesty, lemon juice/acid note.

New fave!!! Food quality and taste is amazing! Wish they had lunch specials - I'd be here several times a week. It's a bit small but I believe the other locations have more seating. Must try!

All around Poor experience was treating the staff for lunch (order 5 plates) and they forget all the Sauce (which elevates the food) They forgot THE DIET COKE All of the salad tasted unwashed Hummus tasted SOUR , was definitely spoiled+ extra pita was burnt a team members asked for no onions and they added a huge half of a red onion as a garnish

If you have never had Persian food this is a great place for some introduction plates ... The portions are big ... prices are fair .... the food is good, yet basic ... maybe because we went to the south Miami location so we didn't get the vibes of a great experience .. this location in south Miami is bare bones and tiny ... parking is next door in a garage .. their is limited street parking around the restaurant. This place would be great if it was a sit down service but you order at the counter and then you pick up your food also at the counter (at least the day we were there) so service is non existent ... wish there would be explanation of plates and sides ... Maybe next time we go to the Coral Gables location for more ambiance ...

I ordered from this AMAZING restaurant thru UberEats. Food arrived hot, presentation was beautiful, everything was so nicely plated and FRESH!!!! Salad was delish, grilled tomato was charred just perfect and juicy, rice was great and the chicken kabob WOW!!!! Juicy, tender and flavorful. I've ordered from this establishment before but had to post a review because your food is always great, appreciate that you guys put so much effort to delivery service as you do when we eat there in person. Oh I almost forgot...THANK YOU for the Sumac sauce, you didn't forget and I LUV this sauce (can you luv sauce... Humm, well I can lol). Thanks again guys keep you the GREAT way you serve your customers

Food here is amazing! If your into quick Mediterranean food like Rice Kitchen or others out there, do no skip out on Shahs, they have them beat! Huge portions. Extremely flavorful and well cooked! Will not disappoint!!!

If you have not eaten at Shahs of Kabob yet then you are missing out big time. I found this place when it had just opened and was still pick up or delivery only on a day I had a training in South Miami. Ever since, I've eaten there or ordered several times. It never fails to deliver a most delicious small variety of kabobs that are so tender and juicy, and full of flavors. I often order the family meal that comes with 4 Skewers Koobideh Kabob (koftah style or minced meat kabob), 2 Skewer Joojeh Kabob (chicken), and 2 Skewer Chenjeh Kabob (steak) served with rice, 5 grilled tomatoes, pita bread, 16 once of Mastokhair and 16 once of shirazi salad. It is a very generous amount of food and they have different sizes of family platters that will feed 3-5 or 5-7 people. The rice is cooked to perfection and the sauces and salads are a great accompaniment to the meat. The bread they lay down under the skewers soaks up the juices of the meat and is just another great addition to this delectable meal. The tasty grilled tomatoes are another item they add to their generous orders. The staff is very nice and always helps me carry out the food to the car when it's a big order. So next time you are in South Miami, don't forget to try this joint out. You will not regret it.

My first time trying Persian food left me thoroughly impressed. The meats were exceptionally well-seasoned and packed with flavor, while the salad was both light and delicious. We ordered the mixed grill with rice and salad, which proved to be more than enough for three people. The restaurant was clean, and the music added a trendy touch. It has quickly become one of my new favorite spots to eat!

The food was over priced. I was charged $28 for a steak salad. The steak had had a weird smell to it but the salad was decent but I don't understand how it was $28 for it. Didn't even come with a drink. Just a bowl of salad and steak kabob. The customer service was good and the food came out fast but I feel like I ordered a salad in Tokyo somewhere at a fine dinning restaurant. It doesn't add up for me, won't be returning.

Such a hole in the wall! By far the BEST lebanese food I have ever had. I got the koobideh plate and my friend got the joojeh plate. First bite was an absolute delight. and so was the second, third, fourth, all the way up to the last. The koobideh kebab was so so tender and juicy, a flavor blast in my mouth. I will say it was a bit fatty, but fat=flavor, right? I'm not complaining!! The service was great. The waiter let us try all the sauces, which were all really unique and complimented the meat really well. The salad with the vinaigrette was refreshing and provided a great contrast against the deep flavor of the kebabs. We ate and left noooo crumbs. (see evidence in photo) Highly recommend

I enjoy eating here. I have to drive a bit to get there but I think it's worth it. The wait is never long, the people are friendly, and the place is clean and cute.
