Had to check out this new Hawaiian/Korean place as that combination is right up my alley. They ran out of rice so temporarily closed ordering, but we said we didn’t mind waiting since we came especially for this place. The owners came out and said it’ll be 10-15 minutes and brought us two complimentary bottles of water which was a pleasant surprise on a warm day. Then they came back out a bit later saying the rice is done but it’ll be another 5-10 minutes still, and brought us two of their li hing popsicles (which were AMAZING) and one of their kraken puff snacks (haven’t tried it yet!). How generous of them!! When we did get the food, it was all really great. They have some especially creative options, we got the seared salmon musubi (what?! in my life of eating musubi, this was a first for me), as well as a cali crab musubi (which was surprisingly refreshing, again a first for musubis). We also got one of their original musubis. All of them were really good! It is in a ghost kitchen sort of place so there’s no seating unfortunately, but I’ll definitely be back to try some of their other things on the menu! 🤙

I had the Katsu Spam, Torched Honey Char Siu Pork Belly, and Spam Egg Avocado. They were all incredibly well made and by far the best tasting musubi I've had in America. I can't wait to try more of their menu. I also forgot to try their Mac Salad, damn. This was my first "cloud kitchen" experience and honestly I loved it. I ordered and paid at the kiosk and when my order was ready, they sent a link by text that unlocked the small locker holding my food. Perfection.

Great food!! Loved the seared salmon musubi, chicken bowl and the Wagyu burger. Great quality and packaged well for delivery. Good prices for the amount of food.

Google
As much as I am not a huge fan of the "pick up food from a locker" model, I can't deny how good the food is. These are Hawaii quality musubis my friends. As someone who has half his family in Oahu and half in Seattle, finding Hawaiian food like this is a miracle.

I’m usually not excited about virtual kitchens, but this one has changed the game! Excellent quality ingredients, food, and speed.

We had Shakasnacks cater a large birthday party for 100 people and they were amazing! Ordered 120 musubis of various types and the owner cut them in half, delivered to our venue for free, set it up, and all the guests loved the food! It was exactly what we were looking for for a casual family friendly brunch.

Shaka Snacks is one of the best Hawaiian food you can get in the Seattle area. Their creativity with traditional Musubis are unrivaled in the Seattle area! Service is amazing and quick. The owners are super caring in ensuring every order is made with love 🤙

Google
Amazing musubi and the loco moco is delicious! The food is always hot, good portions! It's great to have good Hawaiian eats and support a locally run family business! The hawaiian chex mix stuff is also delicious! 👌

Yelp
This one was a little funny to me. Backstory- I finished a 4.5 hour studio class and needed to get some rice in my system. I love musubis and this was the closest Hawaiian place to UW campus. Drove 8 minutes down to Roosevelt and the sun already set. When Google Maps sent me here I thought it was a joke. It actually looked a little weird outside because of all the concrete. Went inside and it's just this tight room with 2 screens and a wall full of lockers. Pop off but also ??? Wuuuuut??? No seating. It's because they share the space with a bunch of other restaurants. It was just a fun new concept to me. Prices were good considering it's Seattle. Ordered 3 musubis because next time I'm just going to order pickup on my phone- way easier than tablet ordering since it'll take 10 min at least. Ordered the seared salmon, spam egg avocado, and mochiko chicken. Seared salmon I tried first. Didn't really like that one because of the fish heheh but thought I'd try. Rice was moist I like it sticker. Spam, egg, and avocado made up for it. The SAUUUUCE was sooooo good. The spam and egg were fried to perfection. The mochiko chicken was pretty good but I wish it was fried a bit more because some of it was a little mushy. Overall, I love this place for a cheaper snack. I think I would order only the spam egg and avocado but maybe I'll try the other food options later. What a hole in the wall!

Yelp
It was an interesting experience, this place I s located within a cohort of restaurants. There is a kiosk you can order from when you go in or you can order online for pickup from a locker (like Amazon lockers for packages). It was very fast! The food was ok, the rice was sticking to the parchment paper and no rice vinegar in the rice. The spam egg and avocado and mochiko chicken was the best. A little messy to eat and the seaweed wasn't breaking apart so the whole piece came off in one bite.

Yelp
This place is a really great value. We ordered through door dash and everything arrived fresh and crunchy when it was supposed to be crunchy. We also stopped by here during the $4 food walk and found f bag this place is in a building with a bunch of other restaurants, and you don't get to intercept with anyone face to face. You order at a machine and your food is placed in a locker when done. There is a decent parking nearby

Yelp
Tried Shaka Snacks for the first time today and was not disappointed! I loved the seared salmon musibi and the katsu spam was also good but a bit salty for me. Gotta go back and try different ones!

Yelp
I ordered the seared salmon musubi, katsu musubi, and the shaka musubi, as well as the mac salad. Both the salmon and katsu musubis were not good. I'm not sure what it was but neither tasted the way it should. The salmon one was way too fishy. The katsu one was also weird. I don't have a review for the Shaka musubi as I am saying that for my daughter. I figured I'll eat the two novelty musubis and leave the traditional one for her since you can't really mess up spam musubi. But now I'm worried after having had the salmon and katsu ones. The Mac salad was also not good. I was expecting Hawaiian mac salad or mac salad at BBQ restaurants and cookouts. Everything just tasted really off and weird and bad. It's ruined my appetite to find a redemption meal. I will not be ordering here again. It was done through the DoorDash app.

Yelp
Great quick service lunch spot in the north end. Love to pick up food and have lunch at green lake. Musubi's are in point, bao burgers are delicious. Don't forget to pick up some kanaka crunch and some tots!

Yelp
Was able to get this delivered at work for lunch and it was great! So many different types of musubi!. I tried the seared salmon one and wow the salmon was buttery and flavorful. Also tried their Kraken Puffs and now I get why they named their snacks this. Worth a try for sure and easy to transport for a picnic around town too.

Yelp
This review is on behalf of my BF who ordered on Tuesday. The order was through Uber Eats and an item was left off. It happens no big deal. My BF ordered from them again last night Wed and guess what? The item was added to his order with a cute note acknowledging the forgotten item. What?? Suuuuper nice. For them to remember the customer and add the item to their new order.. so thoughtful. Review on the food: Mac Salad- My BF is not a fan of Mac Salad but, Mac salad from here...he'll eat it. I only had one bite and it was really good. Wagyu Beef Loco Moco - Delicious and he says better than Kona Kitchen. Spam Masubi - Yum. My daughter really liked the sauce on it. Seared Salmon- The forgotten item that was so thoughtfully added to the next order - Really good. I think it was eaten in 2 bites. There was no food left over. He ordered from this place back to back. No question this is his fav Hawaiian spot for food.

Yelp
Wow these musubi are the !! The best I've had in Seattle and reminds me of Hawaii! Ratio of rice to protein is perfect. 3 was perfect to feed a hungry person. These are perfect for potlucks as you can cut them in half for easy sharing. I highly recommend for a party or for a picnic!

Yelp
Pretty good value. I went with my cousins right after getting off the plane. We ordered online and did our order pickup. The location is in a building of multiple other small restaurants. We checked in through our phones and our musubis came out Amazon locker-style. Pretty good but would order multiple items to fill you up.

Yelp
Great size/quality to price ratio, especially for Seattle where musubi prices get ridiculous. You can tell that everything was made to order - the nori was still crispy, the rice sticky, the mochiko chicken fresh from frying (crispy outside tender inside), the fried egg with crispy edges, etc. Can't wait to try more of the musubis and other foods. My only wonder is if there's a better packaging option - some of the rice was sticking to the paper, but it's a very minor nitpick.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
No need to go to Hawaii for musubis anymore! Creative flavors and varieties. Could eat this everyday and not get bored.

Yelp
This is one of those pop up kitchens with no attached restaurant, so don't walk up expecting to sit down like I did. Their Spam Musubi was excellent, albeit a hard one to get wrong. Their seared salmon didn't do much for me. I'd keep it simple, but it was a quick way to get a cheap spam musubi.

Shelby M.

Yelp
Yes- everything so delicious the musubi and the Bao Burgers both so good made with WAGYU or the chicken you have to have both but couldn't possibly eat them both so do what I do split it with someone so you can have both. The tots are delicious and don't forget to get KANAKA CRUNCH too for later!

Kaitlyn M.

Yelp
They sent us a burger that was more chewy stuff (tendons and whatever else) than actual beef. It was disgusting.
