Updated Review – Giving Credit Where It’s Due
In the past, I posted a low review about Shake-a-Leg based on a couple of bad experiences I had. But I truly believe that when a business makes improvements, it’s only right to come back and acknowledge the growth.
Because I love supporting and spending my money in my community, and since I recently decided to stop eating red meat, I found myself hungry one day with nothing prepped at home. I decided to give Shake-a-Leg another try and ordered their salmon egg rolls—and when I tell you they were the most delicious egg rolls I’ve ever eaten, I truly mean that.
I’ve had egg rolls before, including salmon egg rolls from other places, and they were often dry or had a fishy taste. Not these. These were moist, flavorful, and absolutely magnificent. Since that first order, I’ve gone back two more times just for them, and they were consistently amazing.
Sometimes when a business is new, they’re simply working out the kinks, and I didn’t want to leave a negative impression out there without coming back to give proper credit where it’s earned.
Shake-a-Leg has become my go-to spot when I want a quick, satisfying bite that’s non-red meat, and they delivered in a big way.
If you haven’t tried their salmon egg rolls, I highly recommend you check them out. They are worth the money.
Because of this experience, I’m deleting my previous review, where I had given Shake-a-Leg one star. That review reflected how I felt at the time, but it no longer represents the quality, improvement, and consistency I’ve experienced since then.
Growth deserves to be acknowledged, and I believe in being fair when a business gets it right.
