Shake Shack Alpharetta

First time visitor to this location and boy I glad we stopped by for a quick bite to eat. The order stations as you walk were quick and easy to navigate and the food was delivered to our table very quickly. The fries were perfection and the burgers were exactly what I expect from Shake Shack. One of the better burgers you can get at a quick serve restaurant. Check it out, you'll be glad you did.

Great burgers and quick service! ordered a cheeseburger and a double ShackBurger—both were delicious! The patties were juicy, the buns were fresh, and everything was made just right. The staff was friendly and the service was fast, even though it was pretty busy. The restaurant was clean . Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving a quality burger. Will be back!

#MyFirstTime I told one of the guru I would leave a review because he shared how it was such a family type vibe to work. The way he described the experience it exceeded my expectations. I tried the shack stack, and I was beyond surprised. It was truly yummy 😋 along with the 🍒 🌸 cherry blossom shake. Lorie was amazing she explained the menu in such details, which makes you wanna come back and try the entire menu. Overall, 9.5 , the restaurant sits off a main highway, parking is great, and it was clean.

Shake Shake is always a fun treat. This location is great since they have the drive thru (app orders only) and options inside and patio! Parking is limited all the time to park close but there is plenty of free parking around (just not close to the building). I find this location to be clean and the staff is very friendly. Verlin heard it was my kids first time and gave them free juice boxes! The food is a four out of five stars in my opinion. I think there are better places to get a burger and shake, but by no means are these ever not an enjoyable meal! I tried the fried pickles this trip and will NOT be getting them again. Prices are going to run you about $9 per burger and you’re going to pay separately for shakes which run about $8. Fries are $6 unless you want spicy fries or cheese fries or some kind of extra.

First time here and stopped for lunch. It was busy. I ordered a single stack burger and added onion and pickles. We also ordered a fried chicken, bacon, and avacado sandwich with a side of fries. It didn't take but ten minutes give or take to get our food. When they brought it out, the chicken sandwich did not have avacado or bacon on it. I took it up, and they fixed it immediately. After sitting back down, I noticed my sandwich did have onion, but no pickles. I rechecked my ticket just to be sure, but decided to ignore the issue and just eat. They both tasted good, but nothing stood out. The bacon is definitely not cripsy. I was a little let down. I'm not a fan of floppy bacon. The fries were great. I will be back to try more items. All the staff that I spoke to was super helpful and attentive. Clean as well.

My grandson wanted to try this place, so I agreed. This was our first time trying the Shake Shack. He had a chicken sandwich and cheese fries, and I had a double cheeseburger. We ordered online first from the parking lot to pick up from their drive-thru. The order was placed around 7:45 pm, and the time frame they gave was 8:01 pm - 8:06 pm. We made it to the pickup window at 8:15 pm and still had to wait for our food. My grandson liked his sandwich and fries. My burger wasn't anything to write home about. It put me in the mind of Steak n Shake and definitely not worth ten dollars. The lettuce was wilted, and I asked for the sauce on the side. I didn't receive any sauce or napkins. I think the wait to pickup was really long. They seemed a little unorganized inside because the person handing out the orders came and asked for my name like three different times. This was most likely a one and done for me. The bill was close to $25 for two sandwiches and an order of cheese fries. I could have gone to Craft Burger, American Deli, or a number of other places and received 2 sandwiches, 2 fries, and 2 drinks for about the same, and actually really enjoyed it. This is just my experience and my opinion. I hope this helps someone.

One of my go-to spots after work. Pricier than the average drive-thru burger joint but worth it. The quality is always great. The drive-thru guy with glasses has fantastic service as well.

We love Shake Shack! I’ve tried several burger places and so far this is my favorite. The food is fresh with crispy fries and my kids say the shakes are delicious. The service is just ok and the atmosphere is a typical burger places but the food is where it’s at!

was rushing to my night shift for work and wanted something comforting to carry me through! Shake shack did the thing. I always get the shack burger-single with bacon and fries. I ordered ahead and drove up, and they had my order ready in 5 minutes. It was exactly what i wanted and sauces, ketchup were provided as requested. It's a juicy nicely sized patty (not overbearing) with a grilled taste. The fries are always crisp and hot. Recommend for a quick guilty worth it run for burger and fries!

I just don't understand the hype... the service is slow the food is marginal and the shakes are not that good. Am I alone in this? I have had a burger and it was ok... the fries were good, then I also had a shake... which was watery and not very good at all. I've even tried the chicken sandwich...it was passable but nothing fantastic. All the burger places in the area and this is not one of the first I would go to.

I'm not a fan of the touchscreen kiosk ordering system, but the burger was great! It looked like the giant, overstuffed burgers you see on television commercials and was really flavorful. The fries were hard and dry, which was disappointing because I normally love crinkle fries. I suspect they had been sitting out for some time. It's not a place I'd want to sit and relax or meet a friend for lunch, but it's great for a quick and yummy burger on the go.

We ordered shakes and we got an empty bag?!?! Both Shake Shack Alpharetta & Uber get a FAIL!!! Uber Eats?!?? What are you doing?!?!? Would have given zero stars but was forced to give a star. That needs to change Yelp. Sometimes, places need a negative star. Tell the CX/UX team this feature needs to be implemented. I'm sure they have data that shows this need. Steak N' Shake at least checks the bags before they send on. C'mon guys....Check it before you send it!

Evening visit as it was not planned...just hungry. Pull up to a modern building. I just sat in car a few minutes before going inside. thinking...the shake shack visited in Sacramento years ago...more than 6 didn't look like this. this one is upscale looking. bathroom visit is gender neutral and it was not clean. go back to car and then back inside to order. ordering was through a table-top "kiosk". I'm older so I still need a menu board posted to see what I want. pictures without description is not enough. ordered: Korean Burger and Bacon cheeseburger 2 fries..chicken nuggets..$34 dollars. wth????? Korean Burger could have been better but I can say I tried it. why is this place so popular??

Ordered online, and picked up through pickup service. Server at the pickup window was extremely nice & courteous. No cars in the line and no waiting. He handed out the nice bag of hot chicken sandwich kept in a fancy box with a chilled bottle of water. I just couldn't resist to eat it right away as it was nothing like fast food cheap bag and fried chicken from a frozen patty. I parked on the side and ate in a rush and forgot to take a picture. Very yummy huge sandwich with fresh ingredients. The quality of sandwich was very good. Mayo on the side kept the sandwich crunchy until the end. The service, food and overall experience even without a dine-in service, it was a restaurant like service. Sandwich was pricey in comparison to chick-fila, arbys, McD but I wanted to check out the place and in the end, I felt that it was all worth it. Great experience !!

As a first time customer, I ordered a vanilla shake and a large strawberry lemonade. Both were fantastic, although a bit pricey (it was $11 for both). The 2nd time I visited I ordered a vanilla shake and afterwards realized I missed a promo code I meant to redeem. After speaking with the cashier, they not only offered to give me the code for next time but gave me a comped shake for the trouble. Their customer service was amazing!

We had a great late lunch here today. The process was seamless. The food was amazing. I loved the crinkle fries and the double shack burger. Our food was ready rather quickly. The chocolate shake was delicious. This was my first shack experience. It will not be the last.

Cute packaging and friendly service but the cost is too much for what it is. Everything should be $1.50 less. I got a hamburger and Parmesan truffle fries. The fries were just ok but were elevated by the truffle sauce (which comes on the side) and has a lovely kick without being overpowering or tasting artificial. The burger is average. Super average patty but the bun and pickles are quite good. I enjoyed myself but with a simple burger and fries being $12 (and this is without a drink) I can't see myself returning.

Food was good and the milkshakes were the creamiest I've ever had. Flavor of the burgers were very good and the fries were good as well. However I thought the price was high for what we got. Over $40 for two burgers, fries and shakes. Service was good and you order for yourself and they bring it to your table.

Amazing place! First off, the touchpads made the ordering process really easy, and the service was really quick, which surprised me since it was so full. The food, flawless. Everything felt like biting into a million dollars (which is my only con, it's a little bit too expensive for the size). The place was really clean and comfortable, everyone was happy. Despite the price, I think it's kind of worth it, and I truly recommend this place!!

Update 9/11/22 I definitely suggest ordering on the App and picking up through the drive thru. It takes around 10 minutes and they text you when the order is ready. If you want, you can park and dine inside or on the outdoor patio. Cheers

Not bad of a place ! But definitely not worth the money. It's very clean and the employees are all very nice ! My burger for a single is extremely small. Everything is all a carte instead of combos so you can pick and choose what you want to order. I'd try everything on the menu but to be a regular customer would be more of a challenge based on price alone. Burger was good but not extremely amazing. Fries are crinkle cut. Food came out quick and there's plenty of parking

Anyone who lives in the northern metro part of Atlanta who enjoys going to Shake Shack, knows how much of a pain the location at Perimeter Mall is. Then, to add salt to the wound, I found out my sister got one near her house in Huntersville, NC. I then found out the local Burger King (that was around 30 plus years) closed down. But to a bittersweet ending to BK, a Shake Shack would be born! I was so excited, and (like my friends) have been waiting patiently and drooling by the fence lines. Yesterday, was the grand opening. Now, if you do not know, the way I always suggest ordering is to use the app. At most locations, you go in, grab, and go. Or you can order and eat there, but I prefer being quick. However, yesterday was so busy, that the online ordering was not available- womp womp. I even drove by after work and there were 30 ppl waiting. It was time to reset and try again. I woke up and around 11:15, the ordering was turned on. I was able to do (check this out) the unique option of the drive up pick up window! So, I ordered my go to- a double smoke shack and bacon cheese fries. They were ready in like 5 mins. I got the text and hauled over there. It was busy when I got there, but that pick up line (being monitored by an employee to prevent unwanted line cloggers) was open and it was the easiest pick up experience, ever! I went home like an excited child and scarfed my meal like my hamsters do when I give them carrots. It tasted like every time I have eaten it before. The people at the window, were very friendly. Can't wait to go back, because you know I will after seeing how easy today was! A surefire hit for the northern burbs!

My first time at a Shake Shack. Got a cheeseburger and fries. Food was excellent. The carolina bbq sauce for the fries was good too. The lemonade was excellent. It's hard to find good homemade lemonade but theirs is really good. You could order at kiosk or counter. We did the counter. Everyone was very nice. Someone came around to make sure everything was okay which we liked. It's fairly noisy because it's small but not too bad. Will go back.

terrible service took too long to get my food. Also gave me a turkey burger instead of the I wanted

We waited over an hour for our food. When they brought it, they forgot half of our order. They don't have people to clean tables.

Shake Shack has always been good, fresh, quality food but it's expensive for what they offer. I stopped by this new Alpharetta location for dinner and saw the self-service tablet station to order and pay. I perused through the menu and everything is a la carte. There are no combo meal deals like other fast food restaurants. I decided to get the original single cheeseburger and a vanilla shake and my total was around $13 with no service. I passed on the fries, because they are not that good--I much prefer if they offered onion rings. During my visit, there was no customer service to speak of and I didn't interact with a single worker there as everything was through the tablet system and then you pick up your order upon receiving a text message. The burger was tasty albeit a bit cold and the shake was creamy and rich, but a rather small portion size.

Place was clean and service was very friendly. Griffin was courteous and welcoming. Food quality was also great. We had a chicken sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich with fries. It came out hot and the ingredients were fresh. And oh - that spicy chicken? Spicy indeed. With that said, I agree with most of the reviews regarding the amount of food that you get for what you're paying for - after our meal, We were still quite hungry LOL!!! But then again, shrinkflation is real. At least they made up for it on quality. All in all, if you're super hungry or a heavy eater, but on a tight budget, this may not be the place for you. But if you're looking for a "snack", then this will do.

Do you like to overpay of average food? Do you like to wait in line to ring up your own order. After that, do you want the computer to suggest a tip? Then this is the place for you. For the price, the place should look nicer. The quality of food is on par with Wendy's, but it's almost twice the price. I won't be back. Good luck y'all.

What a great visit. First time ever Having shake shack and it was quite the experience. I ordered the plain Jane cheeseburger and the bacon cheese fries and boy howdy those cheese fries are good! Very crispy crinkle fries. The cheeseburger was pretty good, honestly tasted a bit like steak and shakes cheeseburger. I ordered the Christmas cookie milkshake and that thing was absolutely delicious. My GPS says I live 37 minutes from this location, but it may be worth a 37 minute trip to go back and get another!

Worst service!!!!! They see you there waiting for an online order where it clearly states: online order pick up and yet nobody bothers checking. They had online order through drive thru window . So I'm waiting over 20 minutes when the stupid bag is on the drive thru. Why bother having employees if even you are there you have to order yourself and do everything. Stupid stupid place. Never again!!!!

Great veggie burger. Will definitely be getting one often. Also enjoyed the strawberry lemonade.

You can complain all you want, but these guys know how to make a good burger. Is it cheap? No, but either is Chipotle and I spend $60 for a family of four there too. Both kids said it was the best burger they've had in a long time. My daughter had a GF bun and loved it. My wife had it in a lettuce wrap. My son had a shake with his burger, and I had a chicken sandwich (these are amazing here btw). They make black and whites?? Yes please. Do I like spending this much on a fast meal? Not really, but I spend way more for way less these days. Well done guys. Keep it up. Note, if you like SS and ever get to New York, you owe it to yourself to visit the Madison Square Park location. There is something about eating these out of a bag in the grass that changes you.

Eating at Shake Shack is all about the timing. If you get there and there is a line out the door, keep on driving. It's not worth the long wait. But if you can get in easily and there are seats available, then head on in. In their defense, the location is super small. It was once a BK, so it wasn't intended for large crowds. I've been there twice since they opened. Both times were busy, but not so busy that I couldn't get a table. There are a handful of tablets for you to place your order yourself, or you can wait in line and order from an employee. Ordering on the tablet is super easy btw. The food both times was solid. What I would expect. I don't love their fries, they need to be cooked another minute or two for crispness IMO, but their burgers are good. My daughter loves the buffalo chicken sandwich. The shakes are good, but borderline too runny. They offer refills on the specialty lemonades, which is nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful both times I visited. FYI Shake Shake is expensive. Lunch for me and my daughter was around $35.

This location is new so I wanted to give it a try. Let's start with what I like. The building is pretty and looks nice, fresh and modern. The drive through is for app orders only. This is a must for 2022. The food was Decent for fast food. The negative. The price was pricey for a fast food type restaurant. It averages about $15 per person and we shared fries. I was not blown away by the food to justify for me personally to spend that $.

NOT CONTACTABLE. You cannot reach out to the location by phone if you need to alter anything or ask any questions. Aside from the fact the food is expensive, they don't allow you to cancel pick up orders. I tried to cancel it immediately after ordering to take something out, but they don't allow you to cancel orders, even though they hadn't started making it yet.

The food was pretty good. Way better than In N Out. I loved the fries just wished they had a bigger amount. The servers were nice and the place was very clean. It can be expensive though. And the burgers can be quite greasy. My stomach kinda hurts a little bit after eating it.

I honestly liked everything we ordered. Food came out fast, it was hot.. we were in the mood for burgers and fries, and it satisfied our taste buds! We didn't get a milkshake, but I will come again and try one!

First time here looking forward to some great burgers. It has been a few years since I had a burger from this franchise. I was not disappointed by the quality of their burgers. My wife and I both had the Shack Burger she had a single and I had the double. The burgers were fantastic and this came from my wife and I agree. Burgers were hot and loved the sauce that was on them, rolls were nice and fresh and it was a wonderful meal. Also ordered a side of fries that we both shared, my wife had a chocolate shake and I had a Coke Zero. Place was set up with glow in mind. When you walk in on your left is two kiosks to place orders and pay with a credit card. Then at the counter two registers for cash. Nice outside sitting area which we took advantage off being it was in the low 70's with hardly any wind. They also have wipes and sanitizer available to use if you desire. The staff was very pleasant, our cashier was training a new girl and doing a great job. Got our whole meal it was $30.00 so a little pricey but for the special treat I am okay with it.

So this is how shake shack package to go orders now. Not sanitary and for the price I would love to have my food boxed and covered. Pay more get less these days smh

I ordered at 5:45 and was given a pickup time of 5:56-6:01. I never got a text that it was ready. At 6:06 I started calling. No one answered. I called over 10 times. At 6:16 I walked in. My order had been sitting at the window for 20 mins. I tried a fry to see if it was cold and it was. They remade it. When I said I never got a text she giggled and said "I know". No apologies, nothing. Then I watched her hand the meal that I had just touched to an employee who took it, looked at me and laughed and then proceeded to eat it. My meal was finally handed to me at 6:21 with no apology. Shaky. They need to change the name to Shaky Shack. Because that customer service is SHAKY.

Burger was good and fresh. Although not very filling on its own. I got the single. Chicken bites super tender and hot. Loved the breading although it fell off the chicken. BBQ sauce was decent. Fries were nothing special. The half tea half strawberry lemonade was watered down. Had them remake it. It was ok. I would not get it again $40 for two people Overall food was decent but not worth the money. It will not be my 2 go place. It's more hype than anything. Good to try once.

We were so excited to try this location. Don't freak out if the line is long. It moves fast. The ability to use self-service ordering with our credit cards was very convenient. They sent us a text message when our food was ready. The food-Let's get straight into it because that is what we did to this amazing meal. Our burgers were awesome and cooked perfect as always. Juicy with crispy edges. It's not often to be able to get both in a burger but they pull it off each time. The fries were hot and crispy. I love their unique lemonade flavors. I don't remember which one we got, but it was one of their summer specials. Though they were busy, the customer service was on point, the restaurant was clean, and our food was amazing. I definitely recommend trying this new location! This location is only 15 minutes from us so we're definitely putting this in our rotation of places to eat burgers. Yum!

Tried for 1st time. Order on tablets & wait for your order. The menu is burgers, a few chicken offerings , shakes. Hotdogs & fries. We had a hot dog & burger & shared fries. The restaurant was moderately busy. The tables were not that clean..could have used a wipe down. The wait for food was longer than I expected. The hot dog was fine...plain. Only condiments on counter is ketchup...probably could ask for others. The burger was expected. The fries were crispy. Just alright overall.

Food was really good, but there was barely any cheese on my fries. I had to pay extra for cheese, so we're I would like if there was more cheese.

Great shakes!!!! I had double malt and it was done to perfection. The burgers are really good and the fries are spectacular!!! The staff were very nice and my food was delivered in a short amount of time. Great place for the classic foods

Drove 45 minutes to get here it was totally worth it. Ordered for a drive-through pick up everything was fresh and hot!

I come to this location often, as it's an easy drive and I like good food. When it's hot, it's absolutely delicious! Another plus--I don't think I've ever had to go back because any part of my order was incorrect. Warning for app/online order placers--you'll be given a pickup time window, and the confirmation email says to come up within 5 minutes of the window if you haven't received a text. If your window is 4:30-4:35, be in the drive through by 4:35. The last couple of times I waited the 5 minutes (especially if it looks busy) and my food was getting cold and my drink was watered down. Best experience is sitting in the restaurant and ordering once you get there! :)

Service was horrible. I stood at the register waiting for someone to take. Then I finally placed my order at the kiosk. They did not seem to take orders of those with a lighter complexion at the register. 6/23/2023 around 6:15pm

Quite delicious burgers and fries. Fast service and clean place. Next time I'll try the shake. Must be good.

This is an update on my last review. Management were very responsive to the issues raised and that is a much appreciated quality. We tried again and there is no question that the food tastes very good. We will return.

You have to be kidding me... $57 for three mushroom burgers, two fries, and two shakes at a fast food joint. The food better be great and it wasn't. I make better fries in my oven. Are you kidding me? Malt was good, but overpriced. Mushroom burger was tasty, but too small. Staff was nice, especially Griffin who was greeting people at the door.

I feel so un-hip leaving a poor review, but I absolutely don't get the hype. $15 for an average single patty burger, fries and tea? And all self-service at kiosks to order your food. They obviously aren't passing on the labor savings. But worse, you're touching a screen that's been used by a LOT of people before you just before you eat with your hands. And, DON'T get in line behind any families. It will take a long time to order. Why not just go to any one of the dozens of other burger places that are a third less expensive and they don't pawn the ordering process off on you? Or go to a restaurant with better food where they wait on you. Burger FI. Five Guys. Rheas. Bocado. Shane's. Lucky's. Butcher and Brew. Scratch Fresh. I'm have no idea why people love this place so much.

I called the store to tell them about my experience and left a rating and the only person that reached out to me was the manager Lori (not sure that's the correct spelling) whom I explained my experience, me getting sick and how I frequent this location and she not once apologized or tried to make the situation better. She had awful customer service skills, and just dismissed me to the hospitality team whom I have not heard from. I am very disappointed in her "managerial" skills. A lack of concern or care about a customer getting sick is despicable.

service is always garbage, everyone seems miserable, the burgers are soggy, the fries always taste bitter like they're cooked in oil that needs to be changed (I've worked in kitchens I would know) they skimp sauce portions always and the drinks are either flat or lacking flavor (lemonade). I've tried other locations- this one is the worst I've ever been to. tried it twice both times I've had issues. I get people have off days but this location needs new employees or management

Crowds were not out the door tonight so we gave it a try. Happy happy we did as food was tasty and fresh. Only complaint was the fries were cooked well, but were cold. Definitely going back. Wife says the chicken bites were so good she'll never eat chic-fil-a nuggets again

I mean, yeah, I guess it's good. I'd put it somewhere between McDonald's and Umami. If you've been to LA, it's *almost* as good at Fatburger. But is it a good price? Not really. Is it easy to order? Not really. Is it clean? I guess. Is it possible to find anything else like it, perhaps for less? Absolutely. I *will* say that for a burger joint, they have an EXCEPTIONAL chicken sandwich. Try 'em at least once so you can find out for yourself if it's worthy of the hype.
