Google
Nice casual burger joint for all tastes. I liked that they had vegan options and the price wasn't breaking our wallets. Service was great and the atmosphere also perfect for a quick eat. I do wish they weren't out of their special spicy fries, which they advertised a lot. The Portobello mushroom burger was delicious but I felt was too small for my appetite. My wife did love the veggie burger.

Google
The food at Shake Shack was okay—nothing mind-blowing, but decent enough if you’re in the mood for a burger and fries. That said, the wait was insane. Way longer than it should be for fast-casual food. By the time we got our order, it was hard to stay excited about it. The quality is consistent, but the overall experience just didn’t feel worth the time. Three stars for decent food, but the wait really took away from the experience.

Google
This is a well-done burger from Shake Shack. Unfortunately, it is undercooked, which raises concerns about its safety and nutritional quality. For a meal that costs over $58, it's disappointing to receive food that is not only inedible but also potentially unsafe."

Google
The atmosphere sucks nobody greets you when you come in. No registers were open just screens to order. Tables were nasty and sticky trash on the floor cleanliness is not a priority at this location. Food came out burgers were ok fries were over seasoned with spice couldn't enjoy the shakes were watery I would not recommend this location i wouldn't come back if they gave the food away for free! First and definitely last time coming to this establishment did not enjoy

Google
Shake Shack at The Domain delivers exactly what you'd expect: fast, satisfying burgers . My absolute favorite vegetarian burger ever is here: the 'Shroom burger. All the burgers are overly flavorful and just a little greasy. Service is not overly fast (be prepared to wait an additional 5-10 minutes beyond your expected wait time). Prices are more in line with a diner than fast food but you can often snag a coupon or a deal through the app.

Google
The food here is good and a fair price but be very wary ordering delivery. I’ve ordered delivery here a few times over the last couple years and they never put sauce with the order. This time, they missed a burger ingredient that comes on the burger standard. They also forgot the truffle sauce with the TRUFFLE FRIES HELLO lol it’s laughable because it’s just ridiculous Thankfully their refund policy is good but this is such an easy fix. Check the bag before sealing PS the lemonade drink I got was really delicious

Google
Fun place to have a really good burger. The Smoke Shack made with Angus beef has smoked apple- wood bacon, cherry peppers, and shake sauce. Perfect combo of meaty with a zippy and tangy contrast. Crinkle cut fries are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. You can sit inside or outside on the roomy patio. Great for families, big groups or just yourself.

Google
I liked the chocolate shake, it was thick and creamy. We also had a veg burger, but I personally found it a little bland so I added some hot sauce and mayo for taste. I liked the automatic ordering machine. The service was quick, got our order in 5 minutes, and it reminded me of an old cafe I used to visit during my school days. 🥰

Yelp
It's a solid little Shake Shack. It is spacious and clean and pretty consistent the way Shake Shacks are. They have cute little games in their outside space and there's a spot to park your pup at the entrance if you happen to have your dog with you. You can get some treats at the register which is really cute. The servers are always friendly and they crank out orders as best they can. Even when it's busy you will not be waiting too long. The food is solid. Thick and creamy milkshakes and solid burgers. I sometimes crave them, but this place is far from me now. I used to come here a lot when I lived nearer the domain. Also Shake Shack will put out a seasonal shake that's available for a limited it and if it weren't for the fact that I'm trying not to go overboard on eating a ton of sugar, I'd be here more often.

Yelp
Stopped by Shake Shack in The Domain hoping to spice up my day--only to find the spicy fries were out. Again. Two nights in a row. At this point, I'm pretty sure "spicy fries" are just a myth passed down by early Austin settlers. Like the Lost City of Queso. I was ready to be salty--like the fries I didn't get--but then... the burger. It was surprisingly good. Juicy, flavorful, and oddly enhanced by a fried pickle shoved in the middle like a crunchy little curveball. I doubted it. Then I bit into it. Then I ordered a whole side of fried pickles. They're dangerously addictive--like, "I may need an intervention" addictive. But let's talk ambiance. I went two nights in a row, and both times, the restaurant looked like a post-concert food court. Greasy floors, trash under tables, and--my personal favorite--the exact same constellation of food bits and mystery stains camped out beneath one table both nights. It was like a science experiment on neglect. Honestly, it left such a greasy impression, I'm second-guessing ever visiting the Phoenix location. If The Domain's version is any clue, I'll bring skates and a Hazmat suit next time. Great pickles, but the cleanliness? Shaky at best.

Yelp
Meant I met a friend here for lunch. There is ample parking around the restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is great for a lovely day. If you are paying with a card you can use one of their kiosks so you don't have to wait in line to order. If you like black truffle, you will love the black truffle Burger. I couldn't really taste the sweet onions on the burger but all the black truffle flavor is exactly what I wanted. The black truffle Parmesan fries are also really good. The fries were fresh and had a little crunch and the black truffle is the same as they put on the burger. All in all this is a great burger place, especially if you want to hang out and not eat anywhere too pricey in the domain.

Yelp
There tends to be a line because everyone has to order through kiosks, but the workers are still so friendly when bringing the food out. And the food comes out pretty quickly. I got the shroom burger. And I was really happy with it! The mushroom part was pretty big and filling. And the outer layer was so crispy. It was like a big onion ring, except it was mushroom. The only thing annoying is that when you bite it, you can get through the crispiness so easily, but it's kind of hard to get a clean bite out of the mushroom, also like an onion ring. So there were times where I bit off the breading, but I couldn't bite off the mushroom. Or I would try to bite it and the mushroom would end up just pulling out of the breading. Kind of an annoying way to eat, but taste wise it was all good.

Yelp
The best complements wouldn't be enough. My stomach would chime in, but that boy is stuffed. Luis, thank you so much, my new friend! Was the first to greet me and last to say "thanks for coming" in the end! Also, I apologize for forgetting the name.. but the lady who took my order, "Shake Shack, Hall of Fame!" Burgers - smashed, fries - long gone... 2 local honey beers. It's all smiles and yawns. So thank yall so much, yall made my night :) Yall fed my soul and my dramatic appetite Mr. T and Scarlett Pumpernickel

Yelp
Overall decent experience, but a few things off put us - Great burgers, fries, and drinks - Sent out someone completely untrained, corporate training issue - Didn't give correct order, and gave our corrected order to the wrong person - Fully and truthfully, terrible music

Yelp
The burger I had was absolutely incredible! It was so fresh and flavorful, and the service was top-notch. The manager was incredibly attentive and made sure I had everything I needed.

Katrina H.

Yelp
Love their chicken sandwiches. Have a great crispy breading. Really want to try the spicy seasoning but it's been out of stock. Still haven't tried a burger because the chicken has my heart and taste buds.

Reece R.

Yelp
Food was good till I got pulled a hair out of my burger... service was subpar after nobody offered to take my order then after ordering in the kiosk was asked to tip. Guessing I'm supposed to tip myself for ordering my own food? Very dissatisfied with my experience as a first time customer.

Yelp
THE BIG: Located in the Domain, inside the parking lot of Macy's and across the lot from Punchbowl Social and Dick's Sporting Goods. Nice indoor and outdoor space with plenty of parking around. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I usually frequent Shake Shack once a month to see what new concoction they have made with their sandwiches. It ranges from a Korean fried chicken shack to Texas ribeye brisket shack. If none of these new menu items appeal to me, the classic shroom shack is my go-to. Love the fried mushroom with cheese inside and the option to forego the bun in favor of a lettuce wrap is a godsend. I would forego the seasoned fries as the extra dollar doesn't justify the sprinkling. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, I typically spend ~$14 for a burger and fries but of course it could vary depending on how hungry I get.

Yelp
Was so excited to enjoy a nice burger, beer and a shake. Sadly the dining room had no air conditioning and we waited 25 mins to get our food. When we finally got the food I went to get some ketchup for my fries and guess what...no ketchup!! Order that was delivered was wrong! Ate half my burger and left with the beer to drink on my walk home. Won't be going back! Bummed because I wanted a shake, but decided not to get one. $70 bucks wasted. Should have gone to Hat Creek!

Yelp
Want an old-school, quality burger? Go to Shake Shack! Had the Spicy Shackmeister (double) and wow was it good! Served piping hot, this burger has some great spice but the quality beef flavor still come through. One of the best burgers I've had in the last 5 years! And the bacon cheese fries are a decadent side dish. Service: order at the counter, staff gives you a number and brings order to your table Value: great value Overall cleanliness: excellent Bathroom cleanliness: above average Staff: nice staff Ambiance: modern, airy, industrial Austin vibe

Yelp
Shake Shack has always been one of my favorite burger chains and I am glad they have one in the Domain in Austin, TX. Every time I have been to this location the food is good, the service is quick, and the ambiance is nice since the location is fairly new and they keep it clean. The parking situation can be a little tough depending what time you go because it is shared with other establishments but usually it doesn't take long to find a spot. If you get an order to go or online order, it is usually ready before you get there (or before the estimated time of completion) which can be a good thing if you get there early but also not so good if you are there on time and it has already been sitting there for a while. I have to use the dining credits on my AMEX cards every month and usually I pick Shake Shack because it is a pretty inexpensive option that is consistently good and doesn't make me feel bad about eating it afterwards because it is healthier than most burger places. 8/10 would recommend.

Yelp
I went today around 420pm and all the employees where sit the table by front door doing nothing. They would not take my son's order said to use Kiosk. They barely got up to get my order which was cold. Horrible attitudes and service not going back. so annoying
google avatar

Andre C.

Yelp
Im here at least once a week. Burgers are fire! One of the most consistent places in the Domain. Only down side is it may take a little while. (10-15 ) mins after ordering. And there isnt any signal or wifi
google avatar

Yelp
Location: this is located in the Domain shopping area. It is in front of the Westin hotel and across parking lot of Dick's Sporting Goods. We walked here from the Westin. Ambience: this is a burger joint where you go to the counter to order your food. You can use the automated menu but we went up to talk to employee and place our order. A couple was fiddling with the automated machine when we arrived and they were still fiddling with it after we ordered. There is amble indoor seating that is spread a bit way so you can have privacy. There is outdoor seating as well. There are condiments on the side. If you want to watch your burger being made, you can. Fun for the kids. You place your order and it is delivered to you and they check on you. Not fancy. Burgers are delivered in white paper bag. Fries in a paper tray. Silverware all plastic. Food: Order the French fries with cheese and bacon. They were piping hot and the fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside. The cheese with bacon was delicious. Add some of the Yellowbird Serrano sauce and it takes it to the next level. I got the burger with sausage. This location only has this burger, so I had to give it a try. I love sausages. The burger was piping hot and the beef quality is a high quality patty. The combination of the burger and sausage was unique and very good. I added some Yellowbird Serrano sauce for some spice and I was loving this burger. I have not had a burger this great in years! Cleanliness: above average Bathrooms: above average

Yelp
Burgers are good. But last time we visited, the place was so filthy, it was a pig sty. Awful. The restrooms were disgusting. My wife and I tried them. Every table was dirty. The kitchen floor was disgusting. Will never go again. Too much of a health hazard.
google avatar

Rishi P.

Yelp
Nice outdoor seating and covered patio so it made me want to sit outside. I was going to just get burger and fries but with Amex gold and their dining credit I decided to get the bites. So full and the shake was the best part. Burger was fresh and tender with freshly diced onion tomatoes and avocados. Fries spicy seasoning had some zing and was good to have on the side. Ordering was all digital and easy for me but I did see some people leave and there was a long wait. Not sure if ordering at register was closed but didn't see anyone there. With dining credit I may go back a few times a year.
google avatar

Gretchen M.

Yelp
The burger tasted good enough but they're not putting much lettuce, you barely even see it on the picture that it's there. Also, the tomato is thin sliced. So as the patty on the cheeseburger is thin. Inflation is real. However, I like their tea and lemonade drinks.
google avatar

Naomi S.

Yelp
Man. This burger is different. So damn good. And the cheese fries! The cheeeeeese friessss are the way to go. Customer service is great. The dining area is clean. If you haven't tried Shake Shack, you must!
google avatar

Rosmond P.

Yelp
Man hold up! It was great!! The food was on point and delicious. Service was quick and courteous. Let me tell that the fries are the best. I mean they are so crisppity and crunchy!!
google avatar

Pierre K.

Yelp
What a disappointment that was. Starting with the parking lot full of THEIR trash everywhere. We walk in and the attendant refuses to take our order unless we paid cash, otherwise we have to do their job and use the point of sale / kiosk. The place was so filthy. The kitchen floor was a pig's trough. Disgusting. The bathroom was even worse. The burger was OK. The cheese fries were lumpy and sat under a heat lamp or reheated. All the tables were dirty. We had to clean our own, including the chairs. Wow. This place used to be outstanding, but I will skip it going forward. A health hazard.
google avatar

Thomas K.

Yelp
The Black Truffle burger looks nothing like the picture. Picture big and juicy, real life smashed and mushy. Fries are just fries nothing special. The Dr Pepper was flat but changing to Coke Seemed to fix the issue. The restaurant was busy but self serve register is easy to use. The greeter, Sergio, was helpful and energetic. I was expecting more burger goodness for the money and reputation.

Brynne B.

Yelp
my brother went in to order and first of all staff were totally rude and disrespectfu!!!! Service was awful, my brother sat and waited inside for over an hour, and staff said he still had another 50 minutes when they were closing in 20 minutes!!! Absolutely don't recommend if you need to be home by a certain time! If you have all day this place might be for you.
google avatar

Jose T.

Yelp
Can't get order right for a double. When I let the manager know I received singles he rudely responded "so do you want another patty?". Staff then awkwardly dropped off the patties at the table. Anyways, the picture shows how the doubles turned out. Most places would have remade the order. Very poor customer service. I will not be returning to Shake Shack.

Chase S.

Yelp
If I could give no stars I would. I spent over 20$ for this meal just to get home take 2 bites and see it's not even cooked. I really didn't have an option to go back because they would've been closed by the time I would have made it there. I just want a refund cause all that I was able to eat were the cheese fries.
google avatar

Marisa P.

Yelp
Came here solely to review the chicken bites! While these might not be new to the Shake Shack menu, they were new to me. And they were delicious! Ordered the 6 piece to eat on the side and they ended up being the highlight of the meal! The white truffle burger was just okay. I think the truffle flavor would have been stronger with just one patty instead of two. Fries are also just okay. The cookies and cream mini shake was so good and had tons of oreos! But it was still the chicken for me. Delivered straight to my door, rescued me from this hangover! And still snacking on these bites in bed as we speak. Thank you, chicken bites!!
google avatar

Yelp
As a chain, I love shake shack. As a location, this one is hit or miss for sure. This last visit was absolutely delicious with the perfect smash burger and fresh French fries. Other times the fries were clearly not fresh or the burger wasn't assembled with care. Their shack sauce is always delicious though. There aren't any better smash burger places in this part of town that I'm aware of, so I keep going back.

Joseph L.

Yelp
i ordered Black Truffle Burger and they gave me like photo i asked the somebody who seems like manger if they made it correctly showing my burger, he said they made it correct
google avatar

Deborah L.

Yelp
I ordered a shack burger and crinkle cut fries online. Ordering was easy and they had my order ready in minutes. The burger is delicious from top to bottom. The meat has bits of crunch on the outside, but not burnt, and the bread was so good. the lettuce and tomato tasted fresh. The sauce and cheese were the perfect ingredients that puts it all together. My only gripe is that I wish this burger were bigger; not in height, where you have the option to add another patty, but rather in width. The fries have always been my favorite of every fast food burger chain. Golden and the perfect crunch level! Ketchup was already packed in a plastic container, which I appreciate since, I never enjoy opening multiple tiny sauce packets.
google avatar

Loni M.

Yelp
Shake Shack never disappoints! The food, especially at this location is always made fresh and is just so darn good! This place is honestly my guilty pleasure especially since it's pricier than most fast food. Their burgers are pretty good and I like that they add new, creative things to the menu from to time even with their milkshakes. If you don't order online though then be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes. They are slow considering they make everything fresh. If you've never had Shake Shack then you have to try them out and if you're ever in Austin then this location is the best with the customer service and food!
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
Pretty delicious. It's a burger joint so there really ain't too much to say but the place was efficient, quick, and I'll be back for more...
google avatar

Mariana G.

Yelp
I ordered the avocado bacon burger (double), the chicken bites, and the cookies and cream milkshake on UberEats. The avocado bacon burger was amazing - Angus beef cheeseburger topped with sliced avocado, applewood-smoked bacon, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun. They are generous with the avocado slices. I also really enjoyed the cookies and cream milkshake. By the time it got to my apartment it was quite melted, so I stored it in my freezer overnight and loved the soft ice cream consistency it had the next day. The chicken bites were the only let-down. The meat was covered in a very thick breaded layer with a strong flavor which I didn't like. They also reheated quite poorly, with the breaded layer breaking apart when I picked them up. The next time I'm craving chicken nuggets, I'll go to McDonalds. But for a burger and a shake, I wouldn't hesitate to order from Shake Shack again.
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
Food: i went to try the new chicken sandwich. DON'T! It's not worth $7.99. Service: POOR. There were only 4 people working. I saw no evidence of a manager on duty. I had to wait over 25 minutes for my order. For a fast food chain this is unacceptable. The restaurant overall cleanliness was unsatisfactory. The tables were dirty, the floor was dirty the condiment area was dirty and I didn't even want to know what the restrooms looked like. For a national food chain I expected better. I paid over $16 for my chicken sandwich, fries (which were not hot, just warm) and a small drink. For that price I would have rather spent my money at Chick-Fil-A and have much better experience and better quality food. Needless to say I will not be visiting Shake Shake ever again.
google avatar

Tayo F.

Yelp
When it comes to franchise locations I don't usually have a high bar because I already know what I'm getting: I'm not expecting a 9 corse meal or a french chef cooking my food but I do expect the burger to be flavorful, the shakes to be eye rolling. This location has met my standards
google avatar

Francine H.

Yelp
Round Rock's Shake Shack is a fun place to grab a burger and one of their famous shakes! The food is hot and delicious and the wait staff are very accommodating to your special orders. I highly recommend a visit.

Joy S.

Yelp
Yum! Yum! Yum! My favorite place for a burger and cheese fries! Food is always great and burger tastes homemade to be fast food

Yelp
After years of only providing the 'Shroom Burger as their sole vegetarian (and not vegan) option, Shake Shack finally released their Veggie Shack, which can be made vegan by subbing your buns to gluten-free buns! So that's exactly what I got (and fries, of course), and my husband ordered the Shack Stack with Cheese Fries. As a first-timer at Shake Shack, my husband did not realize that they had accidentally served him the wrong burger (ShackBurger) until the employees corrected themselves and got him the right one soon after. Unintentionally having tried two burgers, my husband liked how both beef patties had a pleasant smokey aroma, and the ShackBurger, in particular, paired well with the cheese. But his favorite was the Shack Stack, which he found to be superior to even the other burgers from different big joints he's tried. As for me, I enjoyed my Veggie Shack as well--the patty wasn't like the Impossible or Beyond Burger patties that you can fool non-vegans with. Instead, it was clearly a veggie patty with visible bits of carrots, whole edamames, and other greens. But even as a junk vegan, I think that their veggie patty was good because the real vegetables gave a nice bite to the burger. The fries were also delicious from being served hot and fresh, even if we may not be the biggest fans of crinkle cut fries. Unfortunately, I didn't get any shakes or frozen custard as I was told that none of them could be made vegan, but I look forward to visiting again the next time my husband's burger cravings hit!

Lizzy S.

Yelp
I have a milk allergy and Shake Shack went above and beyond to ensure what I was eating was safe. The staff was knowledgeable and trained on how to handle an allergy, which is incredible! I had a veggie burger, fries, and a non-dairy milkshake. 10/10 would go back.

Yelp
After my last review I was given a gift card to give them another chance. My only complaint had been the prices but they explained the higher quality ingredients, so I was prepared to increase my stars. Instead I was VERY disappointed with this experience. If it was my only experience I'd be giving a 1 or 2 star review. To use the gift card I needed to download their app and order from it. The cell service (at least with AT&T) was awful there so I had to walk to Macy's to use their guest WiFi. The app projected a 11-16 minute wait which was fine, we were in a hurry but we'd have enough time to eat our food quickly. We went inside and sat while we waited. After about 12 minutes we got a text that the food was ready and to pick it up. I walked up and showed an employee my phone and said I was picking it up. He asked my name and said they'd bring it to me. We waited 10 minutes after this and never received our food. Finally I went back up and ignored the employee and sure enough our food was sitting in a bag that had been there. At this point we needed to leave, so I had to drive without eating anything. My girlfriend fed me some fries but they were cold and weren't salty, nor crisp. My girlfriend didn't eat all of her chicken because it had a weird taste and my sandwich was cold before I had a chance to eat it. This was very disappointing.
google avatar

Raynesa J.

Yelp
Overpriced. Like unnecessary overpriced. Food is mediocre at best. Fries seem like frozen crinkle cut style. Service was cold and non welcoming. This is a one and done place for us.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
I used to be a big fan of this location, especially as a reliable spot for a decent meal before an event at Q2 Stadium. Unfortunately, a move to ordering kiosks combined with some management issues has severely impacted this restaurant. Our last visit was a disaster; a 30+ minute fruitless wait for our food capped off by a refund because we were going to miss our event. We witnessed a restaurant full of anxious and disappointed customers, some of whom also got refunds. This location is a disorganized mess, and I strongly advise steering way clear during anything close to peak dining hours.
google avatar

Yelp
Good option for some quick food up at the Domain. I went on a gorgeous day and thankfully they have a really nice outdoor deck and seating area. Be sure to get a spot outside if the weather is good! The service was quick and my white truffle shroom burger was delicious. I loooove that crispiness. And of course I had to order some crinkle cut fries! I just wish I would've remembered to tell them not to salt them because they do come pretty salty. I very much appreciate how they have vegetarian options, because there are still some places like this that do not have any. My only real complaint is the price for technically a fast food joint. My sandwich, which I would definitely not describe as huge, cost almost $10.
google avatar

Shayer S.

Yelp
From all the fast food burger chains, Shack burger ranks the highest in terms of taste! I love the 100% all-natural Angus beef patty which is cooked to perfection that just melts in your mouth with each bite yet the edges are slightly burnt to give it that crunchy texture! Cheese is nicely melted on the patty followed by fresh tomatoes and lettuce with Shack sauce on the buttered potato bun which holds it all together! My mouth waters just thinking about it. If burgers and taste was the only criteria, I have no hesitation to recommend Shake Shack. But then there's the pricing...for the size, this is straight up robbery! Two small single patty burgers and fries cost 15 dollars! And I'm still left hungry! Bring a date, you are now looking at $30 before shakes. You can get a burger twice the size at Five Guys with similar pricing and nothing beats the value to taste ratio of In-N-Out! Do not care too much for their fries or the hotdog (also overpriced). I also personally like the shakes at In-N-Out & Chick-fil-a much better. They have introduced chicken bites but they are nothing special. I like the seasoning on the breast chicken for the Chick'n shack but the sandwich as a whole is uninspiring. This particular Shake Shack has a covered patio and some outdoor games so that's really nice. For me, the pricing, size of burgers, and overall value just doesn't match the competition despite the burgers being tasty. But still, we do come back every once in a while to get our shack fix!
google avatar

LaPeshaa C.

Yelp
Call me crazy but this was one of the best cheeseburgers I ever had! The bun is soft but holds up to the perfectly seasoned juicy burger patty. The veggies are FRESH! Y'all got a garden back there or something? The Shack sauce really made it go BOOM! I can't wait to get back for more. Oh and the shake was just ok, nothing to write home about. Next time I'll skip it.
google avatar

M L.

Yelp
The burgers are just fine, but what sets this location above the crowd is their staff and management! Really enjoyed our visits there!
google avatar

Dixon S.

Yelp
The audacity to ask for a tip at a self serve kiosk when there is no one manning the registers at all is astounding.

Yelp
Shake Shack is a little more of a pricier burger option but it's definitely worth it. I got the Shack Stack ($11) which was pretty much a single burger stuffed with a gooey cheese filled fried mushroom. It was so delicious... I loved it. The fries were crispy and very tasty as well. My daughter got a single burger which she thought was a little small for the price point but she throughly enjoyed her shake. Definitely recommend to give it a try.
