Person taking our order was just kind of there. Not very friendly or helpful too much with menu questions. The lobby was clean and being cleaned as soon as diners departed. Food came out so slow. No real rush to any employees working. Single burgers are small. Meat was crisp, bun was soft. Shake was creamy. Cheese sauce on fries weird. Fries basic and bland. Maybe cooked in sunflower oil like SS, kind tasted as if, I don’t like that taste. Food not worth the high price when there is Whataburger here in Texas. Took a star for this. Not something I’d eat again, but especially after the way it swelled up and bloated both my husband and myself and made us feel awful all day, even gave me a headache. I wonder if they use MSG, because that’s how I feel after eating MSG. Took a star for this. Was asked to do the survey in store, did so and was surprised at the last question, ‘Do you feel our food is worth the higher price?’ Almost as if they know they’re too high but trying to justify it? $40 for two people to eat fast food is kind of nuts.

As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by employe Kash, she was very friendly and helpful. We had placed an online order, she asked for the name and then said she would bring it out as soon as it was ready. After we got our food she checked back to see if we needed anything. You just don’t get that kind of service anymore. Thank you Shake Shack for having great employees. The food is amazingly fresh and good. Would definitely recommend

I would definitely go back! You have to order from a computer screen. No problem, but it's filled with so many finger prints that you could swirl the screen. 🤮 Maybe they should have some type of wipes, or even sanitizer there. We touch the screen then eat with our fingers... The avocado bacon burger was good but really nothing to right about home about. Their menu says some kind of shack sauce but there was no kind of sauce on my burger. The smokehouse Burger is where to go! There are chopped red things. I don't even know what it is but it's spicy and it just makes a perfect combination with this burger. I definitely recommend this one The crinkle fries are very good. They don't get soggy as they sit there and that's a plus! Right now there's enough parking but it is a small parking lot. I can see the parking lot being overwhelmed and full very quickly during the day. Overall the place is clean. The staff seems to be somewhat nice and the food was pretty good. I would go back but I'm going to have the smokehouse Burger!

This is a brand new location. The inside was very clean and spacious, there was plenty of window seating. The staff here were all very nice and helpful. They made sure to keep the place clean and made sure we were taken care of. The food was very delicious. My buddy and I enjoyed our burgers and fries, although I was expecting the fries to be a little better for the price I paid. Still tasty though. Rating 9.0/10

The best tasting burger, ever! Go ahead and order the double, you want that extra patty of amazing flavor in your burger!! They are always quick and the food is always hot. It is worth every penny!

I had a very disappointing experience here with my family. We waited 30 minutes for a dine-in order that never arrived. When I approached the register to ask for an update, the staff seemed confused and could not locate my ticket. I eventually found out that my shakes had been made and left sitting in a cooler, while the kitchen had not even started cooking our actual food yet. The place was disorganized and the team seemed to lack the necessary training to handle orders correctly.

Extremely expensive for what you get. We got 3 burgers all single patty size of kids burger, one six piece chicken nuggets can’t call them chicken fingers cause they were small, 4 Fries, Two small drinks, one large drink, and one small milkshake And it totaled $70!!!! And then it didn’t even taste very good- not one part of it. I would rather eat at one of the regular fast food Burger chains. They taste much better. Not sure how this place will stay in business.

To go order. Got home & meat pink inside so not edible. Looks like it was made so fast no care to ingredients being put in burger. So disappointed.

My husband and I tried this location today. We ordered the double avocado bacon burger and shared a side of onion rings which came out to 3 onion rings a piece. We also ordered 2 small lemonade drinks. The total cost for this order was $42. The food was decent but very overpriced.

I went out of my way to get some Shake Shack, but it was soooo good! I ordered online and drove straight there to be greeted in. Music was playing and tv screens were on if you just wanted to watch a little tv while you munched. At first, I was going to just take my burgers and fries home for a ride, but I wanted to compare the quality of this location to Rice Village, so I stayed and dined in. As I went to an empty and clean table, everything I ordered was right in the box. Neatly packaged too. I could smell the fries and I devoured them first for the most part because cold fries are just not whats up! I appreciate that they did not salt the fries per request and you get to experience the crunchy outside and pillowly inside of these crinkle cut fries. They are definetrly fresh! I actually found that I enjoyed the Shake Sauce with the fries versus the burger, but it didn't need it. As for the burger- delicious! Quality bun and patty. Ingredients were fresh. With my glass of water, this meal made me full for the rest of the day! This location is just really warm and inviting too, so if you're not in a rush, I would suggest dining in. If you're looking for a great quality burger, this is a place to shake your tailfeather to endulge in a delicious and satisfying meal.

I really like the deal Shake Shack has for national burger month from May to June 1st where you get a free burger (it's a different burger every week of May) if you spend $10+. We got the new Carolina BBQ burger with fried pickles and spicy fries with ranch and got the smokeshack burger for free. The spice they put on the fries isn't usually spicy for me, but this time it had a nice kick to it, which I appreciated. The pickles on the Carolina burger were soooo good, and the burger patties were cooked perfectly and were super juicy. The service was really fast, and our waitress even brought me the earth mayo, which I really like. I also like the outdoor seating at this location, especially when there's nice weather.

I've never been to Shake Shack before today. First of all, I'd like to say this restaurant is an EXACT model of what happens when everyone screams for $15 minimum wage...you get to place your order at a kiosk and there are actually very few employees in the store. They have figured out that if Wal-Mart and other businesses can have self-check out and eliminate overhead, why not a restaurant? But, I digress. Let's stick to the food. As mentioned above, this was our first time in. Walk in, read the menu, and place your order at a kiosk. I ordered the Double Avocado Bacon Burger with some additional toppings. The wife ordered the Single Truffle Burger. Mine was prepared correctly and was good. My wife's, on the other hand, was better than mine. I've never had a truffles burger before but if and when we go back, I'll definitely order the Truffle Burger. Excellent taste. The crinkle fries were also good. We also ordered one tea and one specialty lemonade. I say all that to say two burgers, two drinks, and one fry cost $38.00. I know everything is getting more expensive nowadays, but dang, that seems like a lot of money for two burgers for lunch. Especially a three-star lunch. Shout out to my friend, and fellow YES friend, Huy N who we randomly saw at SS today. Bottom line - The Truffle Burger had a great taste. The other was average. Seems a little on the expensive side for slightly better than average burgers. Will I return? Yes, but it won't be on the weekly. Probably not on the monthly. But, until then, Bon appétit, y'all.

I enjoy coming to this Shake Shack, especially if you can use some kind of deal it is well worth it. The burger there taste really good, and as someone who doesnt like crinkle cut fries, Shake Shack does a really good job making them taste amazing. One more thing is the shakes are also just as amazing as everything else on the menu. Only downside I will say is the price but the quality of food is up there.

After 20 minutes with no drink to at sip while I waited, I noticed everyone that came in after me had been served. I asked about my order and they didn't know why it hadn't been processed. Ordered by a kiosk and given a number. No human contact and kiosk asked for a tip...burger finally came out and to my surprise, it was basically an oversized slider. Flavor was good but hardly worth the price. First and last time here

Why is this place so way over priced for a burger that is a 5 out of 10? Oh lord. There are so many other places that will put your burger to shame at a cheaper price. I can't justify ever and I mean ever giving you my business again. It's a shame that you charge the prices that you do. When you wake up and lower your prices you just might grow your business

Woah.. what's with the one star reviews? We've eaten lunch here twice. Never have had an issue with anything. Yes this place is self serve but it's such an easy process I truly don't understand how anyone could have a hard time navigating it. (It's literally pictures of the food and you pay lol) Staff here is so friendly !! They're consistently asking customers if they are good/ satisfied and are happy to accommodate to the customers request. We haven't gone through the drive through yet but inside has always been fast. Food is pretty good, fresh, consistent, reliable, and flavorful. We typically order the classic and the bacon cheeseburger. Items are a la carte but that's pretty typical nowadays. Fries are okay, bacon cheese fries are pretty tasty, and water on tap is available. Minus 1 star for the price. Burgers aren't big enough to be $8 alone.

Was in the mood for a veggie burger and refreshing drink on a hot day when I saw there was a shake shack near by. I ordered the veggie shack and the mango passionade (mango and passion fruit infused lemonade). The veggie burger was so good. I appreciate that the patty consists of real veggies instead of fake meat substitutes. On first glance, it looked like the patty would have been mushy but it wasn't at all. The lemonade was also delicious. I will definitely be back soon. This may be my new favorite place to get a veggie burger.

Went for the first time and for some reason their card readers weren't taking my card. I ordered one shake, had no other way to pay. Ended up going inside to pay for it with apple pay, I honestly don't understand why she couldn't have taken it in the drive through. So I asked the manager and she said yes they could? This whole thing took 30 mins for me to get one drink. I got the cherry blossom shake it was alright. Not worth the 30 min wait though

absolutely delicious, came in after work with family and friends, got burgers, chicken, shakes and drinks, their refreshers are absolutely amazing, the mango drink was my favorite. the burgers are to die for, just so yummy, so filling. service was quick and quiet

I placed an online order for pickup. The store is fairly now so everything was clean and new. There was several employees in the front and k was greeted immediately. My order was not ready but I only had to wait a few minutes. Burger was great but the fries were cooked to perfection. I love crispy fries and this was exactly that. I got the Koran seasoning which wasn't too strong but the dip that came on the side made up for it.

Alright, 7 days into the new year. Here goes my first review of 2024! I love Shake Shack and was thrilled to see they finally built one near me. I tried it out yesterday and it was a pretty mediocre experience. First off, both of the drive thru lanes were insanely long and moving slowly. I decided to get out of the line to park and place a mobile order (it looked a little crazy inside too). My estimated pickup time arrived and I got out of my car and went in. I was right. It was a bit chaotic inside. People were waiting around for their orders and others awkwardly asking "have you ordered" ? Seemingly never having been to a Shake Shack before since you self-order at any available kiosk. There were a few dissatisfied customers. I noticed one woman asking for her money back. A few others complaining about how long it was taking or missing items. The staff did seem to be running behind. I had placed my order through the mobile app and was relieved when they brought it out only 7 minutes late. Seeing the slight bit of chaos going on around me I figured 7 minutes wasn't so bad. My food was fresh and looked great but it wasn't until I got home that I'd realized they'd forgotten my side of Shack sauce. No big deal. My food was good but I feel like it's been a little better at other locations. Next time I may dine in so I can truly judge the full experience and get a better gauge of things. All in all I'll definitely return and I'm happy to have a Shake Shack on this side of the city.

after awhile, lettuce wraps on burgers gets old and starts feeling more like a salad than a burger. shake shack is one of the few places in the area that offers udi's gluten free buns in a fast food setting. starting off the year right with a double cheese burger, the way god intended, with a bun. the burger came out extremely hot which is appreciated . it was juicy and flavorful, and i forgot for a moment it was a gluten free bun. next time ill add pickles. fries are not in a dedicated gluten free fryer. fyi you order from a screen here when you dine in.

I really enjoy their iced custard, the best around here that I know of but the issue is the size of the cups they use to put it in. These things are minute. Come on Shake Shack, We are patiently eating

This place is a solid 3 stars. OK at best. Hamburger was a bit insipid and small. The crinkle cut fries are good but stay away from the cheese fries. The self-ordering system is a bit cumbersome and annoying. The bathrooms and the place did look clean and there is ample seating. The price tag was about $12/person. I recommend you go to Five Guys instead!

The burger was good, but nothing really spectacular (which for the price, I think it should have been). The fries were a nice cut and plenty for the price, but I usually like mine at least warm. These weren't ice cold, but no heat could be felt at all. However, the order came out quickly and was accurate.

My wife wanted to try the new burger joint in the Bay Area. Store was well kept, staff were friendly and they had plenty of kiosks for you to place your order. Burgers were a bit pricey and in my opinion the taste was okay. We also ordered chicken bites for the little one and when it came out they shorted us one but the waitress was very nice and quick to replace it for us. Overall it was okay, wanted to show our support.

Asked for a lettuce wrapped burger and was told they didn't offer that option. When I later checked the online menu it was a clear option. I skipped the burger and just ordered. a Double burger for my husband. Got home to find the order was wrong. There was no one else in the drive thru and the dining room was practically empty. Not sure why they couldn't get his simple order right.

I'm the biggest Shake Shack fan ever and was beyond excited to hear they opened one in Baybrook. Since it is relatively, the place was packed and it was hard to find a table. However, ordering is super fast and efficient due to self check out. The staff are nice, they're clean, and was surprised to see the low rating they had. My go-to favorite is the 'Shroom Burger. The fried mushroom was super crispy and the cheese just melted out. The fries were crispy and not too salty. Will forever always be my favorite fast food chain!

Here for the Friends + Family Event! Thank you, Shake Shack for the invite. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted. Someone takes your order on the left counter close to the kitchen or you can place the order yourselves from the other counter. Then have a seat and someone will bring your order to the table fairly quick! The last Shake Shack I visited was in Vegas and remember the Shack burger bigger than what I'm having now lol! But it was still tasteful nonetheless. The star of the show was my cookies n cream shake- it was soooo good!! Was gonna try the shroom burger and the Texas exclusive Lockhart link burger but I got full quick so I'm going back soon :)

Finally a Shake Shack in the Space City. Very conveniently located. The staff is friendly and restaurant is clean. Line is still very long since they just opened recently, but it moves fast with the addition of self-service kiosks. The burgers were delicious. Crispy, fresh french fries and thick and creamy shakes. Will definitely be back.

First time trying it in Texas but I was still hopeful that the last time trying them in NY was just a bad fluke. Unfortunately, this visit didn't change my opinion. Walking in, people were confused as to where to order. The employee said if you're paying with a card, you can order at the kiosk. We put our order in and went to get cups for water. The water dispenser was room temp - no fountain machine - so, no ice anywhere. When the food came out, fries were good but almost cold. My chicken sandwich seemed double fried. At least the lemonade was good. There was a woman who came by and asked about our experience. She was super friendly and took our trays. Sadly, I won't be going back.

Lousy/slow service! They shouldn't have a drive-thru if they can't handle it. I'd rather go to the location in Montrose/Minute Maid. Was stuck almost 20 mins waiting for a shake. They need to take logistics notes from Starbucks/CFA. And they didn't provide me a receipt smh

Me and my baby girl went to try today . I ordered the avocado burger which was good but no wow factor. My daughter did not like her burger at all. She would rather go to in n out burger.She said her burger was soggy. I didn't like the portion size for the fries.Seven dollars for Korean fries were kids menu portion.

UPDATE: 5/6/2024: NOTHING FROM THEM AT ALL! This is just crazy. UPDATE- 4/30/2024: OK, the 24 hour period has come and gone, and we have not heard back from the restaurant manager after we left a voicemail for them to call us back regarding our order. We are completely dissatisfied with the food, and the service. Honestly, if this is a franchise, I would definitely get corporate involved as they are a new store in our area. They should just charge more for the food if they are going to sell you a burger, one time totally dissatisfied, definitely not going back Y'all. Never again. Burgers are meh, at best. We actually ordered through door dash and this place was a fail. We ordered 4 burgers and 4 fries (fries are crinkle cut and expensive). Some of the burgers did not have lettuce and tomato (they were supposed to have it) and the one that did have it had a single piece of lettuce and it was bad. We added bacon on one of the burgers and we didn't get bacon. One burgers had avocado added to it, they even gave us a piece of avocado peel, no change for that, thankfully! So, we do the logical thing to do, call them. Yeah - good luck. No answer and you have to leave a message for the manager and ask them to call you back in 24 hours. So they say 24 hours. Let's see what happens. Update to come! In the meantime - there are too many other better choices to go there again....it's a "no thank you" for us.

Shake Shack is always good and this location is no different. You do need to order at a kiosk, but wasn't an issue for us. Service was quick too

I'm not sure if the bad reviews were from when it first opened or what. But this place is fantastic. The food was really good. It's not your typical fast food price but it's also not your typical fast food and service. Burgers taste like you just got smashed burger off your grill in the backyard unlike In-N-Out that taste like it came out of a vending machine. Tyler and the other staff were way more helpful and friendly than your typical fast food place and made the experience really great. First time eating in the restaurant as well and was shocked at how clean it was. I'm not just gonna come here when I want fast food but come here when i want a good burger!

Delicious. A bit on the expensive side for a plain burger but just...SO WORTH IT!!! I am coming back again and again. The burgers are $7 by the way.

This place is so hit or miss. The foods always good but the service is lack luster. Why ask(expect) a tip when the customer who just dropped 20 bucks on fries a burger and drink ask for a napkin you point and mumble "they're over there". One time I ordered food and waited about 30 mins before asking where my order was then the manager I'm assuming, demanded a receipt knowing there aren't any given at the self check out that we must use. I'll come back solely for the food but the staff needs some help. It's so frustrating. Like I completely understand this might not be a dream job but take it seriously. You'll never get ahead in life.

I would havw given zero stars, but it wouldn't allow me. We ordered food, it was brought out, we are and didn't get our drinks. After asking multiple times for the drinks the iced tea came out, but not the shakes. After asking again and then getting a manager, he finally brought them out. He gave us nothing for our inconvenience and acted like he didn't care. Don't eat here! Service is horrible!!

Food was good but expensive. Service is self order and they will text you when the food is done. Hand spun custards are really good.

Place clean. Hamburger meat was Ok but too small for the price. HATE the self-check nonsense. For the price they can hire someone to take and process orders. Then they would not put Mayo on the burger and pointed me to packets at the supply stand. The food was slow coming out and it came in tiny paper wrappers on one tray with no plates. Is it too much to ask to have a wrapper you can lay the food on?? I literally had to hold my burger the whole time or lay it on the table. The bun on the burger was so soggy that it was coming apart. The fries were stodgy and flavorless. Two sandwiches with two drinks and one order of fries was over 40.00 with tip. And who the hell am I tipping anyway? For the price I can go be waited on and get a much better meal on real plate. I will never be back.

I have eaten at Shake Shack at least 3 times and always order the same thing, the shroom burger and bean burger without the bun for both. I really like them a lot. Always hot and ready to go. Don't like the self serve aspect ( and the tip request) not if I have to do it myself and tipping for doing your job; no thanks! Disappointed in not having the ice cream but I survived, just barely! Nice and clean but confusing for a newbie! 4 stars based on just the food

Went on a Thursday at 11:15am. Choose dine in vs. drive thru. Wasn't too busy as I wanted to come once the hype died down from being a new burger spot. There were probably 2 other groups inside. We had one of the staff members welcome us in and describe the menu in detail and then directed us to next staff member to place our order. Menu consisted of burgers, veggie burgers, chicken, shakes, and drinks. We order mushroom burger and custom cheeseburger, strawberry shakes, and fries. Food was fantastic! Definitely above most fast food burger joints. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Terribly small burgers that are just regular burgers for a very expensive price. You're better off going to the Burger Joint across the way. At least you get a nice sized burger for what you pay for.

Ssssslllloooowwww service. Nearly 10 minutes through drive through for a $6 chocolate shake. No doubt the shake was good -- however I think Baskin Robbin's offers a better value. I'm glad to see vege burger options on their menu. We had never been to a Shake Shack before, if we ever go back we will try one...

There is no meal all items are order separate. Burger was very small (think kids size), meat was filled with gristle pieces, flat bread and wilted vegetables. Will not be returning.

Good taste, small portion and pretty pricey. Everything is made fresh, so as long as you know you'll shell out extra money, then you'll be happy.

Burgers are great, the only thing that I don't like is the service. People there seem to either have a really bad attitude or don't know what they're doing. The last time I went there I got cold fries and asked for a new basket. The lady put the same fries back into the fryer making them even less edible than they were to begin with. Another time it took over 5 min to make a drive thru order because the person didn't know how to work the register and kept asking for my order over and over again. If they can improve the service I'd easily give it 5 stars.

First time trying SS, went on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't busy so service was good. The burger was honestly 10/10! I honestly can't wait to eat this again!

You don't know how frustrating it is coming here 3 times and all 3 times they are out of a menu item. Like how are you out of Korean fries?? It's literally seasoning. Buy 10 gallons of Korean seasoning and never run out. This is restaurant management 101 On the positive side the food tastes good, what they actually have.

The balls of these companies never cease to amaze me. You are immediately pushed to the kiosk to make your order. After you figure how to place your order and go to put a credit card into the machine; the kiosk directs you to give a tip. They don't do anything. I wonder if they want me to tip them to eat it too or maybe tip them after I take a crap at home. Now for the food. Hamburger was good. Fries with cheese were good also. Had a peach shake that was "meh". I paid for 3 people and it was 62 dollars. I could have cooked for 15-20 at home for 62. No wonder the place was not very crowded at lunch time on Saturday.

Wayyyyyyyyyyy over priced unspecial food 12.09 for an average fried chicken sandwich smaller than some fast food options. Crinkle cut fries are always good but not a small container for 5$. This is a definite pass. Restaurant inside was small. Service was fine I had Uber eats my order for pickup short wait. I think this is just a mid chain not the fault of employees or proprietor. I suggest burger joint over this

Burgers are too small, the potato bun is soggy & the salad in the burger seems a day old. Fries tasted like they were reheated from frozen & the cheese was artificial ... and the Price! Wow... not a deal if you ask me. $16 a meal these days ... never eating here again.
