Shake Shack Blakeney

The Shake Shack at Blakeney is very clean, and the casher was ready to take orders if the kiosk was full with people waiting to order. The burger 🍔 was dry, so smoothed it with ketchup. But the crinkle fries 🍟 were amazing! If you go there, leave the burger for another day and order the fries with a shake.

Two different visits…both were great experiences! Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger and the other pic was regular Cheeseburger and a Double Bacon Cheeseburger. Shake Shack for the win!

Overall the food is good, but a little pricy. The staff are nice and helpful. It is sometimes a little dirty, it is hard to find a clean table to eat at.

Strawberry shake was just what I wanted, smooth and drinkable through a straw. The chicken sandwich water crispy and tender. The crinkle cut fries are perfect. But, there is nothing that resembles service. You order from a kiosk, take a number and someone brings it to your table. You pour your own drink, gather napkins and condiments and clear your own table. The three items we got cost over $22 without tip. The overall experience is definitely not worth the cost.

Everything has so much flavor! Good flavor, too, not like unnecessary amount of Seasoning to cover up the taste. It's flavored in a way that enhances the natural flavor. It's so fresh!! Even the Mayonnaise is so good. The service is great, too. Steven was friendly and checked in on us and the cashier was kind and welcoming, as well.

They were very nice and accommodating. The manager was very pleasant and honored my nurses week (free milkshake with purchase) with ease. He even brought out food to us and got us a to go bag when we left. I am really appreciative of small gestures like this, especially when eating out with a toddler alone.

First of all, I enjoyed my meal. I ordered Korean BBQ Burger & Fries. Also, Cheese Burger. But as soon as I saw the menu board, I noticed the word 'UMAMI'. It is Japanese....NOT Korean.. Please DO NOT put together with Korean with Japanese..😮‍💨

I usually love this place but I got the new burger with these sweet pickles, onion rings and BBQ sauce and it made me nauseous. I was sickly sweet for me. So I will go back but I will never get that burger again. I will stick with the smoke shack.

I was craving a burger and stopped in the Ballantyne location for a shack burger to go. I added pickles because theirs are some of best I have had, crisp and fresh. The burger was perfectly cooked and crispy on the ends. The tomatoes and lettuce were fresh. I would definitely come back.

This is a busy location. They are pretty organized. The prices are steep for basic burger and fries. Wait is about 10-15 minutes for food. I love the seasonal milkshakes. They are so popular they run out of certain food items at times. The place is clean. Staff are nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Hope you enjoy.

Extremely tasty burgers that are ready quickly. Fries are abundant and equally tasty. Restaurant itself is clean. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Love their veggie burger for flavor and yummy food! I also appreciate they have nondairy shakes now. I had the nondairy chocolate shake with sprinkles for pflag support!! Yay! We shared crinkle fries that are delicious! Also they're so friendly even when they're busy. We had kids with us and had to wait but they have awesome coloring sheets and crayons!

I never ate here before. I confused it with another place I went with sort of a similar name. I was happily surprised when I took that first bite. The service was good since the young man came over and was very courteous. The ambiance was nice and clean. I will definitely come back for some more.

Chaos sums up what I felt my experience has been when visiting Shake Shack. When placing my order the main thing I noticed was how tightly designed the kitchen was where it looked like everyone was stacked on top of each other. As I placed my order the person taking the order seemed to be not listening and just randomly tapping the compute screen. Then when my food was ready my order appeared on the counter and no one was really there to help or make sure it was right, which is wasn't. I never really had much confidence that the food was going to come out correct. We ordered a couple of burgers and some fries with cheese and chili. Everything was good, not great but good. Burgers are kind of small but they tasted really good. The restaurant is pretty busy to include the seating area. I lucked out and got a seat quickly but some people had to walk around for a few minutes before another table cleared.

They want a tip on self checkout but won't fill a $9, 24oz beer up. Always reluctant to visit money-grab establishments like this but thought I'd do it anyway. Big mistake. Don't fill beer up and now I have to go to McDonald's to eat again because $13 wasn't enough to satisfy my appetite here.

Enjoyed the meal here, the burgers were small but delicious; I like how the patty is thin and it tasted fresh. Because the burgers are so small I needed two to feel satisfied. I ordered: ShackBurger ($5.99), Smoke Shack (7.69), French Fries (3.09), Large fountain drink ($3.49), & a Chocolate Churro Shake (6.29) = for a grand total of $28.74. They do not offer combos/meals, so everything is completely separate. As you can see, the price adds up pretty quickly. I do feel this is expensive for a burger joint. The chocolate churro shake wasn't my cup of tea. It was just too much which was unfortunate because of how much I paid for it. Overall my meal/experience was good. I can see myself returning - just make sure you're not starving when you come b/c you'll drop some coin!

my bun is missing and i got cheese fries and only 5 have cheese on them. this place is terrible do not recommend!

Horrible Establishment! Just went inside to order and waited several minutes at the register to order. They kept looking at us and no one came over. Another family came in as we were leaving and they immediately ran up to take their order. We have been to several SS throughout the US we will never ever be back and I will let everyone know never to eat at this location. Ellie we did contact via email . We received three different emails asking us to rate our follow up on our issue. No one followed up

Shakira McKay is the absolute best. Professional, personable and unbelievably helpful. She should be running Shake Shack's corporate offices. Please promote her and give her a raise. It's hard to find people that care about their customers and Shakira definitely cares.

The food was delicious, service was very good and the server Steve went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied with our order. Lovely location and will definitely recommend this place if you are in the mood for a good burger and shake.

The food is just okay these days. Definitely overpriced and overcrowded. The food quality has gone down over last few months drastically. But it's really the service that really sucks now. I had a recent experience when the staff was lying to everyone saying food wait time was 15-20 minutes whereas it was more than 45 minutes. That is not acceptable. I will not be coming back - for this price, I have plenty of other choices.

My son ate everything. That says a lot! Lol. Shake shack is never a miss. Location could be cleaner, it took a while to find a clean table, but staff was courteous and cleaned a table for us with no problem. Staff was pleasant and patient. Great experience here.

I love Shake Shack. I stopped in on my way home from South Carolina. There was plenty of parking in the shopping center. It was a beautiful day so I parked far and did a bit of a walk. The workers were very friendly. I have the app and for some reason it signed me out. I asked a worker for the best way to get the rewards linked to my account. The guy working notified me that Shake Shack doesn't have a rewards system. I did not realize that! Shake Shack please make that a thing! I ordered a ShackBurger add bacon and cheese fries. I was so full from my cheese fries that I couldn't finish my burger so I took it home. It reheated just fine after being refrigerated the next day. We sat inside as we waited for our food to finish. We didn't realize that they would bring the food outside. The wait wasn't long. After our food was brought to us we went and sat on the outdoor area since it was a beautiful day. There was plenty of tables and seating. The surrounding area was nice. We were seated by the park/playground area. I love the area and my food was very yummy so I'd definitely revisit!

We came here for an early sunday lunch and I was shocked that there was only one person taking orders while there was a solid 20 people waiting in line. I was even more disappointed when I tried to order a hot dog and they were out of it! We ordered and sat down. Someone calls your name and you pick up your food. We got a few burgers and fries and a order of chicken nuggets. The nuggets were good but greasy. We ordered the 10 piece and was a little annoyed the sauce they gave us was less than half full. I went to go ask for mustard and they said they were out of mustard. Seriously? How can a burger place be out of mustard. Go to the grocery store next door and get a few bottles. They don't even serve actual packets of mustard, they serve it in a to go ramekin. Overall, the food was good but this last experience wasn't the greatest!

As a tradition, whenever my mother and I are alone because my dad's on a business trip, we have a girls night out. Today we decided to visit this shake shack as we were doing things in the area. I'd heard hype about it from where I go to school, so when we got our food, we were a little disappointed. It's not bad food, it's just average. The cheese fries were good, but the chicken wasn't all that.

Food ok, burgers are tasty. Service rude beyond belief. Asked for ketchup to go, the thugs behind the counter literally threw the packets in my bag. This place is off the list now.

My friend wanted to check this place out so I figured why not! I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich- extra spicy with fries. The sandwich was pretty good, the spice level wasn't as much as I had hoped for, so I was left wanting more. The reason why I am giving three stars is because the fries tasted like cardboard. I'm not sure if it was not a fresh batch, or what was going on that evening- however they went straight to the bin. I may go back to try the food again and if i find that it was a more pleasant experience, I will post an update!

I've been to this location on two occasions and each time I've left unimpressed. Shake Shack has decent burgers but for the price and portion size, I would not visit again. This location is clean and well staffed but the burgers don't justify the price. The highlight of this location is their sanitation grade. Otherwise, I was disappointed to say the least!

Well, not what I thought .. the tiniest little Burgers I have ever ordered. My friend had a Bourbon Bacon Jam Double burger. Bacon was okay Burger was very tiny for 14.00 ! I had the Avocado Bacon Single burger but really I thought they were off the kids menu. Not happy with this at all. the Avocado was so paper thin I could barely see it. Very small burger ! I would not recommend this venue !

So sad how bad the service is at this place. Bunch of kids who definitely don't want to be there and no management to hold anyone accountable. We had to order our food 2 times and they still got the order wrong. They will charge you for food you didn't ask for and then not even include the extra food so you won't notice. Franchising kills great idea such as this. You can walk over to 5 guy's in 2 minutes and your greeted with a smile, burger is made fresh and cost less. This is a pass sadly

Crowded and the fries were not good-tasted like fries you would have at a school cafeteria. My GF bun was actually ok for a "GF bun" but none of us felt all that great after eating there. It was greasy and the burger was pink inside. If you don't want a pinkish burger you need to order well done. Also went to the desk to order a milk shake after we were done eating and no one came to take our order so we left.

Ci still remember when the first Shake Shack open in Charlotte, you have wait about 45 mins to get your order. Fast forward to now, Chatlotte has three locations. I went on a Friday afternoon during lunch, no one was at the indoor dining area and only one couple was outside. It is easy to see How this place has slow down that much. The food was good, but I had better Shake Shack food, for some reason I still thinks the New York location was better. The burger tasted good just not the best Burger I ever had. I will come back but this is starting to felt like a regular fast food chain.

Time for a quick Covid-19 updated review. The food is still on point. and the time from placing an order to receiving it is pretty good. I came to beat the lunch rush, so I was happy to get my to-go order fast. A young lady named Malak handled my order are was very pleasant, handled things with a smile. In these crazy times, it's nice to get a pleasant person working in the service industry. This visit was a 5 star..... good food, served quickly with good service. What more do you want?

Charlotte Airport location is the worst example of a restaurant that I've seen! 10-12 people working and the line of people waiting is ridiculous because all the employees are horse-playing, jaw jacking and screwing off with each other. I'm standing here watching women playing with their hair braids with gloves on and then touching food. It's disgusting! I only ordered a burger and they lost the order! Cooks are horse playing with each other while attempting to cook and touching each other and then touching food. Disgusting! I was so disgusted that I asked for my money back and got out of there as quickly as I could. When I got to my gate to depart and was sharing my experience with my wife, one of the Gate Agents said I should never have gone there, as that is the worst restaurant in the airport. Just one more credible opinion! Someone from corporate needs to clean house and start over with a new crew because this one is worthless!

They have the best burger and fries. It's always fresh. Their milkshakes and lemonades are also very good.

Pleasantly surprised by how good the veggie burger was! It was perfectly crispy and tasty. Not usually a big fan of the crinkle fries but these were great! Definitely recommend the special sauce that they have. The atmosphere is very casual. Perfect spot for a quick place to grab a burger.

I am a lover of cheeseburgers and was thrilled to learn that Charlotte was getting a Shake Shack. I live in Charleston now so I try to swing by for a burger and fries (and cheese sauce) every time I'm home. The burgers are grilled beautifully. The bun is delicate but still holds up to the grease of the burger and the juice from any toppings. The lettuce and tomato always taste fresh and not slimy like some other burger joints. I never really knew how much I love crinkle cuts fries until my first visit at Shake Shack. They are fried golden brown with a salty, crispy finish. You're not going to find a better fry at any quick service restaurant! The added bonus is the option to get cheese sauce added to your fries (I like mine on the side). The cheese sauce is thick and creamy and doesn't taste like it is scraped from a can. You know the cheese is bad for you as you scoop it up with your fries, but you just can't stop! I'm hoping we will get one soon in Charleston!

Saw Shake Shack on a food network show. Thought cool could be a good burger place. On a Saturday, they had only 1 person taking orders at lunch. I got the smokehouse shack fries and lemonade. My better half just had a burger. First off wow expensive little burger. Truth be told other than the pepper relish the burger had very little flavor. A quarter pounder deluxe is way better. I was very disappointed since the program stated folks in NY wait for hours. Seems there are no good burger joints in NY. Btw there is a 5 guys maybe a block away. Better burger and fries, and service. For me it was a 1 and done.

I was not impressed. I wanted the 'Shroom Burger ($6.89) but was told that it wasn't a "real burger," so the staff changed it to the Shack Stack ($9.59) instead. They said the 'Shroom burger was like a vegetarian burger, that it did not have a bun or meat. This should be clarified on the menu, and definitely not listed in the middle of the "Burgers" menu. The burger tasted good (I especially liked the crispy fried portobello mushroom with the melted muenster and cheddar cheeses), but it was certainly not worth almost $10. The Chick'n Bites ($4.59 for 6 pieces, $6.59 for 10 pieces) are tiny and not very impressive either. Outdoor seating was nice though. A couple dog bowls are available for your furry friends. They have giant Jenga pieces, a ping pong table, and cornhole as well for entertainment.

I love everything about Shake shack. I crave the double shack and it has never ever disappointed. One of my all time favorites and is consistently delicious!

A single burger, fries and small shake cost me $14.67 for lunch. While you digest that and calculate what it would run a family of four to dine here, I'll tell you about my meal... The burger was tasty and fresh, however, I would have preferred a cheeseburger, but the only cheese option is American. Those of us who prefer anything else are out of luck. How difficult would it be to at least offer a cheddar alternative? The fries are nothing special. They appear to be the krinkle cut variety found in your grocer's frozen food case. They were piping hot however. The shake was delicious but no better than Steak n' Shake's or Burger 21's, and at $5?! C'mon man! Service was adequate and the place was clean yet somewhat sterile in atmosphere. Overall, my meal was good but with the plethora of comparable burger joints in Charlotte, this place just doesn't stand out. Yeah, it is a step up from 5 Guys, which is located a few steps away, but I can think of a half dozen or so better (and more affordable) options.

Are you out of your minds?? $22 for a burger, fries and a small shake? A few years back I was shocked when a double bacon burger, fries and a Coke was $11 at a competitor. But you all have taken this to a new level. No wonder fast food workers want $15 per hour. They have to work about 3 hours just to buy lunch (after taxes and social security). Wow!! It'd be one thing if you were using top notch ingredients and offered great service. But you use crappy fillers (hotdogs with wheat and milk in them) and are very slow. Get with it!

I visit shake shack when I'm in the Charlotte area and I'm usually never disappointed. I tried this location for the first time tonight and will never be back. My friend and I had two separate orders. I ordered the Chicken Shack and a side of fries. I LOVE to dip my fries in the herb mayo, so I got my friend to ask for 6 sides of the mayo. It might seem like overkill, but at the other location in Charlotte, the portions are small, so 3 sauces a piece is the perfect amount. The black woman who works there (I'm guessing she's the manager) informed me that the limit is 3 mayos per customer. Well, since my friend and I ordered separately, we should've gotten 6 right? Nope! I kindly asked the guy who brought me my food for a few more mayos since we only got 3 and the black woman brought out one extra (so we got 4 total). She told me there's only so many they can hand out, which is absolutely valid. I wasn't upset until I realized she was loudly talking about my friend and I behind the counter. While we were there, we watched her and she didn't seem to do a thing but chat to all of the other employees. I try not to complain about fast food places, but this experience really irked me. If you want good service at a shake shack go to the one in ParkRoad shopping center.

This was my first time trying Shake Shack & let's just say I loved everything! Great customer service and the food, SO GOOD. I'm so ready to go back & wish we had one closer to where I lived. In the meantime I will be back and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great chicken sandwich, burger, or delicious cheese fries!

I'm a long time shake shack fan and am pleased to have one near us. The secret to success is to order on the app, they are always done freakishly fast for pick up. The only problem is the shakes are usually pretty melted by the time we get home, wish there was some way to keep them cold while they wait for pick up. I'm not a fan of the fries on their own but add some cheese and bacon and you won't be disappointed. I usually come here when I'm craving a burger but the chicken and mushroom burger are also delicious.

The important thing with Shake Shack is to set realistic expectations. The hype is crazy and does a disservice to the food. We found the food solid and a strong competitor to Five Guys or Culver's. The burgers were good and simple. We loved the fries too. My Hot Chicken sandwich was very good with the right amount of spice. Our family of four enjoyed a meal of 3 fries, 3 burgers, and one Hot chicken sandwich. The final price was $48 (with drinks). It was an ok value for the food. They should do well in the area. It's nice to have another alternative for burgers.

Why is this location never open? It runs the most inconvenient hours. Twice I've tried to eat here, only to find that the hours on the app are wrong or they've suddenly decided to close for the night, at like 6 PM.

Food is consistent but service can be slow. And they removed their drink station so you have to wait on the overwhelmed kitchen staff to fix your drink. What a step backwards in service.

Stopped by and take out came out rather fast, in about 10 minutes. I had 6 chick bites that, while tasty were very small. I also tried a black/ white shake which was vanilla with chocolate fudge, I really couldn't taste the fudge. The staff was friendly and helpful but, the food gets an average rating.

My family and I love shake shack! Their chicken sandwich is soooooo good!!! We all have found something we love which makes it easy! My son loves their burgers and shakes! Highly recommend

First of all, GREAT Health Dept Inspection score, 99. Outstanding. (I'm big on good high scores.) Ordered a single burger & fries & both were very fresh & hot. Burger was tasty & fries were hot, fresh & crispy. Probably the best fries I've had in a long time. Wanted to try a shake but that will be for next time because I will be back.

I don't know what it is with all these bad reviews. I LOVED SHAKE SHACK! I am in love with this place. The burgers are fresh and juicy and cooked to perfection. I LOVE the fact that they are served on warm potato buns. The fries are so good. I'm usually not a fan of crinkle cuts, but these are amazing! Crispy and delicious, unlike most soft and soggy ones. The cheese and bacon just took it to a whole new level. I recommend the Shark Attack Concrete. IT IS AMAZING! I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!

The burgers are adequate. The chicken sandwich is not good at all. The fries are like the school lunchroom fries of my childhood (not good). The chocolate shake was just ok. The only menu item I would recommend are the hotdogs. I've heard so many good things about Shake Shack and we've come to this location on two separate trips to try and fall in love with the food. I've accepted that it's just not going to happen.

One of the best burgers that my girlfriend and I have ever had! We both had smoke shacks which were amazing. Very juicy and tender beef with melted American cheese - great! I also had a side of bacon cheese fries. The crinkle fries have an excellent crunch. Service was great and fast. Only complaint is that they are a tad bit pricey, but it is worth it!

Will definitely return. The chicken burger was my favorite. All of the burgers were good. The fries were good. The sauce was fine. Nothing special. Next time I'll have some shakes
