Where to Eat at Harry Reid Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"A New York–born smash-burger spot serving trademark burgers paired with crinkle-cut fries and thick milkshakes; located in the post-security food court with access for A gates, it offers a reliable, casual meal for travelers." - Janna Karel

Redeye milkshake, chocolate milkshake, avocado chicken sandwich, and the shroom burger all tasted good. Plenty of seating. My food took about 15 minutes to come out. There are 2 burgers which don’t contain meat, these are good options for vegetarians.

I had added 3 extra shack sauce which was never given. The service is really poor, there weren’t even as many people for them to make such mistakes. Even the shroom sandwiches that I received were falling apart, very poor service.

Not nearly fast enough for an airport eatery, especially a chain. It’s an open kitchen so you can easily observe that the workers are moving with zero haste or urgency whatsoever. Annoying anywhere, unacceptable in an airport.

They have only 2 automated kiosks from which you may order. Inevitably a large group or a slow person will tie up the kiosks for 5 minutes or more. There is usually a long line just to get to the kiosk and order. Shake Shack should install at least 2 additional kiosks. The ordering process once you are at the kiosk is slow. When you try to checkout, it tries to upsell you more food. Then it asks you for a tip. Then it asks you to donate to a charity. Finally it asks you to pay. By the time I finished paying, I had already spent 10-15 minutes there. Once you pay, the incredibly long wait begins. People in front of us had been waiting 10-15 minutes just to get a simple small order. After ordering, I went to Dunkin (which is a 5-7 minute walk from Shake Shack), made a purchase, and walked back. My order was still not ready, and people who ordered before me were still waiting. None of the workers would come to the counter to explain why the delay was so very long. We could see the staff from the counter, and they were clearly in no hurry to prepare any of the food. After spending 30-35 minutes total there, I had to leave to catch my flight, with no food from Shake Shack. Unless you are prepared to wait more than 35 minutes (15+ mins to order and 20+ mins to make your order), I highly recommend avoiding this Shake Shack and going to any other restaurant.

Guy rudely yelled at me for checking the bags on the counter when I looked at them, saying don't look at other people's bags. Names on the bags were facing the kitchen and not the customers so customers couldn't see it only the staff unless they turned it around. My name was on the screen that showed orders ready for pickup. Turned out it wasn't ready for pickup but I thought it was one of the bags. Also turned out this specific shake shack has a policy that you can't come to the front, unless your name is called. Weird policy, what happens when you miss the bag? You just got to wait until the next random time they call names? Never seen that policy at a shake shack or any other pick up chain, ever. How was I supposed to know this? No sign or anything, just rude.
