Shake Shack Bridgeport Village

The location looked promising, with a clean inside and comfortable patio seating. However, nearly every other aspect of our dinner was poor. Our order was simple enough: three burgers, fries, and a milkshake. In spite of providing a phone number, name, and table number whilst placing our order on one of the tablets, our order was marked as to go, and we were kept waiting for upwards of 1 hour until this problem was noticed and fixed. When our food (remade) finally came out, some parts of my burger, like the bacon and the sauce were still stone cold. Overall the food was okay, but due to glaring issues with the service, we won't be coming back any time soon.

Always a fan of their cheeseburgers, especially the ShackBurger and their limited-time black truffle burger. The cheese fries are a must, and their shakes never disappoint. No matter which location we visit, the quality is always consistent. The customer service is friendly, and the self-order stations make the process quick and easy, so there’s usually no long wait. A solid go-to for a great burger!

HALF-A$$ HAMBURGER I really expected something fantastic for $14 based on the photo I saw of the Truffle Mushroom Burger. This was my third trip to Shake Shack and my first non-chicken order. The patty wasn’t hot and didn’t have crisp edges at all and was grossly under-seasoned. Bun was marginally stale, but it being toasted helped the texture. The truffle goo tasted good and there was so little of it on my burger that it didn’t make me taste much truffle bite after bite. They need more than one water and ketchup dispenser. People were waiting in la decent line to get ketchup, napkins, and water. Staff were lovely. Refilled my drink and checked on me. The restrooms were spotless.

Great quality food. Everything was delicious, and the service was exceptional! We went 3 days in a row teying to score a Dubai Chocolate Shake and it was worth it!

Great food, service and atmosphere. All the food is a bit pricey but very delicious. We had the shack burger and the mushroom burger. The mushroom burger was a bit pricey but was delicious. Unfortunately, the burgers are a bit small so I wasn't full after one burger. Great outdoor seating area. We also tried the frozen custard which was thick and delicious

It was our first time at the Bridgeport location, which looks really cool. The options were interesting, we tried the Korean style burgers and fries: Korean style fried chicken, Korean Barbecue and Korean seasoned fries with a very tasty sauce on the side. The service was good and it has a nice decor, clean and sleek. There are outdoor seats with a neat fireplace. I don't rate five starts because there was not a lettuce "bun" option! 😉

their burgers here are extremely fresh with lots of great seasonal options. Zach was the man and was very accommodating and friendly definitely the best burger joint in town.

I love dining at Shake Shack! This was our second time dining there. I love this location. We had the big shack burger and mushroom French onion burger. The big shack burger was rather big. It was good but it seems to lack flavor. I am not sure what was missing. I was actually disappointed with the mushroom French onion burger. I thought this burger is new to the menu options. The size was so tiny. The French onion sauce overwhelmed the burger flavor. I will not order this burger again.

Personal preference but smashburgers with their char flavor rule for me. And nobody does smashburgers more consistently than Shake Shack. We had the Smokeshack which had bacon & pimento peppers. Chock full of flavor and crunch. Burgers out in 5 minutes and most every Shake Shack is super clean. If you can join their "club," discounts are oftentimes available which makes their food affordable.

Nice burger spot, quality is nice. I could not get over how juicy my double stacker was! The potato buns and sauce are probably my most favorite things. We always sit on the open patio to enjoy our meal. Tasty but spending that's for sure, 3 burgers and 2 drinks was $37.

This was a great place to go for burgers, the burger was yummy, the bun was soft, the bacon was plentiful, and the veg was crisp. I also had the spicy cheese fries, which were good but not amazing, not crispy really, though the spicy cheese was good. Service was super quick, and everything was pretty though the table was greasy because it had yet to be cleaned.

I have eaten here every couple weeks since they opened. It's a first class restaurant and team goes the extra mile. Restaurant and bathrooms are always clean. Food/shakes are constantly great quality.

I've been wanting to try the new cherry limeade since I first saw it advertised, and I finally got a chance to stop in at the Bridgeport location. Fast service and fresh tasting, refreshing drink, exactly what I had in mind!

They have nice our door seating area, but I wish they would keep that area cleaner, no dirty napkins, trash on the floor. Their food is very good

It was my first visit. Burger and fries were decent. Place was clean. When I walked in all their iPad's were occupied with people ordering. It took a while to get to order and I thought that was the only way to order in the store. I noticed some people walk in and go straight to the counter to order. While I was waiting to get to an IPad there were definitely staff at the counter standing around and never once said come to the counter to order. Once I ordered things came out pretty quickly. I'd probably give the place another shot, maybe try a different location.

8 or 9 fries were undercooked and the chicken bites were bad. The oil has not been changed ? Shake shack at cedar hills is much better

Upon entering it looks like a regular restaurant. Shake Shack is in my top 3 burger spots. The burgers are smashed, tasty and juicy on a potato bun. Crinkle cu fries are great as well. Right now for a limited time they have a Dubai chocolate inspired shake. The service is always good. This place s a must try!

This was a late night stop and a gamble that turned out to be a big win! The place was spotless, had a nice fire pit and heated seating outside, as well as lots of seating options inside. The staff wasn't overly friendly but weren't rude either. They just did what they were supposed to. The burgers were good! The fries were cooked perfectly and probably my new #1 for a "fast food" fry. Then came the milkshake. Oh my gosh!! That salted caramel shake was something from heaven. It's a good thing I don't live close or I'd have a big problem fitting into my pants haha!

Shake Shack is one of my favorite burger places. Everything I've tried is excellent, except for the fries, which remind me of my elementary school cafeteria. I don't understand why Shake Shack and In-N-Out have such terrible fries. The BBQ Smokehouse is my favorite burger here. I am giving it a four instead of five stars because it is too heavily seasoned, the fries taste like cardboard, and for what it is, it is overpriced. The service is also good; I ordered at the kiosk, and ten minutes later, I enjoyed the burger goodness. The staff has always been fast and polite. You would expect the ambiance of a burger joint: cold air conditioning and hard plastic seats. They also have a large outdoor area, which is nice.

Very attentive and friendly staff! They allowed us to stay past closing to finish our foods. Very quick service too. I appreciate how prompt and proactive the employees were.

They recently added a Korean version for the fries and burger-it was really good. The seasoning on the fries gave it a nice kick and the dipping sauce was a nice compliment with it. Self serve portals were east to use and clean. Clean bathrooms, nice outdoor space and good service.

My favorite each time is the bacon chicken avocado sandwich, it's so filling and delicious. The staff is friendly, efficient and accommodating. One order of fries is good for two people and possibly a small child. Their fry sauce is gross to me, no flavor to it, basically just mayo in a cup lightly pink. Their cookies and cream, vanilla, and chocolate shakes are our favorite.

Shake Shack is consistently the best fast food burger that I've ever had. By far. I love this place so much.

Food is meh, service meh, no ambiance. Had lunch there, we ordered on the iPads ourself, waited over 15 minutes for the food to arrive. We sat outside, no one is cleaning the tables or sweeping or emptying the trash, so flies are buzzing around. They messed up both our burgers, one was not well done- even though it had a well done sticker, the other was a cheese burger instead of a plain burger. Fries were fine. The staff does deliver your food, but they don't remove the number sign when they do, so many tables look like they are occupied when they are not. The place wasn't super busy so no excuse for it to be so messy. Lots of other options around the mall. Update: Why would we have to email you? You got the feedback. You can do something about it if you want.

I think when it comes to fast food chains, many of us naturally prefer the ones we grew up eating. We have nostalgic food memories of a particular style of burgers, fries, and shakes. So as a (relative) newbie to Shake Shack it was just all right, nothing special. I went traditional with my order and got the ShackBurger, fries, and a chocolate shake. My favorite of the three items was the chocolate shake because of the thick consistency (hello custard!). The burger was fine and the fries were a disappointment. It is the age old thing of liking the burger at one place (In-N-Out), fries at another (Five Guys), and a milkshake from a third (Shake Shack) to have a truly satisfying meal. Parking at Bridgeport can be difficult at times, but they have a row of 30 minute spots just in front. The dining area is small and the service when I visited was outstanding. Order at the counter, delivered to your table, and staff was walking through checking in with diners while I was there. So elevated fast food. Another disappointment about this chain is that they have an App, but it is solely for ordering and there are no benefits as of yet. They do mention seasonal deals in the app (e.g. Trolls milkshakes) which can also be ordered in the restaurant.

This location is not as hectic as some of the others. I went off script and got the pricy hot chicken sandwich: it's a very worthy version and pleasantly took me by surprise. Service was on par with Chick-fil-A. Interior is very clean. The wet wipes by the trash cans are huge and dripping with antibacterial liquid.

We came to celebrate an achievement at school. Obviously we hold it in high regards. Mainly for the sandwiches. First introduced to the chain in Texas. Which is a different set up. This location seems to feed off pick up orders online orders and kiosk orders. They seem to handle the crowds very well. It's an entitled crowd while looking for any freebie they can. Who needs ten ketchups and eight waters for three people for example. Sorry humans disappoint at every level. The same people are putting in orders like this on the side and that extra and medium well and crispy fries with some secret sauce. How about you just take whatever you don't want off the sandwich and don't go up to the counter to complain about a pickle being on your sandwich. Just take it off and if your allergic or something just go up and say I need another one. We don't need to witness your drama and what are you teaching your kids to get that upset about it? We find the food good for fast food. It's tasty and done a step above most other fast food. Not a fan of the tip ask at the kiosk. Again who am I tipping? The shakes are good. Again better thanost fast food. They kind of stumble on the fries. Always seem to be slightly undercooked. They are always busy so they do food right.

I was surprised to see how calm this spot is compared to the Cedar Hills and Downtown locations. But I like how chill it is, the interior is clean and has a lot of greenery. Also there's lots of outdoor seating and a fireplace next to it, so I like the cozy vibes. The interior reminds me of some of the Shake Shack's I've been to in SoCal. I got a classic Shack Burger with no cheese, Fries, and the Harvest Berry Lemonade with caffeine added. The Shack Burger was good as usual except the meat was a bit overdone because it was slightly tough. The fries were just as good as the other times I've had it. I liked the lemonade but not sure if the added caffeine did anything. It's a bummer since I paid extra for it. I would've much rather had a Fifty/Fifty Lemonade but that wasn't on the menu.

I was so excited to hear we were getting a Shake Shack. All of my East coast friends have raved about it for years. After hearing rave reviews I went in with pretty high expectations. That being said the food didn't live up to the hype. The burgers were good but not great. The cheese fries were amazing though. But let's talk about the shakes... if you call yourself Shake Shack you should do good shakes. However the shakes are just not good. Overly sweet and a weird texture. I do have to say the staff at this location is great and the decor is on point.

I have now been to all three of the Shake Shacks in the Portland area. I think this one is my favorite. Located at Bridgeport, it is a cozy spot with indoor seating, a patio outside with a fireplace and the employees are friendly. They walk around making sure you are taken care of, plus take anything that you are done with. One of our burgers didn't get added to our cart when checking out on the ipad, but they were able to make it really fast after we realized it was missing. I appreciated the service. My favorite is still the Shack Burger, the sauce on it is so good and the cheese perfectly melted. Their food is fresh and delicious.

So glad we've moved to the west side, because shake shack is our go to place. We got the Korean seasonal burger, and the smoke shack!

I had no idea there was a shake shack in Bridgeport. So of course I had to check it out. I have always thought that their burgers were at the top of the fast food chain. They use good meat, and everything always is so fresh. When I went inside, it appeared there was two lines. One side for cash and the other side with a bunch of iPad type ordering devices for people with credit cards. I had cash and actually that was the longer line. When I got to the front I ordered up a shake shack cheeseburger and fries to go and was given the number. After about 10 minutes, I noticed that everybody before me and after me that ordered, I had their food except for me. I went to the counter and the cashier went in the back to check on it, and apparently it had gotten missed or who knows what. So about five minutes later, I receive my order and left. The burger was absolutely delicious and so are the fries, so no complaints here except that my orders seem to disappear and took longer than it should've. The restaurant was super clean and there was also someone in the dining room cleaning/stocking at all times. I am actually happy that they opened the new location.

Been there a few times cause meat is awesome and cooked perfect but yesterday the burgers were on some kind of thin flimsy buns. Slide off, thin and doughy and wrinkled What happened? Can u fix this?

This was my first time trying Shake Shack and although I wasn't like top tier impressed with the food I was with the service. This is the first time I go to a fast food place and everyone is kind and friendly and just genuinely happy to be there. I got the bacon avocado burger and it was decent however it needed some spice I wish they had jalapeños or a spicy something. I am a bacon lover so I was glad to see bacon everywhere on the menu.

This was our first time trying Shake Shack, trying to decipher if it's worth the hype. To be honest, the bun was the best part of the burger. Everything else was just kind of meh, nothing really spectacular. Service was excellent, constantly coming around the dining room for refills and to clean up trays / trash. Hard to call this a destination worth going out of your way for though.

For me, the burgers were too salty and the fries were tasteless. My hubby, on the other hand, likes salty food so the burger was pretty good! I'd give it more stars if the staff at least greeted me when I entered but they were too busy singing in the back. I got two sentences when someone finally came to the counter... 1) App order to go? 2) Need anything else like extra sauce? But that was really the extent of the conversation.

I ordered for the first time through Uber eats which I understand delivered the food. However, when I got it it was cold to the touch. After trying to reheat it with an air fryer, it just compromised it completely. I called Uber eats after 2 hours of searching for a phone number and basically was told they would do nothing. I spoke with a manager at shake shack hoping for some type of resolution and was offered nothing. So between the integrity of the food and honestly the portion size you can do better. There are many other choices for burgers. So again, if you have a issue, they lack the professionalism to offer anything in compensation to get you to return. Oh well. Like I said I will take my own advice and eat elsewhere

Alrighty then to shake shack we go!!!! Only my second time ever and I'm pleasantly surprised. Ordered a couple double cheeeseburgers and some truffle fries. The burgers are delicious no getting around that but the fries were weak sauce. Need cooked longer and the dipping sauce was no good. So now the downside, all of the tables were dirty, crumbs ,water, trash etc.... Food came out fast and hot though which kept the rating solid. All in all I'll be back. Good day all!!

I attended their Friends & Family Day. The staff were attentive and friendly! clean and spacious with outdoor seating. I've been to other shake shack locations before, so I'd say this place taste the same as others. I didn't like their new kiwi green apple limeade because it was too sweet for me. Their new spicy cheese fries with ranch wasn't too spicy. I'd recommend ordering it with the cheese on the side. Overall, good experience!

Went there because someone at the Apple Store recommended this place but the food is okay. It took me like less than five minutes and got our food. But the fries are kind of mid. Lots of people are there trying this place and it was popular. Fries, didn't care for. Chicken sandwich, was great, and the 50/50 lemonade was kinda bitter. Maybe I should go back another time to try their shakes.

Very well seasoned food. Ingredients were fresh. - Burgers were really tasty, - Fries were just fresh, good quality fries, but nothing mind blowing. - Nuggets were a bit crumbly but tasted great, ranch on the side is a must. The staff are nice and the place is very clean. Overall, great experience.

We asked for no cheese on 1 burger. We put this in our yelp order as special instructions for the burger. There was cheese on the burger and now one person has NO meal. No respect for those with food allergies.

Yummy food and delicious truffle fries. Good service and nice ambiance. Didn't like that the cashier walked away after helping the person in front of me, forcing me to use the kiosk, which I avoid as it takes jobs from workers. Will definitely give it another try.

the burgers leave a bad taste in your mouth, the fry sauce is literally just mayo w a dash of ketchup. i don't get the hype. we also got fry's which were so inconsistent, for example some would be like not cooked all the way and some seemed like they were fried like it was their 5th time round. :( five guys is better yall.

well done burgers often still red in middle, the manager (male, tall, mustache, Caucasian) had an "I don't care attitude" wasn't concerned with feedback, this location has been going downhill for a couple months with service and staff, guess he's a-okay with it!

Amazing good burgers. Finally a burger that tastes like a real burger. I no longer just eat any burger. Plus the prices are reasonable. Cheaper than most fast foods.

Our family became extremely ill after eating here, and food very greasy and over-salted. This location doesn't seem as clean as other locations we have visited. I don't think we would return.

Ordered the hotdog for delivery. It was possibly the worse hotdog I have ever had. I tossed it in the trash after two bites, and became physically ill within minutes.

My husband and I took our 3 granddaughters there for lunch today, as none of us had been before and were excited to try it. It was a great experience from start to finish. Riley took our order and was patient and personable as we were asking questions and deciding what order. Our order came in about 5 mins and it was hot and fresh. The hamburgers are honestly the best "fast food" burgers we've ever had, the quality and taste is amazing. The fries are crinkle cut, not my favorite, but that's just my own preference. The girls loved their milk shakes, and the strawberry lemonade and ice tea were both high quality. This will definitely be a favorite from now on!

Shake Shack was a pleasant surprise...Great food...great service and moderate prices for a clean and quality fast food experience...quite the list of shakes...
