Made an app order for pickup. It located in the Cabin John Shopping Center off Seven Locks Road. There were plenty of free parking. There were nobody at the front counters, so went around to find a staff. The bag of two items were ready at the time of promise. The 6pc Chicken Bites were crispy and tasty. The single ShackBurger was well prepared as expected.

Shake Shack in Potomac,MD always has great service. I wasn't sure about their Elote Crispy Chicken sandwich- Milene assisted me with patiently describing the ingredients of the sandwich and helped me decide which Chicken sandwich to order. No regrets, the Elote was yum! Also, Shamiya was a very efficient server. 👍👍👍

We got takeout from this Shake Shack for our party of 6 and were pleased that our order was correct. Spouse had the bacon cheeseburger, I had a plain hamburger, we split an order of fries, and we each got the coffee and donuts milkshake. The burgers and shakes were perfect. I thought the order of fries was a little too small for the price, and crinkle cut aren't our favorite, but overall, it was a great meal.

Burger & shake were both top notch! Our server, Labiba was very polite, helpful, friendly & personable!

After one visit, Shake Shack has become one of my favorite places for a burger! Their Bourbon Burger is a flavor explosion, with a juicy patty, crispy bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and this amazing bourbon glaze that takes it to a whole new level. And let me tell you about their Spicy Cheese Fries…10/10. The whole vibe at Shake Shack is welcoming, the staff is super friendly, and I'm already planning my next visit to try more food! There was plenty of seating and parking. The men’s bathroom was a bit unkept…but it’s not a deal breaker (in my opinion).

Order was ready when I came back from a couple other stops I made in the shopping center. Mario offered me all the sauces I wanted since I was taking my order home. Still really like the shroom burger. I did get a shack burger for my dad, and he enjoyed it! Fries were great! And I may need to get large quantities of the shack sauce cause that's good on everything!

UberEats totally screwed up our delivery without any recourse. I drove to the location and the Manager there was aghast at what had happened. He replicated our order without hesitation.... and did not double charge for it. Started off badly however ended very well. Thanks to the MGR & Will.

Average at best. Small sandwich that tastes good. Standard fries. Near $30 for lunch? That’s too much.

Pretty average shake shack but I have to say the quality of food is not consistent. My fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned but my burger patty was dry because it was overcooked. I ordered a standard shake shack burger and it disappointed a bit. Otherwise it still tasted good. The burger is a decent size. Service is quick so that I appreciate. Restaurant is also very clean and pretty spacious. It's a casual fast-food place but still nice to sit in and eat at. They have outdoor seating as well with umbrellas for warmer weather.

Before Christmas, I stopped in to satisfy my sweet tooth with one of their seasonal holiday milkshakes. This location and shake selection did not disappoint! I ordered online, walked in and my shake was ready within minutes. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the Chocolate Yule Log Shake was delectable! Bonus that there's multiple EV chargers in the shopping center.

Such a potentially good burger! Too bad every time we come lately, burgers were just thrown together and just a big mess to eat. This time, they gave me a top bun the size of a quarter! We did have them remake it, but again, it was just thrown together. Very expensive for what you get. And it's so loud in there. Just not a very pleasant experience.

I've visited a few times through the years and I'm not a big fan of this chain in general, the value isn't there for me. The taste of the burgers are slightly elevated for a fast food place, but the patty is still cheap and flavorless to me. The Chipotle Avocado Bacon Burger was tasty, good kick, but messy to eat. For the cost of a burger and fries for $15, you can go to a real restaurant and order takeout for a better burger. Service is typical of fast food places. Ambiance is ok depending on the crowd, there's indoor and outdoor seating. Shakes are thick since it's frozen custard, it's a workout to drink, might need a spoon. Chocolate salted caramel shake was very sweet but good.

I got the Avocado Bacon Burger and the Chicken Shack. The Chicken Shack came for free, as for the month of April you can use the code "chickensunday" at checkout with an order of more than $10 and receive a free chicken sandwich, which is nice! The Avocado bacon burger was good but heavily seasoned, which is a good or bad thing depending on your taste, but in my opinion it was a bit TOO salty, the quality of the ingredients was pretty good as per Shake Shack's usual standard. The Chicken Shack had a nice crispy fry on the outside, good texture, but the inside was a bit dry and overcooked. Seasoned heavily as well, but not as salty as the burger. Overall I do enjoy the occasional Shake Shack burger, I just prefer the burgers over the chicken sandwiches. The self service kiosks were also convenient.

Fiancée and I came here for a cheap date night dinner. I had just come from swim lessons at OneLife Fitness and was pretty hungry. This Cabin John shopping mall has been renovated over time and looks very nice, especially at night. There are good restaurants and places to shop. Before eating we sat outside and talked on a patio behind Colony grill. Once hungry we went to order our food; it was within 30 minutes of closing. The servers were pleasant and our food was well prepared. Shake Shack always does a good job on presentation. That's true of every location I've visited. This location is one of the best! Thanks for a tasty dinner and I'll definitely be back.

Was in the area and looking for a quick place to grab lunch. Located in a cute, very new looking shopping center with a few other options to choose from. My daughter and I chose Shake Shack because who doesn't love crinkle fries? We both ordered burgers and it came out fairly quickly. We ordered bacon cheese fries and I appreciated that the toppings were put into separate containers otherwise the fries would've been soggy. Service was great!

First time going to any Shake Shack. I would probably pass on a 2nd visit. This is basically self service ordering at a kiosk. Luckily one of the associates walked up to the counter when I started ordering because I had a question regarding the spicy chicken, which he was considerate and answered my inquiry. We placed the order; however kiosk asked for table #; but there were no instructions where to get the #, nothing on the tables. After waiting for a few minutes someone else came up to front and noticed I was looking around. They asked if I my needed help & I mentioned not knowing how to put a table # in. Come to find out, the number signs weren't anywhere to be found. He went and got some. Meal came fairly quickly, place was clean and modest. They did have self service for filtered water and sodas and limited condiments, just ketchup. The presentation of our sandwiches was lovely. We both ordered the Avocado Bacon chicken sandwich. Delicious but I expected a larger piece of chicken for the price. Crinkle fries were ok, but again felt portion size for the price was lacking. My husband left saying he was still hungry. We were surprised that with "Shake" as part of the name there wasn't any Shake that I was tempted or enticed to try.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON FRIES HERE. Do not listen to anything anyone else says about these fries. If you like these shake shack fries I hope you are cursed with soggy fries for your whole life. They taste like they were microwaved. Burgers and sandwhiches are MID AF. I'D RATHER GO TO MCDONALDS AND YOU KNOW ME, I WIULNT CHOOSE TO EAT AT MCDONALDS.

Was fast and easy to place order (not much people helped move faster lol) but my food was the bomb! My daughter enjoyed her food and the music playing (did her happy food dance) haha

Just ordered some fries from Shake Shack. The picture is attached of how many fries you get for $5. ARE YOU KIDDING? I asked the person working if this is really how many fries you get at $5 an order, and she simply said yes. Unreal

Terrible service - 5 employees at 2:00 on a Tuesday and nobody acknowledged us for our order. Waited 15 minutes for 2 milkshakes and we were five three ( which we were charged for ). Not sure if this is a company owned store or a franchise - management needs to manage as this was an embarrassment to the brand Never going back

I can't believe the nerve of these fast food places. Shake shack has always been overpriced, but I was shocked at my bill of just shy of $15 for a measly burger and fries. Not even a drink. And then they make YOU do the ordering on a touch screen. Nope no service by a human! Of course they have the audacity to ask for a tip, once YOU have done the work.

A solid Shake Shack just like all the others I've been to. It's possible the burger patties are even better charred here than at others, but not sure yet since 1) I could be excitedly biased given I haven't been to an SS in awhile, and 2) I've only been here once so far. I definitely plan to come back. As others have mentioned, the fries are so satisfying: crunchy crinkle cut outside, soft and warm inside. Cheese fries have ample gooeyness. Seating inside and outside is spacious. Most staff are friendly. I did notice a server asked how the food was to the groups of white patrons and my white partner, but not a family of Asian patrons next to us. It was a quick and isolated incident as I didn't have other data points to compare, and all the other staff seemed equally courteous to everyone; so I won't ding this place a star just yet. Hopefully it meant nothing, but I'll keep an eye out next time.

I've experienced in person pickup as well as delivery, both experiences were good. I really enjoy the shroom burger. And unless dietary restrictions prevent it you should definitely add cheese to the fries. The fries remind me of a no frills crinkle cut from my cafeteria lunch days. It's so simple yet so good. Looking forward to another meat-less shroom burger day in the very near future.

Since the Shake Shack in Kentlands doesn't serve Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Bites, or Shroom Burgers, my fiance and I decided to go to the Shake Shack in Cabin John. Their current promotion is a free Chicken Shack, Bacon Cheese Fries, or Shake when you spend $10+ and it ends by Christmas. My fiance wanted a beer but no one came by our kiosk to verify that he was of drinking age so we removed it off our order. I enjoyed the Half N' Half and 'Shroom Burger. I liked how the Half N' Half wasn't as sweet as their Strawberry Lemonade. The 'Shroom Burger consisted of crispy fries portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce and tomato, and Shake Shack sauce on toasted potato bun. My fiance enjoyed the Chicken Shack, which consisted of crispy fried chicken breast over lettuce, pickles, and buttermilk herb mayo on toasted potato bun. We felt that noth of the burgers were smaller in size. We also shared an order of crinkle-cut fries, which were good as usual.

As a long-time former New Yorker who grew up as an adult literally with the original Shake Shack in Madison Square Park, one will never be able to compare any other SS to those original times. However, I will forever be a Shake Shack fan even as its quality is no longer consistent due to (over?) expansion. But with that said, this location has always been the most consistent in the DMV and I've never had a bad experience personally. I love a classic Shackburger and rarely deviate. We got the special bourbon crispy onion burger which was fine - skimped on ingredients compared to some of the other photos I've seen but the quality was there so not going to ding them. Everything was freshly made and I think their cheese fries are still the best I have ever had at any fast food joint. Or maybe just period. For those that haven't tried, they also have one of my favorite fried chicken sandwiches ever and are very well known for their hot dogs. Both are simple but very good ingredients and well thought out which is true to Danny Meyer fashion. Def recommend anyone try Shake Shack once in their lives and this location is the most consistent in the DMV IMO.

Service has been better than in the past. I still recommend ordering through their app or you will be waiting for awhile. I usually order before I leave my house so it will be ready by the time I get there. They do have outdoor dining space but bundle up! The Korean Fried Chicken sandwich was crispy but I really didn't taste the gochujang. It wasn't that spicy at all, so I slathered gochujang I had at home. For their burgers I usually request the patty to be cooked well done as some of the burgers I had was more medium rare.

Every day is a good day. There is something to learn, to care and celebrate. Today, I'm celebrating my #yelpelite status for 2021. * My celebratory meal is from Shake Shack @shakeshack, with a Korean-Style Fried Chick'n breast flavored with a gochujang-glazed on white Kimchi slaw in a sesame seed bun. Cost: ~$8.00 (approximately) in the DC Region . Review:Tasty & delicious, the sauce was very balanced, not too sweet nor was it too spicy. The chicken was moist and cooked well but still juicy. It's an excellent lunch time or dinner time choice. Love pandemic friendly services at Shake Shack, you can order online or in person, then you wait in the car and they will bring your food outside or right to your car. Currently, there's no eating inside in the restaurant. They are consider and put up tents in front, in case you want to wait outside. . Bonus Points: Shake Shack has several new milkshakes, there's a black sugar milkshake and a brownie chocolate cake batter shake. I've tried the first, I'll have to go back for the chocolate one.* . What are you celebrating? What's the reason for that happy dance? If you aren't joyful about something, maybe it's time to find a reason or invent one. Friends, my wish for you is to eat and live deliciously, always.

As a shake shack regular, I can confidently say that this location is just as great as the rest. The shackburgers and fries are FIRE. Burgers are very flavorful, especially with their shack sauce. Fries are a perfect balance of soft and crispy, with a fun crinkle cut shape. I usually get their BBQ and honey mustard dipping sauces on the side too (both very good), as well as one of their specialty lemonades. Although they are known for their burgers, they also have vegetarian options too! Located in Cabin John Shopping Center, there is plenty of parking available at this location. The outdoor seating is pretty nice when the weather is warm. The staff at this location are nice and efficient.

I went in and ordered a burger to eat there. I asked for a burger, lettuce, tomato and ketchup on the side. The receipt had the lettuce and tomato, but when I got my burger, there was no catch-up which I noticed right away. I asked the server there should be catch-up. He kindly went and brought me a few packs of catch-up and Came back out. Nine when I started eating it I realize there's no tomato. I went in to complain to the manager and all he could say was "sorry"

I've been to this location a number of times. I feel I have liked my experiences over-all here more than the Tyson's mall location and would say it is just as good as my experiences at Columbia mall. Everyone is always friendly and helpful here. My to-go orders are usually ready close to the estimated time. Tonight our order was almost correct. We ordered two burgers, two shakes, and two cheese fries. We ordered our shake sauces and cheese sauces on the side. We got the cheese sauces (thank goodness), but no shake sauces. Unfortunately, this was hard to confirm in a dark car so we didn't see until we got home. The shakes were a little different tonight as well, not sure if they just didn't get blended as well because they were busy, but the chocolate shake had what we assume were chunks of chocolate syrup or something kind of floating around. The Christmas Cookie shake had a different taste to it than previous years, like maybe a flavoring syrup did not get mixed in right? Not sure. We have gotten both of the shakes before so not sure if this is just a change in how they are made or just a one off odd experience tonight? That being said the burgers were perfect and the crinkle fries hit the spot. Our order took a few more minutes to be ready so someone ran it out to our car when it was all done :)

I was able to place this online order for pick-up fairly easily, but didn't very much like the fact that I only got my text to pick up right at the time I chose in the online order. I would have wanted a text beforehand so I could have started driving to the restaurant and been there when the food was warm. So, the food had stated to cool down when I brought it to my car and then for sure cooled down a lot when I reached home because it was not packed in anything to protect it from the rain... After I warmed the 'Shroom Burger, Shake Stack, and the Shack-cago Dog in the toaster oven I felt my husband and I could enjoy the food a little more. The crispiest and our favorite part of the burgers was the fried portobello and we loved the mixed textures of crunch and smooth cheese. The bread did not hold very well and broke apart with the weight of the Shake Stack, which was unfortunate, but we were able to eat it nonetheless. On a whim I ordered the Shack-cago Dog. It was pricey, but unique. The beef hotdog was juicy and I liked that it was split and griddled crisp :) It was a true Chicago dog complete with relish, onion, cucumber, pickle and I loved the heat from the sport pepper! Ow! In true Shake Shack fashion, I also ordered a shake, a holiday one: Coconut Snowball. It was creamy, but not too thick and tasted more of vanilla than anything close to coconut (that was a bummer, since the holiday shakes cost more than the traditional offerings). All in all, a good lunch.

I asked the cashier if he could add mushrooms to my chicken sandwich and the manager jumped into the conversation being extra rude and sassy. I asked for onions I was denied that too. Pretty much the manager seemed super aggressive so I avoided him. The manager made me feel threatened by his response.

Came back and realized I left a review before. I saw the Korean BBQ burger and wanted to try it. Feel the same way I did when i left the initial review. Great Milkshakes. Everything else is meh.

The best part about Shake Shack are those crinkle-cut fries-- hot and crispy and addictive. The Shackburger was good but on the greasy side, though the Shack Stack took it to the next level with a fried portobello mushroom burger on top of a cheeseburger. More grease doesn't necessarily mean more tasty-- our table agreed that we'd probably skip the Shack Stack in the future. The chicken nuggets were alright, but definitely not the star compared to the Shackburger and crinkled-cut fries. This location is close to the Cabin John ice skating rink and there's plenty of parking. The restaurant was fairly clean, as much as you can expect from a fast food joint, and service was relatively fast. I always like how Shake Shack allows you to get your own free water cups as well.

I'm pretty shocked by the bad reviews for this place. Every time I visit this location I have a great experience. The staff are always super friendly and my order always comes out correct. The restaurant is clean and the music playlist is great too! What more could you ask for for a fast-casual spot.

First off, the food is really good. That's what you are paying for I guess, so kudos for that. But more recently they have gone to kiosks for ordering. They are thoroughly annoying, a kiosk cannot answer questions, and when the place is busy there is no one else to help out. The place is usually nice, but when it's busy, cleaning the tables doesn't happen often enough. Overall it's just better fast food.

One of my favoriteeeeeee restaurants and this location did not disappoint! Located in a busy shopping center, I assumed they would be busy but they weren't. There is a small parking lot located out front so you have to get lucky, but I believe there is more off to the side. At least the ones I've been to, the ordering area is pretty tight, but the dining area was spacious to include outside seating. We ordered our food to include the chicken minis that I never noticed they had before! Our total was $40...which is somewhat expensive but the quality of the food usually makes up for it (I promise). It was my father's first time so I let him ball out! We ordered the burger, chicken sandwich (extra mayo), fries w/cheese, chicken minis, and a chocolate shake. Our wait was about 10 minutes or so and we were given a buzzer while we wait. A favorite of mine is the speciality lemonades they have. Today was coconut mango, which I didn't try, unfortunately. Once we got our food, it looked spectacular! My father really enjoyed everything aside from the fact they definitely could've given more cheese on the cheese fries. Should've been swimming in cheese (almost). Aside from that, everything else was correct to include my extra mayo. There also was an employee or manager walking around checking in on customers and taking trays.

When Friday night rolls around, we feel like we want shake shack burger. The Shake burger is always excellent. The fries are top notch. The black and white shake is really good. The shroom burger is a big surprise and tastes a lot better than expected. I would give it five stars if they offer the option to take the cheese out...... additionally, be aware that the size of burger is a bit small...... good for portion control though. If you order there, it may take a while to get your food. We would recommend to order online or through the app.

I have never beed so dissatisfied in a restaurant as. I was here the food is greasy and fries are cold and not cook well and the shake is very thick and not blending well and the environment is not clean and casher is not inviting I will not be coming to this location anymore very disappointed

I ordered two milkshakes, one double smoke stack (sauce on the side), one shack stack, one chicken bites with bbq sauce and two fries tonight. Where so I even start.... First of all, both fries were missing! Thankfully, I looked into the bag before getting into the car and noticed they were missing, so I turned around to ask for it. When the guy gave me the food, I asked if he gave me BBQ sauce, then he put one in the bag. If I didn't ask, I wouldn't have gotten it. One I got home, my husband noticed bacon was missing in his burger and there were no sauce... My burger was fine but my shake was all melted... noted I only live 5 mins away and it's 45 degrees outside, so there is no way it melts this fast. I don't understand why they would put milk shake in the same bag as the hot food... Will I come back after spending $47 and many issues within the same order? No thank you! Never again. Advice: drive 5 mins further and get yourself a perfect burger without missing food, ingredients and a perfectly cold shake at Five Guys!

Came during opening week and I have to say I was impressed. Both the service and food were surprisingly on point. The line was to the door when I arrived at dinner time, but it move quickly. My order also came out in a timely manner and was nice and hot. Parking was easy to find. This Shake Shack is a wonderful addition to the Cabin John Village Shopping Center. I usually order the ShackBurger, but this time decided to go with the Chick'n Shack. The chicken was moist, crispy, not oily, was breaded nicely, and had good flavor to it. I also liked how the potato roll was toasted. The fries were fries, but I appreciated how they had just the right amount of salt on them. I washed both down with a chocolate shake. The shake was nice and creamy. It definitely put me over the edge, though! C enjoyed his ShackBurger, but was a little hesitant to eat it at first as it was cooked medium. Shake Shack cooks their burgers medium unless you state otherwise, so I need to remember that next time around. I love how this location donates 5% of its sales from the Pie Oh My to The Tree House, a MoCo nonprofit I volunteer for (check them out if you haven't. They do awesome work to support child victims of abuse!). I definitely have to check this concrete out on my next visit.

Food is excellent! I recall Michelle Obama stating Shake Shack was worth going off her diet. Service is well organized and welcoming. I appreciate their dairy free products. Never disappointed.

Why is there only 3 stars?? :O They are covid compliant by bringing out the food to you after you order. The service was relatively quick and everyone was nice. This was my first time eating from Shake shack and tried their Korean Inspired Chicken line. KOREAN GOCHUJANG FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH I watched a few YouTube review videos and most of them said this sandwich was dry, but the one I got was relatively moist. I agree with most people that the sandwich would be tastier if there was more coleslaw on the burger. CHICKEN BITES This was my first time having their chicken nuggets and IM IN LOVEEE. I love how crunchy these nuggets were and they weren't too salty. It came with a dipping sauce that wasn't too spicy. VANILLA BROWN SUGAR SHAKE This shake tasted just like a vanilla shake. It's missing the brown sugar flavor, wish there was more. In terms of texture, it's a standard thick, creamy milkshake. FRIES Honestly not a fan of these fries because of how mushy they are, but nonetheless they are potatoes and I will still enjoy them. I will definitely be coming back for their chicken bites!

Nothing here but great burgers! I've been here 2 times now, both occasions I ordered through the app, something you should always do because of promo codes! The service is fine and the restaurant is pretty clean. No real complaints here! You can't expect too much from a fast food joint like this. You come for an above-average tasty burger and fries and leave happy. I don't think the burgers are too greasy and the flavors you seek should be apparent. If you're not sure what to get, just go with a regular cheeseburger and fries. Their Martin's Potato Rolls buns are delicious! Again, always order through the app even if you're dining in!

People, from all over have been talking about Shake Shack and I have been stalking our local shopping center for its new restaurant location to open. Today, my efforts paid off, as I drove through the shopping center,the doors of Shake Shack opened and people were eating there. They are located in Cabin John Shopping Center. It is reasonably priced. I got a double cheeseburger and fries for about $12.00. The burger was good, but I was not a fan of the cheese. It was the kind of cheese that melts like cheese whiz. I asked for lettuce, tomato, and pickle. You have to ask for the extras when you order. There are separate counters to order and to pick up your food. They give you a buzzer when you pay for your food and you have to wait for the buzzer to buzz, so you can pick your order up. The people attending the counters were pleasant and friendly. They also have a mushroom burger, no meat, for our vegetarian friends. The fries were excellent! You can also get cheese fries or bacon and cheese fries. I will definitely try one of them on my next trip. I ran into a Yelper friend- Abigail! She said the shakes were delicious! Again, definitely on my next trip! So, if you are in the mood for a burger and a shake,there is a new place in town!

So first of all I've never been to shake Shack and it was on my list of places to try and I passed one finally!!! So upon walking in I was greeted with a smile and the young lady was very helpful and polite, because it took me a few minutes to checkout the menu. So I went with the Shake Shack burger and fries with a Cookies and Cream Shake, I figure I couldn't go wrong with that and Lady's and Gentlemen I didn't. Burger was absolutely delicious fries nice and crispy and the Shake wasn't too thick. Customer service was fantastic, the manager Mike came around and made sure everything was to our liking and everyone was just extremely nice. Kinda made me feel like I was at Ruth Chris or something lol. But I definitely love what this place is doing. I can't wait to hit this place again.

Good location of Shake Shack. Food is good as other locations. We like the burgers, hot dogs, and shakes!! Takeout can take forever tho, specially during COVID times. There is always a long line of folks waiting for their pickup and I have had to wait over 30 minutes for my food. But you can tell that the staff is working hard to get the food ready ASAP so I appreciate that effort. The good food makes up for the long wait :)

A $7 single patty cheeseburger had lettuce with brown spots. I sent it back and received another burger with lettuce that had brown spots. The worker went to the back to see if all the lettuce had brown spots; it did!

My dad, brother, and I decided to go to shake shack opening weekend and the line was out the door. We ordered the shroom burger, smoke shack burger (recommended by the guy in front of us, thank you!!), creamsicle, and the cookies and cream shake. Seating was packed but understandable for new opening. The food came out within 10-15 mins even at 6:30-7pm dinner time. The lady at the counter was really nice and asked if everything came out correctly. The shroom burger I got was juicy but not oily, cheese was perfectly packed in without dropping out, and veggies were fresh. I was able to meet Steve who was greeting customers and all around friendly face to the establishment. Saw him deal with a customer (who probably had a bad day) in a professional, respectful, and personal manner. Definitely will be coming back because 1) customer service I saw from Steve and 2) the food.

This was my first experience at Shake Shack (I know I know... I'm late), and drove about 30 minutes to get here. It was a Thursday evening during the dinner "rush" and during the COVID pandemic where indoor dining is not allowed. Since there is no indoor dining, you have to either go inside to place your order or wait outside if you ordered online. We ordered online so we were waiting outside for our food. There is one guy who runs in and out about every 30 seconds with the next orders that are ready for pickup. My only issue is that there is no particular order and while I waited my turn, others from GrubHub, UberEats, etc. kept going in front of me and THEY WERE HELPED FIRST! I'm sorry but it's cold outside - there was no sense of "hey you were here first" or "sorry man, can you wait since these people were here ahead of you?". Maybe having separate lines might help the process? To the food - we ordered two Shack Stacks, bacon cheese fries, a chocolate shake, and a black vanilla shake. The order was placed in one large paper bag. I asked where my shakes were and the guy mentioned they were in the bag. He was right... my shakes were in the same bag that my burgers and fries were. Hot + Cold = ?? They also did not give me two shack stacks. Rather we got one shack stack and one cheeseburger? It's really disappointing when the experience going there wasn't that great, and then you come home to find your order is not correct. This place/chain is WAY overpriced in my opinion. My order was $47 and we were still hungry afterwards. The food was mediocre. Honestly I don't understand the hype. The shakes were good. Probably 4/5 for a rating. I gave this place two stars because I eventually got to speak with the manager who reconciled the issue and he was genuinely apologetic. However, when you call the store, there is no live person. You have to leave a message and wait for a return phone call. That was pretty frustrating also.

I ordered 3 burgers and for 2 of them I substituted the bun for lettuce. I picked up my order and went home. When we opened the burger boxes, we were extremely disappointed that the lettuce was not fresh, it was soggy with brown spots. In addition, the garnish lettuce used made it impossible to handle the burger. We have ordered burgers from several competitors substituting the bun for lettuce (five guys, the habit burger and in-n-out burger in California) All competitors provided a fresh iceberg lettuce cut thick so it allows customers to eat a healthier version of a handheld burger. Which is delicious if done right. We are disappointed and probably will not return. The burgers were disgusting. Please review picture and see the lack of quality ingredient served to us.

Went here this past week for a pick up order of the new Korean-style burger. It was very good, although slightly on the salty side! It was very convenient to pick up as well since there was a waiting area right outside the store and a worker that was in charge of handing out mobile orders, so I didn't even need to step into the store myself!

This is a great (dog-friendly) place to come to, especially after enjoying a day at the Cabin John Dog Park just 4 min away. An employee even brought out a fresh bowl of ice water for our pup. We sat on the outdoor patio which had plenty of shade. We got the ShackBurgers, fries, and new Oreo funnel cake shake. The burgers were tender and juicy, fries were nice and crispy, and the shake was delicious and had a nice crunch to it. Can't wait to also try the new chocolate churro shake next time I come here!

At first I saw the yelp reviews and thought: how could a shake shack only have 3 stars? I've been to locations all over the country for years but I've never been so disappointed in a Shake Shack experience before. My friends agreed... we were all super hyped and the service was bad, our buns were a little soggy, the meat on our burger was over cooked and the only redeeming part of our meal was the milkshakes. This is our only local shake shack so I guess I won't be having shake shack anytime soon.

My wife ordered a cheeseburger lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions. The cashier entered it as "ShackBurger", and it came out with no pickles, no onions, smothered in some type of sauce, and mayonnaise. I ordered a simple bacon double cheeseburger, and what came out looked like someone smashed it down. Burger was over cooked, and the bacon wasn't burnt, but damn near. And the burgers are tiny! And what they call a large drink is actually medium at most establishments. And our whole experience began with a rude cashier. We told her this was our first time coming to a Shake Shack, and she only mustered up not excitement, not a smile, not even a "welcome to Shake Shack", but being rude, acted as if we were a bother, and was annoyed. Definitely didn't feel welcome, and the clientele didn't help. Never coming to this overpriced store again. SmashBurger and BGR will actually fill me up for what I pay, and they earn their tip.
