Shake Shack

If you are a Shake Shack fan the food here will not let you down. But it is a rest stop, sometimes a mad house and other times not so much. This rest stop hàs recently been renovated and it is very clean and looks great, especially if you visited before it was renovated. Safe travels.

Great burger, self checkout screen with ability to customize to your liking, recommend avocado, bacon, cherry tomatoes. Delicious, prepared fairly quick for the busy location. Thanks for a quick tasty bite.

Stopped by for lunch at the Molly Pitcher service station. Was super excited to have the Shake Shack here. Easy and fast ordering. The store counter was clean. Self-serving condominium area was fully stocked and clean as well. Staff were friendly, waited patiently for our order. Our meal was ready in few minutes. All the items had trademark Shake Shack taste. Delicious shake shack burger. Hot dog was yummy. Fries were good as usual.

5 stars because the food was good. The employees taking our order had better things to be doing than working, they made it obvious by how much they cared to be there. The other employee bringing food up to the counter was just as enthused to be working, made obvious by whispering the name on the order when setting out on the counter. Customer service was lacking, but the food made up for it. 1 star for atmosphere, because it’s a service plaza.

Visited on one of the pit stops on a weekend morning drive and the food was far from perfect. We got the veg quinoa burger and the crinkle cut fries with a hot coffee. The fries were clearly stale and reheated/refried in oil which gave it a super wierd taste. Will stick to shakes next time because that’s the only good thing on shake shack menu.

We stopped here during a road trip and had a really great experience overall. The staff was friendly and quick. The Avocado Bacon Burger (double) was absolutely top-notch — juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The cheeseburger was solid too. The only miss for us was the Avocado Bacon Chicken sandwich — it was just okay, nothing special. If you’re craving chicken, there’s a Chick-fil-A right next door that’s the better option. That said, the Shake Shack at Molly Pitcher Travel Center is a great place for a quick, satisfying burger break on the NJ Turnpike. Clean location, fast service, and quality food (just maybe not the chicken).

Awesome for being in a service area. Hamburgers are delicious. The buns are amazingly fresh. Fries are super crispy and with cheese....oh my!! The black and white shake is the best I've had.

The fries came only halfway didn’t even get a full order of fries. My grilled cheese got burned then they took the grilled cheese back made me another one gave me the cold fries again definitely not something to return to staff Very rigid
