Google
The burgers are solid—juicy, flavorful, and definitely one of the better fast food options around. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s pretty standard for an airport. The staff didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic or friendly, which took away from the experience a bit. Still, if you’re looking for a quick and satisfying bite during a layover, it gets the job done.

Google
My last meal in Denver before flying back home to the Chicago area. We do have some locations back at home but was craving a burger at the time so SS it was. I do like the fact that there's also a bar included. Pretty much the same good tasting burger and average crinkle cuts just as any location I've been to but at obviously higher airport prices. It was In-N-Out that I missed out on while visiting the Denver area, sadly we don't have those anywhere in IL and probably never will. In the high-end burger world, the Shack isn't bad at all and obvious competition to the likes of Five Guys, BurgerFi, Smashburger, Whataburger, In-N-Out, etc. In the end it's all about your taste buds.

Google
The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich from Shake Shack at Denver Airport was very good the bacon was crispy, the egg was cooked properly, and the cheese melted nicely. However, the half-and-half tea was average, and the fries weren’t anything special. Because of that, I would rate the experience a 4 out of 5. I feel like if I had tried a proper burger and the loaded fries, the overall rating might have been higher.

Google
It’s an okay spot for a quick lunch if you’re in a hurry at the airport. The burger was ok — nothing special, but it got the job done. Service was fast, which is a plus when you’re trying to catch a flight. Prices were a bit high for what you get, but that’s pretty typical for airport food.

Google
honestly, it’s a great first time trying to shake shack as a Canadian. We don’t really got it out in our country so I’d say that this was a cool experience got myself a bacon, egg and cheese and let me just say that is delicious! When it comes to atmosphere, I read a bit on the lower side like a regular fast food place not expect anything crazy no candlelight dinner at Shake shack lol but nonetheless great eats go with your friends when you’re in the Denver airport

Google
Burgers are great, avocado option made it a bit too heavy for me. Chicken burger uses real white meat, taste good Fries are not Shake Shack’s forte, it’s not bad, nothing special neither Red eye shake was good. I like trying their shakes when I travel because they get different flavour in different cities

Google
Just went here for a burger before I go to work. Even with the employee discount the prices are still atrocious but I recognize that atrocious prices for anything are in an airport’s inherent nature. I really enjoyed the smoke shack burger, and the fries were alright. The man who checked me out was really nice. If I’m ever in the mood to punish my wallet I will definitely be back for their shroom shack mushroom burger.

Google
The food was fine. The service was pretty awful. It was over an hour until closing, and they stopped serving a lot of the food "because we're closing in an hour". I get it if its 10 minutes until closing, but not over an hour. They were way more focused on pushing everyone out of the way to clean up and close down the store early than they were focused on giving good customer service. Don't bother.

Yelp
This place is constantly busy because who doesn't love Shake Shack! Unfortunately, due to it being so incredibly busy, the quality of a normal Shake Shack just isn't there. The fries are cold, the burger is greasy and under seasoned, the sauce is bland, and the portions are small. The service was friendly, helpful, and fast however, the kitchen should focus on delivering hot and fresh foods because the meal was disappointing. You can easily spend $25 for a full meal - burger, fries, and drink so it's a shame that the quality was so low. Otherwise, there was lots of seating, the tables are kept clean, and the bar connected to the restaurant is a pleasant place to spend your layover!

Yelp
Was giving Shake Shack another try after a poor experience in LA and I think they are ok. Stick to the normal items and it will usually be more simple for them to nail. I ordered the doubel cheeseburger and fries with a strawberry shake. Overall not bad but I don't think it hits my top list of a burger. You get more meat than In N' Out but I believe it still lacks something. Same for the fries, they may be more crispy but they feel like they came from the supermarket frozen section. Service was ok as the line was not too bad for me. We walked far away to get some distance from the restaurant environment though. If you go this route -- they make decent food but don't fall for new items. Get the classics... better/easier for them to deliver and better value.

Yelp
This was my first time trying shake shack, and I got the classic burger with the gluten free bun and it was so good!! They were busy and yet our food came quickly! The fries were pretty good, but the burger was the best. My husband agreed. He got the bacon avocado burger on a regular bun. We are going to go back when we fly home. Also, I am a sensitive gluten-free person and I didn't get sick. I told them it was an allergy even though I just have an intolerance. Are in a french fry and they don't share with anything breaded which is great!

Yelp
Located in B terminal of the airport, I was initially intimidated by the long line for the carry out cashiers, but they were moving through orders quickly (note that they also have a full service bar that you can walk up and have a dine-in experience with drinks). Shack Stack - This was a pretty good burger with the patty having the crispy bits of a smash burger and the breaded portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese was fried perfectly. The potato bun somehow fused with the wax paper wrapping so it was difficult to eat. Smoke Shack - Unlike the Shack Stack, the burger patty didn't have any crispy bits ringing the patty. Otherwise, the smoked bacon was crispy and added a smokey flavor to the sandwich and the chopped cherry peppers added some heat. The same complaint also applies here too-the bun somehow fused to the wax paper bag so it was hard to eat. Salted Honey Bourbon Shake - This is a featured shake that uses one shot of bourbon in the recipe so you have to be over 21 to order, and they card you. I don't really drink alcohol so the bourbon flavor was quite strong, but others loved it! I'm not sure why the wax paper fused to the buns, but other than that the food was perfect. Airport food is always going to be expensive, so be ready for that.

Yelp
First time eating at a Shake Shack, what a pleasant surprise. Our flight was delayed so we decided to try it out. Service was pretty quick considering the long line and cashier was friendly. We were able to snag a booth and relax and people watch. The Stack Shack is honestly one of the best franchise burgers I have had in a long time. I would totally come back if ever at Denver airport again.

Yelp
We had the most attentive, pleasant service from the morning bartender, Angel. Food was fast, he made sure everyone at the bar was happy and he solved everyone's issues with a sweet smile.

Yelp
Burger that makes you not want McDonald's anymore super good and juicy food super yummyyy

Yelp
This is the only Shake Shack location with a full bar and food service at the bar! There are only 12 seats at the bar, so it is often full. And when it isn't full the bartenders often go try to recruit folks from the line to come fill up empty seats. But if you can get a seat at the bar this is a fantastic option. No waiting in line, and a full bar to get your favorite beverages along the way. Admittedly, the food wasn't quite as good as the typical Shake Shack, which isn't a surprise at all considering this is an airport location. The food was still good, and the hot dog was very good, but the burger wasn't quite as good as I've had at other locations. The staff was excellent. They clearly have fun working here, were very social, and eager to provide great service. Chatting with the staff was one of the best parts of getting a seat at the bar (along with the beer, of course). I love that you can skip the line, order and eat food at the bar, and enjoy full bartender service the entire time. Whenever I have a layover in Denver, I am absolutely trying to score a seat at the bar here! If you don't get a seat at the bar you can still order drinks from the bar and sit in the dining area. You'll just have to wait in line to get your food, because you can only order food at the bar if your entire party is sitting at the bar.

Yelp
i had gotten the chick'n shack burger and crinkle cut fries. This was my first time trying shake shack and was sort of expecting it to be pretty great for fast food; the chicken seemed overly breaded for my liking, this might just be my preference. The employees were quite rude. I've worked fast food before and surely wish I hadn't tipped at the point of ordering my food. The fries were the upside. The music was blaring fast paced music-- I feel like a Karen commenting with such negativity but sheeeeeesh, let me eat in peace and quiet without having to yell just to talk to my girlfriend lol

Yelp
Second time at a Shake Shack and that's all I'll ever need to know this is a great food place! Fresh ingredients and fast service. It may a bit pricey but hey time is money, and these people don't waste a second of it.

Yelp
Surprisingly it was my first or second time checking out the food court at DIA, and that day I was craving bacon. Shake Shack is always a reliable option, so I got my usual Smoke Shack burger with fries. Service was super quick. Burger was good, but the fries were overdone and under-salted. Decent for airport food. And there's a bar! Will probably make my way to trying the other eateries in the future though... unless I want a milkshake.

Yelp
The line looked a little long but I figured it would go fast. How wrong I was! I waited in line about 30 minutes. Not exactly fast food. The burger was ok, but very small for the price. I wish I had gone to Chick-Fil-A.

Yelp
Ate and drank at the bar in terminal B. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. We were also served by Jason, but had the opposite experience than someone who complained earlier today. Better yet, prices seemed normal and not doubled for airport.

Chandra P.

Yelp
We were told we can not sit at the bar after ordering our food?!? My egg white sandwich was missing the arugula. Terrible customer service overall. Not very clean.
google avatar

Jeff L.

Yelp
Poor service for a Shake Shack, so don't expect what you would get from a non-airport location.

Yelp
Crazy expensive for fast food. Tiny burgers. My mushroom burger slipped out of the bun when I bit into it because wasn't cooked enough.

Yelp
The worst part was Jason ( he said he was the manager). Bar was mostly empty, Sat down at bar to order. Guy next me said he already ordered at counter. So in turn he assumed I had? Told us we can't sit at the bar, it's for full service customers. I told him I want full service. He asked me to walk to the end of the bar and I could get it to go? I asked how are the other patrons sitting at the bar? Then Jason said we could sit there but may have to remove us if other people come in? Did I miss the vip list?? So after that cluster duck. I ordered from the Togo line. Was a 30 min wait after ordering. Food was ok. You could see trays of cooked burgers sitting by grille. What took so long?

Yelp
Solid burger and a good shake. Better than most airport versions of their restaurant. Ate it during rush and they did a good. Job of getting all the travelers in and out.

Yelp
Very busy at terminal B in Denver airport. Ordered chicken sandwich and hotdogs. It took 25 minutes to get served and 20 minutes in line. For a shake place, they were out of shakes. Expensive and not very good food.

Vicky G.

Yelp
was looking forward to trying shake shack for the first time. veryI disappointing. service was horrible, food was underwhelming. waiting for my food I observed the person handing off the food to waiting customers. she made a mistake on three separate orders. And didn't really seem to care person who took my order was rude and careless. I tried it once, don't need to try again

John I.

Yelp
This review is for the Shake Shack in the Denver Airport Terminal B. Beware! The price they charge you is about 10% more than price on the menu. After checking my receipt I noticed the difference and pointed it out to the manager. He refunded me the difference, but made up some lame excuse about the IT department. I gave it two stars only because the food was decent.

Tim O.

Yelp
Incredibly rude. Asked where straws were and said what is wrong with you. Even Helen Keller could see them. Stay away from this place. I wish I would have read reviews before eating here as they seem universally bad. I could have avoided terrible experience. I even shake which drew my attention was sub par at best especially for high price.

Yelp
Giving a one star is reserved for locations you should not do business with. This one is just not run well. My burger sat and got cold while 1 person walked around doing other orders and getting drinks. I expect a wait but prefer to not sit there and watch my food get cold. 2 stars...they weren't rude just unorganized and I took one bite and threw it away.

Yelp
Worst customer service ever. We order food, and it takes forever. So while we wait we decide to go up to the bar and order drinks to pass the time. Bartender comes up and asks if we had ordered yet ( I was assuming he wanted to take our order) we tell him yes we ordered 30 minutes ago but we would like to order some drinks. He says we can't sit at the bar but we can walk to the end of it and order drinks and sit some where else since we ordered food from somewhere else... I explained we ordered food from shake shack thinking he assumed we brought outside food in. So we try to order drinks where we sit, he refuses and says "I'm going to have to ask you to move" I reply you can ask but I'm not moving. ( keep in mind there are 5 empty bar seats next to us. He says "I will remove you" I laugh and respond "try it". He continues to escalate the situation and move on. Sold my shares immediately, won't come back. His name was Jason and hopefully you guys can train up your staff. Food was wrong too, didn't complain cause already had issue with management and we have all seen the movie "waiting" One star is too much.
