NYC’s Dollar Pizza Slice May Be Going Extinct | Eater NY

"Sales of Shake Shack’s black truffle burger have shown customers are willing to pay a couple extra bucks for fancier ingredients, CEO Randy Garutti says, and the chain may roll out more souped-up sandwiches as a result." - Erika Adams

Shake Shack Finally Brings Decent Burgers to DFW Airport’s Terminal C | Eater Dallas

"New to DFW Airport as the brand’s first Texas airport outpost, this Terminal C location near Gate C7 brings a higher-end fast-casual burger option to a concourse otherwise dominated by typical fast-food chains. The menu features the chain’s all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and Vienna beef hot dogs (free from hormones and antibiotics), along with popular cheese fries, crinkle-cut fries, frozen custard concretes, craft beer and wine. Morning travelers can grab breakfast sandwiches with eggs, cheese and bacon or sausage, plus caffeinated brews from Stumptown Coffee Roasters. Open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., the airport opening complements nearby city-area outposts in Uptown, on Royal Lane, at Plano’s Legacy West and recent debuts in Southlake and Las Colinas." - Alaena Hostetter

The Shake Shack experience - on the go. Look, it's at the airport, so you can't have high expectations. It's chaotic, it's busy and most of the time there is nowhere to sit. But the food still hits the spot, came promptly and still stayed warm on my hike from terminal C to A. I went for the two patty classic and it was great. Just what I needed for my stopover. A gem amongst the rough of other food outlets.

If you're looking for food options at the airport, there are surely worse ways to go than Shake Shack. It's a franchise, and you can more or less know what to expect. Price is reasonable considering it's at the airport, and service was fast enough. My main sticking point comes to the food. It was all hot and freshly made which was great. Unfortunately our meals just weren't great in spite of that. I got the avocado bacon chicken, my girlfriend ordered the sausage egg breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was crazy salty, the chicken was a lot better in my opinion. With that being said, the chicken was dry and flavorless. Also all the toppings were weirdly stuffed on one end of the sandwich. In any case, I'm aware this is a fast food place in an airport. It's great relative to a lot of the other options and you likely won't leave unhappy, if only a bit underwhelmed. Fries and tots and maybe average, wouldn't recommend them.

The only thing that can redeem or save this Terminal in the Dallas Airport (travelers packed like sardines, limited seating, hustle and bustle, and stress) is this beautiful Shake Shack. It's green neon sign like a beacon of hope. That being said, it isn't perfect. They do have crispy and seasoned 🍟 fries, tasty 🍔 Burgers (always add 🥓 bacon), and even 🐥 chicken sandwiches. However, the line is long, the wait is too, and the service is so-so. They do have ♿ handicap accessible seating to the right of the vendor and a handy completed board to alert you of your hot food.

First time trying shake shack burgers and what i noticed is that the service is not friendly at all, I did not hear any Welcome words, not sure why. Food tasting was Good i can buy at here again in the future.

The staff was friendly and efficient. My double avocado burger was very good as was the Arnold Palmer. The fries were somehow overcooked but still greasy and lacked salt.

Fantastic service, especially for an airport restaurant! Good food and free refills. The staff even came around to our table offering refills on drinks (it’s fast food!!) and free samples of shakes. Also love the vegetarian options!

Shroom burger ==> where are the tomatoes? Also, they do not provide a cup of ice water! Will avoid DFW Shake Shack! Their tag line is: “For what it’s worth, It’s not complicated’. They got my order wrong, as well as the customer before me and the customer after me. lol. Over worked and underpaid employees?
