Shake Shack Little Italy

This was a great visit. We have eaten at several other locations. All were good experiences. This store we were helped by Emanuel who took our order. He was very friendly, patient and explained menu items well. Even found something perfect for our young son. Yamuna brought our food to us and she was so nice. She noticed we needed more napkins and brought some to us, along with other sauces to try. You won’t be disappointed with your visit here. I gave the atmosphere a 4/5 star because there were some guests smoking right next to us and the building which made it not awesome. They didn’t care about how close they were to us either even though there were a lot of other seats available.

Clean and pleasant inside, easy to order on the kiosk. Bathrooms (are coded) were also well-maintained. If you order at the kiosk with a table number, the staff will bring your food to you. They were kind and polite, checked on me whether I needed anything even while I was eating. I had double meat for my burger and selected "well-done" and they were kind of burnt... 😅. I think they over did it. The custard vanilla ice cream was very smooth. Enjoyed my lunch there overall. Will likely revisit to try other burger types/shakes. Oh be mindful that the Dubai chocolate shake is like 1080 calories... I had wanted to try it but will probably come with someone to share the load 😆😆. Looked delicious though!

This is one of our favorite locations. It’s never busy- we can always order right away and order online and pick up. Of course depending on the time of day, you might get the downtown traffic. The burgers are simple and tasty, great buns, good fries (and I’m not a fan of crinkle cut but these work). It’s pricey, especially for a $10 Dubai Shake that did NOT hit. I gotta say, this shake was EXTREMELY disappointing. The chocolate lining the cup doesn’t mix in with the pistachio, so it just tastes like pistachio. The shredded phyllo dough is a nice crunch on top but it soon gets soggy. It definitely needs a re-do. Other than that, we enjoy Shake Shack, it’s definitely on our rotation!

This is a great spot for fast, tasty food—whether you’re craving a burger, chicken sandwich, or even a veggie option. They’ve also got gluten-free buns and lettuce wraps, which is always a plus. I tried the Banana Pudding shake, and it was pretty good—loaded with crumbled vanilla wafers and fresh bananas. Other limited-time shakes include the Oreo Cookie Funnel Cake and Campfire S’mores—definitely worth stopping in while they’re still available! Ordering is quick and easy—they have kiosks inside, or you can order ahead online or through the app. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and out, and they even have a parking lot (a rare find in Little Italy!) It’s a solid stop for a quick, satisfying meal—and now’s a great time to go grab a shake and show some Pride! 🌈🥤💛

Great little burger restaurant in the heart of downtown San Diego, right in the middle of Little Italy. Their burgers are always a hit no matter where I go. Dubai, Houston, and San Diego. All a 5 out of 5.

The storefront is uniquely designed, with a massive, eye-catching Shake Shack sign visible from afar. While parking is challenging in this area, you can opt for nearby paid parking structures or use the conveniently located tram station within walking distance. The large sign leads into a chill patio area surrounded by greenery and plenty of outdoor dining tables, making it an ideal spot to relax. The staff was fantastic and even helped me input the promo code at the ordering kiosk. First time tasting their products. Their burgers is like swallowing the anvil of fury from Diablo, greasy, heavy, fat. Milkshakes are a nice surprise. Ordering with the tablets is the worse, very dirty and no human interaction. Shake shack should take into consideration that the highlight of the day for some people is the small talk with employees behind the counter, especially for elderly people. I wouldn't recommend this place, it is oily and dirty, better go to a local diner.

I feel like the manager does an excellent job at customer service training. The crew here is always pleasant, friendly, and clean. They're never short staffed and everyone seems to be stress free, even when busy. It's a shame restaurants dont go on field trips to learn from the pros. Highly recommend this place.

Shake shack is so nostalgic and such a good meal I randomly crave, the little Italy location is always clean with friendly staff Our food was delicious and we really enjoyed the seasonal items we got to try!

My cheeseburger was fresh and tasty, I'm glad to report that my cheeseburger was not overcooked. It was cooked just right. My fries were crispy, hot and not salty. How do you say no to crispy and fresh fries? There is indoor and outdoor seating for big and small groups. I've been to shake shack in Central Park a few times so my standards were set high. I ate at this place when it first opened and I must say this place has improved, as it shows, this place has grown and changed my foodie opinion for the better. What I enjoyed on the food experience was the easy ordering process from the kiosk was easy. The cheeseburger was fresh and not overcooked. My meal was delivered to me within 15 minutes, granted it was a Wednesday night but delivering fresh and delicious food is a process. The cheeseburger's are medium sized so if you're a hungry adult then order two burgers. You'll thank me later with a thumbs up. The parking is limited here so keep that in mind but this should not be a show stopper especially if you're with a group. There is plenty of outdoor seating, the indoors can accommodate but you'll have better luck outdoors. This place is five minutes from the airport and seven minutes from downtown via car. There is a lot of lights to get through little Italy but if you have the moxie to walk here from downtown you can rest at each stop light as you pass through Little Italy. I found the lemonade, ice tea and shakes refreshing and complement the cheeseburger burgers in the spirit of cheeseburger, fries and a drink trifecta. There are a voluminous number of restaurants to satisfy your taste buds in this area so if you're looking for food to curb your appetite and is quick then this place will check that box off or walk another six minutes and pay up at another restaurant close by. I gave this place four stars because I've had shake shack in NYC and the food is at another level there that words cannot describe. I will return to this place when the timing is right.

Shack burger double should've got the triple. All the way from Hawaii, in San Diego late night little Italy. Burger is on point here and in n out is hard to beat. Perfect all around. Can't forget about the chocolate milkshake nice and thick. Great service, good energy and vibe. Definitely a return customer lol.

Located in Little Italy, they have their own private parking lot. They are either 1 hour parking or Order Pickup. There's also meter street parking as well. You can order ahead from your phone or order inside. They have plenty of inside and outside patio seating. We ordered right at opening 10:30am on Saturday and the store was clean and already had a couple of customers. The food was made exactly how I ordered and they packed the food carefully in the bag so they don't get mushed.

Embracing the cozy rainy weather a day longer, we decided to order some dinner from shack shack. Highly recommend adding the roadside onions to your burger, it's a must! It added so much flavor to my shack burger. I also ordered a side of fries and their oreo milkshake. I made my milkshake a malt, because why not! It's literally one of the best milkshakes I've ever had! My friend ordered a smokeshack burger, which comes with bacon, along with some bacon cheesey fries. Both options looked great for any bacon lovers out there! Great place for burgers, fries, shakes, and more! Our order traveled well and was delivered pretty quickly as well.

Your OG meal- double cheeseburger with a side of fries. The fries were good, just a tad bit on the salty side and the burger was moist. Definitely next time asking for extra shake shack sauce.

Ordered the shack burger pretty good and good quality , not greasy , well cooked and buttered bun. Fries had crispy taste and good amount of seasoning. They gave us some garlic sauce which was delicious and another mustard one which was yucky .

The employees at this location are very kind and have great character. I did not come in as a customer, I was only waiting for my husband to use the restroom, and I was experiencing morning sickness symptoms in the parking lot when a very kind gentleman came up to me during his break and asked if I was ok and if I needed anything. He promptly ran inside and brought me a take out bag in case I needed to use it and a cup of water, and another nice girl came out and brought me ice chips also. This made my night! Thank you to the incredible employees!

2nd time here, and I'll give it a solid 4 stars. I wish the burger patties were a bit bigger, but I guess if you get a double, then it isn't too bad, lol. This location is in the Little Italy area of downtown San Diego with a tiny parking lot nestled on one side. If you don't luck out with a spot there, good luck on the street. There are multiple parking garages and also $12 valets scattered down India Street. The burgers here are pretty damn good. I like how they are made to order and not like a McD where they have stuff ready and sitting on the sidelines only to be cold by the time you get it. That's so lame. The freshness here can't be beat, and the fries are really good imo! The Bacon Cheese Fries have a little spice added on top to give it a smidgen of a kick. I don't think I've had a shake from here, but next time I go, I'll have to get one! There's a limited amount of seating inside, but there is also a good amount of tables outside. The service is pretty quick, and there are a few kiosks you can order at if you are paying by card. Love the burgers here, but I'd love it if they were bigger! Thanks for another great time, Shake Shack. I'll be back! ;)

We came in for a shake. Ordering is interesting. You can order on some self-serve kiosks located near the entrance. The screens really need to be cleaned hourly as they were a bit gross. Once you order, you select a number by picking up one of the numbered metal markers scattered around the terminal. Never saw this anywhere before but I suppose it works. FYI - bathrooms are locked and you have to enter a code (10-20-30 I believe).

Shake shack is always amazing! The people who work there are so nice and the food is top notch!

Not the best but convenient location and better than burger lounge; lettuce wrapped burgers hold decently well

I wasn't extremely impressed with the food. While the burger wasn't bad the overall quality and size wasn't great. It's a bit pricey for a small burger. There's nothing that makes this place stand out amongst all the other burger places. The only cool thing I can say is that you can self order an pay. No waiting in line.

This was my first visit to a Shake Shake. I watched a specula on Shake Shake on YouTube hosted by Jolly. They really liked the burger, fries and shakes. I ordered the Shake Burger, bacon cheese fries and a Root Beer float. The employees were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The burger was rather small but tasted good. The Krinkle cut fries were okay, but were a frozen product. The float was good and made with vanilla ice cream. The burger was a little bigger than a slider and not what I saw on the Jolly show I watched. Parking is limited and there was mentally ill and homeless wandering around the business.

I had no idea there was a shake shack near me!! My co-worker and me decided to grab lunch together and she suggested to get shake shack. We walked from the waterfront front park and it was about a 8 min walk! Not bad at all and you get to enjoy the scenery around downtown - little Italy area. We did pick up so when we walked in the food was ready for us to pickup and we decided to eat outside where there is outside seating. The portion of my double beef patty burger was sooo good. I also love their sauce!! I paid extra just so I can eat more of it lol. The avocado was fresh and delicious with my burger.. I also ordered a gluten free bun and it was perfect for me since I can't eat gluten much... the bun didn't taste much of a difference to a regular bun!! Sometimes GF bread is heard / dry, but I noticed Shake Shack makes bomb GF buns!! The staff here are SOO sweet and friendly! Literally, my co-worker was coughing a lot and the staff told her she's CPR certified. It was the nicest thing to show her concern. There is a lot of seating here!! Outdoors is def more spacious.

Shake shack. If you have tried one you have tried them all. Except the one located in the Salt Lake City airport which is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. This location had good timely service and was fresh. Good burger, but if you get a burger, fries and, soda are spending about $25

Guys, Run don't walk to get their Chicken Shack sando. I try to avoid chain restaurants, but I was proven wrong by this one. First, it's super easy and seamless to order ahead of time and pick up which I love. Second, the sandwiches were so good that my partner and I inhaled them without even muttering a word to each other. 100 percent would go back again and again. Perfect for comfort food on the go!

Need to change another manager. He is suck and won't let us eat in the car. Says we have to activively eating in the restaurant to park the car. And he is being a dickhead to my 80 years old grandma.

this place was BOMB!!! the food was amazing!!! the staff was sooo nice and helpful and everything was YUM!! the only problem was the parking was not that much it was very limited. but other than that, we were greeted and welcomed right away!! definitely recommend this place for sure! and you dont have to drive all the way to vegas! hahaha there was a kiosk there that u can order and that was pretty cool! it wasnt that many people waiting there and we got our food pretty fast! cant wait to come back here again!!

I'm so glad that there is a shake shack in little Italy! This is also one of the few restaurants that has a large parking lot. The food here is great and the ingredients are so quality. One thing that's a bit of a bummer, is it's expensive for fast food, but again quality ingredients. The staff are so friendly at this location. Lastly, they have a huge outdoor patio so you can enjoy both indoors and outdoors.

Shake Shack is one of my favorite fast food chains. Their burger buns and sauce are to die for. They have a lot of seasonal items that I wish were year round. It was my first time coming to this location and I was worried about parking but they actually have their own little parking lot which is nice!

We came on a Friday night with a curbside order and they were pretty fast! The manager and staff were also very nice and friendly. They honored an online coupon I forgot to enter while ordering. It really made our evening! They also have a mini parking lot. Thanks!

Ate here for the first time. The coworkers decided to go out for lunch and picked this place so I gave it a shot since I've never been. I ordered using one of their kiosk which are located near the entrance. Marilyn (sorry if I misspelled) was kind and helped me with the kiosk and their menu. When my food was brought to the table, I noticed that they gave me the regular fries so I told them and they quickly fixed the order. I had their avocado bacon burger and spicy cheese fries. They were delicious. I'd come here again to try their other items on the menu. The variety of lemonade drinks and chicken sandwiches they offer looks tasty. The restaurant was clean and it was fairly quiet so my coworkers and I were able to chat. There's plenty of seating inside and out.

Mouth watering crispy chicken shack sandwich with a cool refreshing shake. Was the perfect place to get lunch at from work. The service was quick and smooth and the ambiance was very casual and chill. Wished they offered combos though instead of each item being charged.

We have been to this place three times. It has a great location with a parking lot! Incredible customer service with good food! They change their drink flavors frequently and they usually are great! They take their business seriously, the place is clean and staff is really friendly, there was one time they even changed the TV to a basketball game that we wanted to watch, that was really sweet of them. However, the food is a little pricey, not a big selection on their menu and the size of their burger is pretty small. But they all taste amazing and they do provide alcohol! They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas, they also have ordering machines to shorten the waiting line.

Excellent burgers and the mushroom combo is outstanding. Employees are great and informed. Have tried a few things on the menu but burgers are the standouts. Fries are so-so, custard is not like back east custard. If you want a good burger, hold the lettuce as it wilts horribly.

The good: existence of a small parking lot, the fries were great and the iced tea brewed to perfection. Staff friendly and helpful. The not-so-good: burgers, while tasty, are very small. Probably didn't need any more than that, but it was my first time there and my husband and I were pretty shocked at how small they were. Thought we ordered sliders. Also, be careful when dining here; staff had to chase away someone who clearly was not well and making questionable comments towards patrons.

What do you think of when you think of frozen custard and coffee shakes which has real coffee that is added in and the creation of many more deserts that most people would only see if you're in New York or New Jersy. The many hamburgers and the sandwiches that you find at the restaurant and the many hotdogs they have on the menu. When you take a walk through the Gaslamp and the Inner areas of the Little Italy you find there is much more than the regular restaurants that are from Dennys and the Broken Yolk you find those that have dishes that that are the best around and the ones that have the best sauces around. For many places that have the store front areas and the ones that you can eat outside you come across the Shake Shack that has all the many dishes that you can find in one restaurant. The time that I had attended it was one day of the weekend to see how the restaurant operates on the weekday to see when I had arrived the restaurant had very few people at the restaurant and the outside dinning had just a few enjoying outside dinning. Seeing the many places of little that I had found the area that had a very small parking area and the many places and the many places that are near by the location. The shake shack has the atmosphere of a 1970s drive in and the many dishes they have the barbecue burgers and the hotdogs, and the chicken sandwiches of the many flavors are homemade and the great use of whole wheat fresh baked buns. The burgers of the shake shack are some of the best double burgers and the homemade barbecue sauce served with the best French Fries with cheddar cheese. To find a great place with great food and having the best shakes with real coffee that is better than anything you can get from Mc Donalds. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer, the many dishes the Shake Shack has some of the best dishes to come and enjoy the food that you can find that is not Italian and get to taste frozen custard and some of the best drinks they have. And have a great place that serves French Fries with cheese and other toppings that you can enjoy the food from the Shake Shack brings back the feelings of the 1970s.

Nothing more than overpriced fast food. You get very little for a whole lot. The ambience is impersonal and you're just another person, not a customer. I saw Shake Shack advertised while I was watching a Padres game (I think) so I thought I would try it. Once was enough. $40.00+ for a burger, chicken sandwich, "cheese" fries and two beverages. Parking SUCKS! I parked in the App. Only parking space and I make no apology for it.

Food is good but the 6 piece chicken bites are ridiculously small. Even my kid got disappointed when he open the box.

I can never look at in-n-out the same after coming here. The food is always hot & fresh, super friendly staff, and a great location. One of my favorite burger places!

It's called shake shack for a good reason After visiting three different locations, I figured out that the shakes are the ticket item at this restaurant! The tiramisu shake is on point as well as the vanilla The location itself is nice and cozy but with plenty of space for many people. The service was OK but at the end of the day it's about the food. Grab a shake to fulfill that shake craving you may have!

Overall shake shack food is very consistent and tasty. There are a few way of ordering here, you could go and do it the old fashioned way and walk up to a cashier and put in your order or there's the new way of ordering at the machines. I tend to do my ordering at the machine because I get to take my time and decide what I would like. Everything here is very organized. From the way they take your order to how the food is delivered. They have a very consistent way of doing things through all their locations. Even staff is trained well and is friendly and always there to help. This location is very nice and clean. Whenever I come here I usually get the classic go to shack Burger or sometimes I'm feeling the smoke stack. You can tell from the taste the meat is very high quality and is seasoned well. The meat is always the star of the burger. The flavors of the smokes sack mixes very well with the beefiness of the burger. Shake shack has probably one of the best mainstream Burger around. Food comes out relatively quick which is an added bonus.

Stopped by to get a burger, but this location appears to be closed. I like Shake Shack, so I was a bit disappointed to have walked all the way only to find out when I got there.

It's was very easy to get parking inside there parking lot it's small but we found a parking stall. I ordered to go it was quick and on our way home we can go in the car pool Yes!! A quick ride home to enjoy these cheese burgers Shake shack is good. I thought the cheese burgers were small nope it was perfect for us and we all enjoyed it. I asked for pickles on the burgers only perfect. The Shakes were very sweet and delicious too. I ordered the Black Sugar Shake I shared it and we were very satisfied. With this Shake I haven't had a shake in a long long time. But I'm glad I did it was a great flavor. I'd have it again The other was the Brownie Hot Chocolate that was a Ghraridelli chocolate fudge if you want a chocolate dream it the one. It has more chocolate an tiny marshmallows on top of the whip cream and chocolate powder They make a good burger & Shake!! 3 cheese burgers 1 Shroomburgers 4 fries 2 Shakes We loved the cheese burgers & Shroombuger I couldn't finish all my fries it's okay. Until next visit Shake shack next time I've always loved a good burger and this was Good Friday night Here in Little Italy.

Never been to a Shake Shack before, Never will go to one again....Overpriced small little hamburgers with avocado and something that tastes like chicken...Small order of french fries and lazy cheese fries....my kids liked the shakes, but that was it...$90 for some mediocre hamburgers and crappy fries? And to add insult to injury....NO MEALS?? EVERYTHING IS SOLD SEPERATELY!! Definitely not worth it. Their large drinks are the size of a McDonalds medium! Only reason they get one star, is because they have their own parking lot....and even then, you have to navigate through homeless and garbage to get to their front door. It's still a mission to get there... Won't be coming back to this location, or any shake shack location, ever.... Thanks for nothing, we had to stop by McDonalds on our way home, because we didn't even get full here...All bad...

Staff is very kind and welcoming. They are happy to assist with anything you need. I don't like smash burgers very much, however, this is the only chain I will get one from. Absolutely delicious and fresh!

Located in Little Italy this Shake Shack serves some great burgers in a beautiful environment with great customer service. I downloaded the App and went ahead and placed a order through my phone and It was simple and to the point! I went ahead and ordered a double Shake shack burger with cheese and added bacon to it with with a lettuce wrap. I ordered for pickup and the app notification let me know when it was ready. As soon as my phone alerted me that my meal was done I headed up to the counter and told her my name. Within minutes a nice beautiful sack was before my eyes and handed to me. The burger was nicely wrapped in paper to hold for easy eating and the lettuce had a nice green vibrant vibe to it while the fresh tomatoes and pickles , white onions were just slightly hanging off the burger. The burger was piping hot and full of flavor while all the condiments accommodated it very well. The beef quality was superb and was full of juices and flavor and the cheese just made everything better. I'm looking forward to come back to this location soon and try out there cheese fries, hot dogs, and spicy chicken sandwiches! Overall I had a nice quick meal and was very pleased.

I recently moved to a new location and was happy to find that there was a Shake Shack nearby. I'd forgotten just how much I love their food! Their burgers are juicy and flavorful, and I love the crinkle-cut fries and the thick, creamy shakes. But the best thing about Shake Shack is that they're consistently good. No matter where you go, you can always count on getting a great meal. The staff at Shake Shack is also very friendly and welcoming. On my most recent visit the staff was happy to chat with me and make recommendations. If you're in the mood for a great burger, fries, and shake, then I highly recommend Shake Shack. You won't be disappointed.

Best burger is mushroom burger It was so good i looked up the calories. Of course, nothing that great is low cal, but worth it. Chicken nuggets are super good too. Plus milk shakes and wine. AND a parking lot in little Italy !!!

Love it here. We've eaten in restaurant and the food is amazing but we order delivery more often. Recently ordered via app and called to request a side of herb mayo for my fries and extra coleslaw for my spicy chicken sandwich. I spoke to Aurora on the phone and she was so sweet and assured me they would both be there. They were. Food is always packaged well and warm when it arrives. Their packing is well done and feels very safety focused. And of course, the food is cooked to perfection. Their chicken sandwiches are so, so good.

3 stars without the nasty chicken sandwich. You ever go to a fast food joint and see the "New Steakhouse Burgers"? Where the "Steakhouse" basically equates to a slightly thicker patty, an upgraded bun, and the only fresh toppings in the building...cue Shack Shack. I can't believe people put this spot up against the SoCal King of burgers INO. But I digress. This place seemed like a straight mash-up of a number of other "ok" fast food establishments. Pros: The packaging. The take-out packaging was very well put together in all aspects. The design, the quality, it was top notch for a fast food joint. The Pickles. My favorite thing about their sandwiches was the pickles. They were large, fresh, and thick-cut. The crinkle cut fries were crisp and had a nice seasoning. They were my favorite part of the meal. Cons: The chicken sandwich patty was just plain terrible and half the size of the bun. The batter looked nice and had promise but the chicken itself was a sponge. The sandos are really small in size. The burger was bigger than the tiny chicken sandwich but it was still pretty small (1/4 lb of meat but it still fits in your palm). If not for the burger, which had crisp, fresh toppings but a greasy, Wendy's-like, slightly appealing fast food taste to it, they would've gotten two stars or worse. Expectations definitely played a part, but I was disappointed. It's a no from me dawg.

We were in the area and decided to try this spot. In all honesty to sum it up, I rather have in n out. The spot is nice and clean, however not worth the money for these burgers. I tried the shake shack and it's just an overly fried burger. I had to remove the fried mushroom just to get through the burger. The fries are not fresh and taste like frozen and deep fried. Not sure what the hype is about this place. If you're into fried burgers this might be your spot, not it for me.

It pains me to write this, but customers beware of this location especially if you have something specific on the menu in mind. I walked by the other day and saw their advertisement for a new bourbon bacon cheddar burger (photo below), which says sneak peek, in itself is ambiguous AF. Does that mean it's coming in the future at some point...I feel like I'm in a movie when the previews are showing with this terminology. Moving on.... Ok, so I am leaving work this evening, and walk by and decide I am going to ask. I ask the person at the counter if they have this, and she confirms with the manager that indeed they do. OK! Great! Mind you, there is no one in line to order, well, actually they have you order on the kiosk in you're paying with a CC. I go outside to call my gf and get her order and I am back within literally 45 seconds, and no one has come in to order in between because I am standing right out front. I go back to order and for heavens sake, they're suddenly out of this burger, yet the sign is still sitting outside. Ok, I get it, but not really. I'll get the shake stack instead and garlic truffle fries. "Sorry, we are out of garlic truffle fries." Ok, I'll get the bacon cheddar fries (SOS). "Sorry, we're out of the bacon cheddar fries." Cheddar fries!??? "Nope." You've gotta be kidding me. Dude, you have twenty items on your menu, the GD inventory manager needs to be fired yesterday. If there is absolutely anything missing, and/or wrong with my order when I get home to eat it, believe you me, I am coming right back to take away another star. I hate giving shitty reviews, but honestly, I will NEVER be back to this shake shack. These must be franchised because Del Mar is great!

I have never really felt the need to try out Shake Shack until this COVID lockdown robbed me of all the other places on my long list of restaurants to try stuffing my face. Well despite the lockdown my face continues to need to be stuffed full of food and booze but the options are much more limited. Still when there is adversity life... life finds a way.. and I too find a way to make sure I won't fit into any of my old clothes. Enter Shake Shack. When you show up, they have a table set up in the parking lot. You can order online or through various delivery apps. You can also order right at the table. Which is what I ended up doing. Ordering at the table made me feel a little like a grandma. Not even sure why, maybe it's my now uncolored grey stripe growing in (seriously I'm like Pepe le Pew... one stripe)... maybe it was watching everyone else just come up and grab their food cuz they had used the magic of the World Wide Web (aka dubya, dubya, dubya)... maybe I have been spending too much time alone... My food came out pretty fast and was packaged really well. In fact, I am sure packaging is a drain on the bottom line. Still I appreciated not worrying about my food as I walked it to a dark corner to devour it like a wolf with its prey... Shroom Burger: The top billed star of this show is a portobello mushroom stuffed with melted cheese, battered and deep fried. Right when I took my first bite the melted cheese kinda shot out. So, be ready for that! The bun actually steals the show. It's spongy and sweet, like if a new relationship was a bun. All soft and pleasant! I'd say as a whole it's better than a lot of fast food veggie burgers. It's also a nice change from the usual black bean burger vegetarians get saddled with. I asked them to add pickles and they didn't do it. So that was kinda sad. French Fries: I got them well done, although they didn't seem to be fried more than fried should be usually. The portion size is more than fair and I like crinkle cut fries from time to time. They were perfectly salted! I asked for a side of BBQ sauce and was happy to see that their sides of sauce are really big! The BBQ sauce is pretty sweet but it did make my meal even better! They only gave me two ketchup packets so... if you want a lot make sure you double check. I'd say overall it's akin to in and out but more fancy. I can't speak to the meat options. It's far more spendy but it was something good and different. We could all use some of that right about now right?
