"I enjoy Shake Shack as well; I even asked its founder Danny Meyer point-blank what he thought about In-N-Out, and he grimaced and deflected the question." - Eater Staff

Bunch of kids in charge, working in the kitchen, mostly talking. Ordered the smash burgers with cheese. The burgers came out warm, looks like it was sitting in the back for a while. The patty had a old meat smell. The buns are sticky that sticks in the back of your throat.

This was my first time visiting this chain restaurant.Ordered in single patty Shacburger. The burger quality and taste is good, but it feels that it is lacking something, maybe some extra salt and pepper. The patties were grilled to perfect. Veggies added are fresh and noticeable.

This was my first time eating Shake Shack, and the truth is I had high expectations that weren’t met. The burgers were good but not exceptional, were a little small considering the price. I believe I kike the fries better than the burgers. The one thing I liked is how they adapt to the Mexican customs and have many toppings and dressing to give your burger the Mexican touch.

So delicious and satisfying. Excellent service. We sat outside and it was such a lovely night. Excellent location. Very clean and sanitizing wipes available, as well as hand sanitizers. Good ol' American juicy yummy burger!! May have been THE best burger I have ever tasted. #completesatisfaction #localguide

Tired of hotel breakfast, and found this place just next block. First time trying breakfast. It's good. Self order menu has no English which is challenging

Google
I had the shroom burger It was really expensive and its a big fried mushroom , the mushroom wqs nice and fried but The cheese on the mushroom burger was very artificial My friends had normal burger and they liked it We also got cheese fries which was full of this artificial cheese The main problem I think with the cheese I thought it would be better quality for what we paid

Google
They had made batches of Crinkle Cut Fries and had them in trays on the shelf. The ones we were served had been there a few minutes. Were warm but not hot, which was disappointing. Shake Shacks are expensive and overpriced around the World, so when I pay top dollar, I expect my food to be near perfect - it wasn't. Double Burger with Bacon (con Tocino) - geo-cultura difference: no Gherkins (Pickles), but diced Red pequino peppers. Was Ok, but Not for me.I did however, like the Mexican Exclusive shake - 'Malteada de Horchata'. Amazing.

Google
Not the best hamburgers to eat in Mexico City that's a fact. Medium-Small sized but the flavor is good (3/5). High prices.

Yelp
I had never visited shake shack before. It isn't what I expected! The food looked very good. I was in a hurry so I ordered a 6 piece chicken bites with honey mustard sauce and a zero cal sprite. The chicken is very light and crispy. Think tempura batter not KFC or Macdonald nuggets. Free refills on the drinks. Honestly I'm going back to try the burgers. I watched the other orders and they looked delicious. Place was very clean and they also serve beer if you are feel that you want to have one. I had another appointment afterwards so I didn't want to smell like alcohol at 3 in the afternoon. Diet food it isn't; but, it's very good fast food.

Yelp
I just had a great burger that was actually delicious and served hot. Burger and a coke helped me solve altitude sickness. I recommend this place for sure

Yelp
Great experience at the Shack Shack Mexico City! We stayed at the Sheraton Marie Isabel and had the horchata shake and Quintonil burger. They both didn't disappoint! I especially loved the Quintonil burger and appreciated it more after eating there the previous night. Great collaboration! Would definitely recommend trying this Shake Shack out!

Yelp
Me encanto la hamburgesa, les quedo muy bien. La carne muy jugosa. Espero que vuelva a ir pronto.

Yelp
I dreaded my first experience at a Shake Shack given the long line in Madison Square Park in NYC. Seeing the line here upon grand opening in Mexico City brought back those horrible memories. I felt bad for all those silly people waiting for an okay burger and shake and those sad, frozen tasteless wavy fries. But, I'm all about second chances and my experience at MSP was from years prior. I let the crowd die down after few weeks and got here early enough during the week before the Mexican lunch crowd hit. I still waited about 10 minutes to order despite a fairly short line and a packed interior. The 5 or 6 tables outside were also all occupied. Knowing the fries were going to still suck, I stuck to the burger and vanilla shake and let me coworker lend me some fries. My lingering suspicions about the fries were confirmed but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the burger and the shake. Not at all what I recalled or what I was expecting. Still, I'm at 3 stars because despite not ordering fries, a double burger and a shake still cost me $14 US, in Mexico, where the minimum wage is $5/day. And if you're a burger place that can't serve hand cut fries - which doesn't really involve that much labor to deliver a far more quality product- you don't really deserve 4 stars in my view. Certainly not 5. But I'll be back.

Yelp
Got the special shake for Mexico which is the horchata malteada and wow! Exactly what I thought it would taste like... heaven!!! Stopped in and staff was super friendly. Waited about 10 mins for my shake as it was packed at 10pm on a Saturday. Plenty of seating indoors and outside. Loud vibrant crowd at this time at night

Yelp
Me encanto!

Yelp
If you are staying at the Sheraton Maria Isabel, you are in luck because Shake Shack is right next door. If you are craving an American burger, well Shake Shack has that and more. I kept starring at their signage for "concretes." I thought maybe that was a term in Spanish that I didn't know about, but actually, a Shake Shack "concrete" is merely a dense frozen custard blended with toppings and mix-ins which can also be found in USA locations also. I ordered a variety of items including the shake shack double burger, fries with no salt, and their hot dog with beef. I was pretty hungry, so the double beef patty filled me up. The hot dog with beef was decent, but I bet the hot dog stand down the street would have tasted better. The fries were overcooked and cold. They really need to work on their preparation of the fries. The pricing of the food is analogous to the stores in the USA.

Yelp
In my recent visit to Mexico City...my son just had to have a burger. We came to this place and I was absolutely not impressed. It is expensive for the portion size, the food is average, and it's difficult to get a refill on your drink. I will say the the staff is super polite and very-very attentive. After this visit the The Shake Shack I will reserve my palate for a good ol' American hamburger back in the states. Crazy fact the rest rooms are very filthy for its location, very small (made me feel claustrophobic) and apparently it's unisex....a woman was in the stall next to me. It's a good thing I suppose but a bit uncomfortable if you must really go and a mouse can hear you pass gas. In my opinion...this place is not on my "return" list!

Yelp
Excellent! Great service, great food. Very consistent with other locations around the world.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of Shake Shack! This isn't the best ShackBurger that I have had, but it's still pretty good. I think the burger could've been better with a little more seasoning. The fries are absolutely delicious, though. They have a horchata shake that is sold exclusively at this location. Of course they have Mexican beers like Modelo in the can. They also sell Abita Root Beer which to me is really cool.

Yelp
Shake shack is exactly as awesome as the ones in other country. Standard menu I guess. The special one was the CDMX shake that is only for Mexico, was ok but I'd prefer a normal shake.

Yelp
Tried these cheeseburgers today, definitely worth the trip, price a little steep but you get what you pay for. Probably the best but burger in Cdmx from the places I've been to, i still have a sweet spot for in and out dbl dbl animal style but this is close.

Yelp
The wait time is long, but they give out umbrellas to block the sun. I arrived at 12:30 and had to wait about 45 minutes to order. After I ordered my food was ready in about 5 minutes. The fries were sitting out, I didn't like that. The burger and shake were amazing.

Christina A.

Yelp
Great food, friendly staff. Dining area was very clean. Process for food ordering and pick up was very organized. The burgers melt in your mouth and the toppings are fresh.

Yelp
one of my favorite fast food restaurants. The food is really good and nothing bad to say about the staff. If you're looking for an American fast food I would definitely recommend this place.
