If you are staying at the Sheraton Maria Isabel, you are in luck because Shake Shack is right next door. If you are craving an American burger, well Shake Shack has that and more. I kept starring at their signage for "concretes." I thought maybe that was a term in Spanish that I didn't know about, but actually, a Shake Shack "concrete" is merely a dense frozen custard blended with toppings and mix-ins which can also be found in USA locations also.
I ordered a variety of items including the shake shack double burger, fries with no salt, and their hot dog with beef. I was pretty hungry, so the double beef patty filled me up. The hot dog with beef was decent, but I bet the hot dog stand down the street would have tasted better. The fries were overcooked and cold. They really need to work on their preparation of the fries.
The pricing of the food is analogous to the stores in the USA.
