Shake Shack

I just had the funniest experience with them… they gave me the wrong burger. Twice… I’m glad I chose to dine in so I notice I didn’t get what I ordered. Usually I wouldn’t make a fuss about it and will stick with the wrong burger, but this time someone specifically required “no bun”… So I went back and since I only notice they gave me the wrong item after I dug in my fries they couldn’t take it back, they re-made the whole order for me. I mean I understand they were very busy and I still think it is very nice of them to offer re-making the whole meal. But the second time I got another wrong burger…. As you can probably see in the picture, I ordered a double shack something burger, and this time they gave me something with bacon and fried onion and diced red peppers😂 Mind you in both cases they had my name printed on that little piece of paper and had it stick on the bag, and they clearly called out my name, so I definitely didn’t take someone else’s bag.. So… i ended up with two whole meals - two cheese fries with bacon, and two burgers (non of them is mine😂) I don’t want to leave with another burger and fries so I chose no to go back and make them redo again. That’s the end of today’s story. A huge apologize to the person who actually ordered their burger with onion, bacon, and peppers. I ate your burger. It tastes alright. And I sincerely hope you don’t mind having the double shack… Aa for the person who ordered the “no bun” burger. I saw the lady left with her correct item after I caught their first mistake. But I apologize for kept you waiting.

This Shake Shack is decent. The food is good, like all Shake Shacks, and the employees were amazing. The only downside was that it took about 20 minutes for a cheeseburger and fries. It's still a good option for food in the New Baltimore Service Area.

A very good service area . Has some really good shops - and one of my fav is shake shack . Really awesome shakes ! I always love their strawberry shakes ! It’s thick and full of sugar and tastes so good . Service was good . When we went it wasn’t too crowded and they were able to give my order in less than 5 mins . Tried their chicken shack and it was ok . Food can be better . Overall a good experience ..

Why even bother being open till 10 when your kitchen shuts down at 9:30. The girl at the register pretended you guys didn’t have bacon meanwhile, I see a whole tray of bacon sitting above the fries. She also said you had no cheese sauce because they already cleaned it out and there was no milkshakes. How are you gonna be called Shake shack and not have milkshakes a half hour before you close your service is terrible. Get some actual decent employees at this location and maybe I’ll try Shake shack again. Maybe next time they’ll have shakes.

Waited for 15mins. No greeting, no saying we'll be right with you. Ended up going to Chick Fil A and still got my food faster than the customers waiting at shake shack

The food was quite good and well presented, although the smash patty is so thin that a double burger probably only has 3 ounces of meat. The service at this location was excruciatingly slow. And Princess Disinterestra behind the register was almost catatonic with depression and probably wouldn't win Employee of the Month at a Zombie convention.

Never had anything from here but I heard good things about it so I try it. Food was cold, bun just basically thrown on a bag with a patty🙄 definitely terrible experience all around

Restaurant was under staffed and employees looked over whelmed. The burger was slightly uncooked and the fries were cold. Staff was friendly yet wearing many hats at once.

No cheese fries. I've never been to a shake shack where they didn't have cheese fries. The story was there was only one person who could make them and he had not come in yet to work... I literally go to shake shack primarily for the cheese fries lol. There's are my favorite so that was disappointing. We did get the classics as well. Double shack burger and veggie burger but hard to appreciate those when I cannot order the one item I came in for - cheese fries lol.

Shake Shack is always a solid choice. Having them in the newly renovated rest stops on the NY Thruway is a huge improvement over the tired McDonald's and BK locations they've had over the past few decades. The women behind the counter were friendly, the space was clean, line moved quickly and the product was typical of a free standing store. The expected captive audience upcharge was certainly present but not awful. As far as rest stops go, this is just about as good as it gets.

What a prank SS, like the quality of your burnt and over salted burger. Couldn't expect less of your overworked employees.
