Shake Shack Round Rock

A great fast food place with plenty of seating, and actually fast service. A good choice if you’re a vegetarian and in the mood for a burger - two options to pick from, which is one (or even two) options more than most fast food places have to offer. Most indoor tables were clean while most outdoor tables were OK, but there were a lot of flies outside, but that could just be because of the summer season.

This was my first time trying Shake Shack. I tried the Halloween Day ‘Spooky’ special (Double Shack BOGO). The drive thru attendant didn’t know about the special so ordering wasn’t a breeze but not a deal breaker. I was first in line at 12:30 and my order took about 5 minutes. The smashed meat was perfectly cooked with a crisp outer ring. The burger flavor was good, and the fries were tasty too (not greasy or too salty which I appreciate). My stomach didn’t hurt after eating (like most fast food burgers do) but the bottom of the bun looked ‘mishandled’ making it appear as if already bitten into which was off-putting. Overall good burger.🍔

Absolutely blown away by Terrance, Luis, and the rest of the team! We arrived shortly before the rush but it didn’t phase the team - they were on it! The restaurant was clean, condiment station was organized, bathrooms were impeccable, and the overall environment was very pleasant. One of my favorite locations!! 10/10 DEFINITELY recommend

Service was fast and friendly! Manager was friendly. Food was tasty. The burgers seem to melt in your mouth. Seating is medium sized, but not crowded so seating was plenty and clean. Small parking lot due to location, but plenty of spaces during my dinner visits. I do recommend.

One of the Best Burgers Ever! Shake Shack never disappoints, but the Shack Stack is on another level! The crispy fried portobello stacked on a juicy cheeseburger is pure perfection. I always add fried pickles on the side — they’re crunchy, tangy, and addictive. Every bite is bursting with flavor. The quality is always top-notch, and the service is fast and friendly. Definitely one of my favorite burger spots!

Wow! I never thought I’d say this, but I think I finally found a restaurant that beats Chick-fil-A’s service. From the moment I walked in, the staff at Shake Shack was beyond outstanding—friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure my order was perfect and that I had everything I needed. They kept checking in to see if we needed anything, and all of the staff, including the manager, truly understand what customer service is. And the food? Absolutely amazing! The burgers were juicy and full of flavor, the crinkle-cut fries were crispy perfection, and don’t even get me started on the shakes—pure heaven in a cup. If you’re looking for top-tier customer service AND next-level deliciousness, Shake Shack is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back! 🔥

For $35 my daughter and I ordered 2 burgers, an order of onion rings, a "shake", and a drink. What we got, 2 sliders, 5 onion rings, and an ice-cream cup, and a drink. Prepare to be unsatisfied and still hungry.

My wife loves a gift card and shake shack had issued my wife two $10 credits on the app due to her birthday credit not being issued at the time of her birthday. We arrived around 6pm and the Atmosphere set to night mode with it being dark at 5pm now. The lighting was nice outside. Since we have to order from the app we sit down and start that process. The app requires us to make the order using the credits that we do two transactions. The app has a restriction for one order at a time. No biggie we ordered the single truffle Burger and the parmesan fries on the first order. We waited for 10 minutes and then the order said it was ready so we proceeded to the counter. Once at the counter manager searched for our order and saw that it had just come into the system is what I was told. Went ahead and was told that it would be another 3 minutes and so went back and sat down. At this point we could not start the next order because even though the order said what it was completed, nothing had changed on the app. After a couple minutes, name was called and went and retrieved the first order. I get back and proceed to take my pictures at which time the app still had not released first order. It took about 10 minutes for the order to finally cycle out and allow for a second order to take place. This is not the fault of the restaurant, but I definitely want to bring it to the attention of anybody using the app. Proceeded to order the second burger. The double truffle Burger with the pineapple kiwi lemonade. The burgers where good and crispy edges. The double was warm in the middle but the singled had cooled but then. The single was slapped together in haste and it shows with the condiments placings and amount. The double had better consistency with how it was put together. Fry's had a good Parmesan truffle topping. The bottle was okay but the Fry's had to be the most disappointing. The butter would of better been a topping that was drizzled on at a thinner consistency. The pineapple and kiwi lemonade was definitely the highlight of the food. You do get free refills and it was pretty awesome that that is a thing here because this is definitely really good. The chunks in the lemonade were a mix of the fruits which was very nice and consistent. This location offers a community discount for people who are teachers, veterans and local first responders. Free parking Driveway off the Access road. Be careful not to overshoot

Great time to go when they aren't busy 2pm-4:30pm. Inside restaurant was cleaned. The condiments didnt have the paper cups to get ketchup so I had to ask for those to be refilled. Each item has to be ordered separately. There is NO combo/combination meal unless you are ordering large catering box for a team, party, or event. So this isn't a fancy place, but the prices sure do make you feel like it is or should be a fancy place. 3 (double meat cheese burgers) 1 (crispy chicken sandwich) 3 large drinks 1 milkshake 1 fried pickles 2 cheese fries 11 items total = $80. Pictures provider. Food was fresh and tasted delicious, but I because if the price I wouldn't recommend because of the price and kept having to keep asking for ideas to me.

I didn't realize the parking lot was on the back. It always looked so empty.. glad to know it was bc I was looking at the back! Love my burger and fries. Fries were tasty and warm... it's definitely come back. It does take a minute... after ordering on the kiosk your food is made to order but delish. One burger was pink but we told them about it and it was replaced. Was thankful since it was for my 3y.

Went for dinner on a Sunday. Ordered a few of the basic cheese burgers plus a chicken sandwich. The burgers are great, a little small, but very good flavor. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall enjoyed it. The kids liked their food too which is always a big challenge. The staff was also very kind and helpful. We sat outside and enjoyed the great patio.

I can't believe I haven't tried Shake Shack before now. Admittedly I still haven't had their burger because I have been addicted to their chicken sandwich! Perfectly seasoned and fried. Amazing sauce that pairs perfectly with the green leaf lettuce and pickles. Flawless!!!!! The team working are always friendly. The inside is nice and spacious. I've always seen it clean despite having quite a bit of traffic, which is nice.

I got the ShackBurger with truffle fries. If you like truffle flavor, I definitely would recommend trying this! I wish the fires had more parmesan cheese, however. It was very light to say the least. I didn't even notice the parmesan at first. I ordered my food ahead of time and got it through the drive through. I love that capability - so convenient. I didn't go on the inside, but it looks beautiful through the glass. My burger was free with a $5 purchase due to a T-Life promo. If you have T-Mobile, make sure you download the T-Life app! ShakeShack deals seem to come once a quarter!

Literally 10/10. Food came out hot and fresh. Easy ordering. Everything appeared clean.

Delicious but sooooo expensive. I understand it's expensive to run a small business as I have done it myself, but wowzers.

The young man who was my cashier seemed new. He had to ask for help a couple times. It wasn't a bad experience, but he could have benefited from a coach being more available. I ordered a cheeseburger with extra cheese and tomatoes, fries and a chocolate malt. They got the burger wrong, but gave me a Coke while they remade my burger. Service was very polite and apologetic. Excellent attitude. Crinkle cut fries were perfect. Chocolate malt was very good as well. The second burger was delivered quickly and looks great and tasted good too. The whole restaurant was very clean. Overall I had a good experience eating here for the first time.

Pretty good. 1st time visiting SS. Got the chicken sandwich with the shack sauce - #delish. BBQ-Cheese Fries were AMAZINGLY GOOD! Lemonade was too bland for my taste. But, they gladly replaced it with a Fanta! Will be back to try the burgers.

I was impressed by one of the staff members working at this location as she was very engaged! She came by to check on us (we ordered ahead through the app) when we were halfway through our meal. We appreciated the dining-quality service at this fast-food stop. It's clean and tidy inside. Burgers are greasy, flavorful, and on the pricier end of fast casual food. My favorite is the Shroom burger though we always like to try out any of their new/limited options.

My first Shake Shack experience, and it did not disappoint! The venue itself is amazing, having both indoor and outdoor seating. Very aesthetic vibes and ambiance, feels like a social bar setting (Which is awesome). There is self-service ordering, and the menu is displayed clearly on the wall. I ordered the cheeseburger combo, and found the food delicious. I was not full from the order, and found it to be a bit pricey for the quantity of food that was delivered. But the quality of the burger and French fries spoke for itself. Definitely will be back, and will make sure to order more for my future visits!

The food was great but even more so the service was above and beyond! Everyone was so friendly, the staff went out of their way to acknowledge us and make sure we have what we needed. Everything was clean and no long lines. Had a fantastic experience and will 10000% go back again. Thank you!

Yum! Stopped in for the first time today! Ordered a lettuce wrapped Veggie Burger with added cherry peppers and Hubby had a double bacon cheeseburger. We split an order of fries. Everything was so yummy. Next time I'll double up my veggie patty! Hubby's burger was perfectly medium. There is an option for cooking the burger to well done. Ordering was easy and the meal came to the table pretty quickly. Someone came by and checked on us a few times to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Only thing we wish was an option is free refills on soda and bigger water cups. The restaurant was very clean and has plenty of seating. We will definitely be back!

This place is located on southbound feeder of I 35 and the parking lot is in the rear. On entering, you'll be faced with their menus on the wall and three kiosks from which to order. These kiosks do take a little while to figure out and they don't print out a receipt. They only take credit cards at the kiosks. It's also problematic if you're trying to put three or four people on your tab. A Double smash burger with cheese, bacon, regular fries and a shake can easily run you over $20 without the tip or tax (yes there's a tip screen for placing your own order). The burgers are pretty reasonable for what you pay for, however, I would definitely skip their chicken nuggets as they are a terrible skimpy value. The crinkle fries are better than I was expecting, but skip the cheese on them. Lots of seating inside and outside , plenty of parking and very clean modern bathrooms. Burgers ****, shakes ****, chicken nuggets *, ordering**, facilities****. Value ***1/2

The burger was pretty good for being a fast food joint! I had the smoke shack! It was pretty good! But I feel what was missing would be some grilled onions and pepper jack cheese- The cheese fries were muh - I was not a fan of them seem like they were missing flavor!! but I do have to say the service was good very helpful patient and the best part was the shakes. They were so good.

Who doesn't like Shake Shack? I decided to stop in today to get a chicken sando while stuck in traffic along I-35. The Sando, fries and service: The fried cutlet here is all-breast meat tossed in a house-developed blend of two kinds of pepper. The potato bun is slathered with Shack Ranch Sauce. Sour cucumber pickles bring a vinegary tang to the richness, while a cabbage coleslaw brightened by cherry peppers ably bridges the cool, creamy ranch to the crunchy, cukes and heat of the chicken. Score! It must also be noted the slaw is light and not weighed down like many competitors who rely too heavily upon mayonnaise. The crinkle-cutting french fries I purchased to accompany the sando were crispy which allowed them to retain the sweet ketchup. Aside from the tasty meal, the drive-through personeel who assisted me, Noel was a blast to talk with. If you are in the area and are looking for a fresh chicken white-meat crispy sando, this is your spot.

Came on a Sunday around 4:15pm. There were about 3 other families seated and I didn't realize they didn't have their food yet. We proceeded to order and I got a confirmation text that my order was received at 4:21, sat down with my number and waited 30 min before my husband went to check on our order. The person at the register said our order had come out already (I was watching the orders on the counter and didn't see our order). Needless to say, we got a refund and left. Although, I didn't get a refund on the tip. There were a ton of workers and hardly any customers so I am a bit disappointed at the amount of time and disorganization . We frequented this restaurant often, but don't know if we will return.

This is the first Shake Shack I've ever been to that has a drive-through. It's right on the southbound frontage road of I-35 in Round Rock so it should get plenty of traffic, although it's easy to miss depending on where you exit the highway. Despite the novelty of the drive-through I chose to dine inside, and while it wasn't as fancy as other locations it still has a nice feel with live plants, reclaimed wood, glazed tiles, etc. There's plenty of seating inside with booths and movable tables and chairs if you're sitting with a group. There are also tables outside on a covered wraparound patio. Ordering inside was new to me with several tablet ordering stations inside the entrance, but it all worked easily enough. The food was brought to our table reasonably quickly and tasted good, though perhaps not spectacular for the price. Mine was a double cheeseburger with bacon and avocado which really dressed up the default Shackburger that's too small, but the upgrade was too filling for me. I think I should have found something in the middle! Be sure to save room for their shakes too! I was disappointed there weren't more flavor options for a place that has Shake in the name, but I had the cookies & cream shake this time which was delicious. I remember the days when they used to have more options and even exotic rotating weekly flavors that were so fun! Over all this is a good new option for the area. There's plenty of parking behind the building and two lanes in the drive-through, so hopefully they'll be able to handle a crowd when people discover they're open.

I have been wanting to try Shake Shack since they opened up in Round Rock. We ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, pickles, onions, cherry peppers and side jalapeños. The other was single minus onions, peppers. Well they brought two singles. I realized the error and they had to bring me a double. Well on both burgers they left off cherry peppers! I had jalapeños but really wanted to try the cherry peppers. The burgers are good. Definitely recommend a double over single patty. The bacon cheese fries are also tasty. The plain crinkle fries anything but average. Definitely not as good as they are priced. Add something to fries, they are just nothing special plain. The chocolate shake is creamy smooth and delicious. My daughter said she tasted chocolate syrup on bottom, intense taste. Still a top shake. They got busy after we ordered and were waiting on our order. It's still new so I'll give them a pass on screwed up order since staff must be still inexperienced. Overall a good burger, shake and bacon cheese fries. Pricey menu especially in this inflation economy. PT Terry's is better value for your dollars. Top Notch's Longhorn burger by far a superior burger. If you're looking for a good burger, you will find one here. Just be prepared for a premium price.

Wow... I could have sworn I left these guys a 5 star cause that's what they deserve. This was our first time at Shake Shack, and we will definitely be coming back. We had the Shack burger and the Korean BBQ burger. Now, I was not highly impressed with the BBQ burger, but it doesn't go against them and my rating. What gives them the 5 star for me was I traded it for an avocado Shack burger and fries at no problem. They said oh 1 bite, and you don't like it." What else can we get you..." and boom customer service at its best. Plus, they have some outside patio furniture that makes the sense and casual feeling of eating while it's nice and cool before the texas heat melts you. Relaxing casual good ol' burgers with a taste that you enjoy. On our list to try more of the menu.

The food was hot and fresh and we all know crinkle cut fries are the black sheep of the fry family, but these were so crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. I absolutely loved their chicken sandwich and the chicken bites. The mayo thats added to the sandwich is chef kiss. The burgers are good too, nothing super special, but yummy. We went when it was busy and things came out really quickly. Definitely will be going back.

This burger establishment offers 3 electronic tables for diners to place their orders. I ordered their chicken shack, shack burger, and spicy cheese fries with ranch. I preferred the chicken shack over the shack burger because I loved the crunch of the breaded chicken patty. I normally don't enjoy spicy food, but their fries offered a decent amount of spice that wasn't overwhelming, the ranch cut through the heat nicely. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. I definitely this place if you like places that are a step above fast food.

Food was fresh and made to order. Lack of customer service at this particular location though. Also, I wish the burgers came with lettuce and tomato. Food and milkshakes were OK.

Ordered the spicy Korean chicken sandwich and it hardly had anything on it other than the fried chicken patty itself. I guess that coleslaw & Korean sauce were almost absent. Definitely not spicy. And despite picking it up immediately after it was set out, it was like warm at best. Even the fries were barely warm. Guess that what I should expect when ordering a chicken sandwich at a burger joint? No bueno!

Our first time coming, and Noel, the manager gave us the whole spiel and let us know the ins and outs, service was great. Food was great will definitely become a regular so glad we came today.

The burger I got had mold on the bun. Ordered through Uber, couldn't even get it fixed. Second time something has happened like this.

We are a big Shake Shack fan as a family. This was by far our best Shake Shack dine-in experience out of any location. Parking is easy to maneuver and the dining room is bright, airy, and clean. We were greeted and offered help as we ordered at the kiosks, but not pressured or rushed. The staff quickly fixed that their Sprite syrup-carbonated water ratio was off by replacing soft drinks for the kids. And the food came out fast, hot, and tasty as always. We you Round Rock Shake Shack.

I went to this restaurant and our server named Ethan absolutely got our order 100% wrong sucked so expensive and parking was such a big deal I don't know if it was in this location or another one but you need to figure it out between you shake shacks because Ethan was horrible.

Stopped in to try the Korean BBQ options and ordered both the burger and the chicken sandwich. Also ordered the Maple Snickerdoodle milkshake. The food was good but it was little on the small side considering the cost of the food, spent $26 for the three items. We went thru the drive thru and there was only one car ahead of us. The drive thru service was good!

We've been to this new location a few times since they opened. It's in a kind of strange location next to a Motel 6, but they serve the same consistent delicious burgers I've experienced at their other locations. You gotta get a double. This is the 1st location I've been to with a drive thru and we've used it once with no issues. The inside ordering system is a little confusing though compared to other Shake Shacks I've been to. You walk in and there is a self ordering system and I think you can order with a person too, but it seems like they prefer you to use the self system.

A great location, a drive thru, and a order ahead option all in this location. If you haven't tried shake shack, how's the time to do so at this spot. I can't comment much on the ambience as I've only picked up from here but there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. They have a variety of beef, chicken, and vegan options and also beer, wine, soda, and shakes. The burgers buns are an upgrade and you can't go wrong w any of the flavors really. Only thing I might ding them on is "spicy" isn't really spicy but I also love a good kick so I may be biased. Worth trying!

Very disappointed. High school cafeteria quality food. Fries are 100% frozen and heated up. Burgers, fries, & shakes for a family of 4 is a $100 meal. Definitely not worth the money, won't be coming back.

Shake Shack is the kind of place that radiates quality. You enter and find yourself lost in the heady aromas that can take you to another place and time. I was taken to a little corner place I used to go as a kid. The prices were low and the burgers were fantastic! While the burgers were really good here...the prices were a sign of the removal of quality food from the plates of the masses. This place was no McDonald brothers McDonalds..for sure. That's not the fault of The Shack...just an indicator of the times. Keep up the good food Shake Shack. Shame your prices don't allow your fare to be enjoyed equally by everyone..

Placed my mobile order and arrived during the windowed time and the order was hot and ready to go. Got a Double ShackBurger which tasted delicious. Easily the best restaurant chain burger and since this is a new location, the updated interior is pretty nice as well. No complaints with this location!

WAY overpriced for what you get. Food is warm/room temperature. $42 for two orders of chicken nuggets, fries, and drinks. Definitely Five Guys pricing but without the quality.

So I tried to fill out their Shake Shack survey but it turns out technology hates me. I will stick with yelp. Not only did this place get me hooked on burgers (which I used to hate). The people here are the nicest in the world. Congratulations to Noah (or Noel) and David for making me feel welcome and getting my kids addicted to their cheese fries. You guys are what fancy fast food should be! Keep working hard. My family loves y'all.

Food was very good quality. I thought our meal was expensive for what we got and the burgers were small. 2 burgers, 1 fry and 2 shakes cost $34. Restaurant had recently opened so there was a lot of staff around. Some not doing anything but talking up space. One was particularly helpful. I asked a question about the signature sauce and no one (4 people) couldn't answer what was in it. Seasoned mayonnaise was the answer I received. Everything was spotless. Not fond of having to order my food using a screen especially with so many options. I'm glad I ate there but doubt I'll return anytime soon.

Ordered online and went inside to pick up. Food hot and ready to go. Staff very friendly and helpful - I wish I'd gotten the young lady's name as she was just awesome ! The place looked extremely clean, open and airy. Will definitely be back!

Way too expensive for what you get! 72 dollars for 4 burgers, 3 fries and 4 milkshakes. Burgers are tasty but small. Fries are from a frozen bag. There are better burger restaurants around that are not as expensive.

Burgers were hot however they were very greasy with soggy, sad, wilted lettuce. We all know shake shacks prices so no surprises there. FYI if you are looking to get their root beer on tap, they don't have it there just in a bottle (still good). In - and -out is better or just go to the original one in the domain or in Austin.

Was intrigued to see what all the hype wa about, but it failed to live up to the talk. Got a double stack burger and fries. Premium price for slightly above average meal. I'll be hitting up P. Terry's across the highway in the future.
