Shake Shack San Marcos

We tried the mushroom burger at Shake Shack and it was so good! The crispy outside with the cheesy filling inside was amazing. The buns were soft, fresh lettuce added a nice crunch, and the flavor was just perfect. The cheese fries on the side made it even better—super cheesy and delicious. Definitely worth trying if you’re at Shake Shack….

My boyfriend and i ate here gor the first time. The burgers are absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going back. But the service sucks. The young employees they have working there aren't friendly and don't know how to smile.

This Shake Shack is located in the San Marco Premium outlet, which is off the I-35 Freeway. From here you can easily go to feeder road and get back into I-35. This burger was awesome! My daughter said, "This is the best hamburger I've ever had!". We did eat inside the restaurant but they do have a drive-thru. When you walk in, there is a counter with a few, what I'm going to describe as mounted tablets, so you can take your time, place your order and pay right there with a credit card. Then you take a number to put on your table, and once your order is ready, they bring it right to your table. You may also go to the counter and speak with a member and place your order and pay. They were very quick bringing out the order, and it looked great. There is plenty of seating, with outside seating as well. I'm really happy we chose to eat here and will be stopping again as I make this trip every 3 months. In my picture, you can see the strawberry/lemonade (sweet) and a plain burger (and it was still great! ) and fried pickles. They have a nice menu with several burgers, shakes, and drinks and treats. You won't be disappointed!

This is good Burger for sure...but paying more than $9 for the Double Cheese Burger and paying separately for the fries and drink is a bummer. .....The Burger was great!! Juicy, but definitely not for the price. The fries and onion rings were standard. .....The Marketing team needs to come up with combo incentives to drive the interest factor higher!! These are restaurant prices for McDonald's service....rather Go to In-N-out all day Long.

Wow!!! This place is totally amazing!! The food, service, and atmosphere is really great! This is a must come visit place with all of your family and friends!!

The burger is decent, the fries are just okay, but the ambience is a definite highlight - shame it's a bit on the pricey side.

I am a big fan of In and Out, this is my first visit to Shake Shack. It’s absolutely on par with In and Out. Both are fresh and taste great. I’d recommend this place anytime. It’s a must taste burger if your into hamburgers and fries. Awesome. Forgot to mention! The huge outside patio area is Fog friendly! Bring your pup with you. They will love the food here too!

I went to shop at the outlet mall in san marcos. The Tanger side had a shake shack so I tried them out. It was extremely busy and wait time was about 15 min to get our food. Hamburgers were good and the atmosphere was mid. It was very clean. But the shakes were on point! High end pricing.
