Shake Shack Secaucus

One of my favourite burger joints. I usually order shake stack with added bacon, and a chocolate shake. The portobello mushroom with cheese just adds to the burger...so tasty!! The milk shakes are so smooth with the best consistency, I have tried chocolate, strawberry, and the limited edition Dubai Chocolate.

Shake shack is literally exactly what you want it to be; fast, quality burgers and chicken sandwiches with amazing crinkle fries and delicious milkshake. Its perfect for right before or after a movie. 10/10 highly recommend.

Adriana, the manager, was incredibly kind and professional. She treated us as if we were regular customers at a full-service restaurant. Unlike other restaurants, even the fountain soda tasted great (I suppose no tap water was added).

I'd love to give this location even more than 5 stars. The food is always good. But the best part is their service. You order online and they prepare it so fast and even more important is their accuracy. Shake Shack Secaucus has never failed me. I love this location.

Holy moly. What an amazing experience. Joe served us our food and was very kind and welcoming. This food is on another level - I get what the fuss is all about now. How much can you say about a burger spot? It is a better burger than others. The crinkle cut fries are a different take and the malted chocolate shake was good! Enjoy it!

Rocco was especially helpful in supplying sauce since we were not sure how to order a side of sauce from the kiosk. Staff is friendly and food is tasty too. Speed of service was very good considering it was lunchtime.

I was highly impressed with Alex’s attentiveness, warm personality, speed, efficiency, and overall professionalism. At one point, it felt like I was at a diner with my favorite waitress rather than a fast-food restaurant. She is smart, energetic, and clearly passionate about her job. What stood out most was how she went beyond simply taking orders—she checked on dine-in customers to ensure they were enjoying their meals and asked if they needed anything. This level of care and service is rare in a fast-food setting. Alex appears to be a model employee. If I had my own restaurant—or any business—I’d want someone like her on my team. She has a bright future ahead, and Shake Shack is lucky to have her!

Have eaten here a couple of times with Red and will make it a semi-regular spot to enjoy a great burger. Unlike other fast-food places, you get a number, and someone brings your order to the table. We are not fond of the order kiosks, but the first time in someone helps us out. Regular or specialty burger it is always flavorful and brings you back to the burger places of old. Crinkle cut fries are hot and crispy. A delight plain, topped or with ketchup. The specialty drinks can really change the enjoyment of your meal over a regular soft drink There is a difference between a well-done burger and a burger done well. At Shake Shack why not have it both ways?

Ordered: Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake (~$10): real pistachio frozen custard mixed with toasted kataif shredded phyllo in a crackable dark chocolate shell, topped with chopped pistachios and crunchy kataifi Aya's take: Dubai chocolate is taking the world by storm and Shake Shack is one of the few chain restaurants that I know of to hop on the trend! At ~$10, the Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake in line with the cost of other Dubai chocolate desserts I've seen. I love that it's made with real pistachios and even real kataifi! The pistachio frozen custard is actually very pleasant - lightly sweet, nutty, and not too thick. The crackable dark chocolate shell was good in theory but didn't actually work out that well. It was hard to get any of the chocolate off the sides of the cup but the bites I did get were actually tasty. Considering it's a limited seasonal item, it was a good one time try!

This is a good shake shack. They bring you the orders. They've never messed up my food. Service is always quick and I love that they have free water cups and nice bathrooms.

Shake Shack has always seemed a little expensive for what it is, but it can still be a tasty and quick meal. It's too bad everything is ordered individually, and a burger, drink, and fries will be $20+. But still, there are some good sandwich options. I got a chicken bacon avocado burger, and the wait wasn't too long. It was crispy like it was really fresh. They bring the food to your table, so that's nice, no standing around. The crinkle fries were okay but nothing special. I did consider a shake but it was already becoming a bit much for lunch. Lots of seating, clean, nice, new fresh interior. It definitely fills a void left by the old Burger Fi.

Here's the thing... for me there's no one doing it better when it comes to fast food than Shake Shack. And I'm guessing at this point I've written more reviews about them - from various locations throughout the tri-state area to all the way down in DC (where they had a liquor license) - than any other chain. But this specific parcel of land? It was once the home of the almighty Pier 1 Imports. That store was essential when I was a bachelor first entering the real world (aka - being kicked out of my house when my mom said it was time to get my own apartment). So this review is bittersweet. But time marches on, they tell me. A mix of high-tech (a row of tablets ready to take your order when you walk in) and low (that unfinished concrete floor that doesn't seem to go with the rest of the restaurant's look) - this place has been absolutely bursting at the seams the few times we've come. (I'm guessing the hungry masses trickle down from the theater right after a movie is over.) The sandwiches are always top-notch (including one of the better vegetarian offerings you'll find). Those crinkle-cut fries are hot, crunchy, salty and delicious. Their various drink concoctions are always yummy. At almost $20 a person - it sure ain't cheap. There's a big parking lot right across from their location - which never seems to have enough spots. And they have plenty of competition in the area (from that overrated diner around the bend to Dave's Hot Chicken rubbing elbows with them to Red Lobster just a stone's throw away). Overlooking our most recent visit (where they goofed on one of my kid's orders and he complained, "Just three stars tonight!," as we got back in the car to leave) - we always leave satisfied and full. I'll always fondly remember - and miss - Pier 1. (Long love Shack Shake!)

The Shake Shack is a little old place where we can get together... Grand opening and everything was just right. The staff was very helpful. They greeted everyone at the door and were available for assistance at the kiosk. The managers were helping clear tables and walking around asking patrons if we needed anything. We stopped here for dinner on a Friday night, the place was sparkling spotless with super helpful friendly staff. I had a cheese dog and cheese fries and an iced tea, my daughter a double cheeseburger, fries, and a shake all amazing. Parking lot in front.

The food was well prepared, delivered quickly and with a smile in a nicely active location but the $28 price seemed like a lot! The order machine said I would have the choice of tea but that option was not presented.

I stopped by for lunch. Used the kiosk to order , the process was very easy. It took about 10 minutes for my food to be ready which was not bad. I noticed staff checking the order before providing it to customers which I thought was great customer service. I really enjoyed my meal. I would definitely return.

Among the better of the Shake Shack locations I've been to. The service is fast, food doesn't come out greasy, and the servers are great.

Came here for their friends and family opening event. The service was good and food came out quick. Everything was made as stated on the menu and ingredients were fresh. Nice addition to this area, we'll definitely be back.

Have been waiting months for this Shake Shack to open! I went during opening week and the staff was welcoming and courteous. We ordered through one of the kiosks, which was helpful as the restaurant was super busy. The chicken sandwich was super crispy and the size of the fries were enough to split with 2 people.

I was pretty happy when I saw that there is a Shake Shack closer by in Secaucus. Ordered take out and tried the NC burger special and Strawberry Frosting shake. I liked the burger but all the sauces/toppings were a little overwhelming. The shake was pretty good and definitely reminded me of frosting with the texture and colorful sprinkles; I was a little sugar high for awhile. It's a little tough to find a parking spot in this outdoor mall near Shake Shack but there is a hidden little area around the corner for 15 minute parking for food pick up. It was a bit of a walk but still better than trudging through a huge indoor mall to satisfy your shake shack fix. I'm coming back for the salted caramel shake!

Went just for the milkshake! With whipped cream at almost $9. And a little on the small side..... BUT, it was SOooo good...

Great place!! And even better people. Justin and his team were great and hospitable. Appreciated their friendliness toward me, wife and kids. Excellent food and service they have down to a T. Wish them nothing but success in their business. When my son was throwing a tantrum, I took him outside to calm him down. When I came back, Justin gave a free ice cream. What place does that!! Nobody!! That's how you take care of your customers. You may spend a little more money but Justin and his crew deserve every single penny not only for their good food but their first class customer service. That is how you run a business ladies and gentlemen.

Food was amazing, service was astonishing, and Ambiance was perfecto, I definitely recommend this place if your around the area or want to eat food before going to the movie theater!

My boy Anthony and Rocco got me right, burger good as fuck. Milkshake good. Service fast. Place chill, 100/10. I would let these ppl cater my wedding and funeral.

Though they didn't appear to be busy the service was rather slow, and my hamburger was undercooked and there wasn't a straw for my milkshake. fortunately, I had one in the car. It was a to go order. The parking lot is a disaster with people parked at the curb for pickup for several restaurants which makes driving difficult. I'm going to another location next time. It's just not worth the hassle and aggravation.

Ordered through Doordash. They let someone else walk away with the order. Never bothered to remake the food after the driver came to pick up. Completely left me hanging. Had to call CS for a refund.

I'm glad they've opened a Shake Shack that's a bit closer to my area. I went here today and this is my first time trying Shake Shack burger and I can't say how much the first time was very great! The burgers here, such as the Shackburger, are very good and the staff was welcoming and kind, and the place is spotless! It's also a great spot to have a meal before going off to the movie theater. Highly recommend to come here to eat if you're around the area! Again, Great job guys! Cheers for Shake Shack Secaucus! Definitely will be coming back here again!
