Google
Fast friendly service whether in person or delivered, fresh ingredients, tasty burgers. Have eaten here repeatedly. Also came here for Veterans Day 2025...had the best tasting Big Shack burger that was perfectly cooked. The cashier had friendly world-class vibes running that and delivering the food to all tables. She is priceless.

Google
A drop over priced for what you get & salty flavor for my taste. But still manages to be satisfying. This location benefits from its proximity to Brown University’s zeal & is surrounded by other interesting shops & restaurants.

Google
The quality & service of this shake shack has gone down significantly. I ordered a double smoke shack and when it came it was cold. The bacon was even colder on top, and the burger was crunchy throughout; it was over pressed and over done. my milkshake came out when I was just about halfway done with my burger. I didn’t end up finishing the food because it was very disappointing. The dining area has not been kept neat and the trash was overflowing without being attended to.

Google
Overall, pretty much your average shake shack food was amazing. Service was good and the atmosphere was good. This is one of the few shake shacks. I’ve visited that have TVs with sports channels and other stuff so that’s what gives that atmosphere five out of five stars

Google
I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed on my 2nd visit which Shake Shack paid for since the 1st time I visited they skimped me. 1st Timer, I tried the Avocado Bacon Burger and THIS is what I got, First two photos. The 2nd time I went I got what you see in photos #3 & #4. I say this with no doubt I will never return to a Shake Shack again. The store was not busy, so why rush to throw sandwich together sloppy?, they never texted me regarding my order when it was ready like they say they will do. The workers on Thayer st just don’t care. Take the avocado bacon burger OFF the menu!

Google
Shake Shack could always their standard no matter in East Coast or West Coast or in Japan or in HK The price is bit expensive than eg in HK and that is reality… US fast food in US is expensive than many other countries Burgers 🍔 are excellent as expected Fries are just okay Beer 🍺 doesn’t surprise me too!

Google
I really enjoy Shake Shack. When I'm craving a good burger it's usually what I want. I think for a burger place it's one of my favorite ones around. Especially if your considering it's a fast food burger. Better than five guys for sure. I'd say 8.5 to a 9 outa 10 on a good day. While I don't eat here all the time I can say almost everytime I'm satisfied. The beef has a nice crispy char on its edges. The patties are good size (more on the thinner side than thick). Very tasty burgers with nice squishy buns & good flavorful options. Don't know why shake is in the title because I think the burgers are the standout. I've tried the shakes they were kinda mid & the fries are nothing to brag about. The smoke shack is where it's at! It's Busy mostly all the time & hard to find parking anywhere on Thayer street. They could expand their menu, but I'm a fan for sure. Looking forward to more locations opening!

Google
This is the most disgusting cheeseburger place in Providence. It had been over a month since I placed my last order. Their national office assured me the issues had been dealt with and asked me to give them another chance. Every single patty is burnt to a crisp. Half of the lettuce is spoiled. The department of health needs to investigate them for food safety.

Yelp
Came back a few more times after my last review and I have to say they are consistent with quality. Burgers continue to be fresh and hot, fries as well. Was looking forward to a particular flavored lemonade they ran out of on a Sunday late afternoon. Def satisfies the burger cravings that's above fast food level. Ordered from the kiosk which made it easy, pick a table number and staff brings your tray to you which I like that convenience. Wait doesn't take very long for such fresh burgers too. It can get pricey tho. We had two burgers (1 specialty one), 2 fries (1 specialty one) and 2 lemonades. You need a code to the bathroom and each time I noticed the bathroom could use cleaning each time.

Yelp
I came back to Shake Shack on Thayer Street recently. When you enter, there are 3 self-order kiosks in front of you. A staff member is also present at the counter and you can order with them if you prefer. I used the self-order kiosk and it was easy to use. I ordered a single Black Truffle Burger ($10.49), fries ($4.49), and a large Berry Cherry Pomegranate Lemonade ($5.49). My husband ordered the single Avocado Bacon Burger ($9.99) and added lettuce and tomato for no extra charge. We grabbed the table number next to the kiosk and our order was brought out to us. There are plenty of tables in the seating area. The Black Truffle Burger was so juicy, mouthwatering, and amazing. I'm a huge fan. When I was finished, I wanted more and next time, I'll probably order a double. The fries were as crispy and good as always. The Berry Cherry Pomegranate Lemonade was a little too sweet for me, but it had good flavor.

Yelp
Not the best, not the worst. Shake shack is pretty standard across the board, but given that this one is on Thayer St, parking can be rather challenging. The first time I came here, the fries were overly salty, so I had to request no salt the 2nd time around. Good enough for a 2nd time, but mostly for a quick eat and being in the area. Employees are kind and respectful. Typical Shake Shack ambiance and clean. There are usually some nice deals on their app, e.g., free chicken sandwich on all Sundays through Dec 2024 with $10+ purchase, BOGO milkshakes, etc. So, it's worth it to download their free app and use their deals!

Yelp
This was my first ever Shake Shack experience - crazy, I know. We ordered on the app and picked it up at the Thayer Street location. It was very busy there for lunch over the weekend, and even though we ordered on the app, we waiting a long time for our food. There was plenty of seating and the interior was like an updated fast food restaurant - tons of booths, a station for condiments, water, etc. I ordered a basic burger and cheese fries, my boyfriend ordered the truffle burger and a Thai tea shake. The burger was decent. I wasn't a huge fan of the cheese sauce on the fries. My boyfriend loved his shake, but it wasn't my thing either. Overall, it hit the spot for a quick lunch, but I don't know if I would be rushing back. It's pricier fast food.

Yelp
We visit Shake Shack a lot while traveling since it's a familiar place for my kid to get a snack, and we found ourselves here after walking around the Brown campus. Hot dog was fine, same as any other Shack. Ordered on the kiosk, and service was quick. Busy, but plenty of tables. Standard, good Shack visit.

Yelp
As fast food goes, Shake Shack is pretty good, and I was 2.5 miles into a walk on an 85 degree day, and a little hot and thirsty. I was near Thayer Street and opted to walk into Shake Shack. I ordered cheeseburger and fries. Service was prompt, the burger and fries arrived quickly, within a few minutes. So I assume my burger wasn't cooked to order. On this visit my burger was a little dry and tepid. The fries were hot, crispy and tasy, Overall, not great, not bad, three stars.
google avatar

Yelp
Recommendation: Order at the kiosk. Saves time. One star off because they never texted us when our order was ready. Food was delicious. I ordered the Shack Stack, which had a crispy-fried portobello mushroom on top fo the regular patty, spicy ranch crinkle-cut fries, and mango passionade. Classic, greasy, and delicious. The drink was okay; nothing to rave about. I also tried the Chicken Bites, which were okay. The restaurant is spacious, but I can see why many customers order to go based on location. Although Shake Shack is a bit pricey, the quality speaks for itself and it is really filling.
google avatar

Yelp
Great Shake Shack location! We ordered two single ShackBurgers, fries, and 6-count Chicken Bites. When the order was ready, a server brought a tray with our food over to our table! I didn't know that Shake Shack did this-- a pleasant surprise. Service was very nice. Food hit as always. The potato buns are soft and slightly crispy on the edge, tasty patty, and crispy fries. Not the cheapest fast food but really satisfying to eat. The only reason why I took a star off was because of the bathrooms. The bathrooms have a padlock on them, so I asked a staff what the passcode was. They wouldn't tell us the code, so they told me to wait for one of the staff to come over and unlock it. This was inconvenient and definitely not good for someone that really needs to use the restroom. So, definitely come here with an empty bladder. Otherwise, food was great.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Delicious burger and fast service. Love you the lemonade options they have. Plenty of sitting area with wooden tables and sports tv. The cleanliness of the bathrooms were disgusting

Joseph K.

Yelp
Got shake got text it was ready asked for it and lady aggressively slammed shack on counter although shake is great the service is not
google avatar

Yelp
First time, itvwas very tasty, I appreciate the fact that they offer specials, like free food.
google avatar

Anne Marie V.

Yelp
We ordered via Grubhub because it was too hot to cook. The food was spot on delicious! We got 2 chicken sandwiches, 1 cheese burger and 1 hot dog. The order was delivered quickly and hot. Definitely go to ordered again.

Yelp
This is the second Shake Shack I have been to, the first in NYC. Parking is on the street which may be hard to find on Thayer street. We lucked out and go a spot right in front. When you enter, order and wait for your order on the right. To the left is a good size dining area with booths and tables. The rest room is approached from the dining room side, in between the order counter and dining room. This means you cannot see when your order is up from your table, so you need to stand and wait for it. A self serve counter in the dining area has things like napkins and condiments, and there is a place to get yourself tap water here as well. I tried the portobello mushroom burger which is a vegetarian burger substitute. The mushroom and other ingredients, like the cheese, are encased in a breaded shell which must be deep fried to cook. It has a crunch to it, and the melted cheese oozes. The chicken sandwich was beyond tiny. About the size of two and a half nuggets at most. Not much of a sandwich. The chocolate shake was super thick and fudgy. We really enjoyed that. The bathroom door has a cypher lock on it. You need to ask staff to unlock the door for you and have a receipt ready to show proof you are a customer. The floor in the hallway leading to the bathroom, and in the bathroom itself was a sticky mess. It looked like a half hearted attempt was made to mop it up but basically just spread the mess around. Tables are self bussed and we had to wipe ours down w/some napkins when we seated ourselves. Trash is over by the bathrooms where you can leave your tray.

Yelp
Food is good, fresh veggies and nice taste. However burger was carelessly made and fell apart in hand. Became gross. Establishment was messy and seemed neglected. Manager goes around begging for positive 5 star reviews, albeit he was very charismatic. What you would expect from the typical university joint.
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
Burgers were prepared to perfection and the fries prepared hot. Clean dining area and the cashier was very nice and answered all our questions about the menu. Not much else to say, great burgers and fries, will return for shakes
google avatar

Yelp
Solid fast casual place in a great location right on Thayer. Insanely easy ordering system through their app or website. Only downside is I wish it gave you the option to write a note or say something like "no pickles." I probably won't be eating in the physical restaurant any time soon but I am always down for a burger & fries with a custard to enjoy after.

Yelp
Going to Thayer is always one of my worst nightmares When you open the door there is such an intense vacuum of air fan that you feel like you just walked into a Nasa Spacecraft but actuaaly you're being transported to Thayer Street which is one of the last places i would ever want to go in my whole life i think. I have to yank and pull way harder than I should and I can feel the eyes of every seated customer and those waiting in line on me as I use my shrimp arms to their maximum ability. The shakes are good thoigh

Ann H.

Yelp
They charged my CC, saw us waiting and serving others, and didn't bother telling us they didn't have our order "somehow."  After I asked, the server girl did not bother to bring our food and just left it on the counter until I asked again. It was just an awful attitude.
google avatar

Yelp
It's shake shack. Ugly presentation, great taste. Spawn likes grilled cheese, gets 2 and a cheese fries. Not the healthiest selection, but then again, you're at Shake Shack. Fries are fine, home quality in the worst intention of that term. Best service through the peephole window this side of Lake Minnetonka, and most times you have to go in since they dont show up at the window. The ambiance is amazing: again, I dont dine in so all I see are lots of locals, tourists?, and there's always a group of 3 - 5 girls in formal dresses followed by 2 - 4 guys with baseball hats cocked sideways or wearing ripoff Amiri. I might be projecting, but i swear I go here maybe 2x a year and there's always that scene as I'm waiting for food. Biggest gripe is parking, but that's for all Thayer St. If you're doing walkabouts, then it's completely fine: you can park in Pawtucket and just walk around. If you're not, better bring a friend to jump out while you parallel double park that mug sideways on someone's mini Yugoslavic poofrenchishitzumatzaballmerenian... mix. I'll take pics next time, but they'll probably drop a star from the review lol. Truly, the Fedex of fast food chains: you technically got your package, but you can tell the story of its journey to you. After all, it IS SHAKE SHACK.

Yelp
About 5 years ago we were in nyc and there was a shake Shack at our hotel, we loved it so much we ate there 3 times in 3 days Searching for burger places in providence, and too my surprise shake shack came up . Immediately after hearing that the family quickly agreed. We were happy to find they were as good as we remembered. The fries and shakes were awesome too. Place was clean and COVID precautions were well taken Only issue is parking, it's a busy street so you can't be shy, but service is quick
google avatar

Camille T.

Yelp
BASIC burgers and fries? Check. Honestly, I don't see that there's anything standout amazing about Shake Shack. This location is fairly new to the providence area, and we timed our visit with winter break for Brown/RISD which is probably tour best interest if you're not looking for major crowds. There are really only 3 burgers to choose from here. 1) cheeseburger. 2) bacon cheeseburger. 3) mushroom burgers. I opted for the classic burger (single) and it was fine...it was greasy enough for me to have to wipe my hands every time I put it down (even with the burger still in the paper wrapper) and the cheese sauce had a funny after taste to it. I know it was specifically the cheese sauce because I ordered cheese fries, and they had the same after taste. As an aside, despite the after taste of the cheese, the fries were delicious - nice and crispy but not overdone. They held up the cheese well. The cheese. When I first look at the cheese fries I was admittedly disappointed. The looked like fries with cheese whiz (I could only think of the movie Goofy Movie when the kid says "It's the leaning tower of cheese-a!", but I digress). I don't know if it was really cheese whiz or if it was a home made alternative, but either way, I probably could have done without it. So overall, basic burgers and fries weren't bad, but I've definitely had better.

Yelp
I have been a Shake Shack fan for MANY years, since I lived in NYC. I was thrilled when they finally opened a location in Rhode Island! I actually dined here on opening day, which I think was about 2 years ago. I have returned since and still find the food to be consistently delicious! The staff seems... ok. I don't think anyone was particularly friendly or helpful on my most recent visit. Just getting the job done which I guess is all that can be expected. This is a convenient location on the Brown University campus, but if you're a fan of Shake Shack and in the area it's definitely worth it.
google avatar

Ragnar C.

Yelp
Stopped in during a business trip for a double shake shack burger, chicken bites & a pomegranate basil lemonade! Hit the spot with quick, efficient and friendly staff! It's a college town so this place seems to have constant flow of traffic.
google avatar

Matt L.

Yelp
As a New York native, I'm glad to have Shake Shack as an option here in Rhode Island! I went around 4pm and just missed the rush. The line takes a little while to wait through, but it's worth the wait if you're not in a big rush. The orders come out at a relatively decent pace and customer service always felt simultaneously caring and efficient. I got the nuggets and Pie Oh My concrete, which was a delicious swirl of vanilla custard and substantial chunks of pie. The last time I had a Four & Twenty Blackbirds pie was back home in NY, so it was a huge joy to find this on the menu here. The pricing for all the menu items do feel a little steep considering the smaller portions though. Overall a positive experience consistent with other Shake Shacks and would come back any day I'm on Thayer Street and feel like treating myself.

Yelp
This is a popular chain restaurant that takes its place in the "fast casual" dining scene seriously. The menu revolves around its staples of, shakes, burgers, hot dogs, and fries but they are thoughtful to add in the local flavors of the city or location they are located in. They also sell beer and wine as well as the typical soft drink staples like soda and iced tea. I ordered the Shack Stack, which is a shroom burger with a beef patty on top and some crinkle cut fries. As you can imagine, it was really tasty. My friend ordered an Oreo shake and enjoyed some crinkle fries too. It was a bold move to put the first (and only) Shake Shack location in Rhode Island on Thayer Street - which is notorious for having very limited parking - maybe they were thinking it would be visited by the many students from the surrounding colleges. While we were waiting for our food to be made, I noticed the hand painted mural on the wall that was done by a local artist from RISD, which tied into their theme nicely. While I'm not thrilled to see yet another chain restaurant take root on Thayer Street (hey, I'm old school and remember the days of the fun and funky local stores and restaurants that once's lined this iconic street) I enjoyed my meal here and would likely come back again.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of receiving an invitation to their soft opening today. Having never been to one, I didn't know what to expect but in my experience it's your typical fast food burger place with some additional touches thrown in. The food was good, but not very different from your usual burger place. On a good note, they don't overcook the meat patties, and the end product looks like what a burger in an ad would look like. This place will also be offering local craft beers which is a nice touch from other fast food burger places. But ultimately, what you get isn't drastically better than what you get at other places. It was fun to try out and experience, and I'll likely go back, but I don't think I'll be making a habit of it honestly.

Yelp
I waited for the grand opening rush to be over before coming here. I took my friends from the west coast here! One of them is pretty much In n' Out or die, while the other is successfully converted as you can see in the reviews below lol :D. We got there around 1pm and it was pretty bustling, but not super busy. Anyways, I tried the chicken n' bits because it was new. My friends ordered a smoke shack burger and regular fries. Personally, I'm not a big fan of shakes, so I don't really get them (pls don't come at me). But in general, the chicken n' bits was actually really good. Definitely fresh. I've had shake shack before in other locations, so I know their burgers are good as well. I can't say for sure for this location because I didn't have it. The thing that made this location great though, is the friendly staff. The lady who took my order was so nice and the staff helping to clear trays were also super friendly. My friends and I had a great experience here. Would definitely come back for a quick meal! P.S: Sorry for the LQ pic!

Yelp
5 stars for the skakes! (My daughter and I hit up Shake Shack in NY) so SUPER excited to have one in RI (especially at Christmas time... Christmas Cookie Shake!) But back to my recent visit in Providence... There is more seating than the NY locations I have been too, good size, no line, plenty of staff on, super nice (even let me try a sample of a flavor- didn't know that existed!) We ordered a Salted Caramel and a Cookies n Cream. Both delicious! Cookies was super thick and the pieces of cookie- oh my! The Caramel was super sweet and could fulfill any sweet tooth craving! The fries... barely warm and the cheese was given to us in a cup on the side so when you are at the bottom of the fries the choose is rock hard and the fries snap while dipping. Overall- THANKS SHAKE SHACK FOR BEING IN RI!!!

Yelp
Burger so good I forgot to take pics! I must say I recently had the best burger in my life!! I thought in and out was bomb but SHAKE SHACK?! Holy sheeshhhh! I ordered the shack stack and let me tell YOU, the char on the burger--was like no other! I am kicking myself for waiting so long to try this place!

Trevor H.

Yelp
I ordered my food here and was told they were all out of milkshakes. We go to sit down to wait for our food and there is only one other person that ordered. We waited for 20 minutes while the workers in the back slugged down milkshakes. Still have yet to get my food. Absolutely horrible. Won't be coming back.
google avatar

Jakob S.

Yelp
Yummy food and shakes! Have come here multiple times to grab something quick. Good customer service. Will be back soon.

Yelp
Excited to finally try this location of Shake Shack. Cool space which is to be expected since it's in a thriving college town area. When it was our turn to order we asked what kind of beer they had on tap, IPA or what they were. The employee answered "Foolproof". We asked again if she knew what type of beer and she said "Foolproof" which we know is just the name of a brewery. Finally she saw it said India Pale Ale. Small mistake but a little odd since they only have two beers on tap and we're probably not the first to ask. Food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious! Loved the cheesey fries. Fun trip, I'm sure we'll be back again!

Yelp
I really really like Shake Shake... just not the Thayer Street Shake Shack in PVD. Why? Slow slooow sloooooooooow service everywhere. Slow @ the register. If there's a line 10 deep, open a 2nd register, Manager-on-Duty. Common sense? Not here. Slow @ the pickup counter. The kitchen cooks are actually pretty efficient considering how slow the pickup is here. One person at pickup was struggling to put 2 cups in a tray, but hellllo, we are 2 people with 4 hands between us. We don't need a tray for 2 items. Common sense? Not here. Slow @ cleaning.... This is the worst. The bathrooms are really bad, with used paper towels overflowing the bins and general grossness. The dining room is consistently dirty. There's no excuse for unsanitary conditions at a restaurant. Common sense? Not here.... and it makes me question how workers can keep their hands clean after washing their hands in the nasty bathroom right before prepping food (!!!!!!) Please speed up and clean up PVD Thayer street Shake Shake. I want to stomach and not yack up the food I'd love to order here. NYC Shake Shacks are way busier and I've never seen this level of service neglect there.

Yelp
Finally a Shake Shack outside of Boston! My husband and I use to love going to the one in Dedham but the Thayer st location has it beat. Plenty of room inside to eat and, so far, very clean! A great place to grab a simple burger. Fries aren't anything special unfortunately, we often just share a small size. I got the chicken bites and they were okay, would definitely get a burger next time or try the hot dog. Hubby loves the milk shakes there, he can never resist. Definitely worth stopping in once or twice every so often!
google avatar

Kevin G.

Yelp
I'm going to make this straight forward and break it down in categories! Food: very average... just like most other burger and hot dog places. The hot dog was ok with the flavor balance. It came with all kinds of sauce, pickles, and stuff... but it's not something you cannot make yourself at home. The burger was just fine. The bun was soft and the patties were fresh, but other than that it's the same stuff just like other places. Price: Ridiculous.... spent almost $17, got a hot dog (which I can probably make for less than $2), the chicken bites taste like the ones you can get from markets and microwaved, and a $5 milkshake (the milkshake was good though) Environment: you can see staffs sits there and talk.... I don't know why they hired so many people and it's clearly overstaffed.

D. R.

Yelp
Undercooked fries, burger 1/2 on the bun, generally gross. The least care possible to the point of shameful. I will not be back. Zero stars if I could.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Wow, probably the best fast food I've ever had in my life. Got the double smokestack burger with everything and it was $11 but sooooo gooood. Great pickup spot walking the dog. Although the takeout window wasn't operating. They brought my bag to the door and I appreciate it.

Yelp
I'm from the West Coast and we don't have Shake Shack over there, so today was my first time ever experiencing Shake Shack. I've heard so many good things about Shake Shack so I knew I had to try it during my East Coast trip. I have to say, Shake Shack definitely lives up to the hype! The food was amazing, we ordered the Smoke Shack burger, chicken n bits, and crinkle cut fries. Everything was super flavorful and tasted fresh. The chicken n bits were my favorite. I think one of the staff members said it was a newer item and I definitely recommend trying it! Their barbecue sauce is also super bomb! It's one of the best sauces I've ever tried. I want to give a huge shoutout to the amazing customer service the staff members showed. They were super friendly and answered questions we had about the food. We told them it was our first time at Shake Shack and they were super understanding and patient. They definitely help create a fun and positive environment. I'll definitely stop by here again next time I'm in the area.
google avatar

Chelsea S.

Yelp
My fiancé and I had Shake Shack tonight and we loved it! I'm newly vegetarian and they had an awesome stuffed mushroom burger that I immensely enjoyed and would definitely order again. I also couldn't help but get a grilled cheese. He got some chicken nuggets and a chicken sandwich and loved it as well. I wish they had more options and add ons, but it was a good price and great quality. It's always impressive when a place can make fast food that's not too greasy.
google avatar

Jack T.

Yelp
Unfortunately I wanted to say good things especially after spending such a premium for expectedly quality food. However this is not what I got. To start there was a 10 min wait to order and the place was packed well beyond capacity. As for food I got the nuggets and the breading was not attached to the chicken at all. In fact the chicken after one bute would completely detach. This made for a messy meal.
google avatar

Valerie C.

Yelp
To be honest, I only eat Shake Shack when I cannot deprive my stomach of burgers and fries anymore. This one opened on my birthday this year (bday twin!) but there isn't any other place on Thayer where I get my fix of American "fast food" (sorry BGOOD and rip Johnny Rockets). This food is very filling, so if you're super hungry and want a greasy meal, this is a good idea. I usually order the SmokeShack or the Chick'n bites with fries. I'd say these crinkled cut potatoes are the tastiest on Thayer, and the milkshakes are super thick but rich and flavorful. Cranapple lemonade is a bit sour. To answer the big question of "In n Out or Shake Shack?": If there was an establishment with In n Out burgers and Shake Shack fries, we might get closer to achieving world peace.
google avatar

Sandra S.

Yelp
The burgers were very good, as well as the milkshakes. I only complaint was that picking up a mobile to go order took a long time as the orders aren't kept at a easily assessable counter, which made the pickup longer than it needed to be or else I would of have a 5 star. My son enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger very much as well as the fries. Even though we waited abit for the order to be handed to us, we were happy with the quality of the food as it was warm still and the shakes hadn't melted at all which we were pleasantly surprised. Just a note that it is on the pricey side for two meals with shakes.

Yelp
On the way to the airport we needed a quick lunch and we love shake shack at home so why not try here? I had to order online and it was processed 4 mins before we arrived at the restaurant. As we approached the restaurant 5/6 mins later, I got a text that my order was almost ready. I waited a few more minutes and got my food. The shroom and regular burger were made correctly and were hot. I thought the fires were good. My mom wanted them a little bit hotter but she has very high fry expectations, and they were still very crispy so it wasn't a huge deal. We didn't get any drinks. Fast, hot (mostly), and yummy.

Yelp
Really liked the chicken apple sausage. Was surprised to see that on the menu! We ordered 3 spicy chicken sandwiches and a 4th with their extra spicy but when they gave it to us, it wasn't noted which one was extra spicy so we had to play Russian roulette. I of course lost. So I can't review their fries because my tongue was numb and I tasted nothing after 2nd bite of chicken sandwich. I can tell you the spicy chicken is a slow burn. Not a sauce, more of spice on top. It was intense, I'd say stick with regular hotness scale.

Yelp
Great food! Service terrible, come here religiously and just seems to get worse and worse. Whomever trains your service members needs to retrain as your expo doesn't know or better yet doesn't care to provide the best guest experience. Doesn't use their voice to let people know their food is ready which will eventually lead to angry customers and people claiming you serve cold food. This is the second time this has arises. Next time I'm just going to asked for my order remade.

Yelp
The chain that give a fair fight to the in and out chain from the west coast. If you know and tasted in and out burgers, you know that they are one level above the rest. And so is Shack Shack. Very, i mean very fresh ingredients. The meat is juicy and the vegetables are ones you enjoy and feel the freshness of them. Price is ok, and for the quality you get in return I think they are more than fair. I removed one star since it took them forever to get our order. The place was half full, and for a fast food pace it shouldn't take 15 minutes to get the food. But even with that, I will come back since I found a local place that makes good burgers and do not charge a fortune.

Yelp
Shake shack is amazing!!! I've known about Shake shack for years and finally got to try it at this location. They serve great food with a casual dinning feel at a quick service restaurant tempo. The Burger: I had a hard time because I wanted to try three burgers at shake shack but didn't want to break the bank and I knew I couldn't eat that much food. I wanted to try the shack burger, the shack stack, and the smoke stack. I ordered the smoke stack and asked them to add a fried portobello mushroom on top. I added my own menu hack so I could get the best of the shack stack and smoke stack on one burger. It was amazing sweet shack sauce, hot chilies, smoky bacon, perfect seared patty, and the most flavorful cheesy mushroom you could imagine. The bun was soft and hefty as well as still being connected on the back end to hold everything in. This thing came just as advertised and oh so tasty. I think the thing I was most impressed by was the crispy mushroom--it was so fresh and the copious amounts of gooey cheese added the perfect flavor combination to it. Everyone makes the shake Shack in-n-out comparison I've had both and the burger at shake Shack is so much better it's in another league. The Chicken: I ordered the Chick'n shack which was also amazing. This is the chicken sandwich everyone in the south tries to make and falls sort of. It was exactly like boxcar Betty's in Charleston s.c. But this one was much better. The chicken itself was thick and crunchy fried perfectly. This was all white meat and although the juices where liked in it was a little dry but not back for white meat. The dryness of the meat is the only drawback to this one. The pickles are thick cut home style, lettuce is crunchy, and the buttermilk herb mayo is the perfect pairing. The Fries: The crinkle fit cheese fries were pretty good. The were crispy and salted nicely. Executed really well but they did not blow my mind they were normal thin cut crinkle fries with cheese on them. This is the only category where In-n-out beats shake shack in my opinion. The Drink: I had a cranberry-apple-lemonade which was fantastic. A+ on the drink combination. The also offer other fruit juices, soft drinks, and beer. Overall I had a good time at shake shack. The cashier took time to talk with me while I was up there and told her it was my first time. So they had a very friendly helpful staff. The made sure to get my whole order right and to my exact specifications and when they did it came out hot. This is a great place with good food and a nice atmosphere.

Yelp
Jake S. Fix your establishment, staff, and the way you cook. Your portion sizes are a joke, and your "sorry to hear about that, send me your email so we can connect with you" is a bullshit excuse. Worst shake shack on the east coast. You don't fix things, you give off apology statements. Your no better than a YouTube Apology video... sickening

Yelp
I've been dying to try the newest addition to Thayer since it opened last Wednesday. I finally ended up visiting right before an enormous lunch crowd enveloped the establishment on a sunny Saturday. The wait wasn't too long but since the lunch crowd was so large, it was hard to maneuver though the people and we were not able to find a seat inside. I ordered just a regular shack burger and my friend and I split an order of fries and a black and white shake. I liked how the burger seemed to have sweet bread as the bun. The fries were salty and crispy and the shake was pretty tasty as well. Compared to other fast food joints (McDonald's, Taco Bell, etc.), the prices at Shake Shack are relatively high. However, the food is pretty worth it! The shake is probably one of the priciest parts of the meal so if you are trying to save money, just don't order a shake.
