Shake Shack Union

I drive by quite often on my way home. I wanted to see the structure named after singer, Whitney Houston. I decided to grab lunch while running errands. The building structure is beautiful with huge windows. There is a small section with Whitney's accomplishments. The stop has a nice dining space. Makes easy for grab and go or dine in. Ordered burgers and fries with lemonade. I didn't have the wait time issue I see others complain about. Our food was served fast and hot. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stop here again.

I’ve been to several shake shacks in my time, while the food was good it was not up to the typical standards of Shake Shacks. The staff was great, especially considering the volume of customers coming and going. The main reason for a low score was the food not being as good as anticipated and the lack of seating, in part because it was at a rest stop off the highway

Garden State Parkway Rest Stop. First Shake Shack visit ever. Hard to believe since they been around forever. Burger was good. But all this for $22. Hardly a Value meal. 😂

This location is below average. Long wait average burger at higher price is not a recipe for success. Being off of th GSP is its saving grace.

Take out order 9/26 8:27pm The manager was very rude and stated "whoever put this order in needs to be smacked" this was our family's order. We are in town visiting from Texas. There were missing items from our order. Ms Lady manager... you are in the business of serving people. If you don't like the business you are in, choose a different job. You have no place to treat folks this way, in action or words. We spent $158 in your store and was treated very ill. Sad...very sad.

Great burgers! Still my fav burger joint!

Long wait and seemed understaffed. Kiosk orders only. My chicken sandwich was so over cooked I had to throw it out. If I had eaten at the place definitely would have returned it.

Shake Shack is always great. Food is freshly cooked and delicious. The staff is courteous and accommodating. It's awesome that even though it's in a "Rest Area" on the Garden State Parkway, it's an unexpected oasis, where normally you'd have one of big the fast food joints shoveling out processed grab and go eats. I'd visit just to get a shake, but the food is just that good! A+++++
