Yelp
Just disappointed.
Came here 1/2 hour before close and ordered a burger, fries, and chocolate milkshake.
It took 30 minutes to receive my order even though there were only about 10 customers.
The staff looked disorganized and confused on everyone's order. Customers came back and returned orders. The employees making the food looked confused constantly looking and double checking orders and receipts. It just looked like a mess.
By the time I received my order, it was now 8:30 and they were closing up.
I sat down, bit into my burger and discovered they gave or made me the wrong order. At that point I tried to just eat it but unfortunately they gave me the spicy burger and I just couldn't eat it.
My husband went back to the register and asked them to return it. The cashier took it back and said they could make a new one. Well, 10 minutes later I told my husband something was wrong and to check in with them to see what the wait was for. He went back to the register and the cashier said they couldn't make a new one because they closed so my husband asked what his options were.
Then the cashier didn't know what to do so he went to the back to ask the manager and came back out and said he would do a refund. It took him 10 min again to figure out how to process a full refund and then he gave my husband two coupons for french fries.
What an awful experience. And who is the manager running the business? When that happened, the manager should have come out and took care of the refund or showed the employee how to do it let alone apologize for confusion and mess up w the order.
I ended up writing Corporate and just got a measly "sorry for the terrible experience... we will have someone go out there and speak w the staff" bs email which I highly doubt anything will be done about it.
But seriously who is running the place? I tried to give it another chance since they gave us free fries and well that turned into a second disaster.
The cashier didn't know how to ring up the coupon so he said he would tell the staff to add it into our order of burgers.
Well, they got the burgers right and forgot the fries. So by the time we got our fries, we had finished our meals.
The issue is they have no leadership running the show and a bunch of teenagers running it instead.
I've been to the Palo Alto and Valley Fair location and never had a bad experience.
This just says a lot about their hiring and who they have managing. And there needs to be changes made in order for this business location to thrive.
Never coming back to this location and I don't recommend it because there are other burger restaurants you should spend your money on that offer better high quality standards and service such as In & Out, IM Burger, the Habit Burger... all near by.
Lastly- look at the other reviews. I wouldn't go by a few of the 5 star reviews as it seems they were added by friends. Instead go by the lower rated ones who have the same complaints I encountered. Consistency is what matters and all the bad reviews are consistency telling the same complaints I had.
Milkshakes are bomb? Are you kidding me. One review rated them bomb. Try one of the other places I listed about. Far better, better consistency, added whip cream, etc. the two times I tried this place- the milkshake was warm and watery. So have no clue what one reviewer was claiming other than doing the review for a friend who works there.
Another raved the burger. The burgers are small, messy and soggy and for $10 bucks. What a joke.
Try Super Duper. It's better for your buck and honestly any other establishment.
So again, if you are smart, go elsewhere to spend $25 for yourself for two people you are spending $45. Not worth the money.
