I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the bar vibe, trying so hard to be upscale. I mean, nice try, I guess. The whole atmosphere just killed my appetite, especially since no one else was even bothering with food during happy hour. Guess I'll never know if the food was any good, but hey, can't rate what I didn't sample. The bartender was nice though.

The menu is very limited. They screwed up my food and it took them 15+ minutes to get a new plate to me. By that time my husband was done with his food and neither one of us wanted to continue to wait for mine. I told them to cxl my order so we could pay our bill and leave. They offered to box it for me which I declined, the guy came out with the food after about 20 minutes as we were paying the bill and they offered again so I said fine. It wasn’t very good. The fries are skinny-if that’s your thing. Except for the location, the decor of this place alone does not look like the type of place that should be charging $9 for a mixed drink. The cutting boards they bring the food on makes it hard for fries to not fall off on to the counter. Not a single thing I liked about this establishment.

Best hidden secret bar in Allen.. Shakertin is my go to bar. They have great food and 26 TV’s. Great staff and management goes out of their way to ensure everyone is taken care of. Also heard they are opening a new location in midtown. They have 4-5 locations in the surrounding cities. Check them out. Thanks for taking great care of us Kat.

I got charged two time . The bartender could not get our tickets right. And a 20% for the tip. That's crazy. They should let us for the service that we received. And now I have to wait 3 to 5 days for my money to come back on my card. If not I have to cancel my card. This is why I do not like using my card at a restaurant or a bar cuz somebody bounds to mess up. The food came out cold not much to pick on the menu though. It was not a crowd yet we got there at 9. Good music, good DJ. Good mixed crowd.. we'll go again but I will not use a card I will pay cash from this point on..

The waitress and bartenders are nice. I asked for a cocktail suggestion from the waitress who brought me a concoction with a worried look on her face. She explained everyone returns it. It was in fact terrible. I asked to pick something else and she named a drink. Moments later she returned stating they didn't have some of the ingredients. I then asked for an ultra. She returned stating they were out. I asked for a colors light. She returned stating they were out and offered me another light beer. I think management needs to do a bar rescue here. All the places in Fairview go through an identity crisis before becoming a destination. Shakertins needs to decide if it is a upscale bar, sports bar, dance club, music venue or a chili's. UPDATED: whenever I score a place below 3 stars I return to give at least 2 chances to raise it. Shakertins got 3 and it dropped everytime. This place has just gone from ok to worse. It's the definition of an identity crisis. Great specialty drinks (on paper) with a completely unrelated menu. Flavor for flavor the mixology and the food don't pair up. Pool tables are extremely loud and distracting to people lounging. Evidently smoking at the bar outside and blowing smoke inside is allowed. So expect inside to smell of smoke. The icing is when the waitress dressed in tiktok workout gear asked if I wanted a cold mug with my beer. Turned out to be a refrigerated PLASTIC CUP.

Extremely unethical business practice to charge individual customers 20% gratuity on each transaction without mentioning to them that they're paying 20% on every purchase they make. This is a good way to scam customers and lower your customer base. Pizza was good 👍

Food is kind of disappointing but the space is large, with plenty of tables and TVs to watch your favorite sports from and most importantly the staff are friendly. Our group watched the Mavs NBA final game here last night and despite there being a big crowd with only 3 servers, they worked quickly with precision. Will return again!

The first time here was slow when we first got here. They do id check at the door. Sat. Night they have a DJ playing music. Mostly rap, hip-hop, and dance mixs. It's pretty good if your in too that kind of music? The service was excellent! Our waitress was very attentive, especially when there were 11 if we had. Some in our group needed extra attention! Their 2 pool tables were open and available for us. Pretty good crowd when it started to get later. Pretty cool place to hang for music and drinks!

First time visit, wandered in before 6pm. Seated at the bar inside were about 10 people. When we walked in every conversation stopped and every head spun around like we interrupted a club meeting or something. The daytime bartender, nearing the end of her shift, made sure her regulars were tended to before she traversed the dining room to acknowledge us (I won't say "greet" because it wasn't that). She showed little interest in us, and left our drinks empty while she poured and drank shots with her regulars at the bar, and then unceremoniously walked out at the end of her shift. The second shift bartender was the only redeeming (friendly) staff encounter we had, but even she couldn't make up for the food. Stale chips, and nachos that were assembled by someone with a major jalapeño fetish. The location in Propser not only looks better, the staff are much friendlier and attentive. If you want Shakertins, go to Prosper.

The chicken sandwich on line was $13.00 but when I got there it was $16.00. And then the onion ring appetizer was $7.00 and I got 7 small onion rings. So with tax and 2.00 tip my total was $31.88. I won't be back.

What a fun place! Great atmosphere and Rick is super nice! We had a fabulous time!!! Would go again!

been coming here a couple weeks Jordan has been great. the bartenders Anissa and Reagan and emarald and Maria make amazing drinks. they have amazing food and great hospitality. it has great music and an amazing vibe.

They advertize a Char-Grilled hamburger, but what we got was griddled! There was NO Char Gilled marking or flavor on the burgers! I was Wholely disapointed in the flavor of this burger! I was puzzled by the fact that when I picked it up, about 1/4 cup of water came out of it as I turned it up to bite it! I think it was steamed! All the excess water then drained out wetting ALL my napkins. We had to ask the waiter several times to give up more napkins. THIS isn't a good thing! I get a better Char Grilled burger from Burger King! Calling it like I see it! Fries were limp and likda soggy! Meh!

New bar in Allen so had to make an appearance. When I go to a neighborhood bar for a day drink I want to be able to talk with the person that I'm with and not have to yell. That's for night life. The volume of the music was so annoyingly loud playing Taylor Swift-type music that it was all I could think of. Three stars, I suppose, for quick service. Menu looked like uppish scale bar food but I probably won't be back to taste it. Careful leaving anything less than 5 stars or the very professional management will trash you.

This place was not at all what I imagined it would be... and on a Friday night! A friend and I came in during Happy Hour and it was very dead. The bartender was very nice who served us and the happy hour drink specials were good. We were starving when we arrived, but found that the menu was very limited. The bartender responded saying "it's bar food". I settled on the Mac and cheese and added bacon. Boy!... Did I feel gypped! I have never had such bland tasing Mac and cheese! I did not feel like making "a thing" of it at the time, and I was starving, so I just ate the noodles along with the few strips of bacon so I could get some flavor with each bite. Definitely not worth what I spent on it. I honestly do not know that I'd ever come back.. I certainly won't be getting the Mac and cheese.. totally underwhelmed by this place.

I like the bar, food, and they have a sliding garage door that opens the bar to the outside.

Great location and amazing setup bar is easy to get to amazing service!!! Prices are true for the quality!!! Very welcoming and accommodating as it is seat your self!!! Plenty of choices with lots of television options for game time and off time!!! Plenty of drink specials and menu options delicious full size pizzas and and much much more!!! Great seating arrangement with comfortable booths and bar stools with middle holds so your feet aren't dangling!! Also great area for stopping in after Top golf or events happening at Allen convention center!!! Pool tables and mini arcade included with certain free pool nights!!! You like mixed drinks this is the place to be!!!! Free beer at half time if your a Cowboys fan!!!

Great service and friendly bartenders. Limited menu but the food is good. Lots of TVs for sports viewing. We watched the Rangers take the World Series here; it was a fun night.

This bar is over-hyped. I wore a jacket to the place and they kept harassing me to take it off when it's 50 degrees outside. You're literally a bar in Allen- not even a club. The one star only goes to the DJ. The food not good either & drinks are mediocre.

Decided to step out for a few last night and went to this place. I had seen it before when I go to the Whole Foods across the street so i thought I'd check it out. Place had a really nice atmosphere and my server Luna made sure my cup was always full. After a few i decided to get a quick bite. She suggested the Bomb Mac which was really good. it was big enough that i took some home and finished for lunch!

I'm from so cal and just happen to be here opening weekend from covid-19. Glad we came... good is on point

Shakertins has a great space and atmosphere with lots of TVs, pretty excited they had every single football game going. The food was decent and they have great deals on drinks, not a bad consideration for your local go to bar! The only reason I brought down some starts is because they don't have much social distancing and the staff was not wearing mask when we were there. Easy to improve and hope they can adjust.

If you maker it to Shakertins, be sure to seek out Nikki, she is amazing and takes care of you like VIP! I was never without a drink and she is a great conversationalist! This place is awesome but Nikki made it that much better.

Super disappointed with the lack of service here. My husband and I have given them two chances and both times we sat for 10-15+ minutes without being acknowledged by the staff. We finally would get fed up enough to leave. While they didn't appear to be busy we would have waited if someone would have at least let us know they'd be with us at some point.

Had a great time, Rick and Olivia were great, best customer service ever! Will definitely recommend this spot.

Came on Fat Tuesday, first time. The smell was overwhelming upon entering. Chemical bathroom smell. Tried overlooking it. Sat at the bar, only a few other ppl in the restaurant. Bartender made us drinks and took our food order. Very small menu, pizza, chicken wings and a couple of sandwiches. Hub had the lemon pepper wings. Said they were super dry, overcooked. I got the steak cheesesteak. It was okay..better then expected. Nothing I'd come back for. The bartender went on break and ate her dinner in the bar area. Other servers were playing around...completely unprofessional. It was a Kitchen Nightmares episode. Based on our experience, this place will not last.

My wife and I came here on a Tuesday for Happy Hour (HH). The menu was different than what was displayed online, which is why I took a star away. Happy Hour online said there would be $2 tacos and $2 domestic beers on Tuesdays. But the actual menu shared that HH is just 15% everything - food and drink. For us, that meant about a $10 savings on the tab. I'm still torn on whether I like this concept. I think this is a second location and that is why the menu is a bit different than what I saw online. But even then, it's easy to add a second menu or a "choose your location" option on the website. The old fashions are hand made and not a premix like a lot of places are going towards these days, so that was great to see. My wife ordered their cucumber vodka drink and liked it. We ordered the Dippin Duo which was spinach artichoke dip and a cup of queso served with tortilla chips on a cutting board. Honestly, the cutting board was clunky and just led to there not being a whole lot of chips. Two cups for the dips and one bowl of chips would have been a better setup. We also got an order of Tots & Strings which were tater tots and string french fries tossed in Parmesan and truffle oil. Honestly, they were very, very good! The place is an open space with a lot of TVs so no matter what game you're trying to catch you should be able to watch it here. I'm a big fan of being able to sit at the bar top from outside when there's nice weather and this place has that. Lastly, the service was very good. We were greeted right away and given a menu. At one point, the music got turned up pretty loud, but I would not go so far as to say it turned us away from ordering another round of drinks.

This place needs Bar rescue! Drinks are expensive, food is sub-par. Ordered the nachos with chicken. The boiled chicken was over boiled with no flavor at all!!!! It was more like chips because their was hardly any cheese. I get the limited menu and having bar food, BUT if bar food is all you are going to offer you better do it GREAT! This place is in an awesome location and this was a Saturday night and it was dead inside. Call John Taffer now, save your investment.

Came here last night to relax and have a drink with a friend. Environment was great. We got there around 9:45pm and it was nice and chill. Music was set just right. I was able to have a convo and hear my bartender the whole night. Ordered the margarita pizza and a few drinks. All of it was really good. Had a crazy incident though, a gentlemen with a prosthetic leg got a little tipsy and struggled getting to his Uber. The staff at Shakertins literally carried this guy out to the Uber and made sure he got in and to his destination. I enjoyed my experience there and will try to frequent more often.

If I were the GM at Shakertins I would be here on a Sunday with the two girls you have staffed helping them out. Not their fault but man. I've asked to put in a drink and food order 40 minutes. Staff your restaurant appropriately or work it yourself. Not fair to the two ladies you have working or your patrons

Great place to watch some NCAA tournament action. And great service, Justin and Kat are awesome.

Hmm... Decor- could be better Service- nothing to rave about Drinks- good Food- meh This location is a lot different than the one near Austin Ranch. It's a good time regardless of the above...if you're going to get a little tipsy you'll enjoy yourself.

We came here for an afternoon cocktail. We tried the berry mule and the onion rings. I tried to order a couple of beers(in a can) off the menu and they were all out. The berry mule had a butter after taste and the onion rings were sub par. All in all I'd probably go somewhere else next time.

I do not recommend this bar unless you want your money stolen from the bartenders. I got a charge $241.62 for no reason the next day I called multiple times for my refund and no answer. This also happened to three of my buddies that same location. My name is francsico lopez I will still like my refund.

My friends and I have come to this location (Allen) a few times and each time the waitresses have been less than stellar but this past Friday was the worst ever. We ordered food and couldn't get anything once our food was just dropped at our table. The waitress with short black hair with red in the front "waited on us" she did not greet us, she never smiled and she seemed to be more bothered than anything. Our drinks were empty for a long time and she never asked to take our order again. We ended up going to the bar after a girl with really blonde hair walked past us and saw we needed napkins and silverware. She brought it over without us asking then got us the other basic needs like ketchup. We decided going forward it would be easier to sit wherever we want and just order from the bar as the waitress doesn't seem to want to take tables. We have had this experience more than twice now and felt you should know. Thank you, Teresa Winert

I have only been to the other location and wouldn't go near any other Shakertins after the experience I had there. A Sunday bartender was beyond rude, yelling and screaming at me over nothing. I called her out on her BS attitude and, wait for it, she actually called the cops on me! The irony was that the drinks weren't for me, I was the designated driver...but of course she didn't know this and was basically using the cops as her muscle, trying to get me thrown in jail. Had I actually been drinking I don't doubt this would have gone down the way she intended. How often do they do this? Cops are usually a concern outside a bar, not inside. What kind of podunk place is this? If you read the reviews on the other location you will get a better idea of how these people run their business, stealing and scamming...the whole kit and caboodle.

I was there Saturday night and had 3 maybe 4 vodka cranberries. I did forget to close my tab but I know they add a 20% tip. Next day, I see my card has been charged $117. I've called everyday just to be told there's no manager present or I am sent to voicemail. I've come to this bar multiple times with no issue but it's crazy that they don't think this is an urgent matter.

If you're looking for a racist experience with bartender Kevin, look no further. I walked up to the bar where Kevin bartended for me. I ask him "what Mexican beers do you have?" Kevin responded with "we don't have anything for Mexicans here" ...btw I'm Mexican. Shakertins needs to weed out their weak.

6/10 food, 7/10 service 6/10 ambiance 10/10 for getting the fights. Good place if your looking to have a couple drinks and watch UFC.

This is my preferred spot out of all the bars. We get shots that aren't on the menu and the bartenders are great. We had a great server named Nikki. If you're seeing this Nikki, that you for the great night. We hope to have you again on karaoke night. Date night was a success! The bar is great for getting friends together and just hanging out or getting crunk, or even watching live sports and pay per views. It's a great experience when you see the football fans cheer. It has pool tables, great music (sometimes live music), and great service from the crew. The food is great as well, and that's not the alcohol talking. The overall experience is great and I definitely plan on coming back!

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT EDIT*** I did get a reach out from the GM team Neil, thank for listening and taking care of the issue at hand. One mistake doesnt define a business as long as its acknowledged and addressed. So I appreciate YOUR care with new comers such as myself and regulars that do give your establishment its trust through these times. So, I'm not one to leave reviews but in this situation I feel its neccessary. A group of us went out for my husbands birthday and quite enjoyed ourselves along with the service which was prompt and friendly. Obviously a well known spot to many this being my first time and coming from a restaurant family background I was happy with my experience with there team while there. My issue lies in the following day I noticed our card had been grossly over charged. 4 shots totalled almost $70. When I called to have the ticket sorted I was told my card was under a tab and party that I had no knowledge and belittled as if I didnt know the people in my party. After being told she couldn't talk to me further because the card was in my husbands name I was shocked at the push back. When my husband called he was told they had cameras and videos of us and proceeded to wrongly tell me what I was wearing and who we were with obviously they thought we were a different group. Insisting we were someone else. She rerang our tab for four shots and I'm only assuming added gratuity saying because we had more than 6 people in our party, because the total still came to $55 for 4 shots. Still doesnt seem right to be saying it's the best she could do and a new receipt copy was never sent. Through the experience with this manager alone I won't be back. A few others from our party had checks that werent correct as well but didnt want the hassel. The rudnest along with the wrong assumptions is baffling to me on a simple check error I had complete understanding of before the conversation.

Seems like it may be a cool place to grab a drink. They may want to consider wearing masks until COVID is under control. No one including the staff was wearing a mask today.

Went in just to get out of the house for a night and had a wonderful time, that dude Kevin begins the bar is legit one of the best bartenders around , he can make any drink and he is makes good conversation, music wasn't to bad either, pizza was danc . I appreciate this place

We were in from out of town and this place gave us the home town local dive bar feel. Bartenders and patrons were all super friendly and the drinks were on point! We will be back in January for round 2 and can't wait!

I came for the Parmesan truffle fries only and I was throughly impressed. I just had a craving for them and this was the closest place. Didn't have high expectations but they exceeded them for sure. The fries were so delicious. I got them to go so I can't speak so much on the service but the guy was friendly. I wanted a water to go and they did not have to go cups. It is a sports bar so I can't say that I'm surprised. It was so much food for like $4 I believe. Can't beat that! 10/10 would recommend the truffle fries.

Cool atmosphere on a NFL Sunday for sure. The Bomb Mac & Cheese was just that! The Angry Porker New Yorker pizza was on point. Oh and my wife loved the skillet peach cobbler.

I was so excited to try this place.. Laidback & fun environment, however the staff working during our visit was very unprofessional and I was terrified by how careless they were about the cleanliness of the place and while handling customers food/drinks :/ I watched two employees play a game of pool and interact with customers and walk straight to the bar to make customers drinks, touching the straws and limes with their fingers without washing their hands, sanitizing, or wearing gloves. This may not bother some people but I don't want my server shaking hands and giving high fives to random customers and then touching the straw that goes into my mouth. Lmao

The food is decent, but they play this really loud club music. Don't really wanna hear Cardi B while I'm eating dinner. At least put on some stuff with guitars.

Might be great as a weekend bar, but dinner tonight was sad. The double burger was about the size of a McDonald's hamburger. Only sides were either shoe string potatoes or tots. They made me a side salad that wasn't on the menu which was very nice of them. Very small beer menu on tap. The server was great, but, we were her only table at 630 pm on a Tuesday. There's other places to go in the area....

We had so much fun watching football here as a family! Kay our server was a Rockstar! We will be back!!

Had a great time at an early happy hour here on a Thursday. Drinks - great! Music - fab (just a bit loud because so few people there). Our bartender was our waitress, and she did a great job taking care of us. There when we needed her but not underfoot. Give this place a try!

This place is fun. I like the atmosphere. Tons of TVs for the game and cold drinks. Friendly staff. Has some good outdoor seating when weather cooperates. The decor is cool... two super long wood pub bar tables.

We have been coming to this bar twice a week since it opened and always have a great experience...BUT we went there last Friday night and had a whole new crew...service sucked...and at 5:45 they had no Clean Shot glasses....Really...Seriously...and the shots were very Disappointing...you don't chill a shot and serve it in plastic....Come on either buy more glasses or clean the ones you have...we tabbed out...Strike 1...we will go back...but after Strike 2 we won't be back...to many other bars to choose from...

This place is like a home away from home! The Dilla Stacker gave me all the mouth feels I was looking for and the tequila, my ohh my! Tequila Thursday should be a holiday. It is at Shakertins anyway..
