Shalhoob's Santa Barbara Style Catering

Loved the fact that we hiked Rattlesnake Canyon leaving us with an off-hour mealtime that coincided serendipitously with happy hour at Shalhoobs. The half rack of ribs was chewy, garlic fries were tasty and definitely frozen, and the kale salad was fresh and tasty with a healthy half serving of avocado. The service was friendly so if the food was better I’d boost the rating. The patio was very spacious and inviting to catch some rays.

Great meat, decent happy hour deals, but a somewhat weird arrangement with COVID where you have to stand in line twice : first to get a table and then to order.

If you want excellent tri-tip this is the place to go. They began as a market selling a variety of beef cuts including the local favorite, tri-tip. They sell marinades and can also pre-marinate your meat if you so desire. A few years ago they launched a restaurant and catering service which is as delicious as the meat they sell. Highly recommended!

Kind of a lame experience. We are locals and enjoy going to the Funk Zone and supporting whenever we can. Just came with my wife and showed up 4 minutes after 7 and was refused service because they close “at 7”. Many tables still hadn’t received their food yet and their website says “open late” on their hours. I wanted to support the locals, especially after the Coronavirus stuff. But seems they don’t want to support or help us! Sad. If you want good tacos go to Santos Mezcal around the corner!

The best tri-tip I have ever eaten! If you are in SB you need to stop here! You will not be sorry! We are having meat sent home frozen to NY.

This little spot was awesome! Right by the beach, super chill. I'd recommend this place for a party forsure.

Bought beef jerky- 2 bags! The beef jerky was extremely dried and really hard to chew! Both bags of beef jerky felt like I was chewing on cardboard! Let's not forget that each 3oz bag was about $7.99. Don't buy this beef jerky!

The BEST! Great food and an even better atmosphere. We ordered the street corn, artichoke dip, and trip tip sandwich. WOW! Expectations exceeded! We were glad we went STRAIGHT TO SOURCE OF SANTA BARBARA STYLE TRI TIP!

Shalhoob's catered our event with over 700 people and they hit the nail on the head. Not one person found anything to complain about, the food was flawless, staff professional yet friendly and attentive. I recommend them for any level of catering from casual to elegant.

Amazing!! Amazing!! Amazing!! Food is beyond delicious, customer service is great! Not a lot of parking but that happens when the place is popular!
