My girlfriend and I were on the hunt for an experience. And for us, that means an entire food style and restaurant the neither of us have ever had. Well, this place was our pick. We enjoyed 2 different versions of the breads (1 Garlic and 1 chicken) We also shared a dish to taste. Both breads were nice, light a delicious. As was our meal. I usually order MEDIUM spice anywhere I go, but here you will want to order mild (glad they told me that) The roasted pepper relish was hot 🔥 but TASTY! Idk exactly what to call the brown sauce but to me it was like a sweet balsamic. I played around and tried everything with the bread, relish and sauce. All flavors played well together Very nice staff, clean dining room and good food. We will be back

I ordered in for my last day on vacation. I was greeted quickly and with a smile . Sat down right away . It seems like it’s ran by the owner and possibly his daughter or a younger girl . Both gave 5 star service . Extremely kind . Nothing but smiles , and were efficient . The meal came out in a very timely manner and I would say the food was a 4/5 . I enjoyed my meal very much and finished every bite . The owner even allows more servings of rice with no cost . The cost of the meal wasn’t bad at all . 35$ for naan/appetizer/coca cola/ main meal . I was sat down in a great spot and the atmosphere of the room is quiet with just enough lighting to write or read a book , but dark enough to have a relaxing dinner. I enjoyed this place a lot and would go back again tonight if I could . Definitely reccomend to anyone .

Although staff were really nice, food was not. Shahi paneer was very sweet. Worst version I ever had. Just green mush, didn't feel the cream. Mixed veg was undercooked and tasteless. Samosa was OK, aloo paratha was good. One chutney was too spicy the other one very very sweet. Just go to the other Indian restaurant in town it's really good.

My wife and have been dining at the Shalimar for over 25 years and we have never had a bad experience. The food is delicious and the folks are wonderful.

Google
Don’t go to this place ever. Better eat some pizza or chipotle. The owner disrespected all of his customers. We ordered food for $100 or so as we were coming from long distance and no Indian restaurant near us. We ordered chicken biryani- they just poured some red chilli powder. We couldn’t even eat one spoon. We all got stomach pain. Rice was kind of pulao. The chicken masala is very sweet. They just added some ketchup or something. We couldn’t eat that too. Veg pakora is worst of all. Not cooked at all. Garlic nan is not so good. Owner was too rude and not even taking our feedback. In reverse he lecturing us saying this is my recipe and I look like this only.

Google
My mom and I dined in last night for the first time and it was fantastic! The garlic naan and chicken masala were highlights of our meal. The owner was very attentive and even provided free refills of rice! Great food, great atmosphere, great prices, and overall a great time.

Google
Tips for the visitor, their mild spice level is super mild so if you like spicy food then make sure you make the right choice. Food was below average, aalu paratha was filled with plain potatoes not even a pinch of salt and spice. Veg appetizer and chaat was ok, but other veg main course options that we tried were not so good.

Google
It's a small restaurant with a simple menu but was kept clean and service was good. The food was prepared quickly but was tastier. We ordered veggie pakoras, baingan bartha and roti. We asked for yogurt and got it immediately which tasted like home preparation. Thank the chef who did a good job.

Yelp
Amazing spot! Love eating in and taking out from here. Ordered paneer tikka masala and aloo naan tonight and it was delicious.

Yelp
We got takeout, so I can't comment on the ambiance of the restaurant. Food was delicious-I ordered saag paneer and lamb masala, and vegetable pakoras. It arrived hot and nicely packaged, with both sweet and spicy sauces for the pakoras. Portions were ample and it was all very good. What we did not have was utensils, which was a bit of a challenge. If you get takeout, be sure to ask for utensils.

Yelp
Stoped here once a few years ago.. stayed in NH for a week and got take out twice! Phenomenal food! Owner and daughter were both very personable... I preferred the first time when I dined inside (had my pup with me this time). pleasant atmosphere, good ambiance... quaint & quiet... highly recommend! Thank you so much, see you next time!!!

Yelp
What can I say besides wow just wow! I was up in North Conway for work and design to stop by for some indian food. I stumble upon this little gem of a restaurant. Right off the main street and had plenty of parking which is always a plus. We went in and the staff was super friendly and even helped me decide on what to order. I ended up going with the Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic nan. Excellent choices if you haven't tried too much indian food. I asked for mine mild but you can order it spicy too. They had plenty of seating indoors and looks like they had some outdoor patio area as well but it was cold so I stayed indoors. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place if you're in the area I'd recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala!

Jenn F.

Yelp
All of a sudden serving sizes are deceasing. The naan was half the size. We go here often so the difference is noticeable. Tourism is booming in the valley. There was a 45 min wait tonight. No excuse to skimp. Greed loses customers.

Yelp
Great food good ambience. Service can be improved slightly but overall great food. Paneer tikka masala was great

Yelp
The best Indian food you'll find in the valley! Love the Paneer Marsala. Great service and always hot and fresh!

Yelp
I am a big fan of Indian spices. I get the takeout. Always timely and love Naan Give it a try.

Yelp
They are selling it here in remote part of New Hampshire for a reason, how else will anyone let sell such food back home. They will throw you out. So, you come to U.S to fool people with theatrics. Yes, I am indian and I am pretty good cook before you even start justifying this place. People eat this food and they will start voting for Trump to throw us out. Be careful before you entertain this excuse for a restaurant. Now for the food: they have generic gravy for everything with sugar cream and tomatoes read other brown people's review to understand. They probably don't know what garam masala is or they might have confused mountain dirt for garam masala. Naan, Roti, paratha are all the same to this restaurant. Well they use generic gravy, probably same with bread. Edit: To the guy defending in other review that they don't have access to Indian groceries, dude, there is lobster place in the town! This is a business and some charity. Indian groceries are 95% same as regular american. Just the spices. U can get those and refill once in two years. You're not in Shara desert. It's just a small town. Doesn't change the fact that it's shit place. Samosa : 3/5 Naan:1/5 Lassi: 3/5 All 6 curries I ordered : 1/5 Experience : 0/5

Yelp
Really good Indian food and friendly people! Awesome! Would be even cooler if their ours included lunch time.

Yelp
This was an interesting stop during our vacation to North Conway. It seems there were some mixed reviews and I understand why. The food wasn't bad, but there was something not quite authentic about the quality. I'm convinced I by the same veggie samoas at our local Indian store in the frozen section. Which isn't bad, since I obviously like them, but it makes me question the other stuff a bit. The staff was really friendly and quick!! And my favorite part was they put smiley faces on all the containers. Adorable. How could you not enjoy that meal?! I was pleasantly surprised with the level of heat too. We got all three levels of spice and my mouth was definitely burning from the hot item!! I was not expecting anything close to that amount of spice from this little town. Overall, it was really nice having and Indian restaurant to eat at while on vacation. I completely understand that it may be hard to access the same kinds of food when you're not ad close to a big city. But if your looking for some spice, this is a great local place to stop!

Sue P.

Yelp
Food was delicious and plentiful. Take out order was ready when promised. Wish they were open for dine in, but understand their limitations post Covid with low staffing levels.

Yelp
We visited Great Glen for the snowcoach experience and found this place by chance just because we wanted to have something Indian before we got back home. We were warmly welcomed by an old Indian lady - somebody mentioned about a septuagenarian running the place. I think she is more of an octogenarian. She took us to where we could sit and made sure we were comfortable. Then came a young and vibrant waitress who gave the menu cards and took our orders. The restaurant had a clean setup and Desi feel to it. We ordered a Dhal soup, veg biryani, aloo paratha and raitha. The food didn't take long to be served. One common problem we found was the salt shortage in everything we had. To be honest, biryani didn't taste biryani and it looked and tasted more of a sambar rice. It was soggy a bit and had most of the vegetables in the size of a baby potato. I usually like my food spicy and asked for Hot level. But the biryani had spice that was raw and harsh on the mouth. The dhal soup and the aloo paratha tasted bland. We got there at around 5 and the place was soon buzzing with a lot of people walking in and all of them were Americans. Made it clear that it was a local favorite, catering to its audience's taste and did it really provide an authentic flavor that a native Desi could wish for. Wondering why still rated this place a 3 star? Watch the old lady in action- from welcoming people to, seating them(literally carrying chairs for toddlers), waiting them, making sure people got what they need, checking them out and to clearing the dishes off the tables. She is of my grandma's age and was a total all rounder who left us in awe with her multi-ability and kindness. She truly is a Star!

Yelp
Never been disappointed. The food is fresh and delicious. I've been several times and love the chicken vindaloo and samosa. I feel like this is one of the hidden gems in the area.

Yelp
Only take out in July 2023. Best and only Indian food in town. Punjabi mostly. Everything we got was quite good.

Yelp
This place is still the best! Living in Boston I can say with certainty that this is better than any Indian restaurant in Boston, hands down. The people who work there are so nice too. I still think the malai kofta is the best dish on the menu. Can't go wrong here, love it!
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
Good for Indian but the staff are SO rude! I tried to place an order for takeout and asked one question about whether they had an item on the menu. I was driving so I couldn't look online and the guy flipped out, told me to look it up myself and call back. Needless to say, I did not place an order tonight after that attitude.
google avatar

Amit B.

Yelp
This is one of the worst Indian restaurants ever. They served paratha and called them "naan", they cooked paneer masala in tomato ketchup. Taste was average, quantity was very less for the high prices of dishes like 13-14$ per curry. Only good thing was butter milk. PS : Thr is no dal tadka in the menu.

Himanshu K.

Yelp
Eat grass rather than eating at this place. This was the only sour experience in our very rewarding New Hampshire trip. This place prepares food which is worse than amateur Indian cooking. The owner is extremely rude and arrogant, and top everything up with exorbitant prices. If you are still visiting then do so at your own risk and hey I missed one more point - they don't offer dine in. So, plan accordingly.

Yelp
We landed here as we were looking for indian food for my mom.. food was okay nothing spectacular, service was pathetic. We ordered the veggie platter which was decent, however the green chutney comes for a price( not kidding!!!). For main course we ordered dal makhani, baingan bhartha, shahi paneer korma- all okay, chana masala was too much tomato gravy and can be missed. Aloo paratha had no taste, garlic naan was quite good Mango lassi was nice, we pretty much filled up on it. The owner was not welcoming and a bit rude and other servers seemed irritated if we asked for more items!!!There were really old aunties lifting and serving food which they seemed to be barely able to hold.. Sadly, I wish I had followed the reviews of other yelpers.. definitely on point.

Yelp
My cousin wanted to have some Indian food on our way to the Shabaday falls so we stopped here. The place is on the second floor. The interiors were okay. The lighting was dim and yellow. We ordered some mango lassi, naan, Shahi paneer. The shahi paneer came with a serving of rice. We did ask food to be spicy and it wasn't. The naan was dry. Mango lassi was absolutely delicious. The food came out quickly though but was nothing to write home about.

Gustatory Nirvana P.

Yelp
Tacky interiors, average energy and most below average food. Managed by a bunch of septuagenarian women, I imagined that the place would be good, pure and fresh. One reason why someone would visit them is that they NEED to eat Indian food and there isn't any option in 200 miles. Stale food from the deepfreeze, tempered and sautéed but absolutely no flavor. Rice is made once in 15 days and then dipped in boiling water to make it fresh. I was shocked with the quality and flavorlessness of the food. Indian food is easy to create and also make fresh. I wonder what ethos does a restaurant live and breathe when they confidently serve such stale food. Never again!!!

Rob S.

Yelp
Great food and service! They serve you a full glass of wine to the rim. Food is breaking good and service is excellent
google avatar

Ashish S.

Yelp
The food was an absolute disservice to the name of indian food. We ordered samosa, chicken curry, chicken biryani, and saag paneer. The samosa and saag paneer were okayish. The curry was flavorless and tasted like ramen noodles. The biryani tasted like sambar rice with raw red chilly powder. To make it worse, they put peas in it.
google avatar

Jeremy B.

Yelp
It was fine. It was about the same quality as what you can easily make at home with a jar of Indian simmer sauce.
google avatar

Ben S.

Yelp
The flavors were good but ask for them to use less oil if you don't want to consume a quarter bowl of oil with whatever dish you get. It is completely useless to use THAT much oil in a dish - the oil itself doesn't even add flavor - especially as they said it was soy bean oil they use. Prices may have been a bit too high for what you get. Staff was friendly. They were very concerned when I didn't eat my meal.

Yelp
We have been coming to this restaurant for 22 years. The service is fabulous. We only come in June and the staff remembers us and what we like to order!!

Jolly Roger's Ranch R.

Yelp
I'm typing as I'm finishing an outstanding dinner of beef biryani, lamb rogan josh, naan bread, and delightful keema samosas. The flavors are so awesome. Such a delicious break from the standard NH fare. And this is warmed up take out!! I can't imagine how awesome it would be eaten right out of the kitchen. As always, the staff is friendly, engaging, recognized and pleasantly greeted my wife even though she hasn't been in there for over a year. Just super delightful people. Useful review aside, now to engage in some general confrontational banter: Gotta give a shout out to my boy Latish K who commented 8/6/21. There is a popular phrase in the English vernacular: "ignorance is bliss." By your very evident missing of the point of my last review post...I surmise you must enjoy a very happy existence. Responding to your post: You said: "To the guy defending in other review that they don't have access to Indian groceries, dude, there is lobster place in the town!" --(Yes Latisha, there are many lobsters here...it is New England after all) You said: "Indian groceries are 95% same as regular american" --(Latisha, this would obviously then beg the question of the wisdom of anyone ever starting an Indian grocery store in America...and...also just as an aside...the word "American" is written with a capital A) --only because you're obviously a stickler for detail and tradition. You said: "So, you come to U.S to fool people with theatrics." --(Are you accidentally reviewing the wrong place? Are we talking about a dinner theater now?? -- LMAO) Now the moral lesson from me to you at no charge: Dude, this is a small family run business. You live in an environment where your unsolicited opinions carry very little weight really. In your overly populated and congested realm, your reviews are basically meaningless without any real impact or consequence. In a small rural community on the other hand, reviews can make a very big difference. You can really have a negative impact on a small family business such that the business loses needed clientele. This impacts actual people man. And yet you're never held accountable for what you say, for you it's just tapping your little thumbies and spouting off with no consequence because you're probably a sad little discontented city turd, who needs opportunities like this to feel like a big important guy that matters. You're clearly not willing to come move up here, be a part of our community, and do better, so why make things harder on those who are? This family has been serving the valley for years. They are wonderful people. Food not authentic enough for you? Gosh! Sorry bout that snow-flake! Maybe you should just eat at home mmmmkay? As I said in my other post, if the food is not a good representation of the traditional cuisine, it isn't up to your highly sophisticated standards and distinguished palate... well, come on up!! Open up your own place and do better. OR...If, as you say, the traditional American grocery stores have 95% of what you need to make excellent cuisine, then you should be able to cook your own food to your liking while visiting here. AND this brings the added benefit of you not clogging up our restaurants so locals who actually live here can enjoy a night out without a 45 minute wait. AND also you don't spread your COVID germs around our community. Hey, I'll tell you what. If you'd like, why not reach out to me by e-mail. Next time you're in the area we'd be happy to host you at our farm, we'll buy all the ingredients and even pay you for your time, and you can prepare the finest Indian cuisine and educate me on what makes the difference! My house is your house! Until then, why don't you ponder this quote from Hank Williams Jr. "Cause I think what they done Is well worth doin' And their doin' it the Best way that they can Oh you're the only one That you are screwin' When you put down what You don't understand" Financial Disclosure: --I am a 20+ year member of the North Conway community. I have no relationship with Shalimar other than the fact that I LOVE their food and am extremely grateful for their presence and hard work.

Yelp
Amazing quality of food here gives this place an automatic 5*. We were greeted and seated immediately by a friendly gentleman. The waitress was over immediately and was courteous and attentive. We ordered the Vegetable Samosas, Garlic Nan and Chicken Tika Masala. I love Indian cuisine and this was some of the best that I've had the pleasure of having. Vacationing in the area and this was the #1 spot we have dined at yet. Would recommend 100%! Not sure why it's not rated higher but seems significantly underappreciated.

Yelp
You would notice a pattern in the reviews for this restaurant. Almost all Indians have given it a poor rating and rightly so! Read until the end as each point is a gem of its own. 1. The leading lady (and you will realize who is she once you step in) is downright mean to Indians and gives preference to others. We noticed her welcoming people who came much later than us, despite us waiting for 45 mins. 2. When we got our seats, she whispered "I'm giving you seats but don't expect food anytime soon". This makes no sense. If you are this slow in serving orders, why not get the orders when you jot down the list of names in waitlist. 3. People who sat after us, got served before us. And the management has no idea of prioritization. To keep customers engaged, they could have served appetizers on the house. 4. When we were served our order, the quantity is laughable. Its the serve size of a chihuahua. After all the build up, the bowl size was not even enough for one person. 5. The food taste was good, but not unforgettable (unlike their attitude). 6. While we were eating, the elderly ladies tried to slowly get the partially eaten food away. Her reasoning behind such an act is, "You must have finished eating this, right?". We had to explain her FIVE TIMES that we are not done yet. Either they have less plates in their arsenal or they just want Indians to leave as soon as possible. 7. We paid around $100 for a party of 4. This restaurant is expensive for the price you pay in terms of time, patience, self respect, meager portions and experience-with-the-leading-ladies. I'm sure for a long time, the customers will remember the service rather than the taste. Not recommended.

Nisha S.

Yelp
After reading mixed reviews, I was a little skeptical to get food from here. My kids wanted Indian food after a tiring day in the mountains. We got Paneer masala, Daal makhanwala and Garlic naan. The taste was not 100% authentic, however the food was freshly made, and my kids enjoyed it thoroughly.
google avatar

Mirza A.

Yelp
The lead lady/owner was rude. Probably an attitude towards Indians. This kind of behavior I have faced with many other Indian restaurant. I stop by this restaurant even after reading average reviews - my mistake. The food is average not worth the price. The servicer are old ladies and they were quick and congenial. Giving 2 stars for those old women who served us. Otherwise it's 1 stars.
google avatar

Gaurav R.

Yelp
If you are looking for Indian food, this place is NOT AUTHENTIC INDIAN CRUSINE. However, this is the only Indian restaurant in the area. Pros: - Fast service -well behaved and kind staff Cons: - Quite expensive, is a tourist trap - Food is not authentic - The gravy for the dishes that we ordered were nearly the same. The dishes had the same color. - Naan is not actual naan. It's more like a roti. Overall I'd say go here, for a fast and OK meal. Nothing special

Yelp
Super nice staff Food was OK. We went for the baighan bharta, aloo Gobi and pakoras. We prefer a smoke flavor in our baighan and unfortunately there was none The aloo Gobi was ok, it did not have a ton of flavor Pakoras were fine, but more mush than fried. I don't want to leave a horrible review for this place because it is a pleasure to have an Indian restaurant in this area, unfortunately if I have to give a truthful review, the food is just ok, not amazing. The food was not terrible, but compared to Indian restaurants back home, this one wouldn't stack up.

Elizabeth E.

Yelp
Best Indian food for miles! Extremely delicious. Staff is pleasant. Makes for such a lovely warm dining experience! I will go any time I'm allowed.
google avatar

Nishant G.

Yelp
This is the only Indian restaurant in the Conway Area & hence get flocked by too many people looking for Indian food especially during fall foilage season. Wait times can be as long as 60-90 mins. Food is fine.
google avatar

Jared R.

Yelp
I went here with my parents to give them a taste of Indian food and this definitely did not disappoint. I started off with the basics (appetizer sampler, Tikka masala etc) but I got my favorite (the korma) and everything came together well. The food was nice, the view was good, and the staff was friendly. Definitely worth a look for when you just gotta have some Indian food.
google avatar

Kelley H.

Yelp
I've been a regular here for years, but started yelping not too long ago. I had chicken saag, tikka masala, and garlic nan. It did not disappoint! We asked for medium heat and I appreciate that it was indeed medium heat and not modified for an American.
google avatar

Yelp
We love Shalimar! The Valley is lucky to have such a great Indian restaurant in the area. All of the vegetarian dishes are very good, but the Baingan Bharta is exceptional! Their spice levels are just right - I make mine medium hot and that's what they deliver. And the staples like the naan and raita deliver.
google avatar

Kristin D.

Yelp
I have eaten at many Indian Food restaurants, Indian Food Restaurants in every major US city. Sadly, there are none that compare to Shalimar. This is my standard. Shalimar is a small family run business. The food is FRESH, and it is all made there. They make their own Paneer (cheese), they make their own samosas, and the dough for them. If it can be made from scratch- they do it. Their menu is Northern Indian cuisine. The Vegetarian options are AMAZING. Have a special diet? Diabetic? Vegan? They will accommodate you! My favorites are anything in the Masala sauce- Chicken Tikka Masala, Malai Kofta, Paneer Masala. the Do-Piayza- Peppers and Onions in a fire roasted tomato sauce- is the stuff dreams are made of. Their Masala Tea (Chai) is the BEST I have ever had, Mango Lassi- you won't find a nicer thick Lassi anywhere! This restaurant is CLEAN, the service is OUTSTANDING, and we absolutely love it here!
google avatar

Rokaya H.

Yelp
We ended up here on Christmas Day because they were the only restaurant open. So we weren't expecting much but then we loved it! The food was very tasty. Their Masala is amazing and all their sauces. Very friendly staff!

Yelp
Yeah, I did not much care for my dinner here. I really love Indian cuisine so I eat it often, even when traveling. And since I live in So Cal, I know exactly where to go to enjoy fantastic Indian & Pakistani food, which is the community of Artesia so believe me when I say the Chicken Tika Masala & the Beef Vindaloo I had were unimpressive. The beef was tough and chewy which is a no-no for this stew dish. The chicken was less tough but the sauce was not creamy & rich enough. I will give them credit for making the dishes spicy. So 2 stars from me: 1 for the spicy dishes & 1 for the two attractive servers.

Amanda F.

Yelp
By far the best Indian food in the north country. Only wish it was a little cheaper. But it's for sure my and my husbands favorite special dinner spot. Plus the owners and employees seem so so kind.
google avatar

Jon B.

Yelp
We had a great time... authentic Indian cuisine. Not sure what other recent reviewers are talking about.. I know Indian food well. And while the food here is not as heavy as other Indian restaurants I think that is the difference people are noticing. A lot of other establishments use liberal amounts of heavy cream and salt to make their food delicious. Here the dishes are a little lighter and the portions are also modest. Which is a refreshing change. We left not feeling "ill" or over fed. Other times I eat Indian food its so rich that I get a little indigestion or sour stomach hours later. But I'm writing this review 4 hours after my dinner and I feel great! The people working there are very friendly and always made sure we were happy. A great place.. we will be back next year!

Yelp
If this restaurant was in Seattle, it would be a 4 star Indian restaurant, but given that it's not in a big city with lots of other ethnic food, it gets 5 stars. I ate here with my family while we were cross country skiing on vacation and we were stunned with how good the place was. My dad and I got chicken vindaloo and both asked for it *very* spicy. It was delicious, but they were so worried they had given us something that we couldn't eat that they came back out offering to remake it if it was too spicy. We assured them it wasn't and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. We also got vegetable samosas which were delicious. The waitstaff was incredibly warm, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy, inviting and just generally relaxed. My family has since gone back most times they are skiing up there and each time they have been reminded of how good this place is. I would recommend anyone traveling through eat here if they can make the time.

Yelp
Bad bad bad. Naan was awful, which should have served as a warning. Seriously, the frozen stuff you buy at the grocery store and heat up at home is infinitely better. We ordered three dishes to share: chicken tikka masala, chana masala, and a veggie dish (cannot recall the name, but it had a yellowish sauce). As soon as the tikka masala was placed on the table, I smelled tomato paste. Anyone who enjoys this dish knows the tomato-based sauce should be made from actual tomatoes, never paste. It's all I could taste. Plus the chicken wasn't right. I prefer a slow-cooked chicken that shreds, this was sautéed chunks that were reminiscent of those frozen TV dinners. It was just bad. The tikka masala sauce tasted as bad as it smelled. The chana masala sauce was slightly less awful than the tikka masala, but it's flavor was overall based on salt. In fact, my mouth tasted of salt for a couple hours after the meal. The veggie thing was not any better, sadly. Veggies were not fresh but obviously frozen. My daughter said the sauce had a "seafood" flavor. I actually didn't mind this sauce but yeah, it was weird. I feel bad as the servers were kind and attentive, but man that food was the worst Indian I've ever had.

Yelp
Desiring something international after a bad attempt at Thai food, we stopped here for Indian. The atmosphere is friendly. The naan was average. Both of our meals were pretty good and came out fairly quickly. I liked my son's beef jalfrezi better than my chicken vindaloo. But so did he, so I was outta luck.

Yelp
Well, it's the best Indian food you'll find in North Conway. That's not saying much as it's the only indian restaurant in the area. Food was ok, bkand flavors. I tried the aloo palak and that chana masala. Very bland. Naan was disappointing. Not the worst food I've had but when you're craving indian it just didn't fulfill my desires.

Yelp
This place was solid without being outstanding. That said, the service was good. The spice levels were perfect, and the flavor was authentic. We stuck to the known stuff: chicken saag, matar paneer, and chana masala. All in all, it satisfied our indian food craving..
