I tried three of their signature bowls—one with chicken, one with kebab, and one with fish—and each one was a hit! The proteins were all fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. What makes these bowls even better is the wide variety of fresh, crunchy vegetables and the amazing sauces that pull everything together with bold, flavorful kicks. You can choose from rice, brown rice, or quinoa as your base, which is great if you're watching your diet or just looking for healthier options. Whether you're after something hearty or something clean and light, there's a combo for everyone. Fresh, filling, and full of flavor—definitely worth a visit!

This hidden gem restaurant in montreal is my favourite! 🌯 Hands down the best falafel in town — crispy outside, fluffy inside, packed with flavour. The owner is the sweetest, hardworking soul who puts so much love into the place. Tons of vegetarian, vegan, and halal options — perfect for everyone. Don’t miss out Mint lemon juice and baklava 😋 Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can not recommend this place enough. Literally a 100/10 !!! Food is delicious and tasty, ingredients are fresh and the place is so nice and cozy. Khal, the owner of the restaurant is one if the sweetest person ever and the staff are so professional and friendly. Ton Bol Ton Kiff Has vegan and vegetarian options. I tried the vegan fish which was delicious. The food is halal which is a plus plus. Don't forget to try the limonade and the baklawa! The best in town. Will be back for sure. 🥰

DELICIOUS! Extremely welcoming and friendly owners very happy to explain everything to you. The absolute best falafels I have ever tasted! Even my son with Autism will eat them. You can’t tell that the meat is vegan - it is so delicious. You will not be disappointed. EV chargers directly across the street. Juste Falafel will become one of your regular restaurants!

Will definitely come back again :) We got: -2 falafel bowls -vine leaves -homemade lemon mint drink I would definitely recommend the vine leaves and the homemade drink if you like acidic tasting things! The drink was so refreshing 🍋

If you’ve been here before, its time to revisit! They’ve refreshed their menu to now include meat options (recommend the chicken) and theyve now brought a healthy on the go (bowl style) alternative in Little Italy! If you are a lover of Poulet Rouge, get ready because this their bowl is insanely tasty, generous sizing at a super fair price! Going forward, this will be my go to lunch spot, especially after a shopping session at jean talon market!

Yelp
We were in town due to a business meeting and since we had a vegan amongst us, we decided to come to Sham's. It's kind of a food store for vegans that serve lunch too. I'm not vegan but I like a lot of vegan dishes because they're very tasty and many times super healthy. We ordered pita wrapped falafel and shawarma sandwiches along with fries & poutine. We also got vegan baklava too. Wow what a lunch. Definitely enjoyed it and would certainly recommend this place especially if you're vegan. They have a lot of stuff and even if you're not vegan, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the food. The flavors are probably amazing.

Yelp
This was one of the best meals I had in Montreal. Casual, spacious and comfortable place -- you order at the counter. They offer plates, sandwiches, wraps, and other items, mostly Middle Eastern style but they push the boundaries. I ordered plate with vegan shawarma ("beef") and kebab ("chicken"), which came with salad and rice ($15.99 plus tax). I got a massive bowl. Very generous portion of both types of vegan meat, fresh salad leaves among other veggies, a big portion of yellow rice underneath, and a dollop of what seemed like vegan tzatziki or something. Everything was absolutely delicious. Super friendly service, reasonably priced, generous portions, delicious food -- what more can you ask for? Highly recommended.

Yelp
A new Vegetarian/Vegan place I have to check it out, they sell Vegan Shawarma I must check it out, Syrian style- I am there !!!! They place has a very new-age/ hip vibe not what you expect from a falafel (unless you are the green panther), selling a lot of veggie side products (none are real Syrian stuff ... quiet disappointing). Price: 8$ for a wrap or 12$ for a plate, a little pricy but the quality is good Food: Very tasty, all the "'meat" is made from mushrooms real nice. Btw my son had the "chicken" nuggets made from tofu but they tasted like a frozen product that was cooked not made on the spot. Overall it was very tasty and very good and if I am in the area I will defiantly re-visit

Yelp
Sham has an extensive menu comprising many Middle Eastern classics (like shawarma, shish taouk, falafel, tajine, hummus, kibbeh, etc.) - but veganized! I was delightfully surprised to find vegan baklava too. I ordered the shawarma plate, which came with lots of salad and rice. The portion was generous and filling, and the food was delectable. The shawarma was flavorful and its soft but chewy texture was on point. Bonus points: the takeout containers are compostable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
I've come back to Sham and I am so happy that they now serve and even sell the Beyond Burger patty. The food was great as usual, I recommend trying their harissa!

Yelp
The shwarma was so incredible-- get the "assiete" (plate) with salad and yellow rice, which includes a white garlic sauce that I could swim in, it was so delectable. The woman who works there is warm and welcoming, and I was tempted to buy a gallon of garlic sauce to go. Please go here. Support local immigrant businesses (and it's delicious!!)

Yelp
What an amazing find! Like someone else mentioned, my friend and I were on our way to the Jean-Talon Market and unexpectedly saw the large window signs on the building which showed some eye-catching vegan food. The owner is super friendly. He openly shared with us his story, passion, and reasons for opening a great vegan restaurant with nutritious offerings. The vegan meat that they have is a delicious original creation that is flavored in multiple different sauces. The food was super fresh, colorful, flavorful, affordable, beautiful and interesting. It had great appeal. I highly recommend this place. If I lived in Montreal, I would be a regular - no question!

Yelp
Delicious food with lots of flavour. We had the shish taouk plate and a shwarma combo along with khebe (our favourites were the spinach ones). Everything was fresh and hot and much better than similar dishes we've had elsewhere - vegan or non vegan. Will be back!

Yelp
Great vegan Lebanese food! My boyfriend (not vegan) and I were really impressed by the shish taouk! Only complaint is it's a little on the pricey side, my boyfriend was still hungry afterwards but I was okay.

Yelp
I just happened to drive by on my way to the Jean Talon market and saw the sign saying Vegetarian/Vegan. So of course I had to come try it out. I didn't expect to have another delicious option nearby. I've had Gusto last time. I've never had vegetarian shawarma before and it exceeded my expectations. I believed it was seitan based but the owner said mushroom and soy and they season and marinate it so it's really tender and flavorful. I just got the shawarma wrap and 6 falafel. The falafel were also amazing but I saw a lot of people getting shawarma plates. They were huge! Probably enough to share for 2 people. Next time I'm definitely going to try that and their shish taouk (chicken). I wish I lived nearby it's nice to have more options than just salad dips and falafel for Syrian food. They seem really friendly as well. Such a nice surprise to find.

Yelp
Excellent and fresh vegan fare with delicious flavor. It's addictive:) Sham is our favorite family food especially when we're ultra hungry (which is often). Even the non-vegans in our fam love it. Try the baklava! Highly recommend Sham.

Yelp
