Equal parts Irish pub, brewery, and community hangout, Shamrock pours house beers alongside hearty Celtic fare. Westword praises its Irish Red; the brewery confirms daily service and weekend brunch. We have talked about stopping 100 times. Today we did and we will.be. coming again. The food was amazing, the service awesome and the atmosphere made us feel welcome and plenty tvs to watch you favorite team or 10. Highly recommend the corned beef hash if you stop for brunch. You won't be disappointed or leave hungry!!!

Google
Cute little Irish Pub we came across. We were just looking for a drink and going to a brewery is always fun with their different varieties. I ordered a raspberry provisional and was delicious. The waitress are knowledgeable on their drinks and very outgoing and friendly. We definitely need to try the food next time because it looked great. The place filled up pretty quickly and had tvs all over.

Friendly staff, quick seating, food quality was great. Looked like an bar only at first but the diner seating was in a different section. Kid friendly

Anya was a fabulous server-friendly and helpful. She suggested the Irish Boxty, and it was fabulous! The bread pudding was to die for, and chef Gordo even delivered it to our table! We shared both and it was the perfect amount, with a flight of beers. Thanks for a lovely evening.

We went here as a group for dinner and they were friendly and accommodating to our larger party. The service was great and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I had a prickly pear cider that was quite tasty. I had fish and chips this time, but would try something else if we ate here again.

Google
The best food ever!!! I saw a video of this guy eating the green chili Mac and cheese. It was enough to try it out. Me and the grandsons went to try it out today. It was even better than he said! Everything we ordered was so amazing!!! The honey Sriracha chicken sandwich was enormous! He said it was the very best chicken sandwich he has ever had. The Ruben was amazing also! He said it was the best one he ever had. The bread is so rich! The other one got the Irish club. This thing was around 3 inches thick. It's a regular club sandwich around an inch thick with a around an inch of corned beef on top of that. Amazing!!! Great service! Was working so couldn't try their beer, but next time for sure!!!!

Google

Yelp
It was a Friday night, almost 6 PM... the joint was busy and crowded. We had barely beat the rush and we were seated almost immediately. Great service, atmosphere and wonderful food and drinks! I just had to have the fish and chips, two or three pieces, two was just right and I couldn't finish the scrumptious chips. The cole slaw was tasty, too. My wife had Shamrock's Aungus Burger with cheese and chips, which she very much enjoyed, especially the chips. Shamrock, I believe, is Pueblo's first craft brewery (2005). I had a PAPA (Pueblo American Pale Ale, Columbus, Citra and Amarillo hops, 6.2% ABV) and my sweetie had Shamrock's root beer, both were very enjoyable. We also shared a Cheating Death (for dessert) - a Chocolate Coconut Porter (aged on dessicated coconut and Belgian dark chocolate, 7.4% ABV [chalkboard stated 8.0%]), the Porter was rich and creamy. I didn't particularly notice the dark chocolate but the coconut came through subtilty as I sipped. I most definitely recommend Shamrock Brewing and look forward to exploring both the food and beer offerings in future. Thank you, Shamrock Brewing, for a lovely respite and welcoming escape from the usual day-to-day runaround.

Yelp
The food was great, but the indoor temperature was unbearable. Even the staff mentioned they were working in conditions exceeding 100 degrees due to inadequate air conditioning. Unfortunately, food wait times were extremely long--unless you're the mayor, who appeared to receive special treatment. Must be nice to be Heather! Update-Shawn thanks for addressing the air conditioning but you negated my question about the Mayor getting preferential treatment over every other table. Please explain yourself.

Yelp
This is a beautiful place and so much more than a brewery. Lots of history on display, as evidenced by the gorgeous wood flooring, long mahogany bar, and vintage tile flooring. Drank a tasty brown porter with my lunch of Scotch eggs and Irish ale cheese soup. It was a sufficiently hearty meal before my long drive to Fort Collins. If I lived in Pueblo, I'd be here all the time!

Yelp
Ordered pickup via their online ordering system on the restaurant homepage. I selected the order ahead option as I was placing my order before they were open. The confirmation page indicated an order ready time prior to 11am and gave a number to call with problems. No one answered the phone so I left a message indicating the order time issue. Upon arrival the hostess gave my a friendly greeting and let me know she had my order ready. I asked her about the time mix up and she indicated their system has an issue with acceping ahead orders so my food was ready anwhere from 45 to 15 minutes early causing the warm items to cool significantly. She did offer to get the chef for me which I declined as I am OK reheating as needed. The scotch eggs, even luke warm, were delicious. The sausage has a hint of sweetness and I can tell if they were eaten freshly fried there would br a delightful crunch on the outside which is mutted at the cooler temperature. While tasty, the amount of mustard dipping sauce is excessive for the portion. The Irish ale cheese soup was super rich and creamy with wonderfully savory cheese flavor. I didnt even reheat my cup and it was great. Perfect for dippling crusty bread. Slightly over salted which I don't mind but others with different preferences may. Would come back for another cup of this soup alone! The pub salad was a good size portion of fresh Lettuce topped with ample dried cranberries and croutons. Highly recommend the Honey beer mustard dressing but the takeout portion is a little small for the salad size. My order did include a drink which was left out and I forgot to ask for so partly my fault. Nice itish-pub esthetic clean establishment with a big bar and multi-room booth seating for dinning in. Parking was a little limited as I had to park on Santa Fe due to the spaces on 3rd being full (11:30am on a Wednesday).

Yelp
One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Meatloaf was cooked to perfection had a nice crust even at the bottom and with that Jamison barbecue sauce took over the top. The garlic mash was incredible and I wish I had more of the vegetables too they were seasoned and grilled to perfection. The service was great as always an atmosphere is always welcoming.

Yelp
My recent travels had me in Pueblo three times over the past month and each time I ate at Shamrock Brewing. Convenient off I-25 with easy parking. Staff is super friendly and attentive...even on busy Friday evenings. Be sure to try the Ruben - it's one of the best I've ever had.

Yelp
I came upon this place on our way from Denver to Mosca and it was busy at 5 pm on a Wednesday, perhaps because of the holiday weekend. We ordered an appetizer of Scotch eggs and it came fairly quick. The eggs were done well and the mustard went really well with it! For entrees we had the Bangers and smash and Meatloaf. The entrees took a while to be served though. The Bangers were good but the gravy was a little on the salty side. However the veggies on the side were so good - perfectly cooked with some crunch still and well salted. The meatloaf was a tad unsalted but still had the same side of good veggies. Decent food stop!

Yelp
So I've never had scotch eggs before but they were delicious and the mustard wasn't tart it blended perfectly. Had the fish and chips, I would've preferred it crispier but it was still good. The service was great and had honest opinions. Prices were fair. I'll definitely return before I leave Pueblo.

Yelp
They worked with my allergens and had great food! I'm allergic to soy, gluten, and potato which makes things a challenge on trips. Even locally I end up eating the same 5 places. But this place was stellar. The waitress grabbed a manager and he and I walked through my allergies and concerns. We worked out I could have the corned beef with no sauce, no potato, extra veggies (cabbage and carrot). They use canola oil in the fryer to I could get sweet potato fries! Dad got the meatloaf which he ate all of and looked very satisfied with as well. Also had the house-made root beer, which was super good! I'm super pleased to say I had no adverse reactions and the food was great!

Yelp
The service was outstanding and not to mention the food. Would recommend the pueblo green chili pasta.

Yelp
Went to this at the suggestion of a friend from South Dakota. I was told to get their Greene chili Mac & Cheese. What a great suggestion. It was creamy and not too rich. I paid extra for chicken breast pieces and well worth it. The service was good and great atmosphere. Homemade craft beer too but I'm not a drinker. Meatloaf looked good that a colleague had as well.

Yelp
We were passing through town and stopped for lunch. The server was enthusiastic and informative and gave what felt like an honest answer when we asked for recommendations. We had the fish and chips lunch and a chicken salad. Servings were good-sized and pricing was good. It has a definite brewpub kind of vibe, but not the standard hoppy odor (in case that's a thing for you). Food came out fast and hot and we enjoyed our meals.

Yelp
Just left Shamrock Brewing. The food was excellent and the service was even better. I came in with 2 tired kids after a long day driving from New Mexico to Colorado Springs. They were wiped out from the trip, but the server was so friendly and helpful. My littlest dropped his icecream and she was right there offering another and cleaning up. I wish I could remember her name but she was slightly built with dark hair, tattoos, and glasses. The adults had the scotch eggs, and cheese potato soup. The kids had corn dogs veggies, and the grilled cheese and chips. The food was perfect, hot, well flavored, and fresh. I will definitely be back next time we drive through Pueblo.

Yelp
I stopped here for lunch today. From the outside, it comes across as a classic Irish Pub. After you enter, it gets better. There is a nice old school feel to this place. At the bar area they have nice old seating that you would expect at a diner. I love that they didn't use typical bar top chairs. There is plenty of seating at this establishment. Besides the bar side of the establishment, they have a whole other side with plenty of seating, both tables and booths. My waitress was friendly and accommodating. I ordered Fish & Chips. You have the option to order two or three pieces. The Fish & Chips comes with actual chips. Not imitation chips (typical fries that so many restaurants serve with this meal), a heaping of coke slaw and homemade tartar sauce. This meal was delicious! The homemade tartar sauce was great and I enjoyed every chip that I consumed. So glad I stopped by here today! Also, this establishment is an on-site brewery. They have a chalk board that features all of their latest brews. You can also see some of the brewery equipment through one of the interior windows. This would be a great place to go to for St Patty's Day or any other special celebration. I was impressed that a manager walked around to each table to see how everyone's meal was. I didn't know it at the time but the manager seated me when I walked in. He was nice and professional. Great to see a manager checking on patrons. If you have Irish roots or just enjoy a good ole' Irish Pub like myself, check this place out to see what you've been missing. This would also be a good place to take a date. Enjoy!

Yelp
Went here on 4/30/2023. First time here. It is a pub with a full bar plus a brewery. A lot of seats at the bar then a different room with more tables. Host and waitress were very nice and attentive. We had the Irish red and the wee heavy. Very good beers! Just solid all around flavor. We ordered fish and chips and the Irish biscuits. Fish and chips were good. But nothing special. Actually the best thing on that plate was the tartar sauce. Irish biscuits was was biscuits and gravy with a Scottish egg in the middle. Gravy was good. The egg was hard boiled which I believe in a traditional Scottish egg the egg should have some runniness to it. Would definitely come back to try more beers.

Yelp
Came for dinner sat in the patio area. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Moved stuff around or out of the way because we had our toddler. Our waiter was also friendly knowledgeable on the menu gave suggestions.brought some crackers oranges for my toddler. Dogs are welcomed to the patio. (They had a water bowl) food was delicious and didn't take too long at all. Inside they have private booths which are nice also bar seating. It was getting busy the later into the evening. Enough parking you don't have to pay for parking either. This restaurant is located in a great area old downtown so take a walk and check out other cool places. I'd definitely go there again our meals were delicious atmosphere relaxing.

Yelp
Amazing food, bartender friendly and attentive. Atmosphere nice, good music. A lot of cool police and fire memorabilia, patches, badges, hats.

Yelp
We had pot roast, reuben with sweet potato fries and salmon on salad. All the food was good, the waitress Jordan was excellent and took good care of us. For dessert we had root beer float and caramel apple cheesecake Keep up the great work!

Yelp
Fish & chips and Corned beef platter were amazing. Will be back for sure! Is that rosemary in the rye bread? Yum Cole slaw needs a little love, sweeter maybe Wee heavy ale was Bangin

Yelp
We discovered this gem while looking at apartments in Pueblo. The Irish pot roast was soooo good! The Scotch eggs were the best I have ever eaten and the aioli sauce was amazing!! The beer cheese soup was delicious and rich - but the bowl is very large!! We will certainly be back!!

Yelp
Meatloaf plate 4.4 out 5 solid on any day Potatoes 3.8 Veggies. 4.0 Green chili Mac add chicken 4.6 very tasty dish. And a large portion. Got two local beers. They were solid beers. Overall 4.4. Definitely would return.

Yelp
I'm visiting from NC. We were discussing where to go for St. Paddy's Day. I found this place on Yelp. Imagine an Irish brew house on 3/17. They were crowded, but the service was spot on, the food was very good (the 3 of us ordered something different). Hand's down the meatloaf was #1 followed by the corned beef and cabbage. The atmosphere was very typical for an Irish Pub on St. Paddy's Day!
google avatar

Yelp
I had high hopes but everything was just average. My food was good but not great. The cider I ordered was delicious, but we had a little mishap. A different server came by and tried to drop off a second cider. I told her I already had mine and she said "on the bartender must have made 2 on accident, you can keep this one!" When I got my bill, she charged me for two ciders ($7 each), which annoyed me since I tried to send it back. They were out of a lot of their beers, but still had quite a few options. The bar itself is really impressive, but we got seated in an attached room that just had tables, so we didn't get to enjoy the ambiance as much.
google avatar

Shin M.

Yelp
Restaurant with lots of seating and a small parking lot. I got the fish and chips. It was just ok. It was over fried for my taste. I really liked the wedge fries. The burger with the egg was just ok too. Typical bar food.

Judy C.

Yelp
We love Irish food, so we gave Shamrock Brewing a try. We have now been about 5 times, so I am ready to write my review. The food is delicious! We have tried the beer cheese soup, Scottish eggs, fish and chips, Irish nachos and we have loved it ALL! It is a nice place with a chill atmosphere and the service is fantastic! We are so happy to have another restaurant we love in Pueblo! We moved here in October and we are trying to determine our "go-to" faves. This one is a keeper!
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
They've been open long enough to have it down! The menu is solid. The beer is stellar. The vibe is chill. Popular place for Christmas parties and large get togethers. Love the Mac and cheese, and Irish Club. The Irish Red beer is my favorite but I try different ones often. I do miss the Irish Nachos though...

David B.

Yelp
I have been four times now and had something different each time. First time, the Reuben, wow maybe the best! But hold it, maybe it was the fish and chips had or was it the buffalo burger? Hard to choose, but definitely get the artichoke dip to start. The servers are fast and attentive. And the atmosphere is just what it should be. Definitely give it a try!!
google avatar

Kay G.

Yelp
No Vegan options! When I called to ask before going they hung up on me twice, had to wait for awhile on hold. Heard them talking in the background. Very unfriendly.
google avatar

Moriah R.

Yelp
I was invited here with friends and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the Irish Farm Burger which was delicious! Our server was very friendly and kind! The overall vibe was very cozy and family friendly. They have weekly specials as well which all looked great! Highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Eric C.

Yelp
The house salad was fresh and delicious. The green chili Mac and cheese had a wonderful kick. The house pale ale and porter both quality beers. Been visiting in Colorado for a week and this is the best place I've found.

Braxton P.

Yelp
Have been going to the Shamrock for six to seven years now, no complaints! Staff is always very friendly, food is always fresh and absolutely delicious! Great for small parties, large parties. They will basically accommodate anything. Beer/food are amazing! So many selections!
google avatar

Pam F.

Yelp
I had a Rueben with mashed potatoes. Very tender corned beef and yummy sandwich. Mashed potatoes were tasty, without the gravy. House made root beer was good. My husband had Fish and Chips. I did not taste his. He ate the fish without removing the breading. He added a moderate amount of Malt Vinegar. He only ate a few chips. We lunched there today, I forgot pictures. The pub was full and had a talkative crowd. Seemed to be popular with the locals.
google avatar

Tom M.

Yelp
I love this place. Great food! Service is pretty good, and the crafted beer they make is awesome. If you like cheese soup, they have an amazing beer cheese soup using one of their house beers. One of the best I've ever tasted.
google avatar

Thane M.

Yelp
Shamrock Brewing offers outstanding atmosphere and food. It was nice to revisit them after a few years. I used to visit them often when I lived in Colorado and brought many of my colleagues and family members to enjoy what this place has to offer. To start, the Scotch Eggs are a must have. One of my all time favorite appetizer. I have tried several main dishes from their menu and all have been fantastic. This time was no difference, I had the Angus burger with sweet potato waffle fries. The atmosphere of this local popular business is inviting and perfect for any occasion. Family friendly on one side and a bar on the other. The employees are very nice. Parking can be difficult at times.
google avatar

Gilbert O.

Yelp
Always great food and drinks! I had the "Bangers and Mash" and it was delicious. Washed it down with Guinness. The server was attentive and the atmosphere was like a pub. Unfortunately, there was a few drunk patrons, but I was at a pub!
google avatar

Wendy K.

Yelp
Read the Yelp reviews and decided to give it a chance. Our server was fantastic! The drinks, Scotch eggs, and sandwiches were amazing. We shared the Irish Club and Ruben sandwiches because we didn't know what to order... there were many yummy sounding menu items. I'n less than 30 minutes after serving the place became packed; it was evident it's a popular place to watch a game, enjoy friends and family, and engage with some culinary goodness. When we come back to Pueblo, we will be back!
google avatar

Alena M.

Yelp
Really delicious food. We stopped here on or trip for lunch, and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed our pot roast and corn beef. The place was packed, very popular spot. The service was nice.
google avatar

Sophie D.

Yelp
This is a chill place to grab a beer. Outside seating and inside is cool when it's hot out. Tons of seating which is good for groups. My server was especially sweet and quick. I got the fish and chips. So good and freshly made. The coke slaw was eh. My Irish Red was SMOOTH. Literally the best red I've had in a while. The restroom was clean but the paper towels were not loaded into the machines so you grab the roll with wet hands to tear off a piece. Not ideal but not unbearable.
google avatar

Flo V.

Yelp
Who knew there was so much to do in Pueblo, CO !! After touring the area, we stopped in to Shamrocks, for lunch. Place is cool. Besides being an Irish Bar, it's also a brewery!!! We sat at the bar.... As usual, and Kia was our Bartender. She was extremely nice, welcoming and friendly. The decor gave you that good old Irish feeling. We ordered the Buffalo Burger to share with house made chips, cooked perfectly to med-rare. Fabulous & delicious!!! Our drinks were the Irish Red Ale and their house made Root beer. Both were sooooo good, we ordered a second one. Highly recommended.

Pat K.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Food was great, had the fish and chips and my sister had the Italian nachos! Both were spot on. I tried the Irish Red Ale, it was delish, tasted just like the menu described! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to try a great local establishment
google avatar

Yelp
Ok been back to Shamrock for the 4th or 5th time now and it is still my favorite place in Pueblo. The food is Awesome and constant. Staff are attentive and polite even when swamped. If you haven't been by yet, give them a shot. I had the Rueben last night with jalapeños and bacon. Amazing! Just the right amount of heat and flavor. Very comfortable place to enjoy the evening.

Megan C.

Yelp
Awesome pub! The bartender greeted us promptly and seated us quickly. Definitely an Irish Pub. The Scotch Eggs and Fish and chips were very good as well. Will definitely go again.

Elodia L.

Yelp
Food was great and service was awesome. They were able to accommodate a large group! I would definitely go again.
google avatar

Eli S.

Yelp
One of the best places in Pueblo to get Chili Mac. Their green chili is amazing when combined with macaroni and cheese. I also absolutely love their homebrewed Root Beer. It's a lovely place to have a nice drink or a family meal.

Val R.

Yelp
Service was extremely slow even though I ordered online way ahead of time. I got my food and took it home and the bacon cheeseburger had no bacon and it was literally black cause of how burnt it was. Nothing on it but cheese though I asked for everything but tomato. Then when I called, I was promised a refund for the bacon (since it's extra) but never got refunded. So they burn your food, don't give you what you order, and don't follow through with refunds if you do have an issue. If I could give them zero stars I would. Never going back.
google avatar

Karina C.

Yelp
Came here wanting to try something different and overall it was good. I wasn't overly impressed but definitely wasn't disappointed. Service was good and the food had great flavor. The pretzels were definitely our favorite as they were stuffed with cheese and had a cheese dip that was spicy and good. The reason for not giving it a 5 is simply because there was nothing that was overly impressive. It is a neat place, appears to be an old building and the restroom was a bit messy. They had TVs at each table or at least where we were sitting and the one at our table was dirty. It's a place we would come back to but not a place where we would go out of our way to come to since we live in Fountain.
google avatar

Katie J.

Yelp
This is a weekly spot for my husband and i! We love the authentic pub vibe, and the Irish nachos!! The green chili Mac & cheese, with chicken, is an absolute MUST try when visiting Pueblo! Not to mention the entire beer menu is packed with great finds, that they make right there in house, in front of your face while you eat! How cool is that? I will say the service isn't always up to the standards we hope for, and sometimes the wait can be kinda long, but it's never so bad that the pluses don't keep up coming back.. sooo use your own discretion there, but if your pretty laid back with that stuff definitely do recommend!
google avatar

Kathleen D.

Yelp
The fish fry was really disgusting...greasy, fish was sort of a grey color. Inedible. Bartender was not friendly and seemed bothered by having to take a to go order. She seemed very miserable and never asked me if I wanted a drink or anything while I waited. Very poor customer service.
