"The sister restaurant of bustling burger spot The Nook, Shamrocks is a sprawling pub on St. Paul’s 7th Street corridor. The menu isn’t exclusively Irish — Shamrocks offers lots of classic pub food — but it features Irish fries loaded with corned beef and sauerkraut, Irish Cobb salad and stew, and Reubens. (One of Shamrock’s Juicy Lucy takes is the Paul Monitor burger, stuffed with pepper jack cheese.) The pub is known for its extensive beer list and live music on weekends." - Eater Staff, Stacy Brooks

We stopped in for dinner last weekend to try out the Irish nooks, and it did not disappoint! The honey cheese curds are so good, and the menu has so many options for anyone who could ever walk in the door. The place is huge, with seemingly never ending rooms for events or just more seating in general, so it would be great for a big group.

Google
Nice atmosphere, the food was mostly good but all around the fries had negative reviews by my party. The staff frequently checked in and was very helpful. I got the O' Patty Melt and fries and I liked the melt. We also got chocolate torte and a strawberry shake. Both were visually appealing and tasty, but I recommend getting the torte if you have multiple others to share with, its quite intense. The bathroom required a slight bit of navigation, but the facility was nice. The only sensor was the towel dispenser, the toilet and faucet had levers. They also had a small room of arcade machines. The parking lot is a small lot across the street, and it has a sign indicating Shamrock customer parking.

Showed up with a group of 10 at 11am on a Sunday. We were seated within 5 minutes. Food was amazing, hot and served at the same time. Drinks were never empty and staff super attentive.

I don’t know man… it’s like playing Russian roulette. Got the burger with sliced brisket or roast beef. The amount is far less than it used to be and to prove that it was on there, the dude used his fingers to peel the cheese up to show me the single piece of meat. Used to pop in for a beer on the patio with the dog, and now that’s not allowed either. It was such a staple, but I don’t know if there are new owners or what, but we can’t justify walking over anymore after the last 3-4 experiences. Servers are excellent.

Stopped here for lunch, hoping for some traditional Irish food, but that was not the case. The food was mostly burgers and sandwiches along with the typical Walleye choices. So I decided to have the closest thing... a Reuben Sandwich. Well, thank God I did!!! Best one I have ever had!! I had the coleslaw and chips, which were ok but not very creamy or salty fresh. But the sandwich....Tops!! Atmosphere is very sports influenced. Lots of tv's, beautiful wood and old bar. Had a Collins that had a few twists on it and was really great, too! And finished the experience with great, atte time wait staff! Needless to say, I will be back!

Google
We tried this place today! What a treat! We had 4 very good beers, and the food was just as good! We ordered the flamin hot cheese curds. They were fabulous!! The artichoke jalapeño dip was just as good! My rueben was one of the best I've ever had! My husband ordered the black and blue burger. He loved it! We will be back!!!

I recently visited this restaurant at 1 pm and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted by a friendly employee who told me to sit wherever I liked. However, after choosing a table, I waited for 15 minutes, and no one ever came to take a drink or food order. The restaurant didn't seem too busy, with only 6 people at the bar and maybe 4 tables occupied, so it was surprising that I was overlooked. There must have been some miscommunication or something. Despite this, I am giving 2 stars because the initial greeting was warm, and the food smelled good. Hopefully, my experience was an exception, as the restaurant has great reviews.

Wonderful experience, the atmosphere disappoint. The food was amazing, Ali my bartender, rockstar

Yelp
So this was a recommendation from some guy at Mall of America to my friend, and it did not disappoint at all! I'll admit to being a bit apprehensive as we walked into what looked like a massive sports bar, but the servers were super friendly and we got seated immediately. We both ordered the juicy Nookie and got an appetizer of honey bacon cheese curds. They were just as good as they sounded, and there were so many of them. Deep fried cheese curds soaked in honey, and bacon might be the world's best thing. of course, we ate so many of them that by the time the burgers came out I was halfway to full. Please note that did not stop me from devouring my burger. This burger was perfection. It was juicy, filled with cheese, and so freaking delicious. I nearly died. Do yourself a favor and come here and get a burger and be happy. I wish I had had more days in St. Paul, because I would've gone there again.

Mahva J.

Yelp
So, nothing has changed since my review in 2015. We still love the Honey Bacon Cheese Curds. The Bacon Bourbon Burger is still the Number 1 choice for me. The service is still great. They have TV screens all over, so you will find sports fans there. You will ignore them once the food comes out. I've had the Patty Melt here, and it's wonderful, as you might expect. I vacillate between regular fries and waffle fries, depending upon my mood. You can't go wrong with either choice.

Travis H.

Yelp
Juicy Lucy's and beer?? What could be better?? Went here after work and had great service and even better food. I had the guys big bite and it sure was big, enough food for my lunch and dinner... lol We got some flaming hot cheese curds and they were really good, not too hot and a lot of flavor. Would definitely come here again, plenty of drinks on the menu and a very fun atmosphere.

Shayna T.

Yelp
I want to start by saying that I am gluten-free, and that greatly limits what I am able to experience here. I could imagine I would have a much better experience if I could have a juicy Lucy with a GF bun! I came on a Sunday with a large party and we were able to reserve a table ahead of time. It was surprising quiet, but definitely has a pub vibe and was incredibly loud the last time I was there. My spouse had the hot cheese curds and was a bit disappointed by them since they weren't spicy. We had some of the grilled wings skewers with dry rub which were okay, and also some jalapeño poppers which met expectations. Decent place for groups, and would get a higher rating from me if it were more gluten-free friendly!

Nate B.

Yelp
Great Juicy Lucy's, same owners as The Nook and the same food, but in a bigger space. Great for groups, awesome burgers, close to the Xcel Energy Center for concerts. Great service on my visits & affordable prices. What more could you want?

Aneesa K.

Yelp
Yay!!! We're back 11mis. Later AND I ordered the Ruben AGAIN. Maybe one day I'll try something else.. MAYBE!

Jodi W.

Yelp
We visited Shamrocks to celebrate a family birthday. Our waitress was superb. We asked if we could bring our own pie in to celebrate and not only did she say yes, she gave us soft serve ice cream to go with it. Yes, we tipped her very well (30%). Nice job Shamrocks! You never disappoint! Our burgers were their usual amazing!

Scott R.

Yelp
The service is excellent great sports bar pub atmosphere had the Guy's Big Bite burger with fries , Fries slightly over done but still good . The only reason for a 4 star rating this trip . Definitely worth the trip , and definitely will go back .

Greg P.

Yelp
Some friends and I went here as a plan C a few nights ago for late night food. The place was practically empty. We ordered some beers and food. The wings were old tasting and the blue cheese was not like any blue cheese I have ever tasted. The burgers were decent but overcooked. I asked for medium rare and got well done. The prices are fairly high for a dive bar. But if you just need a late night spot for food and beer they are open later than most. Service was decent. I doubt I'll go back unless I need a late night spot and am desperate for a beer and bar food.

Tess H.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday so fairly busy but they were very accommodating, allowing us to make a reservation for a large group of 12 and being ready when we arrived. Drinks took a bit but to be expected on a busy weekend! Good selection of drinks, GREAT APPS, and my fiancé got a burger and raved about it. The flaming hot cheese curds were not very spicy, and that says a lot coming from me who is a baby when it comes to spice. They were very tasty though and the sauce it came with was delectable, seeming like a honey based sauce. We got the bone in wings and split between dry run and honey based sauce. 10/10 - the ranch and blue cheese was also made from scratch which is always appreciated. Highly recommend for yummy food that is high end bar food in a fun environment for fair prices. Great place to watch sporting events and they shuttle to games as well!

Lenny Z.

Yelp
Shamrocks is a St Paul classic and exactly what I needed after a stressful afternoon of trying to find the weasel rummaging in my basement. As always the food was good, the service was friendly and quick, and the vibes were great! Heads up, the front room tends to be cold in these brutal winters, so if you have the opportunity, ask for a table in the backroom. I was enjoying myself so much almdidn't want to leave and go home to see if the traps I set worked or not! Spoiler alert... they didn't! I guess this Shamrock wasn't my lucky charm.

Chandra R.

Yelp
Our table ordered the bacon cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, fries, walleye fingers, Irish stew and honey bacon cheese curds. The burgers, Irish stew and walleye fingers were great. The fries were cold and the cheese curds were a bit much with the honey. The regular ones would have probably been better. The service was friendly, especially our waiter, he was awesome. The ambiance was a lot of fun. We watched our hockey team win then watched the band Uncle Chuck and everyone had a great time.

Jen K.

Yelp
Good food just needs a lot more decoration and for some reason the water doesn't taste right

Brad L.

Yelp
Been here a few times over the past 10 years and have always had a good time. There is a lot of room, big bar and great food. Had the Juicy Nookie Burger stuffed with cheese and 2 different types of Pot O' Gold Wings. All the food was super flavorful and cooked nicely. I've had other juicy lucy's that were more difficult to eat and t

Dennis K.

Yelp
Glad we took the stab in the dark and came here on a very hot Labor Day 2023 Monday for lunch. Our server Teagan was very accommodating and gave us great service! The truly "homemade" French fries are the bomb! and the onion rings are as equal for flavor and taste. We will be back here again when in town.

Missy S.

Yelp
Probably should not be getting a Reuben sandwich at A place famous for their burgers. I could not eat it because there was so much fat. And if there was 1000 island dressing on it I could not tell.

Fun K.

Yelp
If you want burnt hockey puck tasting burgers served with a side of bigotry, Shamrocks is for you

Jon H.

Yelp
Went to Shamrocks based off of my coworkers recommendation! Very happy I listened! I asked my waitress Claire what I should ordered and her recommendations did not disappoint. I got the Paul Molitor Burger with Cracked Pepper fries and Chipotle ranch. The pepper jack stuffed burger was cooked perfectly and the cheese just oozed out of each savory bite! Fries typically don't impress me when served alongside a delicious burger, but the fries held their own- nice twist from a regular basket of fries! Ordered a cider to wash down the meal- very crisp! Atmosphere was COVID safe- staff wearing masks, clean tables, and distanced dining while not taking away from the fun and lively atmosphere of a bar and grill!

Kathleen K.

Yelp
Came here at 10pm when every other kitchen on west seventh was closed. Amazing GREASY APPS!!! The band playing was an added bonus. Amazing people watching. The bouncers were keeping the place safe and well organized.

Todd M.

Yelp
I had a retirement party in one of the back rooms. Approximately 40 people were present. The servers Aaron and Jesse were outstanding. I don't think anyone ever waited for a drink. The food was great as well. Overall great service!

Kelsey K.

Yelp
We came here after finding out it's sister bar is the Nook. Shamrocks has a lot more space here and hosts bands. There are a few small lots behind the bar otherwise street parking. They have delicious burgers and wings. The French fries are also really good! I personally enjoy the stuffed burgers. The #7 burger is my favorite. I also really liked the chipotle garlic wings. Service was a little slow but no issues. A simple burger joint that we enjoy going to.

Corey H.

Yelp
I'm not a big wing person but they were hot, meaty, and spicy but not too spicy. The Asian chicken salad had dressing that was not sickly sweet. We got ignored for 30+ minutes even after talking to a hostess twice but maybe it was because we looked so cozy and romantic and they were giving us space? Once we were served, the service was just fine.

Jonna M.

Yelp
I had the burger and waffle fries. Large serving so you won't go hungry. The burger was good but very greasy. I ended up having to eat it with a fork. My husband has the Ruben and he says it's the best he's ever had. We went on a Saturday night and were seated right away.

Molly G.

Yelp
Fish fry Friday is my go-to day for dinner at Shamrocks with the family. Live music nights are LOUD, but i enjoy the darkly lit bar and dining room.

Ralph M.

Yelp
Shamrock's is always on our list. Always. Burgers are consistently some of the best of all the Twin Cities and the rest of the menu ain't too shabby either. This visit I went with the Mickey's original with cheese. It's cooked to a perfect medium and melty cheese in every bite. Fresh cut fries are soaked a bit in pickle juice before frying and are on point. Ordered the bacon beer cheese dip for dipping and that was meh. You can skip that and get some seasoned sour cream instead. Also ordered the MN Wild Wings which were a nice dry rub with decent heat. They're following COVID guidelines pretty well, but many patrons aren't wearing masks walking around. Not sure there's much they can do about that. But tables are blocked off and all staff are masked up. We felt pretty safe. Get there soon if you haven't. It's a St Paul and Twin Cities staple!

Chr D.

Yelp
The waiter Aaron was absolutely horrible on Monday. It was almost like he did not want to be there. When I arrived, there was CRUMBS AND BACON all over the booth that I had to clean myself. I could hardly enjoy my food. I was dreading him coming back to the table. How would he attack me this time? He insulted where I'm from and basically told me I did not belong there. Save your bigotry and weirdness at the door before you come to work. The whole in your face, poser, fake hipster vibe is so old. Definitely will not be going back. I did not want to tip him after his rude he was, but in situations like this, you feel vulnerable like you still have to be kind. Even though you've been bullied.

John B.

Yelp
Lively West Seventh Street destination at a busy corner. Menu for everyone and several rooms for different loudness levels. A classic St Paul place.

Jason K.

Yelp
Some buddies and I were going to the KISS concert in St. Paul and Shamrocks has a shuttle from their establishment to the XCel Center in St. Paul, so they all wanted to meet there. I had to work the next day, so I was drinking Diet Cokes, but I had to order a Juicy Lucy. I got the Molitor, which has pepper jack cheese instead of the normal American. So good. (Juicy Lucy is 2 burger patties with a slab of cheese between them that is supposed to explode with hot cheesy goodness when you bite into it.) Shamrocks is the sister restaurant of The Nook, which I have been to before. So I knew they had great burgers, I maybe have 3 burgers a year, so I like to make them count. There was not enough cheese in this one is my only complaint. I want my Lucy dripping out like lava from the dead cow. This one was good, but I have had better. They did let me sub a side salad instead of the fries and the salad was large and good! The shuttle worked perfectly and our waitress was awesome, cool atmosphere and very St.Paul. Fun Place!

Joline E.

Yelp
Stopped at Shamrock's on our way to curling this week. I've been several times but this was my first chance to review our food and drink experience. We tried the Leprechaun Legs (fried green beans) and Caesar salad (I know, I ordered a Caesar salad at a BAR, but the guy next to me got one and it looked really good). Both were very good! The salad was the small (versus dinner) size and had ample dressing, almost too much but perfect if you ask my husband. And the green beans had really nice uniform light breading and two delicious dipping sauces (ranch and what tasted similar to sweet and sour). We'll be back!

Brenda A.

Yelp
Went to see a band and they were fantastic but our server was not. We aren't big drinkers but we did all eat, and we did have a couple drinks. I usually tip well over and above 30-40% since we aren't big drinkers. But this waitress is as lucky to get 15%. Completely disappeared after we ate, even when asking another server to get her she didn't come back and the other server wouldn't get us anything. When she finally did return, she refused to split up the check between us. No biggie just meant less for her. Sad because I usually like the place but it really seemed to be an off night as our food wasn't very good either.

Erin M.

Yelp
This place is consistent for great food and service. The menu has lots of burger combos and a variety of other items. The fries are the best here. They are fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service is always great. The servers refill drinks promptly and the orders come out quick. They are usually pretty busy on the weekend nights, but if you get there around 5pm the wait isnt bad. I'd recommend this place for a family night out or reasonably priced dinner to meet friends. They have a new back bar waiting area which is super well done. Places to sit, a bar, and t.vs. this area was quieter than the main room. It would be a good bar to sit at with a first date. Kids: kids menu is reasonably priced. The portions are good for a hungry kid and has 5+ options. They have high chairs. There are usually several families. The place is louder, but not unbearable. Also they give kids a soft serve cone with the kids meal. Kids were given a little package of snacks when we sat down. They have a coloring sheet and crayons. Eco rating: Straws are given out with every drink which isn't great. Kids cups are disposable plastic. Positives, the to go boxes are paper.

Iaan H.

Yelp
I have visited this bar many times and I love it. The building is super old and it adds a very old school feel to the place. Typically I have gone here for Vikings games. They have a projection screen they pull down over the stage where they have live music. Honestly the burgers and wings are good. Not great but they are good. Their mn wild wings dry rub sauce is excellent on their normal wings. I do have to special request that they don't add the breading to them but it's worth it. The real treat to their menu however is the honey bacon cheese curds. Honest to god they are the best cheese curds I've ever had outside of Wisconsin and probably my #2 favorite cheese curd anywhere. Reason for the 4 stars instead of 5: pricing, service. When it's not busy the service is amazing of course and the bartenders and waitresses are all super personable and fun to talk to. When it's busy however you're lucky to get service of any kind if you're not in a large group. Overall love this place, I'll always be back.

Tom M.

Yelp
It's a bar so expect a bar. However it's a bar with a killer burger! Great place to gather with some friends to catch a game and enjoy some of the best onion rings you'll be able to pair with one of the many burgers on the menu.

Katherine B.

Yelp
Go here! Now! Eat in your car! Drive around and look at lights or whatever it is you're doing to keeping your spirits up! Shamrock's is special to me for so many reasons, so it is hard to find the words. I miss that back room and the live music and it is a little sad to eat one of the best burgers ever in my car, but it's still a great burger and fries and a solid price for what you get. I fed my kiddos in the car too, and the kids' menu is a freaking deal.

Stacey D.

Yelp
Alright you can't visit MN without a massive delicious burger. If you're in Saint Paul, I would highly recommend Shamrocks! We actually booked Shamrocks as our venue for our rehearsal dinner. They have a private room in the back that accommodates a larger group. Many of our guests were from out of town and they absolutely loved their burgers! Some of our wedding guests were totally bummed that they were not invited to the rehearsal dinner and will probably hold this over our heads for many years. The staff did a great job at taking care of our large group. They were easy to work with leading up to the event and they even made sure to have gluten free buns for some of our guests that needed it. Our guests ranged from ages 2-80+ and everyone had a great time. Shamrocks is a great option for really just about anyone! There is a small parking lot available to use. Otherwise we were able to find street parking easily in the neighborhood. Thank you so much Shamrocks for being part of our big weekend!

Brad R.

Yelp
I am the Director of programs at a senior living community and yesterday, with some advanced warning, I brought in a group of 20 seniors to enjoy lunch at shamrocks. I just want to say I cannot say enough about the wonderful service that we got from our server Monica. They had the room all set and ready for us, and the server was patient and very friendly. The food came out hot and delicious! I mean piping hot! I would certainly recommend this great business to anybody. In this day and age, it's not easy getting good service. He will certainly get it here. I look forward to another chance to enjoy a meal there.

John M.

Yelp
A perfect pre-New Years lunch. Got the Reuben and fries on the recommendation of (one of) the owners working behind the bar- succulent slow roasted beef, homemade fries- excellent all around!

Casey K.

Yelp
Started our day off with Bloody Mary(s) here and they were definitely top ten material! Delicious and just the perfect amount of spice. Then it was time to put a little something in our bellies. My good friend wanted me to do the Hot Wing Challenge on account of my affinity for hot food but I was really hankering one of those juicy, stuffed burgers. I'm glad I chose the burger, and to a person in our group, we all agreed the burgers were the best we've had in a long time. We stepped away for a bit and I decided that chicken wing challenge needed to be taken on, so we returned and sidled up to the bar. The fellas ordered beers and I had a glass of water and put my order in. 20 hot wings in 20 minutes without drinking anything or using any sauce. The wings showed up and they were thick and juicy, delicious looking, like I'd probably just order them for a meal. We started the timer and I went to town. 11 minutes later, I had an empty basket in front of me and the challenge was over. They weren't that hot, TBH and when the T-shirt I won arrived it said nothing about a winning a hot wing challenge, so I let my buddy choose which one he wanted and I ordered a beer. Go for the bloodies and the burgers, they're awesome. The ambiance is great and so are the wings, they're just not that hot! 11/10 would recommend. I would like to see a better t shirt though!

Claudia A.

Yelp
My husband and are always in search for "The Best Burger we have EVER had" and one of our neighbors recommended we try Shamrocks in St Paul. She raves about it and says that hands down they have the best burgers in town. That's a big statement. There's a lot of burger places in Minnesota and all of them claiming to have the best burger in town. So I first headed to Yelp to do some research. And my oh my! The raves reviews kept going and going. Table for 2 please! Shamrocks is owned by the same owners of The Nook (no we have not tried The Nook yet, BUT it's on the list). This pub, I'm told is a larger version of its sister restaurant and has a more expansive menu. (I'll update ya'll on my findings once I can confirm.) We called ahead and made a reservation for 9pm, because we figured we might need one on a Saturday night and also Covid has me all confused on what the new norm is. Can we just walk into a restaurant anymore? Walking in we realized we could have done without the reservation as it wasn't as busy as we expected and they had plenty of seating! The bar area was poppin because the NBA Brooklyn vs Milwaukee game was playing on the large screens. I already knew what I was having...the Paul Molitor Burger ($8.95)- a juicy Lucy stuffed with jack pepper cheese that kept popping up on many of the rave reviews. And now that I've discovered Juicy Lucy's in Minnesota, I can't not order one if it's on the menu. My husband ordered the California Burger ($7.75)-lettuce, tomato, onion and Mayo but without cheese. Both came out very quickly and both were presented with a mound of French fries. My burger was delicious with melty bubbly cheese oozing out of the center of a beef patty cooked to a perfect medium. My hubby's burger was also cooked to perfection and tasted so good, and actually tasted even better than my Lucy! Our only gripe was that the fries were overdone. They were tasty and nicely seasoned but they were a bit too crispy for our liking. All in all our meal was wonderful and we'll definitely go back! Who doesn't love to have a good burger joint on rotation? Do we think it was the "The Best Burger we have EVER had"? We both agreed that although our burgers were delicious, they were not the best we have ever had here in Minnesota. I personally also thought that the burgers were on the smaller size. I guess I just prefer to see big ole honkers of sizzling meat sitting on my plate. My husband pointed point out that as petite a girl as I am, I eat like I'm a 350lb wrestler. There's plenty of parking on the street and they have parking as well in their lot. The service is too notch, they're open till 1am and they have live music!

Jeffrey A.

Yelp
What a great burger and wings, Shamrocks really holds up to their reputation! We'll be back soon and I have to mention the kids menu has enough of a selection to satisfy our little buddies..

Claire L.

Yelp
Okay is this somewhere I would take a client or an in-law? No. But it is great cheap bar food with an extensive menu, the service is nice, they get busy and it's a very fun setting overall. I love the cheese curds and make sure to order them every time, each time they come out piping hot and fresh!

Cameron L.

Yelp
I'm not sure I can be trusted to go back to this place. Not after the Honey Glazed Bacon Curds. Maybe if I leave my wallet at home and eat a large dinner with three sides and a bowl and a half of mashed potatoes & gravy beforehand. That might work. Otherwise, I'll almost certainly order those sweetly savory dollops of fried heaven once again, and fall so far off my diet I'll cause some serious injuries to myself. The only problem with that, really, is that I WON'T CARE! Have you ever licked the to-go paper that lines the container? Yeah, neither have I. I think about them sometimes, during meetings. I want them. I may go back soon. Yeah, I think I'll go there later tonight. Or now...

Monique H.

Yelp
Shamrocks is a great, laid back place for a beer and a burger. They didn't even make fun of me when I butchered Paul Molitor's name...I'm not from MN, I apologize for my ignorance. Service was really great though. The food was incredibly delicious and filling. We started with some amazing cheese curds, and then I got said Molitor burger which is a juicy lucy with pepper jack cheese and ordered waffle fries to go with it. The fries came with what I think was a seasoned sour cream dipping sauce, but there wasn't much seasoning to it. Great place with great food!

Annie M.

Yelp
Good bloody marys and great burgers. The wait staff were friendly and helpful to each other and to us. We had a baby with us and they were conscientious about his needs, too.

Ashley S.

Yelp
Grade: B- Ugh if you're hungry on a Saturday, go elsewhere. I started at the Nook and they sent me to Shamrocks stating "it's probably just as busy, but its bigger"....but how many others did they send here? Single gal. 630p on a Saturday. ZERO room at the bar. I get it; people are out having a good time. 30 min later though, my buzzer still hasn't gone off and no one has left the bar. That's a little rough. It was about 35 min total when I got buzzed up. Seated. Menu checked. Drink ordered............10 min before the drink comes. I ordered my food immediately too. It was just about an hour door to food. Guy's Big Bite is eh. The burger? Great. Good temp. Good flavor. The roast beef adds no flavor. Pepperjack, cheddar, bacon? Yes. Just a miss on the extra meat. And after the wait... The service didnt get better after I was seated. My drink was empty, still eating, and no attention. Price met the size of the food. Overall, wasnt bad, just a miss.

Yelp
We enjoy Shamrocks before every Wild game we attend. The food is great, they pour a good cocktail and the service is always fast and friendly!

Yelp
Usually have good luck at Shamrocks. Went for the fish fry, wasn't super busy like other fish frys in town and I can see why. Appeared to be frozen breaded cod in small pieces. Waitress took my plate before I could ask for the 2 extra pieces offered on the menu and included with the dinner. With all of the fresh cod being offered everywhere locally this was a bit of a letdown. Average fish at best. My friend ordered the Ahi dinner with a side of pico and lime. Was given the sandwich instead with no pico, no lime. The waitress did offer to get the Ahi steak, but at that point who wants to wait for it to be cooked while the other entree was delivered? Was charged for the entree we didn't want and barely ate half of.

Yelp
Went here for dinner with my family. The food was good and staff were friendly. I would definitely come back. Solid amount of beer and food choices.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place. Many friends talk about how delicious the food is. I'm was soooo disappointed when it didn't live up to its claim to fame. My family had the kids chicken tender meal, W 7th burger, double pepper Jack burger, cheese curds and fried cream beans. The fried green beans were our favorite and came with a nice teriyaki flavored sauce. My kiddo enjoyed the crispy fried chicken tenders but all of our fries were soggy and burnt. I don't know how you can burn fries and have them be soggy at the same time. The cheese curds were nothing spectacular and the burgers were edible but nothing special. Maybe we ordered the wrong things but more than likely won't be trying again.
