Shang Shi Restaurant

We visited together with our daughter and had a wonderful evening together. We started off with the dim sum, both steamed and deep fried. Exquisite ingredients, excellent preparation and innovative, delicious combinations of flavours. We continued with braised pork belly (sadly, they ran out off the crispy one), lamb chops accompanied with side dishes of steamed jasmine rice and the asparagus and water chestnut. We ordered each of the three deserts, moved them around for more of a sharing experience. Excellent wines (no need to go for the more expensive options) as well as sublime tea complemented the food. The interior exhumes richness and perfection in its design and choice of materials, all to be complemented by a service close to perfection of the outstanding staff. By far the best Cantonese restaurant we’ve ever visited, which we highly recommend for an elusive dining experience!

We visited Shang Shi restaurant to celebrate Chinese New Year, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! Every little detail in this place is so carefully thought through—from the beautifully presented food to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff’s hospitality made us feel truly welcome, and the live singer added such a magical touch to the evening. A huge thank you to the entire restaurant team, especially our waitress Alina, who took such excellent care of us, and to the manager, who ensured that every guest had an unforgettable experience. Celebrated Women’s Day at Shang Shi with my mother. Customer service was excellent and smooth, food was amazing and full of flavours. Between courses they offered tea ritual and little bites.The whole dining experience was like a journey in cantonese cuisine. Staff even gave us roses after dinner what made the whole experience even more memorable. Worth visiting and definitely recommend 💯

A truly delightful experience! The relaxing atmosphere set the perfect tone, and the food impressed with its amazing textures and flavors. I loved the thoughtful details, like the charming menu illustrations, elegant chopstick holders, and unique chopsticks. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, making the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great foods, original taste , best service by Ricardo! The Peking duck was amazing. You have to pre order 1 day. I can’t believe they offer this kind of restaurant in such small town and they will be boutique hotel coming well done!

Dined with two wheelchairs and confirmed accessibility beforehand by email. However the route mentioned in the response email somehow didn't work and we ended up seated at the bar side. A movable ramp exists but is slightly questionable for heavier electric wheelchairs. Also restaurant mistakenly believed our booking was two hours earlier than it actually was and called us; apparently during the call I was simply "wrong" even when I very much had the confirmation email on my side. The waiter serving our table saved a lot and the roasted duck was the best I had ever had.

My sister and I went to celebrate her 18th birthday and it did not disappoint. I wasn't sure what to expect since no one I knew had ever been there and I found it throuh google but I am so glad we gave it a shot. We were greeted by a wonderful young lady who led us to our table. Our waitress was Erika who took such great care of us. She was very sweet, attentive and inteligent. Overall just spectacular, we are so greatful. We got a coupel cocktails, the royal tea was so delicious. Sweet with a pop of sour, right up my alley. The cherry blossom was interesting too. Personally not my cup of tea because it had quite a strong vodka flavour, but it was still nice. I don’t have enough words in my vocabulary to describe how out of this world the food was, nor do I want to spoil much. Everything from the plaiting to smell to flavour was just divine. I teared up a couple times while eating it was so good. The portions were all sharing sizes too, sharing everything made this whole experience so much more fun. They even had a little surprise for my sister's birthday which we both appreciated a lot. Overall a must visit place when you're in Tallinn and want a fabulous dining experience. Thank you for having us, we will be back.

We had a really nice dinner at Chinese restaurant Shang Shi, which is new fine dining place in Tallinn. The service was great and everything tastes very good. Will definitely visit again.
